If you have acrylics on your hands, avoid this spot. They don't soak your nails to help soften the acrylics for easy removal. They will try and peel it off the nails and it freaking hurts! I came here for the first time on a Saturday morning, shortly after they opened at 10am. I didn't make an appointment but they were ready to take me right away for a pedicure. My nail tech was nice, polite, and friendly. When the color of gel polish didn't work out, she was apologetic and immediately helped me choose another color. My big toe nail had chipped on the left side, and she did a great job filling it in with powder and made it look as if nothing was broken. Overall, she did a pretty good job. My only concern was she clipped too much skin in a couple of spots. It's not as noticeable visually and physically on the middle toe, but on the big toe, the right corner became rather swollen and tender with drainage. read more

i haven't gotten my nails done in over five years and decided to get them done for my good friends wedding! I came to LB nails and looked at some photos online of what I wanted to do. I showed them a dip gel manicure photo that was a more neutral tones with glitter. The end product looked so good!! I had made an appointment before coming and was the first to arrive on a Saturday. The salon is in a small plaza and is clean and comfortable inside. My nail technician didn't speak very good English but enough to get by. He helped me pick two colors to match the colors in the photo i provided them. I've never done a dip before and it was quite a bit of work. He prepped my nail and hand to add an extension since my nail wasn't long enough. He glued a piece of nail extensions to each of my nails. Then He put many layers of powder on for the dip and had to let it dry and administered another layer of powder. The whole process took about an hour. I opted to get another layer of sparkle and also gold flakes design on one nail. Overall I loved how it turned out! I got so many compliments on my nails!! It's been over 4 weeks now and my nails are still in tact! They said the nails typically last 2-3 weeks. Costs for the dip gel nails is $55-$60. I got the sparkle and gold design addition so that added an additional $15. I paid about $70-$75 for the nails. It's not something I would do often but once in a blue moon for special occasions. I've been to LB a couple of times now and have had good experiences each time. I typically get dip removal/dip powder services along with nail art which typically is a gel art on top of the dip powder. I like dip because I think fortifies my nail strength and does not chip for several weeks. They dip your nails in the same container which may be an issue for cleanliness, but most nail salons do this for dip powder. Thankfully I haven't had an issues. I have yet to find a salon that will sprinkle the powder over your nails. I would say for simple art/designs they do a great job. When I asked for something more complicated they have asked to change the design slightly. They usually have a cooking show on for entertainment. Overall good experience for the price. read more

I made an appointment for my mom and me to get mani/pedis here a few weeks ago. My mom wanted French tip acrylics for her vacation and I just wanted a basic mani/pedi. The staff was really nice. My mom was really happy with her nails. My mani/pedi was ok but I was just a bit disappointed because my nail polish chipped within 3 days. I don't even do anything rough but I would have hoped that the manicure lasted at least a week. I was also hoping that they would have smoothed out the natural ridges on my nails. Came in for my first pedicure and gel mani since COVID started! They had screens set up at the pedicure chairs and manicure tables to maintain distancing. The pedicure was nice, but barely got a massage like a typical spa pedi. My cousin didn't even get a massage at all for her pedi. Overall they did good and it got the job done for decent pricing! I have my to-go places to get my nails done but was running errands in the area and decided to try this place based on reviews. I'm a basic B - I always get the basic pedicure so the only things that ever matter to me are cleanliness and kindness and I loved that almost every review talked about how sweet everyone was. I stopped by and they were kind enough to accommodate me as a walk in. The salon is located in the back of a U-shaped plaza that was a little hard to find parking. It's no frills but has your basic colors and gel sets. The set up seemed typical and hygienic with covers and new supplies being used for each customer. The pedicure itself was pretty basic. There wasn't the foot massage and hot wax that I usually get but that was also reflected in the price and the actual nail painting seemed careful. So why one star? Because I walked out of the salon feeling upset and confused and wanting to ask someone "we cool?" I felt like every request I had - to leave, to need assistance to put on sandals, to pay - was an inconvenience. Like most nail places, they prefer tips in cash. They asked if I was paying in cash and I said I only had enough cash for tip at which point I was directed towards a Venmo QR code and then left alone at the counter. Even asking for the number verification for Venmo made me feel like an annoyance. And I didn't know what to do with my cash because I needed change for the tip but it was clear at that point that I was dead to them. I also saw everyone share collective glances when another customer walked in with a baby. The whole experience was anything but welcoming. read more

Needed a manicure and pedicure for a wedding. I called L B Nails the day before and was easily able to make an appointment. Note, they are very popular so highly recommend making an appointment or you could be in for a long wait. As I entered, I checked in and there was a slight wait due to a few walk-ins that came in earlier. I used the time to pick my color and get situated in my chair. Their chairs have massage functions which is nice - I took full advantage while I was waiting :) I got the standard manicure and pedicure and enjoyed my overall experience. My nail technician was especially thorough with my pedicure and completely cleaned my cuticles. The massage was alright but she was very meticulous when painting my nails. All in all, my pedicure was about 20 minutes and my manicure, 15 minutes. My manicure ended up lasting 2 weeks with minimal chipping and my pedicure is still going strong after a month. Just came back from a trip and I needed to take off my acrylics. I was able to get an appointment same day. The shop is clean and very welcoming and staff is friendly. Since my natural nails is weak and brittle they were really gentle at removing them. I wanted to get a gel manicure but Lee recommended I opt for the powdered dip to strengthen my natural nails and then go back to gel manicures. Lee was on point with my powdered dip. I have gotten powdered dips from other places and was not satisfied. Lee is fast but does quality work. My powder is even and not lumpy. She shaped them to make them look more natural. I'm usually really uptight about cleanliness and while this isn't the cleanest place (they used nail filers that were disposable but had clearly been used before and I also saw a nail clipping on my arm console), I would go back. Why? I would return because I loved my dip powder manicure! He - sorry I don't remember his name - put the polish right up to my cuticle so the grow out isn't nearly as obvious as when other people give me manicures. I showed her a design from Pinterest but pointed out that I wanted some changes to it, which she exected beautifully.
