I've been getting my nails done here for about 5 months now and the work is always exceptional. I like to use chrome, and they are always so patient with me while I try the different chrome colors. They've even sampled a color combination on a fake nail for me to make sure it was what I wanted before we started on my nails. The quality of work, service, and environment are excellent. read more

The service was quick and efficient. I like that they are right on the strip of Main St. bae and I just came here to drop our son off at the Alameda County Fair to be with his friends and we had some margarita couple blocks down and came here for a feet retreat. Reasonable price at $35 for their Traditional Pedicure, for gel it is an additional $15. I guess I am going with regular. Kim was my girl. Love the foot and leg massage. Went with Hot Pink for our uncanny summer heat. It won't last long but I'll do my best to maintain it. They were pretty full when we were already seated, not much conversation going on. English is very limited. However i do notice if you aren't a regular or Asian, you won't be spoken too. They sometimes prefer catering to others, that's just the real truth. It doesn't bother me. You'll know if they are talking about you or not. lol It was fun for both bae and I to actually sit by side to get our pedicure and cuticles cleaned. read more

Came here at the recommendation of my aunt who lives nearby. They were pretty busy on a weekend but seemed to accommodate everyone well and efficiently without making me feel rushed. I had builder gel on for the first time and didn't know that it needed to be filled / treated differently than a regular gel manicure but they switched manicurists and she explained what that meant and took a lot of care with my nails. She also recommended chrome which I loved without too much of a price increase. The pedicure was also well done. It was a nice relaxing experience! Will be going there anytime in the area read more

My friend recommended me to come to Orchidee and I'm so glad i gave them a try. I called in the morning and they said they could take me in right away. I got the TAP overlay gel manicure. I've been coming to this salon for years, but today's visit will be my last. As soon as the nail technician put on the last stroke of polish, I was ushered out of the chair, given the crazy pedicure flip flops and had to pay. I paid the tip through Zelle and the tech asked why I didn't have cash. She sighed and walked away. I honestly regret giving her a generous tip. The previous visit the salon's wifi went out so the credit card machines didn't work. I was lectured about how I should not pay with a credit card. Since the new owners have been at the salon, customer service has suffered. read more

I got the gel pedicure with reflexology, it was $84 (with 20% tip). The service was exceptional, her hands felt good on my legs and feet. I'd come again and I highly recommend. read more

We went to Orchidee a few days before my sister's wedding to get gel Mani Pedi's. We had a reservation for 4 PM and were sat immediately. They were very careful to make sure we liked our colors and shape of our nails. The best part was that the massages wSO THOROUGH. Overall a really positive experience however a star off because I told them that I was allergic to fragrances, they said they'd check the oil, and then proceeded to use fragranced oils. I usually bring my own but we came from out of state so hoping I don't break out before the wedding. read more

Just fantastic! Lily, Hong and Sarah were great! All were extremely nice and professionals. My husband and I went to get pedis and we were both treated amazing. As soon as we walked in we felt the amazing atmosphere and we were offered a drink. Phong has an amazing attitude and customer service. Very nice customer service. The music was relaxing and the salon looked clean overall. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. They look great. The massages were real massages, very strong, not a rub like most places. I also got my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. It looks good but I think I might be allergic or the wax was too hot. I have small irritated bumps in the areas that were waxed. I thought it was unusual that they didn't give me the option to tip. If I added correctly, they rolled in a 10% tip in my total credit card charge. Perhaps they anticipated that I didn't have cash ‍ read more

We were able to make a reservation for two gel manicures easily by phone on Saturday afternoon. There was no wait when we arrived, in fact the place was empty. We were handed a single ring each (they were duplicates of one another) with an extremely limited selection of gel colors. We inquired at least three times whether these were all of the available colors and were told it was. At the very end, when they were out of the color my friend chose from the limited selection, they brought out a whole other selection of colors... it turned out there was another ring with more colors, this other ring was closer to the colors I was looking for ... my nails were already done by this time. I still cannot figure out why those colors were hidden and not shared with us. I am still confused and disappointed by this because I settled for the color I have and would have picked from the other samples. Another major issue was that the woman doing my friends nails was barely cutting any of her cuticles. We had to ask several times for them to be addressed better. Ultimately, the girl doing my nails had to take over my friends once mine were done. Also, be careful when they out the hot towel on your hand at the end. It was VERY hot, to the point where I pulled my hand back but still left with a red hand. Giving two stars instead of one because the length and shape of my nails is good and the girl doing my nails did get all of my cuticles really well. The gel polish is done ok, however I suspect in a week or so it will need maintenance because of the way it is applied in the corners/sides. read more

Payment was declined from the salon systems own error. Nothing to do with lacking of funds. My payment was through Apple Pay. The staff member took my payment and it was declined on their end, but when I looked at my wallet on Apple Pay, the money was showing as withdrawn. Where did the money go if I did not pay them? Did it disappear to thin air? The staff did not want to believe me, even though I could hear the staff expressing how slow the Wi-Fi was throughout my appointment. Even though I had shown proof that my money was showing as deducted. After figuring things out, I still did not get an apology for all the judgment and the criticism nor did I get the owner's information like I had requested so that I can express my concerns to him as a first time customer .. I would not be going there if I didn't have the money to pay for these services plus I left my nail tech a $20 regardless of the pain and suffering I experienced here. I will not be coming back to this nail spa. I asked to speak to the owner because of the and response that I got was that the owner is "working". I don't care that the owner is working. I don't care if he's on vacation. I was planning on coming back here for future visits , but I will take my business elsewhere. Fix your Wi-Fi, fix your staffs attitudes. Learn how to properly process Apple payments from now on. read more

MEN, you may get looks from the customers when you walk in (which prompted me to call some of them out for staring) but the nail technicians don't blink an eye. Decided I wanted to get my nails done and called to check if they had any availability 15 minutes from when I called which they did. I arrived and noticed that the place was clean and had a relaxing vibe. Lily did my nails. She took her time with the prep and was quite efficient especially with the design I requested. Takes a certain finesse to draw these thin lines and she has it. Lily was so nice too. All the ladies were nice actually. They all came over and complimented my nails when Lily was done. I was excited to be able to get a nail appointment the day after Christmas. I think the name of the lady who did my nails was Lillie. She did a great job from start to finish. She tried the new tap gel which has a non toxic base. I appreciated she took her time when shaping my nails and checked that each nail was even and straight! Wow, just WOW! First of all, I'd like to comment on how incredibly sweet and friendly all the staff are here. They got me in a chair right away and we got into a conversation about my valentines plans and cracked jokes with each other. They were just the sweetest!! I got a mani/pedi and callous treatment, plus a design on my nails all for $100, which I think is more than reasonable. The salt scrub felt amazing and they just went on and on and on with the best leg massage I've ever had!! I was there for maybe and hour and a half, where I was treated with massage for almost the entire time! They even gave me a neck and shoulder massage that had me melting like butter. Seriously, I'd so much rather come here than a massage studio, they did amazing!! They also gave me a nice hot cup of green tea to enjoy while my feet and legs were being generously massaged! My nails are adorable and look fantastic, perfect for Valentine's Day! I cannot rant enough about how great this place is! I think this will be my new regular haunt. I highly recommend coming to this spa, as you'll be treated like a queen!! I feel great, look great, and almost 24 hours later, still smell great with all the creams and lotions they used on me! Also worth mentioning: Very clean and sanitary Great smelling Callus treatment did wonders for my dry, cracked feet I gave a large tip and recommend others do as well, since their prices are so reasonable and service so spectacular! read more

Great quality work. Nails lasted 2-4 weeks for TAP and cute new years design. Daughter did gels w star French tips, very cute. She plays volleyball and they stayed on about 2 weeks but that's due to her being quite active w the hands. Nice ladies. Parking was in the back and also street parking avail. Very busy but takes walk-ins. Better to make appt just in case. Very clean. Lots of colors. read more

I mentioned this before booking because I know most salons primarily work with gel polish. The receptionist confirmed they could accommodate my request, although they had a limited selection of regular polish colors. She even offered to text me photos of the available colors, which she did. During our conversation, I explained that I have contact dermatitis, which is why I normally choose regular nail polish instead of gel. Even after I explained this, I felt I was repeatedly encouraged to switch to gel. I even said that if regular polish truly wasn't an option, I would consider trying gel despite my concerns. Instead of honoring the appointment they had already agreed to, I received a message stating they would not provide the service because of my contact dermatitis and that they would be refusing service altogether. I completely respect a business's right to decline services for safety or liability reasons. However, what I found disappointing was that my appointment was initially accepted after I clearly explained I wanted regular polish, only for the decision to change after I disclosed my medical condition. I would have appreciated clear communication from the beginning rather than being led to believe the appointment was confirmed.

Four days later my the gel had already chipped, which was incredibly frustrating considering I paid $120.... **One week later** I was in the shower washing my hair and the gel polish kept getting stuck on my hair, I'm not kidding when I say I took the nails off like it was stickers... Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the services I received. It has taken me a while to write this review because I was busy caring for my dog, who sadly has since passed away. I made my appointment online and they were able to get me in right away. The salon itself is beautiful and has a high-end appearance, and the receptionist was friendly. Unfortunately, the quality of my services did not match the appearance or the prices. I received a Gel-X new set for $110 and a gel pedicure for $82. With the cash discount, I paid $183 before tip and over $200 total after tipping. The appointment also became uncomfortable because I repeatedly heard things like "that's extra," "this color is extra," and "that costs extra." I appreciate being informed about additional charges beforehand, but hearing it repeatedly made the experience feel more focused on upselling and money than providing a relaxing, high-quality service. For the premium prices being charged, I expected premium-quality work. Unfortunately, the problems started almost immediately. My appointment was August 6. I am attaching a photo taken August 7 at 7:11 PM, literally the next day, showing that the gel polish on my pedicure had already chipped/come off. An $82 gel pedicure should not be chipping one day after the service. I also needed acrylic sculpted onto a toenail I had previously lost. The pedicure technician seemed unsure how to do it and brought over acrylic nail tips. The technician doing my manicure actually had to stop working on my hands, tell the other technician no, and take over doing the acrylic on my toenail herself. Then my Gel-X manicure started lifting and the nails began popping off. My second photo is dated August 14 at 7:02 AM, only eight days after my appointment, and shows the lifting/separation. The Gel-X application was also messy underneath my nails, with excess product globbed up on the undersides. In my opinion, the extensions did not appear to have been properly sized or applied. After spending over $200 including tip, having my $82 gel pedicure chip the very next day and my $110 Gel-X manicure begin lifting and coming apart within days was incredibly disappointing. Maybe I happened to get inexperienced technicians that day -- I can't say. But based on my experience, I personally would not return. At this point, I am not interested in returning to have the services redone. I would simply like my money refunded. I don't feel comfortable giving the salon another opportunity to work on my nails after this experience. This was supposed to be a small moment of self-care during an incredibly difficult time while I was dealing with my dog's health. Instead, I spent over $200 on nails that began falling apart almost immediately. A beautiful, high-end-looking salon doesn't make up for poor-quality work. For the prices being charged here, I expected the quality and longevity of the services to match. Unfortunately, in my experience, they did not. The dated photos I'm attaching were taken August 7 and August 14 following my August 6 appointment. I think the timeline and photos speak for themselves.

I had such a frustrating pedicure experience at Orchidee. From the start, everything felt rushed. Kim began cutting and filing my toes without asking what shape I wanted, and the entire pedicure seemed to be over in about 15 minutes. The final result was honestly shocking. My toenails were uneven, different lengths and shapes, and the polish looked messy and unfinished. It simply did not look professionally done. What bothered me even more was how different my service seemed compared with the other customers, whose pedicures appeared much more relaxed and attentive. Mine felt rushed, cold, and dismissive. I cannot say for certain why I was treated differently, but as a Black woman, I would be dishonest if I said I did not wonder whether race may have played a role. I left embarrassed and extremely disappointed. For $50, I expected a much better pedicure than this. I would not recommend this salon for a pedicure, and I will never return. read more

This place deserves 5 stars!!! *100% Organic products, Made in USA (The owner showed us his products after we asked for) *Plastic liners each individual bowl (for sure I will not get any bacteria from plumping/jets bowl) *Organic Zoya nail polishes (i don't get high off the paint smell) *Fresh air & Clean (No Acrylic, no nasty smell) *Quiet atmosphere (if I weren't with friends, I would have taken a nap) *Brand new massage chairs, so powerful! *Customer service (the girls here are so nice and friendly) Also, they gave me a promoted reward card for free paraffin and $$ for next times. I have been seeking a nail place that does great nail art for a while. I decided to try this place based on yelp reviews and I am so happy I did! Lily did my nails and the amount of detail in the snowflakes and candy cane nails is incredible. She is truly an artist. She exceeded my expectations and found nail art examples better than what I found on Pinterest as I couldn't find exactly what I wanted before my appointment. She understood exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job. Overall, the staff here is amazing. They were able to schedule me and my daughter for the same day. Their prices are reasonable. I really enjoyed my treat out with my aunt at this pleasant organic salon. We enjoyed tea, and a long luxurious massage on our hands/arms and feet/legs. The massage chairs allow you to lean back and the foot bath doesn't push away when you kick back as they are connected to the chair. I tried the white chocolate deluxe mani/pedi. Smells great. Also peaceful atmosphere in a cozy spot on Main Street. The staff was very attentive and the shop and equipment are new. No fake nails here, so no chemical smells to tolerate. Enjoy! read more

Just had a fantastic manicure and pedicure here. I was skeptical about the salon being organic. I couldn't smell any chemicals. This is probably the cleanest nail salon in Pleasanton. Their sanitation practices are excellent. everything is for one time use. Foot massage given with pedicure is very good. Pricing is extremely reasonable.
