My fiance and I went to Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda on Sunday March 20 and received incredible service. We went in knowing what we wanted, a 2016 Mazda CX-5, which I determined based off of its #2 ranking on Consumer Reports for affordable Mini SUV's. I have had the car for two days, but so far I love it! We ended up getting the upgraded version, the touring over the sport based on the recommendation and explanations of the car by our salesman Richard Uhlenberg and his manager Garth Wall. We had superb service the entire time we were there, the process went quickly (for a car dealership experience) and every step was seamless. Everyone, and I mean everyone, we encountered at the dealership was great - people kept checking in on us, making sure we didn't have any questions or needed anything, incredible service. The manager of the the dealership came over and introduced himself. I was given his business card if I ever needed anything and couldn't get ahold of Richard. The Finance Manager John Sutfin also gave us his business card should we ever need anything or have any issues. Everyone really went above and beyond for us. It was raining when we left and they told us to bring the car back this week to get it re-detailed... just awesome. Could not recommend Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda enough. Love the car, love the dealership (just re-opened and it's beautiful!), love the service. read more

My husband and I had a great first time buyer's experience with Dublin Mazda! No one was pushy and everyone was helpful and courteous. Richard helped us find the perfect car and went out of his way to make the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. He was patient with us as we batted around ideas and changed out minds over and over, and we never felt like he was trying to corner us into a sale. All around wonderful experience in what can often be a stressful endeavor. read more

The guys at Dublin Mazda were clutch. My Ford Explorer goes bad on me, yea I know that was my first mistake. So I am in need of a car and decide to go the sporty coupe route. After searching and finding my car, I send the seller an email, and Bruce responded in an extremely quick manner. Fast forward later the same day and I'm at Dublin Mazda where Bruce gives me the breakdown of a nice Infiniti G35, we go for a test drive and get back and start crunching numbers. Bruce heard my offer, and we decided in the middle. Great customer service and he was clear with all the details. But i still had to go through financing which was ran by Big Mike. Big Mike ruled, explained every document, presented me with all my options. Very helpful gentleman, zipped thru and now I am home with my new ride. In and out in a matter of hours, thanks again to Bruce and Big Mike and everyone at Dublin Mazda. Definitely recommend. read more

Sean is a tough negotiator, but he is genuine, likable and honest. I would buy from him again.

this place was amazing. They had my car done as scheduled. They had an uber take me and pick me from home so I didn't have to wait 8n the lobby. They did everything I asked without shoving a 5 star rating survey down my throat like most places. They were great. read more

Buying a car is typically a dreaded experience. However, Garth Wall, Fleet Manager at Dublin Mazda was AMAZING!!!! Garth is, by far, the BEST, most knowledgeable, friendly, honest salesman I've ever encountered. His service and attention to every detail was impeccable! I called and spoke with Garth on the phone and we set an appt.. Upon arrival, he greeted me and we started with our order of business. He walked me through the entire process, step by step and answered all of my questions and concerns. Although my situation was unique he assured me that he and the staff would make certain that my needs were met. They did that and then some!!! John Sutfin, Finance Manager was so personable and really did an excellent job at explaining leasing and purchasing options, as well as, being very transparent in regards to the purchase / lease price of the vehicle, fees, etc. At no time did I feel "left in the dark" or guessing. I drove home in a new, confident in my purchase decision. I have already referred a friend to Dublin Mazda and they too have purchased a vehicle. My experience has been so wonderful, I feel like I just became part of the Dublin Mazda family. I am actually looking forward to going in just to say hello when I bring in my vehicle for it's first check-up. If you are looking to purchase a quality vehicle with the perfect price point, all while having a stellar shopping experience, visit Garth at Dublin Mazda. You will not be disappointed!!! read more

I purchased a certified preowned Mazda at this location. I'll give you the positive and negative aspects of the experience. Positives: -Large inventory of pre-owned cars, much bigger than the dealerships in San Francisco, so if certified pre-owned is what you're going for, you'll probably find options here. -Friendly staff and I never had to wait for someone to assist me Negatives: -The salesmen and managers are friendly until you actually sign the paperwork. After signing comes the part where they hand over the keys... except that in this case they handed me one key, saying "that's all that comes with this car." They wouldn't budge on it, and ended up making me pay just over $300 for a second key, which we needed since both my wife and I would be driving the car. I have a feeling that this is a regular stunt, since the keys are interchangeable and can be reprogrammed for whichever car they wish. -After the actual sale, I had a lot of trouble getting the salesman to return my calls to coordinate pickup -The woman who handles the sale of the extended warranty is very dishonest. She directly quoted me prices, which I wrote down, for each of the items on the extended service package to show me how quickly the package would pay off. I then went home and called the dealership, and other mazda dealers, and found that the true prices were less than half of what she quoted me, so the package was a complete rip off. Point is, be weary if you are buying from this dealership, and make sure you go through a checklist of everything you're getting with the vehicle to make them commit to things (like 2 keys, a full spare tire, etc) before you sign, and DON'T buy the extras like service packages without doing your own research. read more

The customer service here is dreadful. Based on the excellent customer reviews, I decided to give this dealership first shot and made the call. A lady named Rebecca answered the phone, and I described the vehicle I was looking for and the price range I had in mind: a used 2015 or 2014 CX-5 for around 24K out the door. She told me she would see what they have in stock or arriving soon and call me back within 15 minutes. She never called back. I happened to be in the area the following week and met with Greg Gutierrez. After explaining the same requirements, he arranged a test drive in a 2016 model despite the fact I'd already explained it was out of my price range. I just wanted to get a feel for the car, so I took it for a drive and didn't complain. He told me that he could find me what I was looking for in that price range, but they didn't have any in stock at the time. He told me they had several used models arriving after the New Year and promised to get back to me. He didn't. I made numerous calls and texts with limited response. When I finally managed to reach him by phone, I mentioned he had been very unresponsive with getting back to me but he just brushed it off. Once again, he said they would have some used CX-5's arriving the following week. At that point, I was done and contacted the great folks over at Team Mazda in Vallejo. They hooked me up with a brand new 2016 model and were nothing but professional from the time I called them until the time I walked out with the keys. I ended up paying more than I had planned, but their finance department helped me cover the extra. Your loss Dublin Mazda! read more

Stopped by to just test drive a Mazda 3. We were able to walk through the whole parking lot, doing the touchy feely inside any car without anyone on our shoulder. Can you saw omg that's awesome, cause we did to, yep all to ourseleves....lol. I had done my own research and knew the basics of what we needed. As we walked in the small quaint showroom Garth Wall said hello and asked if someone had helped us yet or if we had any questions. Garth was able to narrow down the specifics and had that model in stock. We took a test drive and we're impressed with the car and again Garth being pleasant and a normal human being even for being a car salesman for some time, no high pressure and he listened to us. We were able haggle the price and it even beat some of the on-line services that I had done once we sat down. As it was late Sunday evening the overall process was pretty quick and everyone we talked to was pleasant. The sales manager Jonathan Higgins stopped by and chatted us up and dealing with Neil Sponsel and doing the paperwork was easy. read more

I felt a outstanding review was in order for Mr. Gregory Gutierrez, salesman at Dublin Mazda. My family and I want to share our wonderful treatment and experience with others when considering whether or not to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I had read on dealerrater.com how wonderful their customer service is there and so I had my family drive 50 miles to look at their Mazda CX-5's. They were not disappointed at all! My senior parents were so impressed with Gregory for all of the time he spent with them, from taking them on a 45 minute test drive to being there for them during the signing of the finance papers. Plus, putting up with me, their daughter over the phone when discussing the finance agreements. A great big thank you goes out to Greg for being there when I couldn't due to my illness. I have the utmost confidence in Greg to take great care of any person with any special needs. Anyone that has senior parents should feel confident in knowing that this dealership will do anything to make their customers comfortable! Addendum: Kuddos to one of the General Sales Managers, Sean Yeaman, too, for helping my family to arrive at the right price point for the vehicle they wanted. Sean made every effort to get my parents the best financing and monthly payment for the car they wanted. He was very creative I might add. A very sweet and patient person and the same goes for Gregory too! Sean spent a great amount of time on the phone with me in helping to determine what color of vehicle and interior would be best for s certain environment for my parents. With everyone's help my parents were able to get the car of their dreams for a price they could afford. Kuddos to everyone on a job well done! Merci Beaucoup!!!!! read more

We had our best car buying experience purchasing a new Mazda 2 Touring with Dick Reyes at Dublin Mazda. He was knowledgeable, personable, professional and willing to work with us over e-mail and the phone. He quoted us a great price from the start (we shopped other Mazda dealerships in the Bay area but they didn't come close to Dick's quote). We went there over the Memorial Day weekend and he was there to meet us for a test drive and since we had the correct paperwork we drove the car away a few hours later. Got a great car at a great price. read more

My husband and I ventured over to Dublin Mazda on a whim Saturday morning to see about trading in our old car and buying a new one. We got there a few minutes after they opened and started looking at the Mazda3. Michael B. approached us and walked us through a few of the cars. We took two out for a test drive and decided on the Touring. Great experience, and everyone we talked to was very helpful, particularly Michael. The entire process took around 5 hours (longer than we expected!), but we drove away in our new car, very happy with our purchase and the experience. No one was pushy in the slightest and when I found a lower price for the car on their website, Michael was quick to fix our paperwork. Highly recommended! read more

Came in to look at cars today and ended up buying a Mazda 3 from Kevin. The experience was one of the best and easiest I've had in many years. Super easy and I didn't have to wait very long to make the deal. Go here if you want a great deal and a friendly atmosphere. read more

I just leased a car and George made it painless. He found the exact car I wanted. Everyone was great, from the time I walked in to when I drove my car off the lot. I was on vacation a few months ago and rented a Mazda 3 five door. Really loved the car and the handling. So I visited Dublin Mazda and I am glad I did because I walked out with a new car. I worked with Stephen Butterfield, who was most helpful and accommodating since I had my 6 year old nephew with me. The whole team at this dealership is very understanding and they listen to all one's questions and concerns. I just purchased a vehicle at this dealership and had to write to thank Michael Barrilleaux for an exceptional experience. He was very pleasant and friendly from the get go and made sure that all of my questions were answered. In fact, he took the time after the sale to go through the ins and outs of the car on a day that was convenient for my wife and I. I didn't feel pressured at all and was able to get an awesome deal on a wonderful car. I would highly recommend buying a car from Michael if you're looking into getting a Mazda for yourself. You will leave the dealership a happy customer! read more

I had a great experience at Dublin Mazda. My husband and I arrived on a Sunday evening not realizing they had just closed. We browsed around the lot and found the perfect car for me, a Mazda CX-5. With out hesitation, Kaz was willing to help us purchase my first Mazda, despite how late it was. We were the last ones to leave the building roughly three hours later but we left happy and satisfied with the patience and effort put forward by Kaz and "Big Mike" in financing. Got a great deal with little haggling. Thanks read more

After experiencing every dishonest and tired car sales tactic at several other dealerships, we finally ran into Lance at Dublin Mazda. This is what a car buying experience should be: a simple, down to earth process with as little pain as possible. He managed to beat the price we asked for and got us a rebate for which we were not aware we qualified. Lance was great, we will probably buy another car from him when it's our other car's turn for a trade up. read more

Had such a wonderful experience buying a car from Rosie and Nick. I have never had a car buying experience that went so well. Rosie new exactly what my family needed and matched us with the Mazda CX-5 and boy I am in love! Most importantly I really appreciate them following up and making sure that everything was ok with the vehicle and if we had any questions. Beyond EXCELLENT service read more

Not a pleasant experience at all. Was set to go to another dealership that I had made a deal with. Dublin Mazda told me to go to them instead and said they could give me that deal. Lies!!! I got there and they were friendly but the price had jumped $1500. They said they would roll the dice and assured me that if I went somewhere else I would not get a better deal. I rolled the dice and saved $1400. Thanks Fremont Mazda. No thanks Dublin Mazda! read more

So we were looking for a Mazda 3 for our son. Searched the internet. Got some ok quotes from other Mazda dealers in the Bay Area. Then I got an email from Nick of Dublin Mazda with the most amazing price, about $!580 less than the MSRP of the i torning I was looking at on their website. I called and text Nick to confirm the price and if the car existed. Of course he said yes and asked me to go in for a test drive. At first, I was very skeptical, thinking for sure there must be some kind of catch. Eventually my husband and I went in, sure enough, that car existed. My husband test drove it and fell in love with the Mazda 3 I Touring. After a little bit of negotiation, Nick dropped another $250.00. Wow, it was a pleasant experience buying a new car from Dublin Mazda dealer. But I think it was Nick that kept every going smoothly. Thanks Nick! read more

After a horrible experience at stevens creek Subaru in which the salesman was pretty unprofessional, acting like a child, having a tissy fit because I decided I wasn't going to purchase the car. I came back to Fresno to hopefully purchase one from Lithia Subaru and keep it local. The salesman Lacy was nice, professional, and although he listened to what I would like, he nor his manager was direct enough to simply tell me they can't give me the deal I would like, and kept bs'ing around. This is my first time purchasing a vehicle and with those two horrible experience, I really wanted to give up. I'm glad I didn't bc I found the Subaru I would like with the price I want, and even though I wasn't being too particular about the color, it was metallic blue and looked real pretty. So I called and spoke with Mike Davis and I asked him one simple question: whether he can do it at the price I want or not and he told me he'd call me back. Less than 5 minutes, he called me back and told me he can! So Ev and I drove 2 hours and Mike was as friendly as he was over the phone, very professional, no BS, helpful and that was it! I bought the car and Big Mike (financier) was very friendly, joking around considering this was already at 11pm! I couldn't believe how lucky I got finding the car I want at Dublin Mazda. Will definitely be keeping them in mind every time we think of purchasing a car. Thank you for the wonderful experience! I couldn't wait to tell everyone my good fortune and experience with their dealership. read more

Full disclaimer. This is an edit to my original review. When I originally rated Dublin Mazda I rated them 1 star and I was contacted by my sales person Jim, the sales manager Shawn and the GM Dave shortly after to get full details of my visit. Long story short, my first visit may have been the worst I've ever experienced. They all apologized and the person I had the incident with, apologized to my wife and I over the phone. They were willing to work with me and get us a fair deal. At first, we did not want to give them our business but the only reason we would consider it is because Jim had been so fantastic and personable. (If you go to Dublin Mazda, make an appointment with Jim). We discussed it and called Dave to tell him that we were willing to work with them again. This time around, they were great! If my original visit was like this, I would have given them 5 stars. The person we had an incident with came up to my wife and I and apologized, which I'm sure wasn't easy for him. Although my first visit with them was horrible, I have to admit that they made it right and we ended up with the car that we wanted. Thanks again to Jim, Shawn and Dave. read more

This response from the dealership completely proves my point. It is full of falsehoods--and outright lies--to excuse their behavior. I never drove anywhere with any technicians. Certainly not to and from Dublin to Oakland. The car was TOWED to your dealership, and the next time I saw it was to drive it away over two weeks later to deal with it myself. Further, I NEVER told anyone I wouldn't return the loaner that Mazda Corp had arranged (not the dealership). In fact, when you called and said you wanted it back, I brought it back the next day. Finally, Dave, you and I both know that Mazda Corp didn't tell you to send that letter. The day I got that letter we spoke on the phone and during that call I told you to call Mazda Corp to which you responded "How do I do that? Do you have the number for them?" This is just a continuation of the horrible treatment I received from your dealership. In your response you're basically saying I'm a liar. Thanks. Again, please stay away from this place if you can. In the meantime, honestly I was just willing to let this go and move on, but now I will be sending detailed complaints to the BBB and the State AG. Finally, I will be sending a copy of your response to Mazda Corp. I was in constant contact with them over the weeks I spent trying to resolve this, and they have a complete record of what actually happened. read more

Dublin Mazda is where I just purchased my new car, a beautiful used Mazda 3 and the sales staff was very friendly, non-pressuring and knowledgable. Our saleswoman Rebekah S. helped to get us the best possible price and answered our several questions, took us on numerous test drives and assisted us with a couple tricky personal situations to allow us to be able to get the car as well as drive it home that very same day which made me very happy. If you go there I would definitely ask for Rebekah if you want someone who will help you find something in your price range, fight in your corner for the best possible deal and who can answer all your questions and take good care of you. Also, John S. the finance director that assisted with paperwork and whatnot was extremely friendly and had us in and out very quickly with the paperwork. The whole dealership came off very professional and transparent as far as their prices and in the future, Dublin Mazda will be my first stop. I pride myself in my deception detection skills after having taken many courses on "lie detection, deception, interrogation" and I have to say that all the people we encountered were down-to-Earth, honest and trustworthy people all throughout the process, which is a very rare thing to find in the car business. read more

That's actually 10 stars, the other 5 is invisible!! Thanks to Stephen, Bruce and John!!! They were awesome!Stephen gave me the price I wanted which was lower than what he offered me the first time for a spankin brand new mazda 3 iGT. At first I had hesitation since I live in Fremont, I can just go to Fremont Mazda but Stephen was consistent but not pushy, very polite on the phone and his emails have his personal touches not just some computer generated emails or an email that was cut and paste sent to me with the wrong name on it. I felt that I am treated as a human being knowing that I am a first time buyer and he's not even sure if I am buying from him or not. Bruce took over when I went there to see the car since I didn't make an appointment with Stephen(my bad) coz he was busy with another customer. Bruce handled the initial paperwork and he was so nice(they were all nice) and made me feel homy since I went there by myself nervous and not knowing what would the next thing be. They had some barbecue and all the food and they were nice to offer it to everyone. John took care of the financing stuff and he gave me the best APR everrr!! I was like whoa!! even lower than my bank(3+%) would offer me. I was nervous before that coz I don't know what kind of APR i will get being a first time buyer. Overall my experience was really awesome. I'm already driving my badasskerr for 2 weeks and Stephen still calls me just to ask how everything is and I'm happy that they don't forget their customers even after they drove the car out the lot. iloveyou guys!! can't wait to see y'all every 5000 miles haha! read more

We just purchased a 2016 CX-5 Grand Touring for our daughter last night at this dealership. We had been looking for a couple weeks all over California since our daughter lives in San Diego; we felt we had narrowed our search down to a couple vehicles that had the options we were looking for as well as a good price. I reached out to Dublin Mazda about a specific car and Tristan, the Internet Sales Mgr., responded to all my emails, questions, and car availability in a timely manner. After a few days and many emails, we drove down from Sacramento and when we arrived, Tristan had the car cleaned and ready for a test drive. The whole sales process went so smoothly and we were very happy with the price Tristan helped us get on the car. Tristan was very knowledgeable, honest, and humorous. We felt no pressure at all, including from Harry, in the finance department, and we all know how our palms start to sweat when it's time to deal with the "guy in Finance." If we're ever in the market for another Mazda, we won't hesitate to return to see Tristan. If you decide to go, give Tristan a call! read more

When I arrived form SF on BART, I was picked up at the station, and we drove around the dealership checking out my options. Our first Mazda, back in the 90's, was perhaps the first 4-wheel drive, three row minivan, the MPV. While we're now empty-nested, we still wanted an SUV with versatile cargo space so we settled on the new CX-9 Signature model( after considering Lexus, Acura, Toyota, and Hyundai.) The sleek new look of the Signature interior plus the many safety and comfort features make the CX-9 feel much higher-end than its price point. Since they didn't have one on the lot to see rust-colored Napa leather, for a $500 deposit Garth tracked one down for us in SoCal. He and recently-minted salesperson Stephanie made the rest of the buying experience easy. It was worth going out to Dublin for the exceptional customer service. We plan to use this SUV for longish road trips to LA and Tahoe. Right away, after our first extremely pleasant CX9 drive to LA, we noticed that the Cilajet protective finish had been inconsistently applied on the interior. One call and Garth, then Kevin were on it. The dealership's manager even called me to thank us for our business and apologize for the inconvenience. Garth drove to our home near the Caldecott Tunnel to bring us a loaner (a new CX 5) and take our CX-9 back for re-detailing and the 1000 mile service. The following day he brought it back, the work done and with a full tank of gas! That's how to show your clients that you appreciate them. Now if they can just convince Mazda to offer a cargo cover for the CX-9's spacious cargo area ( when the third row is folded down), then Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda will be the perfect dealership! read more
