This salon came under new ownership about a year ago as it also underwent dramatic renovations. The salon is bright and cheery with modern decor, well organized and sanitized supplies, an impressive selection of colors, and friendly and efficient technicians. Their skills and attention to detail have always made my visit a treat to look forward to. They do a great job on the manual hand and foot massages that accompany regular treatments... just divine! It was the day before my wedding and realized I needed to do my nails. I told them that the last place I went to messed up my nails pretty badly and my nails were weak. They understood and recommended a manicure that would work. They also steered me away from the nails I asked for--my sisters are grateful because I'm always choosing designs inappropriate for the event. They helped me settle on ombré French with a little bit of glitter. We went right when they opened and everything was perfect. They made sure we got everything we needed. They went into super detail in our pedicure. Everything was marvelous! I wish I lived closer so that I could go more often! read more

Sophie , who calls herself manager and her team of girls - one is called "To" I believe and there is a younger, tall , lanky Asian girl and another older Asian woman who refers this Sophie as her "sister" in broken English are a bunch of criminals . I went there for mani pedi .. for every little thing , their answer was NO , they can't do it or it would cost extra !! What was worse was I had to call 911 to come out of this place since they trapped me and was not letting me leave even though I paid . After the cops came , I was rescued . I have been going to this place for over two years and even longer, before they changed ownership. I didn't have another place I know so I visited here for so long. I did like the quality of the nails I got until they hired this new girl. I don't know her name but she wears glasses and probably the youngest girly there. She did my pedicure recently. I came home and found it had a cut and had blood dried up around my big toe. When I tried to clean it up it opened up the cut and kept on bleeding for awhile which was scary! That made me so worried that I didn't want to get another pedicure even tho the gel nail polishes were slowly coming off. My feet looked bad with scattered nail polishes but the thought of bleeding toe or even infections were scary enough for me to wait. Then she also did my manicure two weeks ago. Like I said I have been going to this place for two years, I know the quality of their nail polish. This time with her, the polishes start to crack and peel after 10 days. That is very fast and very poor quality imo. I used to be able to hold off doing my manicure whenever I feel my nails are outgrown. With her technique I had to get it done around 2 weeks mark. Very unsatisfied with the results. Another reason I gave two stars is because, the ladies here are all relatively young. There are moments they always talk to each other in Vietnamese and it's not in a tone of chatting to each other. I'm talking about when they talk to each other as soon as a customer ask for something different than what they were offering. Let's say someone asked about prices and if they felt it was too high, asked for why so much. The girls would answer them in English but immediately after, they went to speak Vietnamese and laughing about it. Like it is just not a good feeling being their customer feeling like you can't ask or speak for things without the feeling of they might make fun or talk smack about you. The girl with blonde hair and skinny is very good at what she does, technique wise, But, she has a very mean attitude! (One time I wanted to try a color and she gave you the whole, gosh wait to be indecisive look ) There were so many times i had a question, she was always very rude about it. She answers in a tone that made you feel like a parent is lecturing a child or worse, an attitude of making fun of your stupid question. I think only the owner was very nice and polite when I asked about anything. Last but not least, the price, it was okay but not the best. One time I spoke to another patron who was using her gift certificate and she too felt the same way. Their price was a bit high based on the service you get. $ 50 manicure for cleaning up cuticle and add polish. If you want other type of polishes like chrome or cat eyes etc, it's always an add on cost. This place looks clean and has new lightings and seatings but the service was just not friendly. This is the second time I have come to the nail salon with my daughter. I really love the quality care they provide. It's located in a shopping center and you can park in front. They have a great reasonable prices, for my seven-year-old daughter they charged five dollars for a color change and five dollars for a nail design. I saw this place on Yelp and judging on the reviews I decided to give it a try. I walked in and the environment was very clean and organized. You can tell the owner takes pride on her business. I've been searching for a place that does good pedicures. I tried a few places and this nail salon is definitely the place I'll be retuning to :) . I wish I knew the name of the young lady who did my pedicure, she did such a good job. She took her time and was very thorough. She scrubbed my feet for over 10 minutes! She knew exactly what she was doing . I walked in with dry feet and due to her work I walked out with beautiful moisturized feet. Called to see if I could squeeze in a quick pedicure and was told I could come in right away. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked to choose my color from a set of books. Loved this system versus having to go through the clipped collection of unorganized colors that other salons have. I didn't realize until I sat in the chair that the name of the salon was no longer Stoneridge Nails. I quickly learned that this place is under new ownership - starting this week! Very happy with my pedicure. She did a great job and wasn't rushing. Very sanitary procedures and very relaxing! The place was remodeled with new fancy chairs with great massage options too! Actually the most insane nail salon I've been to. First they accidentally cut one of my natural nails after I've set clear instructions on how I want my nails to be. I have short nails on one hand and medium length almond on the other. Mind you these are my natural nails. I hate how they scrape the gel off your nails. I asked if they could soak it off instead and was met with a big fat no. After those two instances I don't know why I didn't leave. I gave them another chance to redeem themselves. But I just couldn't after struggling to tell them the simple French tip I wanted, where the sides go up higher. Also for some reason my nail beds would have a slight burn when curing. I have never experienced that degree of burn on my nails bed before. In the end they still charged me $40. $40 for what service ??? Besides removal and a clear coat on my natural nails. Not even forgetting about accidentally trimming off one of my almond shaped nail. That's just crazy. read more
