    Classic burger with fries.

Great service got seated almost immediately, good menu choices, and beautiful scenery whether indoors or outdoors, you'll be able to view the Ledges golf course and the red rock mountains. Had an amber ale and cheesy garlic bread with marinara dipping sauce. And let me tell you that was one of the best cheesy bread I've had in a long time. I had the classic burger with fries and that burger was huge and very tasty.

The service was a little slow but it was worth the wait. They have a lot of options to choose from. We ordered from the house we were staying at and had it delivered. I ordered the Asian lettuce wraps. They looked very nice and tasted good.

This is a great place for lunch especially if you are a golfer, the food is top notch and staff are very friendly. This is a great place for a larger party ! Five stars !

Really enjoyed our lunch here. Split a Ruben sandwich which is one of my wife's favorite and she said it was good just not the best. Fries were very good and wedge salad was one of the best I've had. Prices reasonable. Views from outdoor dining excellent.

Eggs Benedict? Cooked all the way through. Totally ruined and disgusting.

First of all, I see them advertised all the time, so we went for brunch on Sunday and they said they're closed. Quite confusing, so I had to call and make sure they were open. We got there and waited about 5 minutes at an empty hostess stand, and after two people walked by and said they'd be with us, another one came out and said "ok, just go find a seat". Then about 10 minutes later some guy comes out with some water (doesn't ask if we want anything else to drink (probably because theres no drinks on the menu)) and takes our order. I ordered a southwestern eggs Benedict. It showed no meat on the ingredients but I asked anyway. He said no. Then comes back and tells me that it comes with sausage on it?? Glad I asked. (Time to fix your menu, especially the horrible font, guys) So the food comes out 25 minutes later and it's just corn and black beans and some other kind of salsa in it? And the English muffin was just covered in powder or corn meal. Most disgusting combo for an eggs benedict, but I gave it a shot and cut into it, and the eggs were COMPLETELY COOKED. And COLD. What kind of Benedict is that?? I asked the waiter what the heck is wrong with it and why it was cooked that way and he said he'd talk to the chef. Never did. Instead he came out with the check and made us pay the full price of the disgusting meal which was clearly not eaten. Never going back here again. Ever. I'd never recommend this place to anybody. Terrible service. Terrible food. Way too overpriced and pretentious.

My service and food were excellent! I had the pear purse pockets, a favorite of mine that I have not seen on a menu in years. I was very excited to see them on this menu!! The chef came out and spoke to me which was a nice gesture and much appreciated. They only serve wine and beer. They have a nice selection of wines and I don't know about the beer choices because I don't normally drink beer. I would offer a suggestion for the music. Spend the extra money and have the commercial free streaming. The ambience was great until the commercial interrupted the mood. Also, get rid of the dead green plant and pot to the left of the fireplace; it's a terrible eyesore. Overall I will definitely be back for some more purse pockets!

The sauce was rich, so I had plenty to take home and still be full. The Hubbs had the lamb special and it was cooked perfectly. We tried the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Very filling and plenty to share. Not only is the restaurant a beautiful setting, the presentations are next level. The plates are works of art and the food is picture-worthy. It was a wonderful experience.

There are places you go... and then there are places that feel like you've finally come home…read more The Painted Pony is the latter. We adore slipping away for lunch and settling onto the patio, where the world softens--shade drapes gently overhead, birds sing as if they've been hired just for the occasion, and time... well, time slows down enough to breathe. The service is nothing short of immaculate--attentive in that quiet, effortless way that makes you feel seen without ever being interrupted. And the food... oh, the food. The bacon-wrapped dates must have been crafted in heaven... or perhaps meant for the gods and somehow gifted to us. The tuna melt was so transcendent I found myself wondering if I had ever truly tasted tuna before... or if I had just been living a lesser version of the experience all along. And the beef bourguignon... my heavens. It was as if your grandmother--if she were also a five-star chef--had been waiting for you, simmering something rich and soulful to welcome you back after a long journey. Even the tea felt royal... and the mocktails were so delightful, so thoughtfully made, that not once did we miss the alcohol. The Painted Pony isn't just a meal... it's a return.

Tucked into the Tower Building, this New American restaurant nails the Southwestern-meets-fine-dining vibe: intimate indoor seating with contemporary regional art, fresh flowers, and soft lighting, plus a charming patio for when the weather cooperates. It feels romantic and relaxed without being stuffy--perfect for date night or a special occasion while visiting southern Utah.c91b9be2267e Service was attentive and friendly without hovering. Our server knew the menu well and made solid wine recommendations (they've got a nice list, and no-corkage Mondays are a nice touch if you BYO from a Utah store). Portions are generous for the price point--definitely not the tiny-plate nonsense you sometimes get at fine-dining spots. We started with the carrot jalapeño soup (bright, flavorful, and a nice kick) and the baked brie, which was rich and perfectly paired with the seasonal chutney and crostini. For mains, the bone-in pork chop and the hanger steak were highlights--well-cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor from the fresh ingredients and thoughtful sauces. The sides (mac & cheese and haricot verts) were solid too. We finished with the key lime pie, which was a bright, creamy winner. One note, though: pass on the crab cakes. They're a menu staple (around $16, served with something like pomegranate salsa or poblano aioli depending on the season), but ours were mostly filler with a noticeably fishy taste. Not worth the spot on the table when there are so many stronger starters and entrées.781e4d Overall, we'd happily return to The Painted Pony. It's one of the better fine-dining options in St. George--great atmosphere, strong service, and mostly excellent food at reasonable prices for what you get. Just skip the crab cakes and you'll have a winner of a meal. 4/5 stars. Recommended for visitors and locals alike. Reservations advised, especially on weekends.

The food, fish and chips, spicy reuben, chicken sandwich, and bbq wings. Fish and chips, decent enough, nothing to write home about, delicate batter, great flavor. Spicy Reuben...what a trainwreck, the meat was stringy and annoying to eat. The sauerkraut was sweet? Just terrible. The bbq wings were as described, so not bad. The chicken sandwich was not great either, chicken was dry and kind of hard to eat. The garlic parm fries though? Amazing. Get those as your side.
