This was an awful experience. We were here from out of town and excited to try Firehouse for the first time. When we walked in, no one greeted us. We stood at the register for several minutes before someone came to help us. Again, said nothing. Just stared at us from the register until I said "are you ready" and he just nodded. I assume he was new because he had to relay every single question to someone else. We ordered 4 sandwiches and a kids meal. All 4 sandwiches were wrong. We checked the receipt and he typed them in correctly which means the girl making them just didn't care to read it. The kids meal was just a sandwich in a box so I asked if it came with someone else like the photo. The girl sighed and said we can pick chips or a Rice Krispie treat. I then had to ask if we also get a drink for it. Luckily there was a stack of fire hats on the counter so we could continue to make our own kids meal. The place was so dirty. It wasn't crowded, yet almost every table had trash on it and under it. The floors in the whole place were so dirty, the soda and tea machines look like it's never been cleaned. Love the sandwiches but the service at this location has really suffered lately. Why would a restaurant like this run out of soda products? Twice. Same thing on my last visit. Last time I was in the help was hanging out in the back and I had to yell to get someone's attention. You can always tell when the boss is not hanging around. This is one our go to places when we come to Saint George. That being said, we walked in today and the place was filthy. Trash on the floor, appeared to be mold on the drink machine, dirty on the counters by the drink machine. We turned around and left. Food was good but doubted the sanitary value of it because the place was filthy. Out of five girls standing behind the counter not one of them took the time to clean the disgusting door after I made mention of how filthy it was let alone wiping the soda machine, tables or walls and the bathroom was filthy too. They were too busy visiting to clean or make polite conversation with customers. If you have time to lean you have time to clean is definitely a value they have not been trained in or kept accountable to. Will NOT be returning. This is the second time I've been in there within a year, the kids that are working there don't say nothing to you when you come in the store.I walked up to the counter to order said hello,how's it going,with the response what can I get you and that was it,when they called my name to come get my sandwich,I grabbed it and said thank you and again nothing!! On Monday March 4, 2024 3pm we stopped by our favorite sub place, Firehouse Subs. There were three tables occupied when we ordered but every table in the place was dirty and had not been cleaned in a while the floor had not been cleaned either. The glass door and all the storefront windows were really dirty, too. All the employees retreated to the back room when not taking orders. Please have someone do their job as no one wants to eat in a dirty restaurant it makes one wonder how clean the kitchen is. There were four employees there just talking and laughing among themselves. I've ordered here several times for my employees. They like the food, but the ordering experience is extremely frustrating. The phone seems to be turned off... been trying to get through for days! I also tried calling corporate and their phone also does not get answered, simply directing you to go to their website. I've read that since the acquisition, their customer service has all been outsourced overseas. I was told over email that I would have to go to the restaurant to place my order (for a future date). The staff is very uninterested in doing their job. Unfriendly and bothered by their patrons. You're better off going to any of the competitors in town. This chain has really gone downhill. I've always liked Firehouse Subs which is why I stopped there on a trip through town. This is by far the worst Firehouse I have experienced. The sandwich was decent but the service was slow and it was one the dirtiest restaurants I've ever experienced. The restaurant wasn't busy and there seemed to be plenty of help, but most of the employees were outside talking to friends. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise it wasn't busy. read more

Such a bad experience here. First time in St. George. The young lady at the register could care less about you or her job. Smile, please. The prices were expensive to start. After we ordered, we sat down to have lunch After 30 minutes of waiting, I asked if our order was going to be ready soon. Three workers looked around and said they were working on it. Firehouse Subs has always been a fave of mine. Sadly, this location was an utter disappointment. My large sandwich was completely screwed up. No mustard (asked for extra), no onion, two small bits of pickle and one slice of a peppercini (I asked for of both). They also don't offer the famous relish!! If in the St. George area, skip this joint and head to Cafe Rio across the parking lot. The subs aren't worth the $10 price tag. read more

i'm so disappointed! i love firehouse but the last couple times i've come in they've messed up my order, no matter how specific i am! went in today and the worker (all highschool age) were running around, throwing stuff at each other, and being so crazy loud. there was only 2 tables with customers, & one table was full of their friends, who weren't workers, just there to hangout. ended up switching our order to get it to go because it was super loud, annoying and unprofessional. left & realized they again, made my order wrong, & all i got was a sandwich. so sad. read more

I would be absolutely embarrassed if I had an affiliation to this location. Brought my family for a quick bite and we were the only ones in the store. The employees clearly looked high as a kite and their lack of interest in serving us was clear. The floor and drink fountain were unbelievable filthy and sticky. Employees (6 of them) could have cared less about the stores appearance and two young men working (blonde and brown hair) were focused on their phones every time I looked up. The place is filthy and SLOW 35 min from time order was placed to when they finally called my name. First time ever getting a sandwich here and there were two people in the entire store and four employees working and it took them 23 minutes to make one sandwich, there was no apology for the wait either. Avoid. Here's why....I told them I was allergic to dairy so I didn't need any dressing and I did could not have any cheese on my salad. They acknowledged this. They were busy and took forever to complete my single salad. This put me behind so I had to hurry home. I got home and there was cubed cheese tossed in my salad. LAME. They didn't answer there phone and did respond to my review offering to remake the salad and provided no way for me to take them up on the offer. Then somehow my prior review was taken down. Some of their combos are a bit bizzare and read the fine print of items so you aren't surprised or disappointed. No respectable Jewish deli would ever sell italian dressing on pastrami. But I know they ARE NOT a Jewish deli so customize to get what you expect. Salads also available. Lots of turkey, ham, italian meats, cheeses, and yummy roast beef. Fully loaded means tomatoes, lettuce, onion, pickle...Mayo and something else, I forget. Don't forget the dill pickle if you are a pickle lover. The large is enough for normal people to share. Big appetites can just go for it! Chips and a drink round this meal off perfectly. Indulge and treat yourself to a cookie. Treat yourself to trying some of the Firemen sauces on the side (bottles can be purchased). While you are in a mental "happy" place give a donation to the local firehouses.
