I wasn't here as a customer--I was here as a door dasher. But had I been a customer, and had I been spoken to the way I was just spoken to, I would never take my business here again. Occasionally, as door dashers, we are asked to verify items. If the bags are not sealed, sometimes we are asked to open them and verify that we are picking up the correct item, as I was asked to for this order. I opened the unsealed bag, and verified that the box inside had the burrito that I was told it was supposed to have. The man who handed me the order was nasty to me about daring to look inside the bag, as I was asked to do, and appeared to be offended that I verified the item. It was rather insulting and entirely unnecessary. I was there to do a job; he could have gone about doing his job. I did not deserve to be berated for doing my job the way I was asked to. If I had been a customer, verifying that I was picking up what I had ordered for myself, this business would never receive another dime from me. The gentleman who handled the order I picked up today might do well to reflect upon his customer service skills, or lack thereof. read more

What a hidden gem!! I met Gabriel the new owner this morning as I was looking for a good coffee and something for breakfast and he did not disappoint!The coffee is some of the best I've ever had and probably the best cup of joe in St. George and there's some good ones! I ended up getting a coconut white mocha with three shots of espresso that definitely carried me all day. I ordered a large breakfast burrito, which was delicious and included sausage, eggs and cheese, and he gave a side of salsa and also a side of his homemade chimichurri, which was incredible..... but the secret weapon here was a homemade empanada that his wife baked and he let me sample one while I was waiting for my breakfast burrito to be made and honestly it was one of the best things I've ever tasted! Next time I'll grab two of those to go along with my coffee. The location is off the beaten path in the industrial section of River Road, but well worth the drive. I live over in the desert color neighborhood and we don't have any coffee over there so if anyone is reading this review that lives there, it's just a quick 3 or 4 miles away off of Southern Parkway on the river road exit and it's gonna be worth the drive. read more

I was looking for a nice lunch sandwich shop and saw American Grinders on my gps map. Walking in the menu looked amazing. The hostess made some suggestions. I love avocado and got the turkey bacon avocado. I wanted to try the chorizzapan sandwich, which was delicious and my favorite item we ordered. My dad enjoyed the French dip. My mom liked her American Club sandwich. The bread was especially good, and very soft. We also had the chocolate milk and a peach smoothie. Then had some delicious desserts. Found this spot driving around one Sunday and decided to give it a try. Its under new ownership and must I say, the owners are so fun and personable. The sandwiches are unique and the weekly specials are killer for only $6 with a side and drink. The pulled pork and homemade mac n chese is to die for!
