I have had bad experiences with European Wax Center in the past, more times than I'd like to. But they are just the most convenient location wise and making appointments. I had moved to Pleasanton and was fearful of having to find a new waxer. I decided to give it a try and I ended up with a waxer named Katie. & let me tell you, this girl is a GEM! Her professionalism is elite, and she's gentle and quick with her waxes. Something about her technique makes it pretty painless. She's very thorough and pays attention to detail which I truly appreciate! Because many times, waxers get lazy. I've been seeing Katie for almost a year now and she's really one of the best waxers I've experienced. And I've been getting waxed for over a decade now. PLUS she's very kind and sweet, the ambiance she provides when she's waxing is top tier. She matches your vibes/ preference. There's some days I want to chat and some days I don't and she catches on quickly. She's really just fantastic everyone! If you find yourself wanting to try this location, try Katie. You will not be disappointed!! She's one of the best!! I do want to shout out Yvonne as well. Katie was not available one of the days I had a wax scheduled. Usually I'd wait for my waxer for another day, but this was before a holiday and I needed it done. If your face isn't hairy, and your hair is extremely tame and requires little to no maintenance then this just might work for you. not me. Even though I requested only eyebrow threading, I realized that I wanted to do sideburn threading as well, and she accommodated me with no issue. However, it was only when I left the salon and already halfway home when I realized she completely missed some huge patches on my cheeks, so it looked very strange. Unfortunately, neither me or the lady doing my threading realized this, even after I looked in the mirror and examined it closely, maybe the lighting in there just isn't good because it seemed obvious after I left, but inside it was really hard to tell that something was wrong. As for the shampoo and blowout, it wasn't outright terrible but for the price I would've expected something better than what I could've done myself, and I did not receive that. The blowout technique was some of the strangest I had ever seen. The person doing my hair was being pretty rough with my hair, it wasn't overly painful but the way they were doing it was definitely not healthy for my hair. Additionally, I asked them to take care of the frizz at the top of my head, and instead of taking care of it, they said that they couldn't do anything about it. That response was extremely strange, considering I was the same ethnicity as the staff and I assumed that they would have some experience with people of my hair texture. I guess I was wrong. When I get threading done, I expect a thorough job and when I get a blowout, I expect beautiful frizz free hair, and my experience fell short of my expectations, unfortunately. i won't be back.

Shweta who attended to me was knowledgeable and listened to my skin concerns before customizing the treatment according to my needs. After the facial it left my skin feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, and glowing. I must say, my skin looked and felt better than ever before. Shweta was gentle and constantly made sure that I was comfortable throughout the session. The products used during the treatment were of high quality and I could see the difference it made to my skin. They also provided me with aftercare recommendations which have helped to maintain the results of the treatment even after I left. I was very happy that the shop was open on Thanksgiving day the owner Preet greeted me with a great smile and did my eyebrows the best eyebrows ever done on my face. The shop was very clean and perfect atmosphere and I only told her after I paid that I hav e my own salon in New Delhi India. I took few pictures going to implement couple of good ideas in my salon. If you are reading this to see the rating of the service then this is more than 5 star service. I am a regular customer to this Salon Since a year now and never had any complains. Manpreet is Awesome and friendly. This is THE ONLY place for me for facial and threading since I have been to this place first time. They have a superb service with very reasonable charge. I have also been to several other places before coming here but never had such a excellent service.They are fantastic at what they do.The place is clean as well. I found Preet through mutual friends, and the first time I went to her to rescue my caterpillar brows, the woman did her thing. Here I am 5 years later still running to her for help with my hairy face, haha. She's honestly the nicest softest lady, and she's perfect at doing what she does. Her hands and thread are always so gentle and caring. I did move to Florida a couple of years back and I honestly didn't find anybody who does justice to my brows as Preet does. She does a great job for a fantastic price. After I get my brows done I cannot stop admiring them in the mirror. After a couple bad threading experiences at other salons (one that left me with line-thin brows) I was hesitant to try again. Manpreet, however, listens to and understand what I want with my brows, and consistently does a great job. The price is good, parking is easy, and the service is great. I'm especially partial to the aloe gel that is used after threading, because of it I've never gotten any irritation. read more

Preet Brows is an amazing place to get your brows done. Ever since I've gotten my eyebrows done by her, I've ALWAYS ONLY gone to her. This is because I HONESTLY trust her work. I went to this Preet Eyebrows next to 711 Store at Valley Avenue I was greeted by Preet herself and she was very nice talked to me about my latest trip and fixed my eyebrows which were really screwed up by somebody in Dublin. Her hands were soft and light and she did my eyebrows in a very remarkable way. I never felt that kind of soft touch by getting eyebrows by threading since waxing gives me skin rashes. I work in the area so I usually stop by for eyebrow threading before going home. The staff here is so so sweet and efficient! I have never needed to specifically request my brows to be a certain way, but I always always see how patient they are to listen to there customers on how they want their brow shape to be etc. they give very honest and realistic feed back, which I think is great. I have been to Unique eyebrows quite a few times now and each time my experience has been more than satisfactory. Manpreet is very sweet and courteous . She is never in a hurry to finish her job. I didn't get my threader's name, but she was sweet! I asked her if she can try to match my left brow to my right brow. I know brows aren't identical twins, more so like distant cousins, but it would be nice for them to look like siblings at least. She took her time to match them up as much as she can. In all, I think I would go back! It's close enough to work where I could go quickly on my lunch break. They're decently priced. And they're efficient!
