- Extremely Poor Customer Service I am very disappointed with my experience at Threads Beauty Bar. I called Priti (P-R-I-T-I) the receptionist at 1:00 PM to ask if the threading specialist I like was available. She told me yes, the specialist was available today and also tomorrow. I explained that I live an hour and a half away and specifically drive out for this particular service provider because she does great work. Priti said that was fine and told me there were no appointments scheduled, so I could come in anytime. At 2:35 PM, I called back to confirm that I would be coming and asked if there was an appointment available. She said they had an opening at 3:15 PM. I said that would work. She then abruptly hung up without taking my name or confirming anything. When I arrived and parked, I called back because I realized she had never taken my name to hold the 3:15 appointment. I had my seven-year-old daughter with me, who is sick, so I wanted to be sure the appointment was secured before bringing her inside. Priti told me she could not put my name down unless I physically came into the salon. I did not understand why my name could not simply be written down over the phone, especially since she was the one who hung up without confirming details. Then she started to say, show me your car .. I will come out to see you in your car so I know you are here. I got frustrated because why would I want anyone to see my car when I'm trying to give her my name for the appointment?! She said she doesn't believe me that I'm here and calling to put my name on the time, I was so confused! The situation escalated unnecessarily. Instead of resolving it professionally, she involved someone named Neil, who told me they would not service me and that I had to leave. For someone who drives 1.5-2 hours specifically for their services, this level of rudeness and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. Clear communication and basic courtesy would have prevented this entire situation. Unfortunately, due to the poor and dismissive customer service, I will not be returning. I will also report this to the business bureau. read more

If you're ever gotten your eyebrows threaded then you know how nerve wracking it can be to go to a new place. In town to visit and needed to get an eyebrow clean up, my cousin recommended this place and figured why not give it a try. Walked in and was pleasantly surprised at how big it was inside and all the services they offer. I was really really disappointed in Threads today. I come here often because it's local, cheap, and usually the people who work here do a good job at threading my eyebrows. Today, it was completely different. The woman who threaded me I have never had before, but she was as sweet as could be. But this review isn't about how nice this woman was, it is about how she ruined my eyebrows. I have never in my entire life had someone mess up my eyebrows to this extent. I told her not too thin and to just clean them up. I knew something was off from the jump because she was being INCREDIBLY rough. Threading hurts, but this HURT. I didn't let it phase me though and just stuck through it. Once she was done.. wow. They were uneven, she missed a lot of hair, did not clean up ANYTHING, and even took a ton of my skin off the point where I was bleeding. I am not sensitive to threading; I have never bled before. My eyebrows were a DISASTER. They looked better before I came in.... After I went to the register to pay. The woman at the front asked how it was and saw my face, saw my eyebrows, and knew right away that this woman messed up big time. She didn't make me pay even though I fully intended on paying for my eyebrows. I am so disappointed and saddened. I'm also still in pain almost 10 hours later. read more

Threading hurts!!! Big time! Why would anyone want to prolong the pain like they do with waxing. I won't be getting threading any more. Also, threading should be way cheaper than waxing. Think about how much all of the wax and other supplies that waxing requires. And it's expensive. Now think about how much supplies are needed for threading. I came in to get my eyebrows done for the first time here. The lady who did my eyebrows didn't do such a great job. She didn't mess up on my eyebrows but she didn't clean it up enough. I won't come here again to get my eyebrows threaded! 12 bucks is not worth for the kind of threading she did. Prices are ridiculously high. I came here for hair curls and simple hair style. They charged me 110$. I always go to Anu Parlour for hair style. Max they charge 60$ and they go great job. I said the same to front office lady who is billing, she not listening instead she is asking should they add more for tip. I added the picture of what they did. I was not at all good. I had to modify a lot to look that day for my baby birthday party. And 110$ for this too much. Also, I saw in their website showing curls charge 35$. I don't understand how did they charge me 110$. Don't go to this Salon. I got my hair coloring done in this salon last month, I was in hurry as I was travelling two days later. I was told that the hair stylist would analyze my hair and recommend if it needs a full or root coloring, the stylist never asked me analyzed, that seemed like an alien word to her and started coloring, looks like she just did the root coloring, after coming home I noticed that all the greys were Awfully showing up, I am calling them to get an appointment, I was told that the Stylist who did the hair coloring is sick (having fever and cold, so isn't available). They have only one hair coloring person, so it was super easy for them to refuse a follow up appointment to fix the Mess. I was so annoyed and helpless. I went to a different Salon, paid again and invested my time there despite my trip schedule. I won't be returning here, they have very poor communication between themselves and doesn't seem to care for their customers. Waste of time and Money. read more

I'm a commuted customer to threads! Been going here for years. Nothing beats the ease of just walking in and out to get my eyebrows threaded. They're all really good at it and leave my eyebrows looking full instead of overdone. Vishnu (sorry if I misspelled that) did a great job on this most recent visit so I may just starting looking out for her, but really they're all good and have never had any issues with any of the employees' work. I've been a customer here for nearly 10 years with no complaint until today. I went in today for an eyebrow threading and was told that they are under new management and the package I purchased months ago was no longer valid. I had 8 threadings left! there was no expiration at the time of purchase, and it is illegal to collect money for a service that is not provided. I will be pursuing a refund via my credit card company and also reporting this to the Beater Business Bureau and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. I can't believe I didn't discover this place until recently. Only a few miles away from my place, I'm super excited I found a COVID-safe business that provides quality facials. Booking an appointment was super easy. And the response time was quick. When you arrive at the salon, they take your temperature and you are screened for COVID. I received a detox facial including extractions from Chetna. She was super friendly and knows her stuff. Good price for a 50 min facial as well. I would definitely come back! read more

Three years later and I am still loving this place! One of my favorite things is that all of the people that work here are awesome and are great at shaping eyebrows. This is great because I never worry about making an appointment for a particular person. The cleaning cream they use after threading is nice and helps keep my skin from turning bright red. This means I can go in my lunch break and nobody knows! Fridays at lunch can get busy so come a little early or a little bit later than the lunch hour. Today is all about new front desk attendant " Samantha or Sam , as of I know her name from one of the person working there , extremely inattentive behavior towards clients queries and unwelcoming behavior about being responsible front desk attendant for such a wonderful business place I called on threads beauty bar on Thursday 12th august for making an appointment with the specific person I want to get the services done , because I am getting my eyebrows done by Neeta ( very welcoming nature and very good at doing eyebrows, with whom I am going for last 4 years ) & Lily ( for waxing , as she does it best ) so I called the business and ask front desk attendant if both of them are working on that day , and Sam replied I can't get wax done as I was getting close to there closing times ,so only eyebrows can be done and she inform me Neeta is working on specific day so I can come and get done , when I reach she replied me Neeta isn't working today , upon asking her ' than why did you say on phone she is in ?' She lied and tell no you didn't call us , and I didn't attend any call in last hour for any appointments!!! Than I took next day's appointment for 2:30 with my name and phone number , when I reach there she said I didn't make any appointment for today !!! And I am just walking in and will be attended in only that manner !!! Absolutely unacceptable behavior and not taking accountability for her mistake of not making appointment when client was giving her information!!!! If this review had been for Chetna , Neeta , this business or lily I would probably go above and beyond and would give 7 stars for their service efficiency and welcoming behavior! Today I was pretty disappointed after I allowed someone new thread my eyebrows. I typically request Bishnu since she is their best threader and she pays attention to detail. I called in and they said that Bishnu would be there but when I came in she had to leave early and was unavailable. I think I learned my lesson after today to not let others touch my brows. My eyebrow lady had made a cut to my skin while threading. In addition, she had the audacity to pull out tweezers towards the end of threading my brows. I was totally shook since it was a threading place and I try to avoid tweezers at all cost. She did a lousy job and I felt rushed through the whole process. She left a bunch of hair and left my eyebrows uneven. I had to tell her about 5 times to fix some areas that she missed. I probably wouldn't return here unless Bishnu was doing my brows.
