This is my go-to spot ever since I've moved to Dublin. The service is top tier. I get the signature pedicures as often as I can and occasionally gel manicures if there's a special occasions. They usually do my manicure while I'm getting the pedicure, so I don't have to be there too long. As a mom, that is one of the things I need the most - something fast! All of the staff is friendly and accommodating. The place is clean. Variety of colors is nice. Today I witnessed a difficult customer and they treated her with extreme patience and kindness even though she wasn't being very kind herself. The pastel polishes are my favorite! I even had my 6 years old with me and they decided to give no value to my time when another customer came an hr after me(3 of the folks were working on that lady). I really wanted to like this place since I just moved out here and was hoping to find a go-to nail salon for myself and my friends, but unfortunately this was not it. My pedicure felt extremely rushed, she only swept the scrub up and down once, didn't actually exfoliate my feet, and skipped lotion at the end. When I asked, she told me she already did lotion at the beginning of the pedicure, which made no sense. The whole time during my manicure and pedicure, she looked visibly annoyed, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. I never leave bad reviews, but I went in for a regular pedi and gel manicure. I left thinking they did an okay job with the manicure- the cuticles and edges weren't done well. A few days later the gel polish started lifting off on the edges . A week later they all peeled right off very easily, which has never happened to me before. I got a dip powder mani done on Sunday 2/11, today is Thursday 2/15 and it's already lifting.. I asked for brown French tips and the lines from the tips are all uneven and my index finger and pinky has thicker polish than the other nails. I've spoken up a few times about it being uneven and the lady seemed to get frustrated and didn't say anything the rest of the time she finished my nails... poor service from Thu. Mind you, I paid $80 for this manicure. Not coming back. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because I also received a gel pedicure. I'm the kind of woman that always has to have nails done. I've been this way for over 10 years. Throughout this time I've tried various different salons across Alameda and Contra Costa county. Some have great service, but lack expertise. Some have great expertise, but lack great service. It's really difficult to find the perfect balance of the best of both worlds in a nail salon in the Bay Area. TeaNails, has the perfect balance!! When you arrive, they promptly greet you and offer you something to drink, tea or water. (I have not seen many nail salons do this--what a way to make your customers feel special!) There is also a self service kiosk at the entrance to "check-in". Checking in gives the customer an opportunity to collect rewards points. (I've also never seen any other salon do this.) Let's be real--getting your nails done in 2024 is expensive, but having this option is definitely a great way to get redeem yourself from the cost of your next visit!! Tracy and her team at TeaNails always go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your nails. As a people pleaser myself, it's difficult to tell someone giving me a service that I need something changed or different. Working with Tracy makes it all so easy. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but my experience today at Tea Nails was absolutely awful and people deserve to know. I brought my two young daughters (6 and 8 years old) along with two friends for what was supposed to be a fun Mother's Day treat. I was told over the phone they offer kids' mini manicures and pedicures. When we arrived (on time), they rushed us into seats without any organization or basic courtesy. They grabbed my daughters without even asking me about their color choices -- and instead of the pink they wanted, they slapped on random cream and gold colors. No cleaning, no trimming, no care -- they barely even glanced at their nails. Then came my own manicure. I picked a beautiful Cinderella blue, but the service was a disaster. They didn't clean my cuticles, they rushed through the polish without even letting it dry properly, and they cut one of my nails painfully short. I was hurt three different times during the service. It felt like they just wanted to shove us out the door as quickly as possible. My friends were also extremely upset because they didn't get what they asked for either. To top it off, the price we were charged was nothing close to what's listed on their menu -- complete false advertising. While we were there, another poor customer was literally crying to her daughter, upset that they hadn't cleaned her nails either. Clearly, our bad experience wasn't just a one-off -- this place has serious problems. The staff was rude, careless, and completely unprofessional. When I politely asked to speak to a manager or someone in charge, they told me to leave! Unbelievable. If you care about your money, your time, and your sanity -- stay away from Tea Nails. I have never gone to this nail shop before but I decided to check it out. I went in and asked for a gel pedicure. Usually with gel pedicure, as you get a scrub, a good massage and lotion and cuticle oil put on, but it did not come with that and then when I did put the lotion on, the massage wasn't great. I think the lady was mad because I said I didn't wanna add on any scrubs or do an extra treatment. i've been to many other nail shops and they always have great service. I asked a lady to give me a square shape on my toes and she ended up cutting me a little bit and then asked if I was OK after doing it a second time. I got a set of glitter cat eyes today and it was $70 without tips. It was my first time getting my nails done at Tea Nails. I have a nail place in Pleasanton that I go to all the time but I wanted to try a new place. The lady who did my nails was very sweet and she really tried her best which was why I gave two stars. But it was just not good. I added some photos here. I didn't have any nail polish on before I visited them. The style I got was dipped, with a top coat of cat eyes. As you can see in the photos, the dipped nails overall were super thick, uneven and some polish even got on my cuticles. The cat eye effect was very unnoticeable. For $70 I was expecting at least a very clean look. I don't think I would visit this place again. read more

I've been coming to Tracy and her team at Tea Nails since they opened in 2015, and they have only improved over the years. I no longer live in Dublin, but will drive 30+ minutes to continue to get my nails here every month. Tracy and her team are on top of nails trends, deliver consistent quality and are always so friendly and accommodating. These women are like an extended family to me--and I cannot recommend them more! They introduced me to dip powder, and I have turned back. I definitely wish I was leaving a more positive review, but I am committed to sharing my honest review and experiences on this platform. I called ahead on Thurs., 12/21 for a same-day pedicure appointment and they said I can come in at 5pm. I arrived on time and they seated me immediately. Michael did my pedicure. He was very nice, but it was quite honestly the worst pedicure I've ever received. THE PEDICURE: I wish I could have filmed the service just to show how poorly it was done. He didn't clean, trim, or push back the cuticle area at all, did not clean under the nail, or scrub the nails as other places do. When he polished my nails, there was a big spot missing polish and I asked him to fix it. All he did was add massive layers of gel polish to try and cover it (I could still see it after). The massage was just okay. The entire service took 45 minutes--the quickest pedicure I've experienced. This was considered the "Spa Pedicure" described as a luxury service which didn't feel luxurious at all. THE PRICING: I opted for the "Spa Pedicure" which was $62. The service was not even close to being worth that amount. The gel polish was an additional $18 which is a scam because I did not even ask for gel polish - I was never given a choice. And why is this an $18 add-on? A full bottle of gel polish is less than $15! In total I paid $80 and I chose not to tip as this was not a tip-worthy service nor was it worth the $80 I was charged. They seem like nice people and is the only reason I'm giving more than one star. But unfortunately, I will not be a returning customer. read more

Had a long day and was in need of a pedicure. I called TEA Nails and they were able to take me right away. Parking was a bit sparse as they are located in a complex with multiple shops but I was able to snag one as someone was coming out. As I entered in, I enjoyed the relaxing music. The person who took me showed me my chair and started complaining how tired he was and then asked if I wanted to do a gel pedicure. I said no thanks, and then he said it lasts longer, and I said I'm ok thanks, and then he said are you sure? and I finally just said yes, I want to stick with just a pedicure. The pedicure itself was mediocre at best. He did not clean my cuticles and I had to keep asking him to go back to certain nails as it seemed like he was going through the motions but not actually doing anything. The massage was decent but it was more like putting lotion on my legs (no massage was done on the actual foot or toes). As he was wrapping up my pedicure he asked if I wanted a manicure, I said no thank you, and then he said "why? do you have to cook tonight?" I understand trying to upsell your customers but I had come to TEA Nails for a relaxing break. I was in and out in 15 minutes - usually pedicures that are $30+ take at least 30 minutes. Right when he finished, he let me know he was done and had me get out of the seat - not even let me sit for a few minutes to dry. Overall, 2 stars for the clean and calming atmosphere with the music but I will not be coming back here. read more

This review reflects my first return visit in 4 years which I will update after my nails cure completely and how well my dip set holds out after three weeks for an honest product opinion. Shop professionalism, cleanliness, and ambiance was very high in my rating. The salon was very clean and very well kept with products orderly and organized. Tracy was lovely and that's not a trait I would ever say I find with salon staff at most nail boutiques. Tracy was personable and remained alert checking on me whenever I looked up at her from the chair as she walked by and asked how I was doing if everything was okay and stopped to talk to me at length when I asked about the chrome colors. The salon vibe is truly relaxing and serene with harp music playing softly the entire time without the sometimes uncomfortable unprofessional chatter between nail techs during services. I'm not against coworkers talking amongst one another to check in but it's a more pleasant experience for patrons when your tech attempt to build rapport with you and tune into your experience. This was by far one of the most professional salons I have visited with the most spa-like environment. I found that I had visited 4years ago and recognized my mani photo by my wedding ring in one of the earliest pics on their yelp site. Why I didn't return baffles me, I wrote my original review on Michael's work - he did my dip nail set and again this visit as well. I honestly don't remember my visit years ago because the pedi wall looks completely different now and had been going to other salons where relatives and friends frequent then took a break at the height of the pandemic. I've returned to Tea nails arriving as a result of many bad experiences over these past two years post pandemic. The vibe was so welcoming, Tracy intook me, looked at my set and asked some initial questions while she examined and correctly identified the nail tips. I explained my disappointment with the set I had on -unevenness after curing, obvious lumps and inconsistent apex on several nails, plus the very undesired acrylic pinky nail that the previous tech tried to sneak onto me till I questioned her - see my last San Ramon review for the salon name. I did have to pay for acrylic removal and a little more for the chrome finish, but at least Tracy was transparent about the cost prior to adding chrome onto my service. She explained that I would come away with a more satisfactory product by utilizing the dip powder in the desired color and add finishing as opposed to clear dip with gel finishing --which is what they customarily do at Walnut Creek salon I stopped going to (hence the paint chipping easily after a couple days lacking an appropriate top coat among other notable things). Michael did a descent job in the gentle and careful removal, nail shaping, and careful application and shaping of new dip product. I look forward to my next visit. read more

There are always plenty of customers so making an appointment will help. I have gotten their signature pedicure twice and enjoyed the leg and foot scrub, massage and the wrap. Both dip powder nails and regular nail paint have come out pretty well. As with any other place, make sure you communicate and repeat the design you want or you may end up with slightly different outcome. When I pointed out she became visibly annoyed and continued with my manicure. She left so many skin gland and all the nails were different length and shape. Another lady had to take over and still made them all different. They cut all the length I had. They didn't clean cuticle which looks horrific. I stopped there and didn't get any nail polish. I was really looking forward to getting a pedicure at this salon. It comes highly recommended from friends and fellow Yelp-res. I made a reservation for 2pm on a Sunday. When I arrived I was asked to wait, I ended up waiting for nearly 20 minutes. I completely understand that things happen, but the reason I make an appointment is to be sure that I don't have to wait. I got the delux pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. I was shown the price for the deluxe pedicure, $60 - and I was happy to pay it. I paid $117 for my pedicure and eyebrows - and tip. When I asked why it came out to so much, she said you got gel. Here's the thing I never asked for gel. I was charged for the deluxe and gel. I assumed that the deluxe came with the gel option. I recognize that I should have asked first, but to just apply gel with no communication?? The eyebrow wax was mediocre at best. After my third time visiting the salon in less than a month. I can honestly review this nail shop and say - don't go! My first interaction went okay while I was in the nail shop. They did my manicure with dip powder with tips perfectly, my pedicure was beautiful. Then not even 2 days later. My gel on my toes were chipping! That's never happened to me as I can leave gel on without any problems for over 2 months on my toes. I went back and told them it chipped and they fixed it. Then - not even 6 days later my dip powder was lifting off my fingers. 4 nails were lifted and the rest I popped off. The nails didn't even last me a week! I went the second time a week later to do a full set again- another 60$, this time the lady tried upcharging me for getting "longer nails" I told her I got the same length as last time for only 60$. Then she matched it - it's crazy how I have to fight for them to keep the price the same. Those nails also only lasted me 10 days. 2 weeks later my gel on my toes are all chipped off. Here I am today on my third day getting my nails and toes re done, this time the guy was giving me so much attitude all because I asked how much longer "I have to be at a birthday party". He was laughing in my face the entire time and I didn't understand why, he was rudely and aggressively doing my nails. My pedicure that he charged 50$ and spend less than 5 minutes halfssing the gel on my toe nails with improper shaping ( one is round and one is square) and the color is uneven! Then I go to pay for my nails and notice my nail has a indentation in it!! (I attached a photo) What???
