I have been coming to Town Nails for I want to say almost 12 years probably more! I will NOT go anywhere else but here to see Lee and her team. They are amazing and do exactly what you want. I have on several occasions forgot my check or cash and I can come back to pay. Cash only!! Who runs a business like that? I always carry around $40 for miscellaneous purchases. But, to expect that i have $60 + TIP is just not going to happen. I had to walk over to some liquor store ATM which was no working. Then, i went to gas station that did have Chase bank atm. I really enjoyed the mani/pedi, the colors were a little limited when I went. A lot of reds and pinks but nothing really in between. I was pleasantly surprised how quaint this place is and was very comfy. The air didn't reek of harsh nail chemicals which is always a plus since you don't want to get high when getting your nails done for an hour. The hot stone massage was SUPER! I have to say I am a sucker for great massages! The lady that worked on my feet, Lee, did an amazing job with my toes. I enjoyed the hot rock massage, (this was the first time I've had that type of massage) and would definitely return. You can't beat their prices, I got a pedicure & manicure as well as an eyebrow wax and payed less than $50. I would definitely return again. One thing I did not like was that I made an appointment with Lee for all of the services I was getting done and she only worked on my toes! I have to admit, I have cheated on this place quite a few times, but always go back to these ladies. I just feel like I get what I pay for here. The biggest seller, the stone massages. The ladies have good and bad days, but I always know I can get a nice foot rub. I just have to tell them exactly what I want and I feel like I can't complain as my feet feel so good when I am done. But it does explain why I cheat, they are like that boyfriend that treats you like crap, but you always go back to them... One of the best pedicures I have ever had! My friend told me about Town Nails and when she told me where it was located, I thought twice about going (the grimy Fitness 2000 shopping center??). The lady took her time to paint my French pedi and the massage was good too. They used hot stone which was really hot but it felt good after a few seconds. I was in and out of there in one hour. $28 bucks for French pedi with nice little massage. My French pedi lasted almost a month. The have good customer service too. The pedicure is amazing with the hot stone massage and they did a great job on my french tip, but in terms of gel, I was really unhappy. I got tips with a cute design on them, but there are so many cracks and airbubbles to be seen underneath the gel and for some reason dirt and other stuff will get caught between the tip and gel. I've never experienced a problem like this where the gel separates from the tip and after like 2 days my nails have already chipped. They do have great customer service though. read more

I have been coming here for 12 years, thanks to a recommendation of my friend, as well as a regular customer of theirs. The ladies do a fantastic job with pedicures and manicures. I always look forward to their hot stone massages to my legs. I look forward to going there every two weeks. This is my designated time for relaxation. I don't readily have time to relax. Their manicures also includes hand/arm massage. I see many ladies relaxing and falling asleep when they are taken care of there. WooHoo ... Town Nails is open for business, Ladies and Gentlemen, and I am oh-so-happy it is.! Lee has done the type of job you would expect from this highly professional woman ... clear barriers are up and moveable (my daughter and I did not need one between us), everything is spick and span (again, as usual), and Lee has every process down pat ... the timing, spacing, mask wearing. My toes didn't know the difference, they are still happy and beautiful ... but I want to say that after my first step inside when I was greeted with a warm virtual hug from across the room, my concerns were gone. I picked out my nail color and spent the rest of the time relaxing and feeling gratitude for the little things that come my way ... like Town Nails and the dedicated women who work there. Need a break? Need to remember what it is like to feel 'normal'? Grab your mask and celebrate that Town Nails is open. We did, and it felt great. Absolutely the WORST place ever! Went here because the place I usually go to was so busy and it was a HUGE mistake! Oh did I mention they make up their own prices? I went in for a mani/pedi and was charged $48??? I could understand that there was an extra $5 for French but seriously that much when I just got a regular mani/pedi. And they both did an awful job! I had to go to my regular mani shop and begged them to squeeze me in to have them fix my nails. I cannot believe Lee has these two women working here. read more

This place is awesome. A bit pricey, but fairly consistent and the foot rubs are so worth it! I've cheated in the past (only because they were booked) and found that nothing compares to their attention to detail and length of rub - the hot stones are a lovely added touch. I got a full set of acrylics and that did a really poor job. They filed my nails to far down and they were hurting and filed some of my skin. They also make you pay 5 dollars extra if you want them longer than your natural nail length. The price is still good, just not be quality read more

I agree with PK and Melissa's reviews. I used to go here all the time and love them. I guess the secret really is to get Lee or Steven. My Step Daughter & I Had a mani-pedi's yesterday. I Tipped decently before they finished our manicures. There were problems with Her Gel top coat and 3 nails smudged while she was being worked on. The manicurist tried to repair, and kept making it worse. There was nobody else in the place. The othe manicurests had their coats on already to leave for the evening. They rushed us out of the place 1/2 hour earlier than their published closing time. They told her to let them dry, and come back today. Understood - But I seriously thought they would right the situation today. Overnight most of the other nails ended up smudging, too. My step daughter lives in South San Jose, but she drove all the way out here again as was requested. They asked her to wait 25 minutes. OK.. If you were doing damage control, wouldn't you take care of the upset customer first? They told her they wouldn't redo all of the nails and my fiestly little gal stood up for herself and got a bit testy with them. They finally redid all her nails; but told her they wouldn't put the gel coat on. They didn't offer to refund, so she Had to ask for a refund of the extra money she paid for the Gel, and Yes, she did give them another tip today. BTW.... The pedi was good, but felt rushed. The hot stone massage is a novel idea. It could have been a unique offering that no other salon in the area does; but it wasn't so great. We both felt it was way too Rushed. They rubbed the stones too fast, too hard and too harsh on the bottom of the feet. The Stones were not very big, not very even, not very smooth, not very warm, and not very seasoned. For the past 7 years, my mom and I have gone to Town Nails as a little bit of bonding time. Each time we go, neither of us leave disappointed. Together, we've probably had all of their services done from acrylics, to pedis, to massages, and to waxing. They take their time with each customer and make sure you get more than what you're paying for. They are willing and can do any design you ask them to put on your nails or toes and normally last for at least 2 weeks. These ladies are the only ones I trust to wax my eye brows, even going to school in San Diego now, I make sure to get them waxed when I'm home.
