Besides the stone massage it was not worth the $35 pedicure. The feet were not scrubbed well. The feet were drier than before. The service time was very short. I would not consider this as pedicure but more of leg and feet massage with warm stones. read more

I have to agree, the hot stone massage was the best, but I'm not sure if this is the best place I've been too. I forgot the name of the lady that worked on my toes, but she was very, very meticulous when it came to tending to all the details of my pedi. That I enjoyed. I also enjoyed that they kept conversation with both me and between themselves to the minimal, that usually means there isn't a lot of smack talking going on! The cost itself was slightly higher as I paid $31 for getting a french pedi with a line design. Depending on how long this pedi lasts, I may have to had or remove a star. Still not my favorite location, but if I didn't want to go out to Tracy, I may just return. read more

I have been a costumer for many years and really enjoy going there. The shop is small, quiet and cozy. The conversations are kept to a minimum ( in all languages) so you can enjoy your relaxing time just listening to the nice, calm music and the peaceful sound of the water in the aquarium while your hands and toes are being pampered to perfection. I have been fortunate to have experienced different salons locally and internationally and have to admit I never had a better mani/ pedi than WENDY does at Town nails. She is amazing. All ladies are super friendly and nice and the place is very clean and well designed. It feels they really care and take pride in what they do. I've been going to town nails for 15 years now. What are the best nail shops in the East Bay. The owner Le is fluent in English makes you feel comfortable and works on your nails like she's working on an art masterpiece for van Gogh. Second best nail tech there is Wendy she's been with Le for probably about 15 years or longer. They are by appointment only very hard to just walk in unless it's mid week and mid day of the week. Would recommend Town Nails and have recommended Town Nails to many of my family and friends and none have been disappointed. I love Li. I've been going to her for years and she knows me so well. I don't always have the time to visit her these days but I'm so glad when I do come in. She's very reasonably priced! A spa pedicure for $28! She spends so much time massaging you and exfoliating your feet. Her polish always lasts me over a month. I love that this nail salon is always quiet. You know your feet look bad, when you husband notices and exclaims "wow! you need a pedicure!" I didn't mind because that meant he had to watch the girls and let me go get pampered :) I wasn't totally impressed w/the cleanliness of the place but I was desperate. I did like how they were open on Sunday :) So, I asked the difference between the pedicure options and decided to splurge on the deluxe. It was awesome!! They do the normal stuff but also you get an awesome leg massage!! They take you to the room in the back and give you a long (30 mins, 1 hr?? I am bumping this review up to 4 stars because I've discovered the key to a flawless mani pedi is to make sure you book with Lee (the owner). Jenny and Wendy also do ok jobs but after going back a few times, I have to say Lee is the best. She did a very thorough mani pedi for me last week at a very reasonable price, with short notice. She also repaired my smudged polish on several nails for free, after I rushed out the door without bothering to let them dry properly :D read more

This place was way pricey for the quality, $37 for mani/ped Thumbs down: 1. The place is very small 2. Nail files where not changed after every customer. 3. Pumis stones were reused and simply cleaned with the machine after each use 4. Their nail polish was old (polish was thick) and needed to be replaced 5. Implements used to cut cuticles were dull 6. While we are huge fans of Lee, Wendy and the other ladies, we have noticed that the TLC we received in the early years has waned. I stopped getting pedicures because of a horrible experience in Seattle, that ended with me seeing a podiatrist to correct the problem. It was with some trepidation that I went for another pedicure, but my sister was visiting and insisted. I left Town Nail with my feet intact, no doctor visit needed, and they do such a fabulous job. A week later my toes still look great, and I've been wearing flip flops all week. We got the hot stone special for 25 bucks, it was worth every penny. It says 45 min, but they took at least an hour. My sister got a flower painted on her big toes, it was really well done. I watched them clean the chairs when we were done, they do a thorough job. I'll be back! read more

I came here after reading the yelp reviews for a pedicure, and it was the best pedicure I've ever had (honestly!) at a decent price - only $25! I've been to some places where they do this puny scrub thing, but Town Nails gets all the gross stuff off, and believe me, there was plenty, since it's been about a month since my last pedicure (hey, I'm low on money...) It was about a 20 minute drive for me, but it was totally worth it. Everyone who worked there was very attentive to their clients' needs, and they were friendly while still letting me have my relaxation time. Definitely my new regular place! read more

I have been going this nail salon since 2003. It is now 2015. I've read that a lot of people give it a bad review because they only take cash or checks. So what? I DO think that this should be stated before services are rendered. But us regulars just know that we need cash. Their payment acceptance methods DO NOT have anything to do with their service. They are patient and helpful and if a mistake is made, it is corrected. The prices are great. The main service that I use are the Pedicures. For $25 they ALWAYS take approx 1 hour, which includes a foot and lower leg massage with hot rocks and foot reflexology. It's very quiet, with some quiet music playing and the chairs, although probably older, still give a KILLER massage. Since moving away and trying other salons, I now drive one hour to go to Town Nails. I also read some review where people say that the technician's were rude to them. I can't speak as to THEIR personal experiences but I can say that in all of the hours I've spent in that salon, I have seen the technicians fix many mistakes, gladly. No complaining at all. In fact, I've seen them take orders and deal with rude people who didn't deserve their patience, with friendly and calm behavior. No, the place isn't all upgraded and "fancy", but it's clean and I'd rather pay for a great job, than a fancy building. I'd definitely recommend it. read more

I went here with my bestie. I've never had my nails done but figured I might as well go all the way for my bf's brother's wedding and shelled out the cash for a mani/pedi. I told the ladies that I've never had my nails done and to let my friend order what I wanted - she gets her nails done regularly. However, this was the first time we went to this establishment. Pedi was nice. They gave hot stone massage and my French tips looks really good. Worth the 28 dollars. When it came time for the manicure, my friend told the ladies that we both wanted French tip with Shellac. They separated us and I just sat there reiterating that I wanted French tip. Did I get it? No. I got a pink color on my nails. Although it does look nice, it wasn't what I wanted. I told them it was supposed to be French tip and my friend came over and said the same thing. She just gave me the bill and told me that it was cash or check. W.T.F. There weren't any signs that said cash or check, nor did anyone tell us when we first asked. My friend's French tip was also messed up and uneven. We agreed to shell out the money for our nails and call it a day - we were there for almost 2 hours! All in all, the toes were nice the nails were adequate, and not what I wanted at all. I paid 55 dollars (after having to run to an ATM to get cash). Needless to say, I'd find another place to get my nails done!!! read more

I love this place . All the ladies are great but I love Lee. This was my first time getting my eyebrows down some where else in years. I was thoroughly pleased with them. I also got a gel fill which was cool BC she made sure to get the gel on the sides. The only thing I didn't like was I already had a French on and she didn't need to do anything color wise so I added a glitter line under my French and she still charged me $3 for the design. I mean really? But all in all me and my girls have blocked out the last 2 hours and they there at our call. Oh and don't forget the hot stone pedi. read more
