The space looked clean and spacious with no fumes from nail il products. There were two women in the space with one customer getting her feet done. My daughter and I were ushered into two chairs with mechanical massages . One of the women started working on my daughter's feet, and out came another woman, Kim, started working on my feet. My feet were so bad, and she hauled out all sorts of fancy clippers, skin shaving devices etc to decrease the calloused ugliness and overgrown thick nails. Over a period of 40 minutes or so she transformed my overgrown ugly mess into two pretty feet with screaming green polish. I recommend this shop for anyone's feet in any shape. read more

I stopped in today without an appointment hoping for a pedicure. They were able to fit me in right away. It is a small but cute little place with massage chairs for your pedicure. I let the lady know that I had some blisters that were just healed (but delicate), and that I had bruises under my big toe nails (they were purple - too much walking in not the best shoes on a recent Disneyland trip!), and she was super gentle and careful. She did a great job and my toes look great. The pricing was very reasonable compared to other places I have been - I did just get a basic pedi this time but would return for gel when my feet are back to 100%. I came to her in an emergency after breaking a nail down to the nail bed (super painful) and even though she was booked and busy she still took time to fix my nail, do a complete fill, and impart some wisdom into my life. 5 star pedicure experience and only $27!! I've been coming here since high school and I'm about to graduate college. They aren't rushed or rough and always leave me looking clean and polished!! Never painful or bleeding etc. i came in today with a swollen ingrown toe, didn't know what to do at home about it, and the owner came in and swiftly took care of it. INSTANT RELIEF!! After over 4+ years as a customer I got two fungal infections. I noticed discoloration on my toenail when getting a pedi and the person doing my nails brushed it off. Couple weeks later I am removing polish and two nails lifted. I went to speak to the owner after I lost two toe nails and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I always use my own OPI polish when I go to nail salons and I figured maybe it was my polish getting years old, or having the polish on too long. Fast forward months later my nails are grown back, threw out all my polishes, and Christmas is here. Go get a pedi and bring my own brand new Essie polish. Only left my polish on for the recommended no more than two weeks. Discoloration is again on one of my toenails that I had previously lost. Just a warning to people always keep an eye out for any discoloration on your nails. I never had any issues with customer service or getting an appointment. read more

I just wrote a review for the place a couple of weeks ago, but I wanted to update again. I called and scheduled an appointment with MiMi and found out she no longer works there. So I scheduled with Mary. I went in to get a deluxe gel pedicure and deluxe manicure. Mary did an amazing job!! I like the natural looking French tip nails, but my middle finger nail on my right hand had broken off :.( so Mary had a solution. She added a fake tip on that finger and applied acrylic powder very thinly on each nail making it look so natural! I totally loved it! And I also tried the rock star powder for the first time on my ring fingers and toe nails! Amazing! *check out photo with orange flip flops* My bf came in to pick me up, we were getting ready to get on a flight to Miami,FL for a week. He loved the massaging chairs lol. I joked with him to get a pedicure but he said no! Eventually he caved because I made it look so relaxing lol and he loved it! As we were chit chatting, I mentioned to Mary that I had an appointment for Brazillian waxing at another place and she says she does it there as well. So I said why not? I'm already here. So I also wanted to review on that. She did an excellent job and charged way less than places I have gone to. To conclude, Mary took great care of us! Reg Mani is $12, Pedicure is $20, Set is $32. But I like the Luxor Spa Mani+Pedi $65. They have lots of products to go deeper care than just nail and coloring. My nails now are like a baby fresh! There were many choices to cover the Spa area - I definitely want to go back to try the skin care especially deep facial treatment. They have Micro-Dermabrasion 60min for $85, Enzyme Peel 40min for $60, Euro Facial 60min for $65 and their own facial set 60min for $75. I choose 4 colors, 2 for toe and 2 for fingers to experiment. I am a graphic designer so I like to play with colors. It came out great and I talked to the women (I forgot to get her name) and discuss the layers to make the color right. I came home a week ago to find my wife nearly crying in pain - she originally went in to have work done by one of the managers(possible co-owner?), to which my wife was referred to another woman (short, on the heavy side, darker skin Vietnamese appearing). This woman not only ground down my wife's beautiful natural nails (something she's taken pride for over the years, and has gotten many compliments), but she cut so close her fingers were bleeding. Not only that, she appeared completely unsympathetic AND suggested she get her eyebrows done! Mind you, she had just gotten them done! My wife is no sort of masochist and did not want to pay $20 for such abuse! If my wife were writing this review, it would be filled with much more pain and anger, but as a concerned husband, I seriously hope this employee does not still work there. This review is not to discredit Luxor nails, but it is to point out they have one very, very careless employee. My wife had been there two times before with satisfied results and conversation (with the woman who appeared to be either a manager or who had some sort of stake in the business), as they had conversed about business interested and the development of the salon/the salons she owns. I had went to their website and submitted this feedback, requesting an email to show them pictures, and have not received a response. My cuticles grow very quickly, and they both really took their time to make sure everything was cleaned up. The deluxe pedi was worth it for the added massage and products. I give Luxor Nails a 3, but Jenny did amazing so I put it as a 4. I can in at 5:20 on Sunday afternoon needing a mani/pedi. They were able to squeeze me in and I was truly grateful because I needed it! They sat me in a chair for 20 minutes while I wait for a technician, they didn't even turn on the bubbles, so I awkwardly just sat there with my feet in the water. Then Jenny came over and did the most awesome pedicure ever! The massage was beyond phenomenal, to the point where the lady next to me said that she really wanted a massages like mine. For my mani same thing, the most amazing massage and a great painting of my nails. At that time it was about 6:40pm and they closed at 6, but when I asked for glitter she was more than happy to do it and offered to add it to my toes too, but I get bad.
