I used to only do pedicures, which always lasted forever with zero chipping, but over the last few months I've started doing a Gel-X + dip combo with cat eye and I'm obsessed. I have never had a successful gel manicure that didn't lift within a week... until Vee. Whatever her technique is, these nails are staying on unless you literally break one. Vee is super friendly and chatty, and personally I love that. I genuinely enjoy our time every visit and it never feels rushed or awkward. The studio is in her home, but it's completely separate and downstairs -- just the garage and her nail space. It's all pink, pretty, private, and zen, and she always plays great music. It truly does not feel like you're in someone's house at all. One thing to note: this is a one-person business, so timing matters. I'm disappointed. Poor quality, poor service. She wasn't attentive to the details. It seemed that she was rushing through it, not being very attentive to her work. Did not clean up the back side of the nails after e-filing it, leaving the dust pieces on and then curing it. Gel x extensions were applied crooked on almost all of the fingers, they were not lined up. Some of them are sticking up! The design art was terrible. I will not be going back. Wasted my money on this place which was in her own home which was not shared after I booked. This should have been shared prior to booking. read more

I've only had great experiences with Vee. She's done my nails several times and is so good at what she does. I always love the outcome and the gel-x lasts so long when she does them. I also got a gel pedicure in May and it's lasted 2 months so far, the color hasn't budged! For my gel-x manicures, I could go over a month but never have because I don't love the new nail growth, but my nails never chip or break - and I'm pretty hard on my nails/hands!
