The food was great, and the space felt nice, it was super hot outside so being in there with AC was amazing! The reason i'm rating 3 stars is due to the fact that we wanted to ask a question about one of our meals and one of the ladies cooking made it a big deal and gave us a huge negative reaction for no reason. One thing I noticed about Utah is that everything closes at 9 pm. After a wild day at the softball park that involved some crazy weather, I needed some comfort food. This place is so delicious I will be thinking about it for a while. We got the 3 taco plate special with carne asada and the other plate we got had pollo, carne asada, y de pastor. I was happen to find birria tacos not made with the traditional style meat. These were juicy and cheesy and found myself wanting more. I didnt really need the broth to dip in but I did ask for a side of sour cream because sour cream goes well with everything. I would love if they offered some made in house agua frescas. This might be my new favorite street taco location. They said the tacos were small, but they were stuffed with meat. We had our own leftover onion & cilantro to use at home, but topped them with the provided salsas & pickled radish. Oh and lime. Yum! The Al Pastor is my favorite, carne asada is a must try classic & they always recommend birria. Always thought the Birria Ramen was a brilliant idea, but we are still bigger fans of traditional Japanese Ramen. The quesadilla and the burritos were huge and stuffed with plenty of toppings. They definitely were not kid size. That would be our only recommendation to become a five-star restaurant is to also include kid meals. We stayed at the Oasis in Rockville, UT and had Tacos Plaza catered for 35 people. Above and beyond! Jon is super friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the set up was beautiful! We ordered the al pastor, chicken and carne asada taco service along with rice and beans, guacamole and queso. Everything was delicious and the variety of salsas was perfect for everyone's heat tolerance. I highly recommend the al pastor! We told him we were nervous because we're from California and we have really good Mexican food. I am happy to report that these birria tacos live up to the expectations. My order is the two. Taco was good, but asada is my go to order and these guys nailed it!!! Best in southern Utah (next best is Cedar's El Jefe). I just can't get it off my mind. If it weren't for the 100 mile round trip (please consider opening a store in Cedar!!!!) I would have already come back at least once-and it's only been a week.
