Vu kills it everytime. He is super meticulous and takes his time to make all nails look identical in shape and length. He is great with designs too! They always have pretty good music going on and never too loud. Parking can be limited in the back but street parking is kind of plentiful every time I've gone here. But I do go during the weekday so I bet week nights or weekend days are busier than what I've encounter.
Nail update~ I got French tip nails this time and with a touch of shimmer! Vu was attention to my nails as always ;) happy customer!
My new go-to nail spot! Vu is super meticulous and detailed when doing nails so I know I'm always getting my money's worth! He always does exactly what I'm envisioning perfectly, whether I think of it myself or show a reference picture. Today, I asked last minute to switch to gel X instead of regular gel manicure and he was super accommodating!! I always recommend this place to everyone who asks about my nails :D
Being a loyal, accommodating, and friendly customer is not the customer Nancy at Yolo Beauté is looking for. It's so disappointing to say that I won't be returning due to bad customer service from Nancy. I always booked my appointments weeks in advance and always showed up 10 minutes early. The one time my car breaks down, and I'm physically unable to get in my vehicle, is when I cancel a nail appointment that I always look forward to. I got my nails done there for around five months and never had any issues. Sure, Nancy, the woman that coordinates the appointments, is not the friendliest, but who cares because I loved the way Vu did my nails! Unfortunately, Nancy, the woman who does lashes, doesn't know the value and doesn't give back respect to her customers. Just like everyone else, I work hard for my money. And for most, getting their nails done is a relaxing treatment, some short time away from your busy day to do something nice for yourself. I'm very displeased by the customer service provided by Yolo Beauté. Nancy has never been kind and welcoming to me in person, as she has seen me many times. I will not continue to support a small business that does not deserve my money and time. I will leave screenshots below of the 1-star customer service Nancy at Yolo Beauté provides.
Just got my nails done by Vu. Best nails I've ever had! This was my first visit, and I plan on coming back. I previously had my nails done in another state for my wedding. I wish I found Vu sooner. He fixed my nails and filled them in with neutral pink powder and then went over it with a gel coat. He changed my nail shape per my request. I love the shape of my nails (coffin type shape)! He evened them out so they were smooth, and dainty. I love how the tips dip in ever so slightly. He really took his time and I really appreciate that. Vu is very talented! I can't wait till our next appointment! The experience overall was relaxing and chill. I kept quiet and let him do his thing. They play really nice music here. Love the esthetic overall. I will look into the other services here as well Thank you Vu. Will be back soon!
I've gone to Vu twice now when I've wanted to treat myself to extra pretty nails and have been thrilled both times. He takes his time and makes sure the nail shape is perfect. I enjoy the quiet time with no small talk. He shows lots of options for the acrylic base tone and design colors. I've walked in with an inspo photo both times and was able to customize it to exactly what I was looking for. Both appointments were about 2 hours, and not that much more than my usual gel nails that aren't anything special. Definitely recommend him and will be returning.
I've never left a review before, but this service deserved one. - great attention to detail, he double checked my nails from multiple angles during the process to make sure the shape is correct and that the right extension is used - acrylics came out nice and thin. My old nail tech never buffed them down to this level where they feel really natural and comfortable - this acrylic full set cost 60$. I've gotten my nails done at a lot of other salons in the Tri-Valley and this is definitely the best place for the price point
I had an extremely great first nail service at Yolo Beauté today! Vu was so nice and he did a phenomenal job on my nails. I came in with really bulky acrylic nails that someone from another salon did and I did not like them at all. Vu took the time to correct the nail shape and thickness and they came out perfect! It took me a long time to find a nail technician that I am super happy with in the tri-valley and I'm sure Vu is it! Side note: This beauty spa also has many other services that I have not tried yet but would also recommend based on their posted work online.
Vu is literal perfection every single time. He always does his best work- always. I will never go elsewhere because Vu is a perfectionist who never rushes his clients, never has days where the quality suffers. I have had nail technicians in the past that are constantly answering the phone, know that I won't complain and totally take advantage of that. Usually, it's good quality initially then dwindles as time passes. This lifted broken is not the case with Vu. I would pay any amount he asked for, although he is also cheaper than most places. My nails have never broken in the five years I have been going to him. Not once have they lifted, broken or chipped, and I use my nails as tools daily. He's is the BEST in this area.
Vu does amazing work and their online reservation system allows them to be super responsive. I was able to get a last minute appointment by joining the waitlist. The amount of time Vu spent shaping my nails was next level and price is super competitive for the quality!
First time here and had a great experience. Vu is amazing, especially with designs! Highly recommend, will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

The best combination ever!!!!!! Now I can get my lashes and nails done in one setting. Vu is the best nails tech I have ever known. He was attentive and gentle doing my nails. He has incredibly colors collection which will give you a hard time to chose from because every single one of them is dazzling. But don't worry at all, with incredible artistic skills, Vu will assist you with his best ability. Cant wait to get back to get my new set.

Not sure my photo quite does It justice but this has to be in the top best nails I've ever had. Vu is super detailed and executed exactly what I wanted! Plus his salon is very cute. It's beautifully decorated and smells great and he has good music playing too. It was my first time coming in but I knew It would be great based on photos i saw on yelp so I will absolutely be coming back. read more

I was happy with this place! I requested gel x manicure and a regular pedicure which took a total of 2 hours. I think Vu did a great job. My nails look as similar to my inspo pic as you could get! The attention to detail was great and the whole process was amazing. I def recommend this place! read more

My partner and I have been to Vu three times (four manicures.) Over those three appointments, not one has started on time, each time Vu has been at least fifteen minutes behind. The two Gel manicures my partner received came out beautifully, so if you're not on a time crunch and that is all you are looking for, you will walk out happy. My first visit was a fill, as the integrity of my previous Gel-X was maintained, and overall both the fill, shaping, and nail are were satisfactory. I needed a new set on this visit, and things went downhill quickly. I pointed out that numerous nails were too narrow, and it was shrugged off (some builder gel was placed on the sides, but nothing further.) He then tried to push acrylic on me, and laughed when I expressed that acrylic does not work for me, and I had not previously had issues with Gel-X over nearly two years. I would have walked out if I had the option. As a result, not a single pair of fingers is consistent (as pictured,) the "stiletto" tips are not centered, the shaping is horribly unflattering on my hands, not one nail has a proper apex due to the initial application being significantly longer than the length I expressed I would want. The "cat-eye" I paid additional for is barely noticeable. At least the color itself is pretty. Back to the drawing board, as my quest for a competent apres gel-x tech in the area now continues. read more

I had an extremely great first nail service at Yolo Beauté today! Vu was so nice and he did a phenomenal job on my nails. Yolo Beauté was difficult to find as it is inside a complex, but this nail salon is hidden gem. The place looks like an upscale salon without being overpriced. Vu was very thorough and detail-oriented. I sent him a photo of nail art I wanted to copy, and I am pleased that he was able to do it. The photo doesn't do justice to his work. Note that little booboo was not his doing. ;) read more

Love this salon!! I showed Vu a photo of the acrylic nails I wanted and he was able to make a perfect replica of it. He was very precise and careful while doing my nails and it really shows in how beautiful this set turned out. Also I made the appointment through texting Nancy, she was very kind and it was easy to make the appointment. I am so impressed with Vu's work and I'm excited to come back! read more

Great experience. I had volume lashes done and a beautiful eyebrow wax. I'm a hairstylist and have had many eyelash experiences. This by far was the most gentle and my lashes are so full. She does not miss one lash. She's certified in many methods and does a beautiful job on eyebrows as well. read more

I love how my acrylic nails turned out. Vu is really gentle and he has superb attention to detail. He carefully spread out the glitter decals in a very natural way. He checks every angle to make sure everything's smooth and doesn't skip any steps, while other salons seem to rush my nails. I went to the wrong address because my online receipt had that mistake, so I was 30 minutes late to my appointment. Vu finished my nails even though it went a little past closing hour. These were $80 before tip. I'll definitely come here again because the quality is unmatched :) read more

Nancy is the only person I trust to do my eyelashes extensions. She's very professional and has really good taste. No matter how thick I want my eyelashes look it always feels like I'm putting nothing in my eyelashes. And I've never had any problems with my real eyelashes after which is very important. I have had other people do my eyelashes but it ended up either leaving uncomfortable feeling in my eyes or my real lashes falling off. They last for awhile too. It always takes at least one month before I have to do touch up. She recently opened her own salon in Pleasanton. It has such a cute and relaxing decorations. She also does eyebrows microblading which by far the most natural looking I've seen. read more

I don't review very often, but I've gone to Vu for my nails enough times now to know that he is the best nail tech I've gone to. I first came to him to do a trial for my wedding nails and loved how meticulous he is, they always come out perfect! I like coming in with a photo for fun designs and he always comes through. Super artistic, a ton of supplies, and I was so surprised with how reasonable the prices are. I get so many complements and recommend him to everyone!! read more

Found this lovely place searching through Yelp (per usual) and I must say the location and place is perfect. You experience such a zen vibe when you walk in and their minimalist decor is everything. I have got to say Vu is by far the best nail tech I've come across in my whole nail experience lol. He gets down to a T of what you want and does his work or art with patience. 5/5 for sure recommend! I've found my nail tech for life! read more
