Worst pedicure I've ever had. I've been to other salons who have made me bleed and I still had a better pedicure compared to TN nails. I live close by so I thought I'd give them a try. First red flag, walked in mid day and zero customers. Not a single one the entire time I was there. All the techs were sitting around on their phones and I'm pretty sure one was sleeping. Someone had posted that they weren't sure if their tools are cleaned, I can confirm that is accurate. During my service the tech sprayed the clippers down with alcohol. Why weren't they sanitized before in an actual sanitizer?? They didn't use alcohol on my toes or even cleaned them let alone any sort of solid buffing. I went home and did it all myself. They also left nail polish on my toes and didn't clean them off. Also, instead of using a new clean cotton to separate my toes, they used the used ones from taking my polish off. How cheap is that? I just had soggy acetone soaked cotton stuck between my toes. Also, my pedicure was $35 which is a bit more than the average and they couldn't even spare a bit of cotton. TN Nails Spa is located in the Mission Plaza with shared parking in the lot. I was looking for a mani pedi spot last minute before a trip and stumbled upon this spot on Yelp. The ratings seemed decent and somewhat promising here, and they were able to accommodate me with no appointment, so I decided to give them a try. I have been here twice now - the initial visit and then another stop back here a week later, as my nails were coming / peeling off. On both visits, the shop was quiet and completely empty. The same 2 employees (may be the owners or managers) were there both times and they were both friendly and welcoming. On my first visit, I did a mani pedi (both gel). The mani turned out pretty nice and while the pedi process was relaxing, it was not exactly neat or what I expected - I asked for rounded for my toenails and got more of curved squared nail, and I felt like the bottom of my feet felt more hard than before the pedi (even with their callus treatment, foot scrub, etc.). After 3 - 4 days (and during my trip), the gel polish on one of my hands (all 5 nails) lifted and started to peel off, which is why I stopped by again after I was back to get it fixed. On my second visit, the same employee redid my hand that was messed up. She was friendly, as well as quick and efficient, which I appreciated. Literally the next day, the gel from the other hand started to lift and peel off and a couple of days after, the hand that was redone started to chip. Overall, it was very strange, as this was the first time something like this happened to me (or anyone I know) and I have been getting my nails done at salons for at least the last 8 years. I just took the L and removed all the polish from both hands. Definitely unfortunate all this happened, as it was over $120 (plus tip). It would had been 2 stars, but I rounded it up to 3 stars for their friendliness. read more

I love so many things about this nail salon! They accept walk-ins on a Saturday evening when the rest of the world is closing down. Tonight was my 2nd visit here and I will definitely be back every time I have any nail needs. HELEN was sweet and well skilled and she gave me EXACTLY what I wanted and even threw in a little something special and creative that I wasn't expecting. Glue pooling out of the extension and getting on my skin, as well as the under of my nail being so thick and clogged with glue, I'd never come here again. Trimming was not even and the polish used was so thick that the final result was clumpy. They could have suggested a different color that was not old and thick. I will not go back. read more

I really needed to get my feet cleaned up, but am really disappointed they still look like this after I paid $35 for the service and also a tip. I had to go home and order a tool of Amazon to get my calluses done before my trip. Let me start off by saying I am very disappointed to be writing this review as I had been going here for a year with no issues until this week. I went in for a Pedicure on Wednesday Oct1 and got the Deluxe w/ Gel and a simple design on Each big toe. My total was $71 dollars - Deluxe Ped is $45 + Gel is $15 and I'm guessing $5 a toe for design. I originally pay using Zelle but she asked me to use card this time- i tipped $6 dollars they filled in a $16 dollar tip. It now has completely ruined the trust and didn't provide a copy of my receipt. I am appalled on how dishonest they chose to handle this. I ended up paying $87 dollars for a pedicure, luckily i have a dispute in with my bank on this company but if you are going to go here DO NOT PAY WITH APPLE PAY OR CARD - THEY FILL IN THEIR OWN TIP read more

BAIT AND SWITCH. The first time I came in to get a pedicure I had a lovely experience. The second time not so much. They tried to overcharge me by $15 extra dollars stating I wanted gel nails. All of the nails they display are gel nails. I picked a polish from the same category the first time and I didn't get charged extra. They also went up an extra $5 from the first time I went in. I came to the nail shop last Friday and had a horrible experience. I've been here before and Anna is great but I had Helen and another lady this time around. I had a 5:15pm appt time but was not sat in the chair until 5:45pm. I have been getting Pedicures for years so I know the process and what's included. I noticed the pedicurist was not cutting all my toe nails down as well as did not clean the cuticles on every toe. I had to ask for her to do every toe. She acted as if she did not understand. I asked for someone to translate. Helen came over and took over and cut my cuticles. The massage was low grade no pressure, after 3 days the polish is already coming off and looks lumpy and nails are already breaking. I will think twice before returning to the establishment due to the horrible service received. read more
