I gave this salon multiple chances, and each experience was worse than the last. The owner/main lady is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and seems completely incapable of handling customer concerns without becoming argumentative. They messed up my appointment time not once, but twice. Instead of taking responsibility or making any effort to accommodate me, the owner immediately became defensive and argumentative. The second time was especially frustrating because I had an event to attend. Rather than acknowledging the possibility of a scheduling mistake, she repeatedly insisted that I had given a different time, even after I explained that the time she claimed made no sense because I wasn't available then. She continued arguing, refused to listen, and eventually walked away from me in an extremely disrespectful manner. To make matters worse, my first visit was a disappointment because the owner did a poor job on my nails. The only reason I gave this salon another chance was because Victoria did an excellent job during my second visit. Unfortunately, one talented employee cannot make up for terrible management and customer service. Their appointment process is outdated since there is no online booking system where clients can select their preferred technician. Everything has to go through the owner, and based on my experience, communication is a major issue. Even when mistakes are clearly made, there is no accountability--just excuses and arguments. Customer service starts at the top, and this salon's biggest problem is its owner. I will not be returning and would not recommend this business to anyone who expects professionalism, respect, or basic accountability. read more

The salon does not allow customers to select the manicurist at this location. The manager of this salon forces its customers to go to her employees that are not currently busy; that could be a good thing or a bad thing. I am the customer and I should be allowed to personally pick my manicurist based on past service. As a result if this I have taken my business elsewhere. read more

I really wanted to like this salon. I got 2 sets of acrylics that both didn't last 2 weeks. The sets looked good, but the integrity was clearly not there. The first set I had THREE broken nails before 1.5 weeks went by. The second set, different tech, and a nail broke opening a ziploc bag. I've never struggled with broken nails before, I get fill ins every 2 weeks and I'm a SAHW who works from a computer part time, I don't do any heavy lifting so there's really no reason I should have had so many broken nails. The 2 pedicures were okay, the first one I got the woman really dug into my nail bed and it hurt pretty badly. The second one was fine, she just had to service another customer for 20 minutes during my pedicure so it took a lot longer than it should have. I normally don't come back after a bad experience, but I made an exception because the staff is really nice, but now I will definitely not be back unfortunately. read more

Just got out of the worst experience i have ever had at a nail salon. the manicurist were rude and unprofessional to me and when one of the nails was filed crooked, I politely asked them to fix it (see attached photo). The manicurist told me that if I didn't like it, I could leave, which I responded with, "then I won't be paying anything." I walked out with ugly, unpainted, and unshaped nails. these nails were for my back to school (2 days) and my sweet 16 (1 week) and I genuinely don't know what to do as i can't even take these off as they are pretty solidly glued onto my nails. I'm going to have to go to another salon and get these soaked off. It's a pretty disappointing experience as I'm not sure I'll have a chance to get these fixed before school starts. Everyone is very nice here so I really wanted to like them but my manicure was so bad I just can't. The good: I walked in for a gel polish removal and manicure and was helped fairly quickly considering I didn't have an appointment. She removed the gel with zero damage to my natural nails which was a pleasant surprise. But that's where the good ends. The bad: she kept trying to trim my cuticles after I repeatedly asked her to only buff them. They are very sensitive and always react badly to cutting. She didn't file them smoothly and after asking her to fix them three times I just gave up. The massage was so hard and aggressive, And at one point she punched my outer shoulder and I actually said "ow!" And the Polish was done very hastily and she didn't give me enough time to dry before handing me a ticket and sending me up front to pay. Needless to say, I won't be back :( read more

I was referred to Top Care Nails by the ladies a few doors down at Gypsy Boutique. It did not disappoint! Both Trina and Sunny pampered me with an amazing gel manicure and gel pedicure. My nails look perfect! And they are EXACTLY what I wanted. Also, I usually never use the massage chairs at salons because I find them uncomfortable and almost annoying. But the chairs here are so comfortable and soothing... I wished I had had time to stay and just sit in the chair after I was done! I've been going to this nail salon for nearly 20 years. They had always been friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Recently I had 3 foot surgeries back to back. It prevented me from getting pedicures for a number of months. During this time, ownership of the salon changed. I went back in for a pedicure with my favorite lady, whom had kept in touch with me during my absence. I had an appointment for a pedicure but when I arrived, I asked if they could do a polish change of my hands. The new owner basically refused as I didn't have an appointment for the polish change, even though there was one lady doing nothing, and the "walkin welcome " sign still lit up. The shop is now as welcoming as an operating room, the ladies all super quiet, not interacting with their customers, faint music in the background and it has no warmth anymore. My lady did a fantastic job, as always, but the whole experience was as comfortable as getting a colonic in Tijuana. The welcoming atmosphere, compared to what it used to be, definitely doesn't exist anymore. read more

I would not recommend. A lot of people recommend this as a cheap option, but it is very, very, very, bad. I came in after I booked an appt. on the phone, but I still had to wait almost 30 minutes until I was accommodated after I kept asking how much longer, and there were clearly multiple available nail techs available. I picked my color, and she began. Holy crap. She kept filing off the skin near my cuticle on my thumb after telling her multiple times to stop. Then, she used alcohol to wipe off the dust, which hurt like crazy on the now broken skin. It was insane. She took almost 2 1/2 hours. 2 1/2 hours. For nails! It was a simple, single-colored set of acrylics. During this whole time, I never complained about the time, because I could tell them weren't done. They were so bulky! I have pictures. They were mountains on my fingers, and curved so much. I thought she would work on them longer, but after an outrageous amount of time, I was left with bulky nails. Overall super mad with this place. My bulky nails were not worth the cheap price and extremely long wait. read more

Unfortunately my experience has always been made difficult by the owner. First she quoted a wait time to 10 minutes which ended up being 30. I decided to give them one more chance and next time she said they could take me. When I asked her she was curt and short. Then she changed the price of a quick polish change I needed. She said because they cut my nails she had to increase the price! So absurd especially other places are competitive in the price.
