The lady recommended I get a wax being that I only wanted to clean the area because I do have micro shading on my brows. When I walked out, I looked and there was still some hair that she did not clean up and missed. I didn't feel like going back because I was in a rush that day. For the price I paid I expected neat clean brows. I won't be going back.

If your face isn't hairy, and your hair is extremely tame and requires little to no maintenance then this just might work for you. not me. Even though I requested only eyebrow threading, I realized that I wanted to do sideburn threading as well, and she accommodated me with no issue. However, it was only when I left the salon and already halfway home when I realized she completely missed some huge patches on my cheeks, so it looked very strange. Unfortunately, neither me or the lady doing my threading realized this, even after I looked in the mirror and examined it closely, maybe the lighting in there just isn't good because it seemed obvious after I left, but inside it was really hard to tell that something was wrong. As for the shampoo and blowout, it wasn't outright terrible but for the price I would've expected something better than what I could've done myself, and I did not receive that. The blowout technique was some of the strangest I had ever seen. The person doing my hair was being pretty rough with my hair, it wasn't overly painful but the way they were doing it was definitely not healthy for my hair. Additionally, I asked them to take care of the frizz at the top of my head, and instead of taking care of it, they said that they couldn't do anything about it. That response was extremely strange, considering I was the same ethnicity as the staff and I assumed that they would have some experience with people of my hair texture. I guess I was wrong. When I get threading done, I expect a thorough job and when I get a blowout, I expect beautiful frizz free hair, and my experience fell short of my expectations, unfortunately. i won't be back.

I was shopping next door at the lamp store in March 2015 when noticed this Salon so casually, walked over and took a flyer for this place. I came back in about 2 weeks with an appointment and got waxing, threading and facial bleach done. I came back feeling lovely, satisfied and pampered knowing that somebody understands the same perfection and care that I like for myself. Not only, the beautician checked to make sure that any hair were left but also I was given ample time to go over and check for myself. The wax is very good and ultra smooth, leaves skin very soft and supple unlike many others that are harsh and rip skin off of moisture. Anu is a thorough professional and has good customer service skills. She is very passionate about her art and enjoys taking care of her clients. And gladly so, she has trained her girls similarly. They all take time and enjoy practicing this art with excellence. I have continued to go there since March at different hours by appointment or otherwise but each time I felt I wasn't treated differently. I experienced excellent quality work both at busy hours and otherwise. Anu will never want to make money off you by throwing recommendations but is honest. I encountered a situation as an onlooker when a lady came in for a hair style without a shampoo and Anu was very honest and clear that it wouldn't be to her perfection if her hair weren't clean. The lady seemed to be pretty frustrated but Anu was very calm and professional. Recently, I went for a facial and as expected it was very relaxing too! I would highly recommend this local business and request yelpers to definitely try out her services to experience for yourself and support her!! read more

I'm a fairly new resident to San Ramon and was just waiting for my Mom to get eyebrows done so we can get on to some important errands. I never would of thought I'd be purchasing natural acne skin care and getting awesome tips for my skin. Let me tell you, this Aloe Vera and Cinnamon Gel face wash plus an additional tea tree soothing night gel really works!!! I've noticed my skin feels and looks a lot better and the acne is going away so quickly in a natural way!! No more over the counter stuff I took your advice and bought tea tree oil from Sprouts i use every night Anu was so helpful and really knowledgeable of her products. She really took care of my Moms brows and I'm glad that she really took the time to get to know us and gave us wonderful hospitality. I have been coming to Anu's beautique for almost a year now and I have always been happy with their services. The place gives a sort of spa feeling... with its welcoming and clean ambience. The ladies here are charming, hardworking and thoroughly professional. Always wear smile and polite when they treat customers. I am very happy with their threading, henna and facial services. Though all the ladies here are skilful I made special bond with Rashmi.... she is skilful, knows her work very well and always make sure her work comes out near perfect. The owner of the place Anu is very caring and makes all her recipes for facial and henna from scratch. Her special ingredients makes big difference in the overall results. I tried her a handmade henna for hair and her special potato mask for removing tan on my face. Both of them work out great for me. My 17 year old daughter and I went to Anu's today. I had my eyebrows threaded and my my upper lip waxed by Rashmi, and she's great! Super careful and efficient, and my eyebrows look awesome! For my daughter, she had a full legs, full arms, and underarms waxing all done by Rashmi as well. My daughter loved the experience. Rashmi was focused and really cared to make it the best. She explained all the ways to sooth the skin afterwards since it was my daughter's first waxing and she developed rashes because of that and her sensitive skin. That was what our appointments were for, but at the last minute per request, Ann cut my daughter's hair as well (without appointment) with precision and efficiency. She absolutely loved the cut, and Ann listened to all her requests and concerns. Overall, the place and its employees are amazing, super accommodating, and kind. Highly recommend! read more

This is my first time using Yelp and I'm writing this review because Anu's Beautique is an absolute 5 star gem! I have been going to Anu's for over 4 years now and i have only have good things to say. She is been in business from quite a long time and she knows what she does. Always been amazed of her hard work and her attitude to go above and beyond to satisfy her customers. So glad i found a place with home made wax. I have very sensitive skin and her home made wax is just the thing i needed. The list doesn't stop there, she always has fruit facial, beets henna etc I have tried threading in couple of different places after she moved to Dublin but was never happy. Everyone that has helped me at Anu's Beautique has been very friendly and listens to my needs. The place is clean and I personally love the décor. Anu's beautique is AMAZING! I was in Dublin for a business trip for the first time and I need a pedicure badly. Julie did an awesome job on my feet. While Julie massaged my legs and feet, I fell asleep in the massaging chair, and they let me sleep (they must of noticed how tired I was).. Then I got my eyebrows threaded and she (don't remember her name) did a good job (a little thinner than I like but the shape was great) Next, I got a henna ( for the first time in my life). Anu make homemade henna! The color came out great amd it left my hair super shinny and soft. Anu called the next day to check up on me to see how I liked the henna. I went back a few days later to get my hair washed and straightened (by Anu). Anu has amazing customer service, she is friendly and helpful! I always go to Anu's for my eyebrows, all of her employees always make me feel so welcomed and always do a great job on my brows! This is my 8th time visiting and I WILL be coming back again!! I get my eyebrows threaded and it's usually about $9 which is really good because most eyebrow places around here are around $12-$15 plus they always do a great job! I highly recommend going to Anu's or seeing anyone in the beautique if you want nice clean cut brows. I've already recommended her to all my friends and they have all agreed they had very well experiences with the ladies and services and of course their eyebrows + Her salon is very clean and kept very nice so you don't have to worry about any bacteria being on your face because they're constantly washing their hands! I have experienced a great beautician in 20 years in this country. Just came back home after pampering myself with a diamond fruit massage facial by Anu. She has great knack for massaging and her eyebrow shaping is just so awesome! The part that particularly impressed me is the hygiene in her beauty salon. Spic and span...clean and fresh towels, tools etc. Anu mentioned to me that her facial pack is organic home made fruit pack. Her wax is made at home, the chocolate wax. Really very impressed! I have been regularly going to Anu's Beautique in Dublin for the past four years for my threading and waxing needs. The service i have received from Jassi, Jyothi, Rashmi and others has always been professional, caring and friendly. I always take a prior appointment, so I have never had to wait as Anu's is fairly busy. Even during busy evenings or weekends, they don't keep customers waiting for too long, has been my experience. The premises are maintained very clean and polished. Highly recommend their henna services as well. Anu, the owner is also very friendly and professional and always checks up on everyone and asks for feedback. I find that quality to be of service. I was there last week for full waxing and threading. Looks like there was a miscommunication because although I had booked an appointment, they did not have my name in there when I went. However, Monica was very kind and agreed to complete my waxing and threading when I told her I have an infant at home and cannot wait too long. She did a great job and did not rush, although she had only 5 minutes left for lunch before her next appointment! A big thanks to Monica Cons : The staff who work there change often and sometimes this results in inconsistent service levels. I used to be a regular few years ago, but the parlor had employed newbies and they would botch up the job. Things have improved now, but I am yet to get great quality during all my visits. read more

I moved to San Ramon year and a half ago. One of my aquaintances introduced Anu's boutique. I was a little apprehensive before my first visit because I did not get great responses upon inquiring about threading services around in DUB-SR. But look what happened, every visit I made to the boutique sent me back with a happy smile. Anu is excellent in her service and treats her customers very well. She is tuned to reaching perfection all the time I observed and she has trained her staff very well. I would put very good words for Anu and her staff and definitely recommend this. My daughters and i stopped by this place last Saturday to have eyebrow threading done. I am impressed by the meticulous quality of eyebrow shaping done by Swapna! Unlike other threading salons, when I requested "not too thin" eyebrows, Swapna listened and carefully cleaned up and shaped them while preserving the thickness. My youngest daughter was hesitant to get threaded because she had a bad and painful threading experience at another salon. However, Swapna made her feel very comfortable and threaded her without pain, making sure to stop very so often to ask how my daughter was doing and did not rush it at all. My daughter was very happy! We will definitely be back to Anu's to see Swapna!! read more

NO ONE SHOULD GET A HAIRCUT AT THIS PLACE!!! I asked for a simple trim with bangs and what i go was a messy haircut that now makes me look like a complete clown. The lady who cut my hair sprayed water on my hair, made a pony of it with her hands and just cut a whole portion of it. And it gets worse. She let it down and it was completely uneven. She then proceeded to cut some portions of the hair only to make them shorter than the longer portion. As for the bangs, she took some of my hair in her hands and chopped it to half its length. WTF?! I am no hair professional but I know that is not how they cut bangs. The final product was much much much worse than my initial hairstyle. read more

I was referred to this place by one of my friend. Got my facial, henna and pedicure done here, place is very clean and facial rooms are spacious, very soothing music and excellent customer service. Most importantly this place is one stop shop for me, I go to 3 different places for threading/waxing/ facial, pedicure and haircut/ henna, don't have to do that anymore. I am making Anu's my regular stop for grooming. Anu is vey nice and friendly. Swapna who did my facial and henna is very good and checks frequently if I was comfortable, gave my post care tips. I have already given my feedback / recommendations on our community whatsapp group, definitely worth every penny!! read more

Thank you Yelpers, new to this area and was looking for a Beauty Salon. Anu's was an awesome experience. The services I went for - Facial and Henna on the Hair. Threading came as a package. Monica was awesome, I enjoyed the relaxing setup of the facial room and also the amazing massage. Henna service is a tad expensive I think but worth it as it takes away the pain of doing it yourself at home :). The threading was perfect. I have been going to Anu's since October 2015 for henna. It covers my gray hair and has kept it shiny and healthy. I like the color as well. I have received compliments about my hair being long and healthy. Initially Anu, recommended that I go for henna every 3 weeks then monthly. On my first time, Anu even went to the other store nearby to get me clove oil to use after rinsing. Anu has been very friendly and checks how work is being done by her employees if she is unable to do it herself. I have recommended this place to friends as well. read more

Today was my second time at Anu's Beautique. I was looking for natural Henna for my hair, one without chemicals. I was very happy with the herbal Henna Hair treatment they provided me my first time here, I decided to come back again today. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the place is clean and well-maintained. Ranjanaji helped me out last time so well, so I was glad to avail her services today as well. Rashmi always does such a great job at threading for me! She really takes her time to make sure that she does a job well done and that there is not even one small hair left which I appreciate very much. I also feel no pain when she does it. Pavitra and Sheela have also done threading for me recently and they did a fantastic job as well. Everyone here really cares about their customers and makes sure that they do it perfectly every time. I usually get my eyebrows threaded here by Moniky. Today, I went in for leg and full bikini waxing - which she did as well. I let her know it was my first time and that I was doing so because I'm pregnant and can't reach certain places anymore. She was incredibly patient, being my pain tolerance has lowered so much she took her time. She also was sweet enough to make not laying on my stomach work. Overall, great experience. I'm glad she was the one to walk me through my first time waxing my lower body. Highly recommend! read more
