We had been looking for a very specific vehicle for months. We finally found one at Dublin Honda. We live 2 1/2 hours from there so we wanted to make sure our efforts would not be wasted. I called and spoke with Tony who was immediately friendly and professional. He was eager to answer all my questions and work with me. We negotiated price and a time to meet over the phone. He even sent me a predictor of final out the door cost over email. We drove to Dublin Honda where we met Tony. He was very kind and genuine. I didn't feel like he was trying to "sell" anything to me, just help me simply buy a car. The dealership was very clean, modern, and well spaced out. Everyone greeted us kindly. We loved the car. Tony was more than accommodating. He went above and beyond to get me and my husband what we wanted. The process was the smoothest one I have ever experienced buying a car. We had our two high energy boys with us (under 10) and they did great there as well. I can't say enough good things about this place. If I got could give this dealership negative stars I would. On Thursday, March 5 around 4pm, my husband and I walked into the dealership and were rudely greeted by one of the associates. While I tried to explain we were shopping for cars and had lived in a major city for a number of years and haven't had to have a car in over 5 years, he brashly started asking "well okay but what do you want? You don't know?" Trying to be patient, we reiterated we weren't exactly sure but had hoped to look at hybrids. He then started spewing off the different models, which of course we weren't familiar with since this was our first stop. When we finally asked to see a hybrid compact SUV, he said with a clearly annoyed expression and tone "okay so you want to see the CRV then?" Both my husband and I were pretty frustrated at this point and just walked outside to see it. The guy didn't even bother to bring the keys with him and the car was locked. He kept glancing at his phone and after a few minutes asked us what we thought. We both said "well obviously we'd like to see the interior." He replied "well the keys are inside" and proceeded to just walk away. Now for the kicker- the man opened the vehicle while still being inside the building and did not even bother to come out or explain anything. We both sat in the car astonished and were frustrated that he wouldn't even bother to come with the keys so we could turn on the vehicle and do a test drive with him. When he finally did decide to come out, we asked to drive the vehicle and he said he needs our insurance and license. I then said "well like I just told you we haven't had a car in over 5 years so why would we have car insurance?" His reply? "Well, you can't drive the car." He then walked away without even saying bye. It was the rudest, most unprofessional interaction we ever had. My husband and I were so appalled that we immediately ruled out buying any Honda vehicle. Toyota was a perfect 5 star and the associate drove with us since we didn't have insurance. I wish I would've caught this man's name but he didn't even bother introducing himself or asking us for our names. The experience was so awful I left this same review on Google to let people know what to expect. Expect NOTHING other than rudeness, especially if you have the displeasure of encountering this associate first. Don't bother coming here. This honda wasn't bad but not the best to visit. At least they were able to fix my car key when it was malfunctioning due to faulty programming. But what isn't good is how expensive it was just to buy a new key even though they're aware of the keys having problems. That should be a free change or be under warranty. I was initially told over the phone the service would take 1-2 hours and then upon checking in person 2-3 hours. Five hours later, there was still no accountability or clear communication--each time I checked in, the estimated completion time kept getting pushed back. What was most frustrating was being told that "it's not like a doctor's office where an appointment means much beyond checking in." That response, along with the lack of concern when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the communication and time management, was extremely disappointing. The associate simply shrugged it off. Do not trust this dealership. My experience with Dublian Honda started on Wednesday and ended on Sunday, and the entire time I was being pushed by Brittney and William to come in because they kept saying the car was ready or almost ready. That was not true. They repeatedly told me the car was "ready," "almost ready," "in detail," or would be ready very soon. They also kept promising photos, but the photos were delayed over and over again. When photos finally came, the car was still dusty, still in the workshop, and clearly not ready. On Saturday morning, I was told William would be there around 11:30, and I was also told the interior/leather still needed cleaning. Then I was told the windshield was being replaced and the car would be good to go that night. Later, I was told photos would come in a few minutes, then I was told to wait until the next morning. On Sunday, I got more delays and more excuses. Then at 5:05 PM, they texted that detailing took longer than expected and photos would be sent as soon as possible. At 5:09 PM, I called and was told the car had already been sold. That is not a simple delay. That is dishonest and completely unprofessional. They wasted my time for days with shifting stories, false readiness updates, and promises that were not true. I never even got to test drive the car. Do not rely on what they say. Do not trust verbal promises from Brittney or William. I purchased a preowned 2008 Toyota Corolla CE, in March 2025. Next day it would not start(clutch starter switch faulty). Horn was not working and the TPMS light came on as well. Three of the sensors were faulty and found 3 in the glove box, brand new. I guess they never got to replace them. So I spoke with Joe the used cars manager and told him the issues. He told me to get the issues fixed, not with a a dealer, and he would compensate me. Got everything fixed. Called him an about 6 times and left messages. They never got back to me. This review is for the shopping experience. I am still in the process of shopping but there were some good things that stuck out at Dublin Honda. Tony was the salesperson I met with, and he had the cars ready for me and had great energy. The Location has a great mix of city streets and freeway to really get a feel for the cars. The dealer building had some older, mint, Hondas and the whole dealership had a real and authentic feel to it. The other salespeople and workers were also friendly and genuine. An added bonus is that this dealer isn't installing overpriced add-ons like junk alarm systems are GPS trackers. Many lots in front of the main building. E. approached me as i was perusing some Honda Accords. I had limited ideas about a potential car. honda a backup option. Each dealership was a quick "date" ala speed dating. Stated my intentions to gather bare facts to be compared later. Barely looked at cars. E. was disappointed Honda was #2 on my list. Informed me Honda was having a clearance on 2024 Accords with possible 2.9% financing & $3,000. Off asking price, not MSRP. I took notes, thanked him. In parting, he said he would relay trade-in value of my vehicle. Never called. Probably cuz my wheels old, didn't have much value. If he did, a deal could have been made. I went in last Saturday for service with Fred at Dublin Honda in California. After the service, I did some digging and realized that I did transmission fluid change last time in 2024 as well as four wheel alignment. As a service advisor, Fred not only didn't point that out to me but also sold me those services which for transmission oil wasn't necessary at all. And I also got a second opinion from another technician and he said the rear brake shoe is obviously larger than 2mm and in the photo the measure is not 100% at all right angle. He also tried to sell me more than $200 for changing the wipers. The list goes on and on. All make me frustrated and feel they are not honest. I'll not consider going back ever. [Sales Review Only] We happened to be in the market for a new vehicle in replacing a 2003 Toyota Corolla which has been in the family for years, but it was time. On a whim, we had decided to stop at Dublin Honda prior to going to Dublin Toyota to look at the Civic and Accord hybrids. We were met by Vince whom took care of us and showed us the cars that we were in the market for a Civic hatchback hybrid. However, we were looking at all of the hybrid vehicles and started to sit in each of them. Fast forward to the next Friday, we had decided that we wanted to go with an Accord Hybrid Sport. However, we had not test drove the vehicle and Vince scanned us in, and off we went with a silver Accord Hybrid Sport-L. Needless to say, we fell in love with this vehicle and were ready to come off the lot with it, if Dublin Honda was willing to part with it within our budget. We came to an agreement quickly - and was brought to Luis whom manages the finance. So this is something to note - Dublin Honda during payment.... will offer warranty and service extensions. These could be good for you, but YMMV. Be forewarned that this is coming and could add a several thousand on top if you take all of it. Also - you can actually put some of it on a credit card, and pay by cashier's or personal check. They are fairly good about the terms, and we made sure that we paid in full. The only issues we had was that there was only one key fob when we drove off the lot. We were told to come back, and I had asked if Saturday was okay (they said yes), and then come Saturday, they couldn't make the extra key fob, so I had to come in another day (Tuesday) and Joe helped to get the second key fob made. The cutting of the manual key is 5 minutes, and then if a service person is available, then the programming of the key fob takes about 10 minutes. However, if you book through Service, then be sure to be available for at least an hour. We had a great experience with the sales team at Dublin Honda, and look forward to potentially buying future vehicles from them. read more

Super convenient! After the inspection, we chose to replace the filters, and during that process, the team discovered a missing lug nut on the front passenger side. It was originally supposed to be ordered and installed at a later date, but Mr. Cher (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) went above and beyond--he found a spare nut and installed it within seconds. That level of attention to detail and genuine care for customer safety is rare and truly appreciated. SERVICE REVIEW: I was almost ready to give this place a great review until I picked up my car. I brought my car in for regular maintenance. Appointment was easy to make, and they have coupons on their website. They offer free shuttle service around Dublin and Pleasanton. Most communication throughout the day was via text, which is my preference. When I got a text that my car was ready, I got a shuttle ride back to Honda. Everything had been so smooth until I paid. I was told my car would be brought out shortly. I waited 38 minutes for my car. Others who came after me all got their cars and left. There was no waiting room inside, so I waited in 96 degree weather for over 1/2 hour. When I finally got my car, the complimentary "car wash" was a joke. It was like a car spray. I think when they texted me my car was ready, they forgot to wash my car. Then made me wait in the hot sun while they gave my car a little spray. My car was still dripping when I got it. This might have been a fluke, but I was really pissed being ignored while everyone else got their cars before me. At least someone could have given me an update. I don't think I would feel so bitter if at least they apologized for the long wait, but the guy just handed me the car and said the key was on the dash. Review of Dublin Honda Service Department and Dublin Honda We recently had our brand-new 2025 Honda Civic Type R--just three weeks old--rear-ended. The body shop we chose works directly with Dublin Honda, so they coordinated the mechanical portion of the repair. Once Dublin Honda completed their work, we were told they needed to perform an "extended test drive" before returning the car to the body shop. Our body shop asked if we were okay with that, and we agreed--assuming it would be done during business hours and the car would be housed at the dealership afterward. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We were shocked to find out through our AirTag that the "extended test drive" involved taking our vehicle 20 miles away to what appeared to be the service technician's residence, where it was left parked on the street overnight. This happened over the weekend, so the dealership was closed, and we received no response when we called for clarification. The next morning, we received another AirTag notification: the car was moving again--but not straight back to the dealership. It made a stop at a Starbucks, where it remained parked for an hour before finally returning to the dealership. All of this occurred without any communication or explanation from Dublin Honda. When we contacted the body shop to share what had happened, they were just as disturbed as we were. They had no idea the car would be used in this manner and were concerned because, had anything gone wrong--another accident or mechanical issue--they would have been liable. They assured us they would reach out to Dublin Honda for answers. As of our last update, Dublin Honda had still not returned their calls or provided an explanation. To be honest, we're left with the impression that this "extended test drive" was more of a personal joy ride. Since the 2025 Honda Type R is in high demand and can't even be test-driven before purchase, it raises serious concerns about how the car was treated. Did they push the engine too hard? Grind the manual transmission? Slam the brakes? We'll never know. We want other Honda owners and customers to be aware: if your vehicle is serviced at Dublin Honda, ask exactly what an "extended test drive" entails. In our experience, it meant the car was taken to someone's home, parked overnight on the street, driven to Starbucks the next day, and returned without any transparency or accountability. I want to start by saying this dealership has done a really good job with bringing the fun back into buying a car and really that's what it's supposed to be exciting not gut wrenching. Over the years I've bought cars from family, strangers, off Craigslist, and a used car lot. This is the first time I've bought from a dealership, and boy do I hope it will be the last. Sales guy was great, but once we went to the finance department it was a different story. I understand that that is just how dealerships are, but it's horrible and exhausting and I don't want to do that ever again. Craigslist was a million times better than this (though sadly these days it only seems to have salvage titles). We told the sales guy that we didn't want the LoJack and he said they would take it off. Finance guy had it on there and pushed it hard after we said we still didn't want it. Ten minutes of my life I'm never getting back right there. Then as I'm filling out the like 30 pages of paperwork he's pushing the warranty incredibly hard. To the point where he said he used to work for Toyota and they don't need warranties, but Honda needs them because my transmission will definitely go out. Honestly at that point I almost just left, I had wanted a Toyota to begin with so he almost talked me out of the car altogether. If this is why people like CarMax so much I'm just going there next time. My partner likes to buy from Hertz and while I'm iffy on buying rental cars that seems like a much better idea now. I will try every other avenue before buying from a dealership again. It is entirely possible that this wasn't as bad as other dealerships for buying a car, but why do we put up with this? I shouldn't have one of my largest purchases be so emotionally and mentally exhausting when it is already financially exhausting. read more

So the GM had me to give them a call for a possibly making this bad experience a good experience, after giving him my information, he quickly jumps in on the carfax and start asking me about my previous minor rear accident and asking me questions if that rear accident somehow I don't know if the clips that are missing or some of the 10mm bolts missing could be the cause of the rear accident. Hahahaha right, Honda is so cheap that the nuts and bolts unscrew themselves after a collision lol hahahaha, he then tells me that the manager at the service department will call me, more then 3 weeks in and still no call back. Don't message me asking that you will make things better but then try to find a reason to not do the service and offer something that you don't follow up on. Took my Brother there to buy a Hybrid Civic Touring. We were "assisted" by a Caucasian sale rep- forgot his name as he lost my attention after seeing how condescending and rude he was. His comments irked me so much... I let my brother chatted with him while I called around. We went to Livermore after a pleasant phone call with Adrianna who spent good 10 mins helping me before I even commit to anything. We left the rude sale man and Dublin location, went to see Adrianna and the car at Livermore, and we got the car the same day. I get it, it's tough out there, but if you don't enjoy your job, take the day off or do something. Don't take it out on your customers or treat potential prospects and income like doo doo. His comment was "we don't care what everyone is doing out there, this is the number if you can meet around there then we can talk" lol ok... we got the car at Livermore for several thousands below your price and a 2026 model instead of 2025. Botton line: based on current reviews, please don't waste your time here. I actually came because my friend had good experience in the past. Wonderful service advisors especially Arianna who is friendly and honest. It's always a pleasure to have her as the service advisor. She deserves 5/5 stars. One star is deducted for a few months ago, a different advisor (NOT Arianna) advised wheel alignment as part of TPMS sensors replacement (small sensors on the wheels/inside the tires) as the batteries in the sensors ran out. Wheel alignment is not needed as part of those sensors replacement. I had the TPMS replaced at my usual go-to tire shop instead. Other than that, other services at Dublin Honda including the Express oil change services had been wonderful. read more

Update 040126: There were some good things and some bad things about the purchase. Here are the not great things. I asked 4x's to have a written agreement for the purchase of the car. It was never given. I said no to the finance guy 4x's about the upsells. He would not stop selling the warranty & the prepaid maintenance. Neither of which I wanted, but he wouldn't sell the car without it. That was pretty frustrating. I cant buy a car unless I BUY there adds ons. The Goods were FULL Tank of Gas and going over the car by William. I don't know if I would buy from them again. My wife and I just purchased a car from here. I went into the dealership fully prepared. We knew the car, model, and color we wanted. We also did our research for the price out of the door. All of this was negotiated before we got into the dealership. We had test drove many cars and were able to find the one we wanted. We went at the end of the month and the end of the quarter. We were helped with Ken (sales), Alex (finance) and William (delivery). All were exceptional an explained all the things we needed to know. It took longer than we wanted (more than 1hr) to get the car, but it was a very nice experience. (Would have liked COLD water refills, but can't have everything.) Also, we got a FULL tank of Gas. That was a very nice perk. The car was fully prepped, and the dealership was very very nice. I would say a perfect buying experience. We have another honda in the family too. We bought it to have an enjoy for 20+ years. Also, we drove over 90 minutes each way to get the car. Why. They provided the deal we wanted. They are family owned and operated. So if you are looking for a new Honda, call and ask for Ken. We got the car out the door for less that 500 off the MSRP. So yes, we got a great deal. Went in for routine oil change, appt scheduling was easy using the website, checked in at the Express service. Alex is super friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle for local drop off and pick up so you don't have to stay at the shop while waiting for the vehicle to get serviced. read more

Shady internet manager Tito. We agreed on a price but upon arriving Tito said he did not remember. I showed him the numbers he gave me. He said i could have made them up. Typical bait and swith . Told him i was leaving a bad review he said "i don't care". We left.. Talked with someine about the incident and they were going to notify manager... Never got a call back from manager. I've been to this Honda a couple times in the last decade and let me tell you, if I want consistency in my life, I come here, because every single time I walk into that lot, I get such bad service that it is laughable. and it's so consistent, that either management is the exact same way, or they're so neglectful that they don't even notice. (I'm sure they'd much rather say it's the latter). My most recent visit, I informed the salesperson that I was seriously interested in a CRV. He opened the doors of one so I could peak into one, however the trunk wouldn't open. While I looked inside he offered no information whatsoever about the car. I asked if I could see one where I could check out trunk space, as that's very important to me with this purchase what with having a toddler. As we walked to a different crv. While doing so, I asked about a nearby car. His response was "oh, that's a 60k car" as if to say "you can't afford that". Oh ok, I'll just go F myself then. My bad. Shortly after he leaves to get a key to open another crv, and never came back. "Well did he forget you?" You maybe wondering? Nope. Because he opened the trunk FROM INSIDE THE DEALER. . So i got in my car and whistled my way down to the Toyota down the street. Thank you Honda, for at least being consistent with my previous visits, that at least always had the same tone as this visit. read more

I've only been here for a Honda/Acura meet as well as to buy parts from the parts/service department. The staff has always been pleasant in assisting me (especially carrying large items to the car) and helpful for questions. I feel very bad I don't remember the names of the 2 employees at the parts department that helped me when I picked up a motocompacto, one was an employee and another was a manager. The employee that helped me register information was very friendly and despite juggling multiple calls, his customer service stayed stellar. There was a form forgotten to sign and the employee was able to get in contact with me so that I don't miss anything. I came back later than day and met the manager of that shift where he got me in and out quick within a few minutes. When parts aren't available there, they're very quick to order the items and transactions have always been smooth. Final Thoughts: Definitely a good to-go spot for parts for me (plenty of Honda merch available as well for those who want some). read more
