I got my nails done by Minh and I can't recommend her enough! She's amazing, super sweet, and her attention to detail is impeccable. I got gel x done and the experience was amazing! She was super gentle when prepping and took her time doing the artwork (thanks for the inspiration from another yelper). I would highly recommend if you're looking for a new nail tech!
Tammy did my gel polish and she was so gentle and meticulous. I really appreciated that she asked if I liked what she did after every step, because I know some friends go home from other salons completely unhappy and with nails so different from the inspo pic, but Tammy MADE SURE mine was perfect! Loved the vibe of the salon too- lots of ladies openly chatting and I usually feel dizzy after leaving salons from how strong the polishes smell, but RYU was well ventilated and didn't smell nearly as strong.
I absolutely loved RYU nail bar! As someone who's been wearing press ons for years, they reignited my love for nail art and design. I shared inspo pics of what I wanted and they took the time to really get it right. Pedicure was amazing also! Amazing service and really cute inside too! Can't wait to go back!
Minh Minh and her team always do an amazing job at RYU. I really want to shine some light on her & her staff for handling a challenging situation that happened Saturday 12/20 with such grace and professionalism. There was a customer who was beyond unhappy with their service. Instead of Minh Minh getting upset she was calm & listened carefully to resolve the issue. It was impressive to watch her and her staff maintain composure to make sure the customer was heard. Even when the dissatisfied customer was making a scene in front the whole salon. The staff did not act aggressive or rude when handling this tough situation. Regardless of witnessing this altercation. Loyal clients at RYU have class & respect. From my Gel-X to now Builder Gel manicures. YES the green cat-eye is my natural nail length due to builder gel ! The quality and salon service is IMPECCABLE! It's a great establishment to RELAX & DESTRESS! Can't wait for my next set

I moved to Dublin about a year ago and, ever since, I've been driving all the way to Union City because I couldn't find a local nail tech I truly trusted. After what felt like an endless search, I finally found my girl! Not only is Minh talented, but she also took her time to make sure everything was perfect. The salon itself is clean, welcoming, and has a relaxing atmosphere. If you're looking for someone who can consistently deliver beautiful, high-quality nails, I highly recommend booking with Minh at RYU Nail Bar. I'll definitely be coming back!
Stopped here to get my gel x removed. Did not have an appointment and found it because it was close to my place, and they were so nice! They were able to squeeze me in and took great care of my nails. She was very precise with her polish placement and took the time to make sure my nails looked good. The place was cute, and the prices were reasonable! They even gave me a little gift bag for the holidays. Will definitely be coming back here in the future!
I usually request Kimmy but my daughter's and I have had services from many of the employees here and Its been great. Everyone is warm and inviting. Kimmy is great at helping pick colors and has done a few designs. She likes trying new styles. I'm loving my most recent builder gel set.
My gel nails weren't quite as good this time around. My left hand had a lot of bubbling and cracking (see pic from right out of the salon). Still a very clean, relaxing environment and friendly service. But the mani wasn't quite as tidy as last time, which was disappointing.
My technician Natalie was very kind and walked me through all of my options before starting on my nails. She was very considerate, asking me if I liked my nails at every step of the way, and I love the way they turned out!!! I got gel-x with a design and they charged me $100 for the service, which is relatively cheaper than other salons in our area! I've gotten so many compliments on my nails, I love them! It was also very serene and welcoming inside, they offered me water and had tv playing! I'll definitely come back to Ryu for my next manicure :)
Thank you Janet and Tammy for the beautiful tropical vacay inspired nails!!! My daughters showed Janet and Tammy nail design images they found online and both ladies were able to make their nail designs a "dream come true"!!! Great job ladies
The set I received was alright, they had to switch me to a different Artisan because the other seemed to give up. I was much happier with the guy, he did amazing work. I say that Janet gave up, but now I wonder if she ran away. She got red nail polish all over my sleeve. When I reached out to the salon, they reimbursed me for dry cleaning, $7.77. The cleaners could not remove the stains. The Salon asked for information, brand, etc. I provided these. I don't have any other information, so they have decided to do nothing. Wear your grubbies, Janet might jack up your cute top. I paid over $180, but they can't cover a $30 top.
Second time! This time my nail tech, Tammy, did an amazing job with the Cat Eye nails I have been wanting to try! I thought it was going to be GelX nails again but she did acrylics/dip this time around. I am pretty quiet when it comes to getting my nails done as I use it as relaxation time and she did a great job I almost fell asleep LOL The magnetic process is super cool with the Cat Eye nails and it's so pretty! Next time I would get other colors done.

I only booked at Ryu Nail Bar because a friend's nails looked so good I couldn't stop staring. I'd been wanting to try medium-length almond tips for a while but felt nervous about going for it. I made an appointment with Minh Minh... and wow. I showed her a Pinterest photo of the look I wanted, and what she created was honestly better than the inspiration pic. Every time I've brought in new inspo since, she somehow makes it even prettier than I imagined. The whole space feels warm and welcoming, and it's decorated so beautifully. I can't recommend Minh Minh and Ryu Nail Bar enough! read more
my nails look a lot better from far away but up close i can very much see the imperfections and am pretty disappointed with the end result after leaving. what i got: - gel x fill (w. designs) $110 ($55 for fill + $55 for design) i forgot to ask her name bc im a nervous asshole but the lady did an exceptional job with the fill part. she really took her time to perfect the nails and i appreciated that she actually touched up underneath too. so many skip or forget about it and it's such a pet peeve of mine. with that said, i wish she had touched up on them at the end bc my nails feel like i have stuff stuck underneath and you can see in the picture how dirty they are. they were even worse before i took the pics but i was picking at them on my way home. the paint job is pretty sloppy too which was so surprising bc when i was watching her do them they looked a lot cleaner. very rigid-y and some bubbles. a few of my nails are bumpy and not smooth making them look textured. some of the tips are a lot wider than others as well. i had a 1:45 appointment and it wasn't super busy but when i left around 3:45 it was starting to fill up. i never have trouble finding parking in this little lot. im very sad that i dont like my nails and am leaving a 2 star review bc i did really like the vibes and the staff were so so nice but unfortunately the nails just were not it. read more

I've been looking for a place to do my nails, and my cousin highly recommended I go to RYU. The place has a good vibe, cozy, and super welcoming. I booked my appointment with Minh Minh, who my cousin swears by, and I get it now. She has a really warm personality, easy to talk to, made the whole appointment feel relaxed. I had a hydrangea nail art design in mind, and she delivered. The work was clean, detailed, and had some personal touches. Overall really solid experience. I'll be back. read more

The best nail salon experience so far. Natalie replicated a nail inspo to the tee. She's the artist!!! My mind was blown away. Tammy did mine. Elegant and pristine. I've been coming to Minh Minh for a while now and absolutely love her work! The salon is clean, and everyone is always really sweet. Minh Minh pays amazing attention to detail, she's so precise and her sets always come out clean, crisp and shaped PERFECTLY!!! She did my nails for my wedding. I opted for a classic french set and she got the pink base color I was going for just right. I wanted an elegant and timeless look and that's exactly what she gave me! And the set lasted about 2 months! I also got a cat eye set by Tammy and she did great! Tammy also does my mom's nails and they always come out beautiful. Thank you ladies! read more

I am not much for writing reviews, but this place deserves one. I just had one of the best nail bar experiences ever. The owners and staff are so kind. I love that it's a mother-daughter duo that own this place, and love supporting women-run business. They had donuts, sparkling waters, and gifts for customers for mothers' day: I left with a beautifully designed and curated gift bag with a very nice glass iced coffee cup with glass straw, and mini electric nail fan. Tammy did a builder gel mani for me with a neutral cat eye design . I've been doing dip for the last few years and she recommended it. I love it so much. Linh did a fantastic job on my gel pedicure and he gave a good massage too. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and get me the exact color and style I wanted and they even surprised me with a coffee from next door. I will definitely be back and bring friends and family in the future. Highly recommend. read more

Not sure how to express my gratitude to the RYU Nail Bar. It started with a phone call, inquiring if they accommodate someone with a disability and using a transport chair. The female on the other side of the phone, Sophia, with no hesitation, said "of course we can accommodate you!" Just then, an appointment reminder text for 4pm popped up on my phone. As soon as my husband pushed me in, friendly faces greeted us and made sure I was comfortable. Everyone there made adjustments and bent over backwards to assist me in being able to get my feet into the basin. Tears started flowing down my face as I couldn't believe that a nail shop would do all this for me. From Rose, who took care of my manicure, to Anne, who serviced my pedicure, they both were very sympathetic and crying with me the whole time I was there. My husband and I have called around to several shops, only to be told they are unable to accommodate or service clients in wheelchairs. RYU Nail Bar truly provides exceptional service and care to actually help me. Anne was such a sweetheart and we truly became close with the crew there. Thank you, Sophia, for saying YES in accommodating me. The whole salon, staff and atmosphere is about more than friendship, it's family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! read more

Absolutely loved my nails done by Janet!! RYU did well to accommodate me and I was able to be seen right away after scheduling a last minute appointment. Janet was attentive, detail oriented and made sure I loved my color before proceeding. My nails for my engagement photo shoot looked amazing!! Would definitely recommend and will definitely return in the future! read more
Called for an appt and was able to make an appt the next day. The new salon is very clean. I got my acrylics soaked off then painted with builder gel and gel. It looks so good, Tammy did great I definitely will come back for my other services. Great salon and service. Also Minh Minh is fabulous. read more

Worst service ever. I stopped by due to my hair salon being close by. Worst gel x and pedicure of my life. I am going on vacation in 2 days and have to figure out how I will fix this. My nails look like balloons and my pedicure was the most rushed ever I will have to go home and fix on my own. I showed the worker up front and she saw how messed up my nails were. Still charged me full price just said I can come back on Sunday. I leave on vacation I cannot come back Sunday. I will never return to RYU nor recommend it. read more
