Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here. The technician was quite dismissive and didn't really listen to what I wanted. Instead of taking my preferences into account, he insisted on shaping and styling my nails the way he thought they should look. As a customer, I expect my input to be respected, especially when I'm paying for a service. The overall experience felt unheard and final product was not what I wanted and I left disappointed with the results. To top it off, the prices are quite high for the level of service provided. My two BASIC requirements when I get my nails done are 1) they don't make my cuticles bleed and 2) they don't body shame me. Unfortunately, this nail salon FAILED at both. Combined with other mishaps, what was supposed to be a rare self-care treat ended up being the worst manicure experience of my life. I arrived for my appointment on time, but waited at least 30 minutes before my pedicure/manicure started. My pedicure was fine, except the nail tech at one point was switching between me and finishing the client next to me. The manicure was a nightmare. The nail tech was really careless when trimming my cuticles, causing to them to bleed, then commenting that I "have a lot of skin". After pouring rubbing alcohol onto the open wound, she then asked me if I was pregnant, to which I sarcastically replied that I eat a lot. If my toes weren't being worked on by a different tech, I would have walked out the door immediately. The nail tech continued her line invasive questioning including the following: -Are you married? Why not? -Why don't you have a boyfriend? -Do you have kids? Why not? -How much do you pay for rent? Given complexities in my personal life, I got increasingly more uncomfortable with each question. I go to a nail salon to relax and forget about my problems, not have myself reminded of them through an aggressive interrogation while my finger bleeds and throbs from rubbing alcohol. So basically instead of a relaxing day, I got humiliated for my belly, my (lack of) relationships, not having kids, and my living situation. On top of that, I had my cuticle sliced off and rubbing alcohol poured on it. It still hurts as I type this. I hope it doesn't get infected. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've been going to Dublin Nails for pedicures for @15 years now. I've always had a good experience. It's a basic place but clean and well maintained. Like most places nowadays, it has massage chairs. I like all the staff but Ming is my favorite. I always ask for him. Not a big talker but he gives the best foot/calf massage! Has strong hands the size of dinner plates! The gentleman in front informed me they were busy at the moment and if I could come back at 6. I didn't mind so he put my name down for 6pm. Came back by 6 and they were still a bit busy. Brought two 10-year-olds on an early weekday morning. There were plenty of seats and technicians available, and the store was clean and bright. They quoted $50 for each mani/pedi, with $5 extra charge for French tips. Not sure if this is normal or kid price, but it seems very reasonable. I have been a loyal customer for years, but my recent visit was extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I plan to share this experience with my friends. I overlooked two prior incidents, understanding that work can be overwhelming at times. However, this latest visit was unacceptable. I had an appointment to fix one nail. The man who handled my hand was so aggressive that I had to stop him and explain that it hurt. As a diabetic, I am particularly concerned about cuts and infections. The nail was crooked, and he walked away to see another client. A lady then came to finish up, and I asked her to fix the crooked nail. She did her best, but by that point, I just wanted to leave. I had another appointment scheduled with Ming for the upcoming Saturday, but after this HORRIBLE and insensitive treatment, I decided to cancel. When I asked how much it would cost, she said $8.00. I was appalled given the poor service and the crooked nail. When you enter a "spa" nail shop, you expect a calm and pleasant experience. I needed a pedicure for long and i am so glad i found this place. Making an appointment was smooth and easy. The girls are very polite and did a great job. I got the basic pedicure yet the massage was pretty intense just the way i like it. They took good care of my shoe blisters and cracked heeled. The pain job was good too. The place is well ventilated, hygienic and an open plan makes it perfect during this covid days. Went on a Monday morning and the energy level was good. I am satisfied. :) The only reason why I am giving them 4 stars is because the COST for Gel on my feet and nails with french tip cost me $102 on top of me tipping the women $5 each. So my pedicure was $51 and my manicure was $51 ? It didn't seem right at all. I understand we all trying to get it out here but $102 is insane. I'm from SF and I could have got this done in my city for no more than $85 and the work would have been done the same. But anywho I do suggest going here if you don't mind paying the cost. read more

When I first walked in, after saying what I was there for, a customer was arguing with a nail tech. Not sure about what, something told me I should leave. I stayed against my better judgement. When j got seated, things seemed to be going fine. She (never gave me a name) started taking off my previous dip powder. Through out the process, I got nicked a couple of times with the electric nail file. No apology, not even I noticeably flinched. Even though they were still open for another 15 minutes at the time when my nails were done, she only did one top coat and it felt rushed at the end. My colors could probably use another coat or two. The worst part was at the end. If you're going to charge a customer a lot more than other places for something like removal (which is another bone I have to pick with nail salons), then you should say something before hand. If I knew they were going to charge me $16 for removal, I would have gone somewhere else. I have never been charged so much to soak my nails in acetone for five minutes and have the product filed off. Oh and I got charged for a full set even though I didn't get fake tips, the acrylic is on top of my real nail. When I asked why and stated that I didn't understand. She kept saying because I didn't have any product on my nails and by the fact that she wasn't covering just the growth since my nails were last done, that this was a "full set." Total cost was $52. Go anywhere else. Not worth the money. read more

I loved the outcome of my nails that I did several months ago but never had the chance to write a review for! I didn't get the name of the lady who did my nails but she did an amazing job. I came in early morning and they took me right away which was great. I did get a pedi and full set done which took about an hour in half. My pedicure was amazing because the lady took her sweet time massaging my legs/feet. The prices here are reasonable and pretty much the same elsewhere. I highly recommend this place!
