Tonight I went to the One and Only for the first time. I walk in and look for my buddies by the pool tables, but people start shouting at me that I have to go to the bar and show the bartender my ID, so I go over and wait for the bartender to finish serving someone else so she can scan my ID. I ask for a vodka soda. "Beer only". Fine I had a bud lite. Come back to the bar and ask for a glass of water. "We sell bottles of water here for $1.25". Although I had to ask her twice because I couldn't hear the bartender over the blasting metal music. No thank you. Tonight I went to the One and Only for the last time. This isn't a high class bar-it's more of what you'd expect to see in a small town. Everyone looks you up and down when you enter and you have to walk through several pool tables holding up several drunk dudes before you can get to the bar. My wife and I visited recently for Drag Queen Bingo. It certainly was an interesting combination-the LGBTQ folks surrounding the stage and cheering for the performers and the locals on the other side of the bar throwing back pitchers of cheap beer. We didn't have any trouble, but I would not be surprised if a brawl or two pops up occasionally. I may return if there is an event going on, but this probably won't be somewhere I'd just go to hang out. read more

I was SEXUALLY ASSAULTED last night in the bar. Teresa and Jordan did not kick the guy out. Instead they called the cops to report that I left my tab open and wasn't gonna pay it. They never mentioned anything about a sexual assault. (This is my regular bar where I frequent often. THEY KNOW ME HERE) but now I guess they are covering their asses and lying. The cop reviewed the footage, and was told by staff that I said not to remove the guy who just assaulted me out of the bar. NEVER SAID THAT. Meanwhile there is footage of me being assaulted. Me leaving because of the assault. And the man still inside the establishment. Jordan chased me out to my car where we started yelling at each other because I told him no one is doing their job. The one job to protect patrons. He ended up telling me to go fuck myself when I told him I'd never be back to the bar ever again because of this sexual assault and their failure to do anything about it. At the end of the day it's my word against the bars. I'm glad there is surveillance of the assault and failure by staff to do anything about it. I will be filing a formal complaint against the bar and pressing charges against the man I SUPPOSEDLY didn't want kicked out. read more

Worst bar in St. George. The "bartenders" or beer pourers are rude. They demand tips even for one beer and if you don't tip, they start adding more to your total without any knowledge. I only noticed because the next day I looked at my statement and the prices were different. Dishonest employees. I loved the dive bar feel. We were visiting St. George for a few days and wanted to find a watering hole where we could watch the Dodgers win the World Series. This spot was just our speed. I believe it was initially the first bar in the area. They had pool tables, an outdoor smoking area, and a digital jukebox. The bartenders were great. The beer was cold and tasty. The locals were super chill. We never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. They even had a stage and a dance floor. We did some karaoke on a Wednesday night with a cool KJ and a fun crowd, including a fabulous group celebrating a 24th birthday (I think). Highly recommend. If we ever come back this way, we will be sure to visit and support this establishment--big thanks to the One & Only. read more

This was our last stop of the night and even though there was a billiard tournament going on, no DJ, subpar speakers with music coming from a Juke Box, no one else on the dance floor, we still made it such a fun time! Every local I ran into and asked for bar recommendations for some reason tried to steer me away from this bar. It's called The One and Only because it was once the one and only bar in town and for a good while too. Sure, people have got shot here, and it might not be in the best part in town, and maybe there might be some sketchy figures here; but it isn't bad at all. I hunkered down got a table and went through several pitchers of PBR (why not?, it's cheap af and gets you there lol). Shot a few pool games, met a few nice people and was able to end the night on a high note. There are also screens with bunch of games running if you want to just chill out and watch. Pro-tip, the hottest girls come here because its the only one with a DJ/dance floor for rachet weekend nights. I have no qualms about givin this a 4, I had a good time. read more

My Uber driver told me not to go there... He took me to the fire station 2 I think, that place was nice but a bit overpriced for my taste. $18 for a picher and $12 for a Moscow mule no thanks. i used to love going to the one and only but not after tonight. i sat in a line for 40 minutes and by the time i got to the front they were not letting anyone else in. all of the bouncers are very rude and it is the only bar in town that charges you to get in and they don't even sell liquor. the way they check you before you go in is worse than going through the TSA. i will not be coming back unless things change. read more

Came into this bar after sushi. It was slow at first but got really busy around 10:30. We played some rounds of pool and had some beers. They had a Dj playing fun music and us girls really enjoyed ourselves. If we come back to town anytime again soon we will stop in again! Having lived in Utah at one time, I understand the liquor laws and don't really care.. 3.2% beer will do the job (it's 3.2 by WEIGHT, not volume... Do the math). Great local bar with very reasonable prices (can of Busch was $1.75) and draft beers available which included a couple more interesting local varieties. We came on a Monday night, stopping through on the way to Zion, and the place was reasonably busy with folks playing pool and singing karaoke. Big back area for dancing. Well this is literally the one and only bar that's just a bar in St George and for a few other towns like Hurricane. This place has no waitress so you get it all yourself, the juke box music that the other coroners were playing either put us to sleep or it was screaming head banger songs....ugh. They have no hard alcohol, no food and barely a clean floor. We tried to wait for the dj to start at 9 but we couldn't take the juke box for very long. You can get burgers at Larson's and bring it in if you want but the only really good thing there are the shakes. Lol I guess if you're desperate and have nothing else to do then go here but I'll be driving a bit further the next time I visit Zion to another bar. Oh and I'm not sure why someone said the beer is cheap here because it was $7.50 for a Blue moon and that's the same damn expensive price as California...maybe if you're from Canada it's cheap. This is my go to bar for cold beer on ice, good conversation and banter with friends after work. They have 4 pool tables with free pool on Sunday and Monday. They also have darts, ping pong and shuffleboard. The bartenders are friendly and service is always good. They also have several TV's full of sports and will satisfy requests. I don't stay late but I understand the place gets jumping at night. read more

I would only give this a one star because that's all he gave me. If I could go negative I would because I was there for a raiders game and a broncos game. When I was there I was happy with the bartender except for when two patrons came in and one was a Patriots fan and one was a Denver broncos fan and that's who the raiders were playing that day. All I have to say is the bartender turned her back on me and took the local side before anybody else! And the person that was talking to me was a Denver broncos fan and I was a raiders fan. But the funny thing is she asked me name two players off my team and I named them instantly and she couldn't even name her own coach or anybody that was relevant to the raiders or the Patriots or the broncos! Listen. I'm not proud of it. But I frequent this place. It's dirty, they only serve BEER let me emphasize, there is no liquor here. And no, out of towners, I'm not making it up. This bar is small, and I never want to see how it looks in there with the lights on. But, still I come, and I come often. Why you say? They get really happy when women show up, so females don't have to pay cover. They charge dudes I think $5 or something to get in. Makes sense because trust, it is ALWAYS a sausagefest in there. Anyway, nice people work there (shoutout to Rev! The blonde one, I think that's her name) ...and the Corona's are like two fitty. There's also pool tables. On Satuday's they play hip-hop top 40 stuff, so you can back it up on the dance floor, which yes... my drunk ass has done numerous times. Also, you might see your manager or even your friends mom's and shit there. Yup, its like that. This place is dingy as hell. But it's better than going to house parties that get busted by the cops and then getting some kind of charge because minors be running rampant all over this town. Also this place is properly located next to a MCD's so when you are DD and your friends are drunk as fuck (not from the beer at the bar, but from the liquor in the flask they bootlegged in their purse) then ya'll can go order a spicy chicken sandwich or some shit. *Note* If buisness management ever comes upon this, and I hope they do, please... bring back the pole.
