Bummed- I made an appt for today for a fill. When I walked in the tech went to the owner to talk to her and then the owner came up to me to notify me that their prices have increased. It felt odd to be honest. A fill was previously $60 is now $70. They charge an extra $5 to file the nails at this appt so a fill base price is actually $75.. A full set was $80 is now $90. Based on the location and rude tone of both the owner and tech along with a mediocre job, you can 100% find better between Dublin, San Ramon, Danville or Pleasanton. read more

I stopped in today for a gel mani/pedi. I picked out my colors and wanted some sparkle so just explained to the ladies what I wanted. They were really helpful in showing me the different options for sparkle and making sure that I liked the colors that i had chosen. The massage felt great and I was able to relax and enjoy while they made my fingers and toes beautiful. They were fast and efficient - one lady did my pedicure while the other did my manicure. Came for a mani/pedi recently. They charged $60 for the spa mani/pedi and $10 for french tip which is higher than the price posted most recently in pictures 2 months ago... that surprised me. The woman who did my pedicure seemed to be in a hurry by saying okay sit down I have another person after you, which took me aback. She also was not the most gentle with my pedicure. The woman who did my manicure was more friendly. However when I got home, I had to refile a few of my nails because they were getting caught on my clothes. Seems like she did not file them well after cutting my nails. There's plenty of parking which is great. The salon is small, so not so good for groups. The place is clean which is also great - they use disposable napkins instead of towels. It's awesome that they take Apple Pay and tap to pay on a portable machine, so you don't have to reach into your wallet if you don't want to! read more

Super nice ladies! I think she did really well. The gel was a little thick for my liking but still looks nice from afar. It's always a win when I don't get cut but I did get nervous when she was filing under my nails. Had to pull back once. 4 stars because a gel manicure is $40 so how is this $100? That's not including tip. I thought that was too steep of a price.. I get that you need to pay the bills and stay afloat, but I don't think this was worth $100 because there are bubbles in the color of my right thumb. read more

Have been here 3 times and so far have been really happy with the results. I was a regular at another nail salon but after a few days always ended up with little shreds of skin from the cuticles peel back and occasionally cracks in the gel or chips after a week. That hasn't happened so far with my manicures at Rainbow Nail. Thankfully they are open late on weekdays so stopping by on my way home from work has been great. Finally found a nail salon that I am satisfied with. I am a real picky person when comes to hygiene. Service: friendly environment operating by Chinese ladies. No fancy spa (no scrubs or hot stone etc). Love the various of nail designs they offer. Free water and lollipops for customers in the front. Price: not the cheapest in town but very affordable. $30 gel manicure. No additional charge on mood-change nail polish. Cleanliness: pretty clean as a 9-month-old store. I saw they use plastic bag cover on pedicure tub (I didn't do pedicure). Also they use single-use nail puffer and file. My last gel nail that did at different salon didn't last 3 weeks. Second: I was getting a fill where I had acrylic powder she never asked or told me she uses gel instead of acrylic. Now my nails that were nice and flat now they are lumpy and stick in an upwards direction. The shape looks awful. Third: My pedicure was mediocre! No fancy pedicures here just BASIC AND QUICK! Today, I just got my nails done here and I absolutely loved them. The technicians were so nice and were super attentive to detail. They reshaped my nails with skill (before my appointment, each of my nails were growing in a different shape). I got the Gel Mani and a Spa Pedi and both were amazing and relaxing. The nail techs really spent time on crafting a great experience and made sure that you liked the shape, color, design, etc. In the past I've gone to a few salons where they tried to get your nails done as fast as possible leading to messy execution and a poor nail shape-- but this isn't the case AT ALL. They really take the time to groom your nails before even adding the polish. In terms of nail design/art, I showed my technician a picture of what I wanted and she copied it and I was very happy with the outcome. For COVID precautions, they have plastic screens in front and to the side of your spa chair. In general, I felt that the salon was very clean and well-kept. The ladies here really make sure that you have a relaxing manicure and pedicure. Overall, I had a great experience and I was very happy with my nails. I would 100% come back. read more

I came in early in the day so there was no wait for me. I had just cut all my nails the night before due to poor planning and just getting the urge to do my nails before a vacation trip. I rarely ever do my nails so I did splurge on getting a gel manicure with extensions and an acrylic pedicure. The whole process took about an hour and a half. They didn't have the exact colors shown in my example picture but did offer alternatives. I do wish the gem was smaller and more medially aligned but my fault for not speaking up! Otherwise, I am satisfied with my results and I appreciate how much time they took with building my nails.
