I have been going to Joy for almost a year now. She is most professional. The facility is clean. She is extremly gentle when servicing me and always checks in during the process for lash extentions and refills. I have also had a hydro facial with her and was amazing. Note, that you cannot have the eyelashes when doing the hydrofacial, and she made sure she communicated this with me, so I waited until my lashes basically needed a new set. So worth it. Joyce is very sweet and patient. The shop is very clean and neat. She will walk you through the type of styles offered. I got the full set cat eye and I love it. I am a intense blinker, she was very patient and for that I thank her. Tip, ladies if you are thick, I would bring a pillow to go under your knees so that you can lay flat. You'll be there for maybe an hour, so being comfortable is necessary. I've been getting my lashes done here for the last few months and Joyce is great. My eyes never burn after getting lashed and she's really gentle when she has to remove outgrown lashes. storytime on how terribly i got treated here (READ!). i got a brow lift and added a wax, the lift was fine but the waxing teared off some of my skin so its all red and fleshy now around my eyebrows. but when i went to check out she told me she didnt receive the $60 (price for just brow lift) i paid when i originally booked my appt. i showed her that it requires you to pay the FULL price of the service in order to confirm your reservation (which is weird?), PLUS the charge on my card but she started accusing me of paying a "different place" because for some reason the charge didnt specifically show it was for "lashes moment" and she "didnt receive it on her end". it showed up as a charge to "beauty spa" in pleasanton (idk why but chase just does that). i told her if her business is under a bigger pleasanton corporation then thats why the charge showed a different name. bc how couldve i booked the appt if i didnt pay??? she then called her boss who i think was joyce? who started accusing me of cheating them and threatened to CALL THE POLICE (im just a poor little 18 yr old girl). keep in mind this is all over freaking $60. she said on their website they only require a $30 deposit and that i was "lying" but i literally showed her on her own freaking phone that it makes you pay in FULL to book ur appt. and her english wasnt that great so she just didnt understand me. she was very defensive and rude on the phone and kept threatening to call the police and wasnt making any compromise so i just paid them AGAIN and went to get a refund for the original charge from my bank. im very sad abt how they handled this because whoever did my brows (idk if thats joyce or not) was very nice and attentive and tried her best to handle the situation maturely but her boss was EXTREMELY disrespectful, defensive and OD ASF. she only charged me $10 instead of 20 for the wax, so i had to pay them $70 in total... actually 72 after tax but still wouldnt recommend this place in general esp for waxing. also its impossible to book bc ur gonna be forced to pay twice (on the website and in person). if you refuse be prepared to have the police called on you! if this $60 situation was handled with any kindness or decency i wouldve come back for the brow lift bc i was happy with my results. but whoever the boss is (joyce??) has no mercy, sympathy and only cares about ur money so unfortunately i will never come back to this place. read more
