Pretty good food. Nicely decorated. Staff was good. Very busy place. We enjoyed our evening. Would recommend this for large groups too.

We had a large party and everyone loved their food! We got a range of quesadillas, taco salads, enchiladas, to tamales. Everything was served hot a freshly made. Our server was very helpful and took our orders quickly. There were no mess ups on our orders even having 10 people. The inside of the building is bright and intricately detailed. We felt welcomed and left with full and happy bellies read more

Service was great. Food was a little bit less than it's usual. But my fault. I forgot to order a sauce for my chimichanga. And my chili relleno was salty. But still very tasty. Will go again. read more

Loved this food! We stopped in St. George when coming back from a trip and needed some good mexican food so we decided to try Don Pedros and it was SOOO good!!! Domingo was so kind and gave us good options to have for dinner! It was a super cute restaurant with fake birds around that our daughter kept yelling at! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!! read more

The food is incredible and fast, and the workers and people are very nice and helpful!

Food was soggy and tasted like refrigerated. My mom isn't even Hispanic and makes better Mexican food than this :(

This has become an instant favorite with our family. I tried it for the first time a few months ago and brought my family back while they were in town this week! The service was great on both occasions (I believe our waiter was the same man both times, I wish I'd asked his name so I could mention it)! and the food was delicious both times too!! Things that were ordered were: The tacos Gobernador (chipotle shrimp tacos), huevos rancheros, carne asada plate, chicken flautas, steak burrito, horchata, and a kids meal. Everyone loved their orders. We also loved the complimentary warm chips brought out with salsa and bean dip when you first sit down. We will definitely be back again soon, not all Mexican food is created equal and Don Pedro's is definitely one that stands above the rest here in Southern Utah! read more

We love the Washington Don Pedros Mexican Restaurant. The food is great, the service friendly and expedient. Plus, great portion size, so we always take some home and get to enjoy it again the next day! read more

Stopped by on a roadtrip back to California! Great food but service was slow. Got the chicken tacos and they were delicious and I can be picky with my chicken. However, we didn't get any refills on chips and salsa or drinks:( We even asked for refills and it wasn't until the third time asking did they bring out chips and then our food was already out:( read more

The food and service were both great. i am GF and had no issues eating here. the menu is clearly marked with their GF items. the waitress was accommodating with all my needs and great overall. read more

In the recent last two visits were very disappointing. The steak in the burrito was overcooked and not good. Seems like there is a problem in the kitchen. About a month ago I had one of the best steak burritos I've ever had there. I've been dining here for five years now and like this place. I hope they can do better on food quality and consistency in the future. The chips and dip are excellent and the service is normally very good. read more

We stop here every time we are in town! I love free chips and salsa, bean dip and a cold diet coke! You really cant go wrong. I have been loving the Chicken Fajita Burrito lately. it is HUGE. I always choose someone to share it with. Other fan favorites include: La Crema enchilada, chili relleno and of course the Fried ICE CREAM! read more

The waiter was not very good. Never greeted us. Barely said anything to us. Did not feel welcome. Took firebugs get the check and even longe give us our change. By the way this place was deserted. Food was okay. The server not so hot. read more

You automatically get three stars if you can provide me with a solid batch of chips and salsa, this restaurant not only gave me that but they also sent out some bean dip and made sure my chip basket was never empty. And that's saying something, they must've been watching me like a hawk because I practically inhale those crisps let me tell ya. I got the pork tamale and chicken quesadilla, nothing too special but it certainly was delicious. Mom ordered the chicken quesadilla with white sauce, I got to steal a bite when she wasn't looking, and it was fairly tasty as well. Sister got tacos and totally scarfed them before I even had a chance to see what they looked like. Everything was yummy, typical Mexican food and a solid portion of rice and beans on every plate to help fill in all your nooks and crannies. We were the only ones in the restaurant and were treated fine. It took quite a while for the waitress to get our order, I'm not sure if they mixed up who was in charge of our section but we waited probably 10 minutes before finally flagging someone down. We were occasionally we were stranded without beverages and had to keep asking our waiter for refills, too, but overall a fine experience! TIPS & TRICKS: * Come hungry, because you're going to get pretty full on chips and salsa before you even get a chance to dive into your dish. read more

*Update* READ my roach plate review. Scroll on down. -----You've been warned man!!------ Use to be one my fav places to eat even when it was gradually going downhill, now... never again! PREVIOUS REVIEW- David was our waiter and he is pretty cool The lady who fills the water and brings chips doesn't greet or speak to you, a tad awkward but still fine. And a different older man who works there who sat us, he Coke soda mix 7 out of 10 Chips are good Salsa is good Bean dip is good They bring out water automatically for you, thank you! Cheese enchiladas were bland- where are the spices Beef flauta - beef was kinda dry and bland as well- needs to be juicy with some flavor I am super happy they brought my toddlers food out on a plate that wasn't hot ( so she wouldn't touch it and burn herself ) and a spoon! Thank you! I mean this place is fine for people who don't like spicy or a lot of flavor and slow service. It isn't bad it is just the small town kinda feel. there is room for improvement. Your ceilings are gross in the bathroom It needs a remodel in the bathroom. Who can even reach the tp a mile high and far away? It also needs a deep clean. Your current reviews aren't the best. Yall need to get together and figure something out to get your customers to want to rate you 4-5 stars. ****Update:**** FEB 17th 2020 I was pretty dang excited to eat here, literally said out loud after I sat down " I am excited to eat here". My husband did not want to return bc of the last experience but my mother in law was here from cedar and loves this place so we decided to eat here My food came out and i was dipping my food in my guacamole. My last bite i saw this in the guac and turned it over to see it had legs and was a ROACH. How did a ROACH get into this? Nuzzled into my guacamole. After I got done spitting the rest of my food out on my plate ( by the way on my last bite ) and gagging repeatingly.... The waitress came by and took the plate back and after a little bit she came back out and told us they took my plate off our bill and the manager said if we wanted to talk they'd come out *First of all- our entire meal should have been free *Second- the manager should have came out *Three- what the crap is going on in your restaurant that a ROACH somehow ended up in my most likey freshly made that day GUACAMOLE. Four- I write this review because YOU ALL didn't take action and show that you even CARED. AND I know families take their kids and elders there to eat...I hope they don't have to go and get sick from nasty roaches crawling into their food. the FACT your manager KNEW you have ROACH issues and did NOT come out to us and apologize makes this even more gross to me. YOUR HEALTH DEPT SAID y'all knew since they were LITTERY out there last week for the SAME COMPLAINT Did it just get into it somehow? HOW? and died in it? Do you just have roaches falling off the ceiling into your GUACAMOLE bowls? HOW Never... ever... ever. ever. ever... again. Look at the photos yourself and decide if you want to chance this place. Id recommend avoiding. How is it at the hour and day i came this happens. Dipping my food the entire time. I had a KNOT in my stomach all night and I don't even know if that is because my guacamole was contaminated with a fresh adult roach or if the disgustingness of this wigged me out... Ya'll disgusting. I write this PASSIONATELY bc in all my days this tops all the gross crap I have ever found in my food anywhere. IT'S WINTER. WHY DO YOU HAVE A ROACH ISSUE. Photos added of my worst nightmare with food coming TRUE. Negative 100 stars read more

The service here was pretty mediocre, but it had nothing on the food that's for sure! my carne asada burrito was flavorless i only tasted grease. then i was met with a surprise in my burrito! A whole plastic glove/hair net. i pretty much instantly threw up. i asked for a refund they said they could remake my food for me. Why would i want to eat another burrito if the first one was contaminated anyways, don't bring your family here they need to fix this. read more

Don Pedros Mexican Restaurant - this is what a found in my burrito. - Mexican Near Me - Washington, Utah

Fantastic service, great chips with salsa and bean dip. The food was ok. Had that been better, my rating would've been 5 stars.

The food was good. We have been a few times. The issue is that we were charged for 6 margaritas when we ordered 4... it makes me wish we went somewhere else for my birthday. I wanted to celebrate but instead we had to wait for over 30 mins for our second round of drinks and then got charged for 3 rounds. Then when we brought it up with the server he laughed at us. We then pointed to the 4 drinks still on the table and said no we had one while we waited and then another one each that came AFTER we were done eating. Even though we ordered it when the food came. The issue wasn't the wait for the drinks. The issue is trying to charge us for something we didn't order/receive and then laughing at us like we are drunk and didn't realize... Well I'm not drunk off of 1.5 margaritas when you dropped the bill and I DEFINITELY don't appreciate being laughed at. While we had gone many times. I think we will never go back again. I'll gladly go to ANY OTHER Mexican place in town and make margaritas at home if I had to to avoid being charged for things I didn't order/receive. WATCH YOUR BILL YALL. They will take advantage of you if you're not careful. read more

chios were stale! asada was tough and chewy, too bad , because they could totally be better, what a waste of my hard earned money

If you are ordering for pickup from this location be cautious. I have been here few dozen times or the last couple of years. The food is generally descent. The customer service is hit or miss. During the middle of the week Maria works at the front counter takes the orders and makes sure you get them and is very pleasant to deal with. When she is not their a younger girl who is kind of rude mumbles and has consistently screwed up our order. Failed to ring it up correctly always forget to add the soft tortillas that go with our order. Tonight we went to pick up our food Friday night. We usually avoid Fridays because we know that's when this young girl is there. When we got there she said somebody already picked up our order. We asked them to have it remade she said ok. But then the guy returned with the wrong order after 15 minutes or longer. She took the bag back to the kitchen let it set for another 5 minutes and the brought it out. I know it was not remade because we live less then 5 minutes away and the food was all cold not even Luke warm. They should be reported to the health department for unsafe food handling. It is to bad one employee has been damaging this business so badly. read more

We ordered take out. For the sum of $15 (!), I had 1piece of battered fish in a soggy tortilla. There was no seasoning, a spoonful of both rice and refried beans. It was less than satisfactory and I will never order a fish taco or any other entree from this restaurant. Expensive and unsatisfactory. read more

I love the service here. Staff is usually very personable. Occasionally, a mistake is made on your order, but staff is quick to rectify it.

Though the colors are in the warm hues, the tiled restaraunt with ample room booths, chairs and tables is cool. Again the food is warm and ample. I have never had so much great, lean pulled pork in a Taco/Tortilla (red) Salad as I had tonight. The service was professional and almost over the top attentive. There weren't too many people there which is attributed to the heat wave we are experiencing in this area this July. Having eaten in Mexican restaurants all over the nation and hailing from Tucson, Arizona where the South 4th Avenue tortilla factories, Carnicerias and restaurant are authentic, my husband and I rate Don Pedro's the BEST! We will be back!!! read more

After a long drive from California my family went there. Once seated our server was really nice and attentive. Food came out pretty quick and everything was correct and good. Got the fried ice cream for dessert and it was a fun treat for the kids. What is crazy is our server admits she is normally just the hostess and was just helping out! She did a great job and made sure she knew it! read more

I recently visited this restaurant for take out food. My wife went in, ordered, and came back to the car to wait for our order. While we waited I watched three groups of 3-7 people walk into the restaurant without masks, even though there is a state-wide mask mandate. When the food was ready we picked it up and drove 35 miles home. I've eaten at table at this restaurant in the past and though the food is fairly average, the portions were large. Our take out orders were quite small and some of the order had been left out. I know things are hard during Covid but this is the time to make sure you get it right so your customers will want to return. There are many restaurants in the area doing a fantastic job and those are the ones I'll patronize. read more

Great tasting true Mexican food, you won't be disappointed. Fast Service, very busy but worth the wait.

I've lived in St George for 23 years. We live near the Green Valley location and went there for YEARS pretty consistently. Over the last few years the Green Valley location has declined in the customer service department. We opted to try the Washington location about a month ago and we're so happy to find that their customer service is exceptional! Julio was our original server and we have requested him every single time. I highly recommend the Washington location!! read more

We have come here on several occasions and to be quite honest the food has always been mediocre. Tonight was worse, we order two house margaritas and a appetizer plate that took well over 35 minutes to get to our table and it was cold, the tortillas were dry. The waiter brought us more chips but no extra salsa or beans after 20 minutes. Very disappointed because we were celebrating our anniversary. Then when we paid my husbands card got shredded! read more

Eh ... this is just ok and we wont return The margaritas were sugary and the shriml fajitas were pretty bland - they leave the tails on them ... so you basically have to peel your own shrimp after they are cooked unless you enjoy eating crunchy tails Service was average There are better places to eat than here read more
