The food and service was absolutely impeccable with a small menu, but the details and flavor of every dish was precisely thought about. It's owned and run by a husband and wife and you can feel their passion for the place by the quality of service and in the quality of the meals. Tee is the hostess at Rylu's Bistro and the owners could not have hired a better person! Tee is attentive, funny, and very elegant! She's a perfect fit for this bistro. Her presence adds directly to the restaurant's intimate feel and atmosphere. Rylu's Bistro was recommended to me and now that I've eaten here, I now highly recommend it to others! The food is excellent and the service is outstanding! Seasonally inspired dishes. I love places like this! I've been coming here since they opened just a few years ago and the very best part is that the menu evolves based on what's available and of course the different seasons. Supporting their local farmers as there are many in this area, they're also located in a historic home from the 1880's that is now an adorable and very cozy restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation as this tiny home only holds a few tables. Warmer months offer al fresco dining that's shaded by large umbrellas and I love it when peaches are in season for their awesome burrata & peach salad. Colder months offer very rich dishes like their steak in juniper cream sauce. Everything here is exceptional any time of year. The staff is warm and total foodies who get excited speaking about the menu. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Rylu's is by far my favorite restaurant in St. George! It is located in Santa Clara, in a quaint old home. They offer a very small menu but everything on there is amazing. I love that they change the menu a few times a year based on seasonal options. They are only open for dinner, and you definitely need reservations, as there are only about six tables inside. They also have built a new patio cover on the outside so now there is more seating when the weather is good. They have recently stepped up their wine list, and offer some nice varieties. We were very excited to go to Rylu's! We walked in on a Wednesday evening without a reservation and, strangely, we were turned away. Not sure if they were understaffed, but they only had 2 small tables with customers and about 10 open tables and a completely open patio. Would like to go back and try it sometime. We had been here for lunch several times before, but this was the first time for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a group of 4 and we started with the coconut labneh which was delicious. For entrees, we had the monkfish, chicken, and tagliatelle, all had great presentation and unique flavors. Foods can be like music. Mediocre foods are one note - pleasant but forgettable. Good foods bring together a few tastes like a chord. Great foods are a couple of bars. But every once in a while you find a food that plays a full blown 3 minute song with an intro, verses, a bridge and a catchy melody. Ones that hit your tongue with a story that develops and twists and turns as you chew and swallow. Their cheesecake with fruit was one of those foods. We also got the chicken which was great, the fish which was solid and the very good labneh appetizer. Service was great, cozy location. read more

The menu was perfect sized and very simple and easy to understand. The service was excellent. Especially since they had 4 or 5 tables they were serving and they took on our party of six. Our waitress was very kind, super attentive and very quick! Also I was expecting the food to be a little slower because we were a relatively larger group and the place is quite small but everything was super quick! I think everyone in our party very much enjoyed their meals. I had the wedge salad with chicken and it was a delight! The dressing was on the plate with the salad on top. I found the dressing to be super unique and quite delicious. The picked onions were so good, and all in all everything about the salad worked really well from the slices of avocado to the heirloom cherry tomatoes and cucumber. The chicken breast was perfectly cooked, juicy and super tender. I'll be back to get this salad and it's not very often that I say that! My wife had the burger and said it was really good. I may have gotten to eat her "pickles" or picked zucchini rather. They were so good. At first I thought they were just like bread and butter pickles. But they seemed a little different texture. Then someone brought to my attention that they were actually zucchini, different but really good. The burger patty was homemade and definitely a healthy patty. Nice and thick! She said the pimento cheese was super good as well. Our table also had the Po'Boy, the remarks on that were that it was so good just messy (not that that is a problem!) my step mom got the house salad with salmon. Her salmon looked divine and I tried some of her spiced macadamia nuts, they were so good! This will definitely be one of my go to places to grab a bite. I saw they had some desserts that I may have to try eventually too. If you're considering stopping for some lunch, definitely do. The service is great and the food is delicious! read more

A gem in southern utah. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment. This is a small intimate restaurant in a historic home on the main drag in beautiful tree-lined Santa Clara. A limited menu incorporating what is freshest and growing currently in their garden out back. I took my parents here and they really enjoyed the experience (they usually go to Rib & Chop, Red Lobster or any of the hundreds of big chain restaurants in SG). We shared the burrata with (house-made) marmalade and toast, I had the trout and we shared the hazelnut choc tart and panna cotta. Nice wine list too! read more

Lovely restaurant, Ryan and Lucy do an incredible job being creative with a Mediterranean flair in the flavours. The restaurant is like a small living room in an older Santa Clara home, so making a res is imperative. They grow some of their veggies right out the back of the house. I have had some great nights here with friends and fam. So glad it is here as Ivins and Santa Clara is a desert for good restaurants. read more

If you're looking for a good foodie type restaurant near St George, I totally recommend Rylu's Bistro. Food was excellent. I got the Rylu's house salad, and my mother in law got the Waldorf salad. I was worried about my 9yo daughter finding something, but she settled and the cheese and meat tray, and the staff was very accommodating in changing out the pickled vegetable for potato chips. We also got both desserts... just had to try them! One was the juniper chocolate tort, which was pretty rich, and the clementine almond torte, which was on the lighter side We also loved the historic aspect of the house/restaurant, and thought the house was beautifully restored. Would definitely try this place again, if we're in the area. Oh, and I would also recommend calling ahead for reservations. read more
