If I could give Bare Betty more stars I would. I have been coming to Robin for a few years now and I have never left disappointed. She is so talented in what she does - my brazilians/underarms are painless and she is great at cleaning up my stubborn hairs (I have MANY!). Since the pandemic, Robin does a very thorough job with cleaning & sanitation. She strongly follows protocol and knows she is no exception to covid rules. You can feel the love and commitment she has made in creating a clean, welcoming and relaxing space. On top of all her services, she also has great products! Whether its a face mask, body scrub or body oil...she makes sure that all products are sustainable and natural! She is great with communication and scheduling. I can go on and on!! I have found my skin gal for life! Thank you, Robin! read more

It's easy to make an appt on schedulicity. She gives you a reminder. She is always on time or will let you know. She is inside sola Salon right off the freeway. She is very sanitary quick and no more painful than expected. Her prices are fair. And easy through her iPad. I highly Recommend her. read more

Thanks to Robin my eyebrows look fantastic. She is very careful cleaning and disinfecting all her tools. She spent time going over my brows and discussing what I want. She's a real pro at her job. Also, I have been to her for bikini waxes. She makes her clients feel welcome and never rushed. Great studio too. Couldn't be happier, I would highly recommend her! read more

Robin is so good at what she does! After a very bad eyebrow experience years ago, I've been skeptical when trying new people since. Robin was welcoming, listened to all of my concerns and exceeded my expectations. My eyebrows came out perfect and I will definitely be returning. read more

I came in and waited for someone to greet me. There was no one to be found! Instead, I heard two girls chatting about their day. I waited for 5 minutes. And When the wax aesthetician came out with the client, I was completely ignored even though I was right next to them. I thought she would say something to me since you know I was right next to the check out table where she sat. But nope, nothing. Her client left after checking out and I thought it was finally the time when I would get acknowledged! Nope, she immediately left to talk to her coworker somewhere else. I understand it's appointment only after looking at this yelp page. It would have been more helpful if one of them told me this instead of completely ignoring me. Did they not see me or what? Kind of impossible. read more

I went to Robyn for waxing yesterday. Her work is incredibly clean, professional, comfortable, and knowledgable. I felt very well taken care of. Robyn was able to give me advise on skin care as well as a couple of products to look into for troubled skin. I really appreciated the time she took explaining the products she was using on me. I cannot think of any drawbacks to my experience at the Bare Betty and will definitely be going back. I strongly recommend going to see Robyn for all waxing needs. Nothing quite like putting your trust in a true professional when it comes to something like hair removal. read more

This is the second time come back to see Robin!! Her service is amazing, the place is clean and relaxing. I booked for eyebrow clean up, and I really love it. I will definitely come back!! read more

The Bare Betty - Eyebrows clean up!! My skin has little reaction but she added some treatment for me, so it would be gone soon hehe. - Waxing Near Me - San Ramon, California

Three years ago, I met Robin at the Bare Betty in CV. Previously, I was terrified after a bad experience at European Wax center but Robin took care of me better than anyone else. She is professional, very funny and ultimately SUPER hygienic. Fast forward, I have been seeing Robin every 5-6 weeks for a quick, painless (YES PAINLESS!) Brazilian and eyebrow wax. She has recently moved to San Ramon and I, along with several others have followed her here. Robin takes pride in her work and ensures that every client is happy and comfortable. She is a fantastic esthetician and I highly recommend her to all who visit. read more

Another two years later, I believe that makes a total of 5 now...and I'm still team Robin. Her work is meticulous. I had constant reoccurring ingrown hairs but Robin has fixed that. I am hairy by genetics and never knew what it felt like to be hairless on my upper thigh but because of Robin I can wear short shorts with my head held high. If you haven't experienced the magnificent work, you're missing out. Recommend that you book your appointments in advance so you get in because it's summer and we all want to look good. read more

If you're looking to a) have an amazing Brazilian experience in the East Bay, and b) support a new and awesome local business, then look no further than Bare Betty in Castro Valley. Robin is a FANTASTIC esthetician. I first met her a couple of years ago when she was still waxing with Cat at Waxcraft, and I was impressed with her technique then. She's only gotten better. Her technique is as painless as waxing can be and she is totally great at getting you to relax through the whole process (a must if you're a waxing newbie). She's very thorough and works hard to make sure that you're happy with your results, even coming back with tweezers so no stray hair escapes! You really do get a bare betty ;) Do yourself a favor and pamper yourself with a visit to Robin! read more

I've been coming to the bare Betty for probably about 2 years now. Robin is beyond professional & I am always happy with the service she provides. Her prices are fare & she is well worth the visit. She is very meticulous when doing a brow wax- I won't see anyone else. read more

I was going on a month long trip and didn't want to have to worry about upkeep. I booked a brazilian and proceeded to panic about how much pain I was going to be in (especially because it was right before that time of the month which is supposed to be the most sensitive) Well - I made sure to drink alot of water leading up to it, took two advil an hour before and thanks to Robin's expertise it was fast and pretty painless! (breathing and relaxing your body reallly helps) Robin is the best, and I will never go back to shaving! read more

I highly recommend this salon! I've never been a waxing regular, but I will be now!! Had my eyebrows and a brazilian done by the owner, Robin. She is amazing! Super friendly, personably and knowledgable. She really cares about what she does and the quality of her work - and it shows! I've already booked my next appointment. read more

I've been back once already for a second lash perm and I have my third appointment booked for next week. The lash perm lasts even longer than I thought. I wait almost 8 weeks between perms! Yes, by then it is quite a bit less curly...but still not as straight as they are naturally, they have a nice little flip at the ends. I'm going to keep coming back here, the lash perms are so worth it to me. read more

Robin is the best! She is a great waxer and a perfectionist in her craft. She also sells high quality sugar scrubs that work great pre and post wax. If you are looking for a new waxer, check Robin out. Just fyi- there is a no men & small children policy. read more

I've been going here for years, even before it was the Bare Betty only because Robin is amazing at waxing! Her style is definitely unique. I honestly do not see myself going to anyone else for waxing. She is professional and friendly! Great local business for waxing and I would definitely recommend others to go here! I will continue to come here for as long as I can! read more

I am fairly new to the San Ramon-Dublin area. I was in need of a new "brow person" to tame my mildly overgrown brows. I came across The Bare Betty. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I was a bit apprehensive going to a new person to do my brows as I've had the same brow person for several years. Robin was very friendly and welcoming! She was VERY gentle, which is not something I had experienced before with waxing. She made it painless. I was thankful she understood my concerns and she did a fantastic job on my brows. Thank you Robin, for fixing me up! You've just gained a new fan! Look forward to booking again with you soon! read more

Are you new to the world of waxing? Then Robin is your gal. Affordable and thoughtful service is what you get as soon as you walk in. Upon arrival you will see a reception area with amazing sugars scrubs and hear some trendy music. In the waiting area there is cold water (spiked with lemon or cucumber) or a warm drink of your choice. Simple, clean, and hip, you will not meet a man or hear children playing. It is a great place to just exhale and take a minute. Robin is professional and likes to have a great session. She has even modified her work table to be super comfy. I do recommend the step stool when going for the approach to get on the comfy table. Brows to the Bare Betty, Robin rocks it! read more

Always professional with her work and very clean , I love coming here because I always leave satisfied with no complaints!

This is my 3rd time getting a Brazilian but first time with Robin at Bare Betty. The end result was fantastic but do yourself a favor and don't come if you're fully grown out and/or pregnant. It will hurt a lot even if she tries to be gentle. She was very professional and thorough. At first I wasn't sure why she allotted 45 minutes but she did take the entire time, maybe even more. She alternated between soft and hard wax depending on the area, purpose, and pain level. The facility is super clean. You're in a private room that's sort of in the front but no one else should be around. She gives you a cleansing wipe to start out with, you undress, she does her work, she applies calming cream, you dress, and that's it! She doesn't rush you and the experience is as easy as pulling hairs out can be. read more

Robin is the best! I will only go to her. Her shop is clean. She always has current knowledge on skin treatments. The product she uses before and after completely stops the sting. It doesn't even hurt during or after. If your skin is reactive she will customize the treatment for your skin type. read more

I was referred to Robin after my Brazilian appointment was cancelled right before a trip. I was extremely nervous at first but immediately felt at ease when I met Robin. Her space is super cute, clean and organized. My appointment was longer than anticipated but I know why. Robin is meticulous and very gentle. I always dread my waxes due to the pain however this waxing experience was so different. At first I was cynical at the thought of a "gentle" waxing session but in all honesty, this was the least painful waxing experience! She uses different waxes and does small patches at a time which I believe help. It might take a little longer but a good conversation coupled with care certainly helped. Skip the waxing chains, make an appointment with Robin and get the full service treatment that you deserve!! read more

Went in last week for the first time to Bare Betty. Its tucked away next to The Village shopping area in Castro Valley, kind of like a hidden gem -- if you will. Driving into the private parking lot, signs of other businesses surround it but walk through the court yard and off to the left you'll see the entrance. Upon entering the shop, there is a set up to be greeter by a receptionist but instead i was welcomed by the esthetician and owner of the shop, Robin. Robin is a very warm and friendly person, showed me around the shop which is a very trendy decorated space with a waiting room for all her clients who come in for either lash extensions or waxing services. *by the way, there are two lash technicians available for appointments Robin then directed me towards her wax room. The room has an elevated bed for clients to lay on while receiving their wax services. very sanitary comfortable and with a heating pad to keep the body nice an cozy. Off to the right of the bed, each piece of equipment Robin uses it out and displayed on a dresser center piece and it is all organized and clean. She does NOT DOUBLE DIP. She uses a combination of soft and hard wax during the service, uses an ice pack in between strips when applicable and her clients receive a nice hot towel to freshen up and wipe down at their discretion. During my visit, Robin briefly explained her background and experience. She told me that she wants her shop to be a place for women, which it very much is. its comfortable and intimate, kind of like a "girls night out" vibe. Robin is just really a cool person and hospitable. She even gave me a free sample of a freshly made sugar scrub to use on my skin. overall, my experience with Robin was nothing short of professional and friendly, I will become a regular at Bare Betty soon. read more

The Bare Betty is a great place to get waxed in the east bay. Robin is clean, very professional not invasive at all, and takes her time to do it correctly. What I also love about Robin, is the fact that although Brazilians are going to hurt, she makes it so it doesn't hurt as much and I really appreciate that. Scheduling is very easy, you can schedule 24 hours and her availability is pretty open during the week. Thank you Robin for providing good service and making me feel comfortable. read more

Robin is hands down the best waxer. She is very educated and knows her stuff. She pays very close attention to detail. She makes waxing very comfortable. I have been seeing Robyn for over 4 years, and she is awesome. After going to a new place every two weeks I came to Robyn and never looked back! The best Waxer I have ever found. I have been going to Robin for many many years now and even though she has moved I have definitely had to follow her because there is no one out there like her. She is a master at her craft and is so detailed! I don't even have to double check to see if she left hair behind. :) read more

I've been going to Robin for almost 2 years now and she's the best! She really knows what she's doing and is super knowledgeable about skin care. I was really scared to get waxed the first time, so many people had told me they only went once because it was so painful. However, Robin was so awesome! She really does know how to minimize the pain and I've been going back ever since! I highly recommend her services, especially for new waxers! read more

Very cute shop, very clean, and you can make your appointments online. Thank you Robin! read more

Robin is incredible! I started going to Robin for eyebrows after having a few not so stellar experiences with other places. She was the very first person to ask me how I wanted my eyebrows to look, which seems like a no-brainer to me. She also does my brazilians (and a couple of other services), and I can honestly say that she is the best at what she does. She's incredibly patient, gentle, meticulous (not a single hair left down there EVERY SINGLE TIME), knowledgeable, has the best products, and is so easy to talk to! It's obvious that Robin cares about her clients and about her work. :) read more

Let me start off by saying that Robin is the best waxer for me and she definitely takes care of her clients! I started coming here in 2012 when it was originally Waxcraft and saw both Cat and Robin for my Brazilian and eventually transitioned over to Robin. I went about 2 years without seeing her due to health issues but I am glad to be back and now with Robin as the new owner (and new name/place) I couldn't be much happier! She's great! read more

Robin was very professional, knowledgeable, quick and efficient. I highly recommend Robin for your waxing needs. I had a Brazilian and it was hardly painful at all. Robin is very thorough and even took her time to go in with tweezers and remove shorter/ingrown hairs. The Bare Betty is a little hidden from the street but it makes for better privacy. It's a very clean/modern salon which is always a plus in my book. read more
