Keith was very helpful and patient. I bought my first car and couldn't be happier! I would recommend.

Update: we went back to trade in a car and worked with Keith. He was great!! Very knowledgeable and really worked with us to try and get us the best deal he could. It was another great experience and I'm sure we will be back for our next car purchase!!! Would highly recommend!!!! read more

I am so happy that I was able to purchase my 2019 Miata from Dublin Mazda. It of course would've been easier for me to get it from one of the more local Mazda dealerships in my area but after simply going to see the car at those dealerships it deterred me from wanting to deal with them. One of the dealerships wouldn't even let me test drive the car (how am I supposed to buy the car when you won't let me drive it!?), another of the dealerships barely had anyone working because I was roaming the lot for a good 15 minutes without even being approached by a salesman, and another was so busy that I was just kept waiting and ended up leaving because "I didn't have an appointment." When I found the Miata I wanted on the Dublin inventory, filled out my information on their site, and got a quick response from their team I knew this was where I would buy my car. My salesman, Bill, was very helpful as I spoke to him on the phone about the exact model/trim/color I wanted and even texted me additional photos of the car so I could confirm before making an appointment to drive all the way to Dublin. I decided to stop by a day before my actual appointment, however, because I had the day free and only waited a short time after checking in before Bill met with my mom and I. The Dublin Mazda dealership is very nicely remodeled and you actually feel comfortable waiting-they also have free Starbucks coffee and bottled water. The salesmen all speak to you in private offices versus another very open Mazda dealership I visited where the desks and computers were all just placed side by side. Bill brought the car down after having moved 5 cars that were in it's way as well and he didn't complain about it. He made the buying process very easy and explained everything and answered any question I had. Our finance person, John, was also very nice and gave me a great rate and let me think about the add-on options like extended warranty and others and if I wanted them or not. I had them keep the car for me until today when I could come pick it up. They had detailed it and Eddie showed me everything I needed to know like connecting my iPhone to the Bluetooth and setting my speaker settings for optimal music playback; basically so I wouldn't have to look through the manual to figure it out. Customer service is everything for me especially when I'm making such a big purchase and Dublin Mazda and the team they have there is one of the best I've dealt with (we also have a Hyundai, a Mini, and a Jeep and their customer service can't compare). I would rather make the 50 minute drive to this dealership for maintenance and oil changes rather than drive 10 minutes to my local Mazda but receive poor customer service. Thank you guys for putting me in my dream car! read more

I came in to the dealership to test some Mazda 3s... I received amazing customer service from Aaron Spiteri who was extremely helpful, thoughtful, and attentive. He was fun and personable and understood what I wanted and what I could afford. He was very patient with me while considering my decision and never gave me the "car salesman" attitude. After deciding to consider my options and call them back with my decision- It was hard receiving a response from the finance department. I'm not sure how they handle their call transfers but I left 3 messages and received no response so I kept calling until I got someone in person (4 days later). This actually ended up as a blessing in disguise as I ended up receiving a better interest rate from another dealership. BUT.... Aaron specifically was a treat and I highly recommend talking to him if you decide on this dealership. Once I had his direct cell- he reached out personally and was able to text me pictures and information and help me decide on good times to come in when he would be there. Yayy for Aaron!! If it wasn't for him- this dealership would have a lower rating in my book. read more

This is a fantastic dealership. My wife was searching for a new Mazda CX-5 and Elvis was the individual helping us out. He went above and beyond to make sure he found us the right car. We drove all the way to this dealership from San Jose. He was patient with us, offered hot chocolate to my impatient son, and had our new car ready go. Amazing to see there is still customer service focused reps in the car industry. Will come back here in the future to shop at this dealership. read more

troy Dunlap was excellent. very helpful made buying a car a easy and fun experience. I highly recommend going to see him

I had the pleasure of working with Troy Dunlop when purchasing my new 2018 CX-3 and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I did extensive research before going into the dealership and was dreading having to buy a new car, however, I am so glad that I was able to work with Troy that day. He was easygoing, knowledgeable, and made purchasing my new car a breeze; all without the pressure that typically comes with the car buying process. He has reached out to me since my purchase as well to ensure everything is going well, which was such a welcomed gesture after making such a large purchase. I cannot recommend Troy enough if you are nervous or hesitant about making the leap on your next car purchase. He made the process seamless and I got an excellent deal to top it off. Thanks, Troy! read more

I had been on a car search for a few months, knowing that at any moment my current car could have died. I came across one of Dublin Mazda's service lender's that had just been posted on Cars.com and called right away. Bill S. answered, was very helpful and was not pushy in a "sales" way at all. Knowing that my commute just to test drive was going to be 45+ minutes, he text me to keep me updated on the current status of the particular car I was looking at (since a few others were looking at it as well). I ended up buying it from him on the spot. Even though it was getting late and cold, he stayed after hours to teach me all the features of the car and make sure I felt comfortable before driving back to San Jose. Fast forward two weeks. I purchased an additional paint and interior protectant so I had to drop it off for the day. Since it was a lender vehicle, one of the floor mats was missing, but Bill was on top of it and set one aside for me. He also took a little more time to teach me about more of the features and adjust the computer settings since I was tired and didn't pay attention the first time :) Anyway, it was a decent experience. No complaints. Everyone was pleasant and I would recommend shopping from them. Thank you Bill!!! Happy sales. read more

Could not have asked for a better experience at Dublin Mazda!!! From my salesman Daniel (a very knowledgeable and pleasant young man. Even took the time to call me the next day just to wish me well and check on my purchase) to the general sales manager Sean and his entire team, the level of professionalism and respect that they place upon the customer is second to none. Long gone are the days of the car buying experience being a seemingly endless process. At Dublin Mazda, they will listen to what the customer wants, do their utmost job in making that happen, all the while extending the family feel to you as the buyer. I myself am a disabled veteran and each and every member of the sales team took the time to personally thank me for my service. It was something simple like that that truly shows how genuine the Dublin Mazda family is. I will not hesitate in returning to Dublin Mazda and sending everyone that I know interested in a new vehicle to them. Bravo Dublin Mazda, you've earned a customer for life. All the best, Chris M. read more

We went to this dealership to buy a used Mazda 6 today for our teenage daughter. My husband had already driven the car and came to an agreeable price. I went to make sure this is the car we want (we have been shopping for a few weeks) and the car seemed great. I confirmed with the sales guy Nick (who did a wonderful job) that we want the car, I would do some banking tomorrow, and my husband could come back to make the purchase tomorrow. However, there was one area of the body which needed a little work and could they fix that. Well out comes the sales manager Reyes who interrupted me on the phone to my husband to show me pictures of his kid on his phone. Then he was all rainbows and butterflies until I said we would come back tomorrow to do paperwork and pay cash. But what happens next is that I ask him about fixing the small area of scratches on the back door and he literally talks to me like I am an idiot. He says "no" repeatedly, "no more negotiating," "the car is already at a rock bottom price," etc. etc. And then THREATENS me that he will send this car off tomorrow to another dealer who will charge thousands more. After this car has been on his lot for 3 months! He then swings his hands in the air and says "I have to go make another deal." And away he went. If he had only done the regular song and dance like all the other dealers do but said he could not fix it - but treated me nicely - I would have still paid the same price. But because he was so rude, disrespectful and demeaning towards me, I refuse to support his paycheck. Even my daughter was absolutely appalled and I explained to her that this is how some men treat women unfortunately - even in America. Hence, I did not buy the car and unfortunately Nick did not make the sale. All because Reyes is an absolute complete jerk who treats women with no respect at all. I have since learned that the only reason he has a job is because he is friends with the General Manager. So, my question to you GM is... why are you keeping this guy on your team? He treats people with disrespect and you lose sales because of it. I am an Executive with an extraordinarily large corporation who knows the meaning of customer service. I would have fired Reyes at that exact moment if he worked for our company. I can read on Yelp and know that he is the cause of allot of your issues and bad reviews. Do yourself a favor and give him his walking papers! And suggest he go to customer service training before he tries to get another sales job! read more

I took my CX5 in for its 45K service yesterday and was helped by Damon. He arranged for Lyft to take me home and let me know when my car was ready. He shared I needed to replace my tires which I knew and had been pricing tires online. He provided a quote which I was pleasantly surprised came in lower than tires online. It took another hour and he arranged for Lyft to pick me up. My car was washed and vacuumed on the inside! All in all excellent customer service. If you need service, work with Damon. Just purchased a Mazda3 for my son from Dublin Mazda. Michael B was the sales person that I dealt with. It was a real pleasure to work with Michael. He is very knowledgeable, affable, and a kind person. During my first meeting, Michael took me for a test drive even though it was pouring outside. By the end of the meeting, he had all the pricing worked out and needless to say, it was the best price that I had seen among several other Bay Area Mazda dealers. After my initial meeting with Michael, I had to wait more than a week to get my finances in order (because I was paying cash for the car). Michael was very patient during the period. When I came back more than a week later, Michael once again took me for a test drive to make sure that the I had no issues with the car I was going to purchase. He was patient in answering all the my questions, both in person as well as via text messages. Overall, I had a really pleasant buying experience from Dublin Mazda, thanks to Michael B. I would definitely buy another vehicle from them. I will also recommend Michael B and Dublin Mazda to my friends and relatives. read more

I bought a vehicle from Dublin Mazda after negotiating with a number of dealerships. Salesman Stephen Butterfield was outstanding! He was honest, kind, straightforward, and fair. He didn't use deceptive tactics. And he gave me the best price of any Mazda dealer in the Bay Area. I would buy a car again from Stephen Butterfield or send any of my friends or family to do so. It was the best car buying experience I have had. read more

I made a visit to Dublin Mazda yesterday to check out a CX-9 that I'd seen online. It turned out not to be quite right for me, but Stephen Butterfield, Brian Heath & Mike Pavia were very professional. Stephen demonstrated respect for the fact that I had done my research & didn't try to talk me into something else. He gave me some options to think about as well as some new information to aide my continued search. Mike Pavia, the used car manager, asked me what I wanted in a car, specifically. I gave him my list & asked, "Do you think you can find it?" His reply was, "This is what I do. I buy cars. Make sure we have your contact information so we can get in touch with you when I do." I don't know that I'll ultimately buy a car from Dublin Mazda, but I appreciated their customer service. read more

I'm a new car buyer and was very impressed with their product specialist, Dan G. I had read some mixed reviews but decided to give them a chance anyway. They did not disappoint. Arrived and was assisted almost immediately. Jesus my service advisor was very pleasant and helpful. They have a texting line to communicate, I sent a message asking to add a service after I left and they totally accommodated me. I also received a video via text by the technician of my vehicle being worked on. I was shown the brake pedals, tires etcetera. I was kept updated through the whole process from start to finish. I'll definitely keep my Mazda 3 in their care. read more

I just got done signing the papers on my brand new 2012 Mazda3 Touring, in the sickest silver color available. I have to say I am beyond words right now thanks to Tony Roberts and Big Mike in Finance. Before I get into why this dealership - and more specifically Tony Roberts - are top class, let me just say that for any other dealership I would have been a challenging sale. I am a veteran of the auto industry and auto sales. I know what dealers do to people most often, and how easily they manage to get over on people. I've seen the tricks, heard the stories and have even been targeted by some of these tactics in recent weeks. I will also say that buying a car right now was NOT something I really wanted to do, but circumstances being what they were I was left with little choice. And being that I was not really wanting to buy a car right now, I hadn't prepared for it at all. I actually found Tony and Dublin Mazda through nobullcarloan.com. Knowing what I know about my own credit history, my finances, my current loan and how car sales work, I knew to expect the worst of news when it came to getting financed. I emailed Tony a few days ago, ran through everything I could that was relevant to getting me a loan and prepared for being told some terrible news. He emailed me back very quickly and assured me that he would be able to help me with very possibly no money down. So I decided to put him to the test. I filled out my credit application yesterday evening. Tony called me this morning and told me he was getting to work on it and needed to ask a few questions. We were on the phone for about five minutes and he told me he should know something within the next 48 hours. 10 minutes later he texted me to tell me he got me a deal. He then emailed me the entire deal structure, including the expected down payment - in my case, nothing - and everything else I needed to know to get my car. I asked when I could come in, I set up an appointment and at about 4:00 PM this afternoon, I and three of my children were sitting in front of him. He set the kids up in the waiting area, where they had access to the large screen TV, free hot cocoa and plenty of space to draw, read and such. Tony told me to expect to be there about two hours, and when I got there we got right to work. He evaluated my trade, showed me some cars and it ended up being that I was able to buy a new car - a 2012 Mazda3 - with very little down. Yes, I could have bought a used car with nothing down. But when I was told I could get a new car instead of a used car I jumped at the chance. He got me all taken care of, handed me off to Mike in Finance and in about two hours and twenty minutes of total time, I was driving off the lot in my new car. I wish I could put into better words just how much this was a pleasure to experience. Tony was up front about everything, was true to his word in every way and never once pressured me into anything I didn't want to do. He gave me options and made sure I was always fully aware of what was going on through the entire process. I had been to two different dealerships, had spoken to many finance managers and internet managers on the phone and all of them had the same thing to say: Come in, fill out a credit app and let's see if we can make a deal. Tony was the total opposite. He made me a deal then had me come in. He answered my questions clearly and honestly, showed me every number I asked for and was with me through the entire purchase process. If you ever need a car - whether you are credit challenged or not - you have GOT to come see Tony Roberts at Dublin Mazda. If you are credit challenged, start at nobullcarloan.com first then let Tony know you filled out an app. If he was able to do for me what he did today I am absolutely certain he can take care of anyone. read more

KEITH!!!!! was the most professional, friendly, easiest car salesman I have ever dealt with. After being held hostage at another dealership with salesman who wouldn't listen to me I went straight to Dublin Mazda where I had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with Keith. Keith fed me, gave me water and coffee (starbucks machine in the building) and sold me the exact car I wanted for the exact price I wanted to pay. We bought a used Sienna minivan here about 2 months ago and I was very pleased with the experience. The van we bought was a local trade in that they had just received. I called the first day it was listed an cars.com and they let me know they were detailing it and it would be ready later that day. The purchase was easily negotiated, with the exception of the warranty. I didn't want one and my husband did, but that isn't the dealerships fault. If you are considering the used car warranty make sure you negotiate that price very aggressively, we were able to get a very substantial discount. As part of our deal the bumper needed repainting and we needed hubcaps that we went back for a few days later, but they did give us a loaner car into use while the work was completed. Minus one star because they didn't use Toyota hubcaps, but part of that is my fault for not getting that written into the contract. Overall, a great experience and. I would definitely buy from here again. read more

There is nothing that I have hated more than buying a new car. In the past, it has been such a draining experience that I dread every minute of it. I was not looking forward to it this year, but my husband insisted I go, since this was going to be my car . The experience at Dublin Mazda was quite a surprise. Our sales man Jim Anthony was great. There was absolutely no pressure and he gave us the time to think, drive the car, and feel comfortable with it before we decided. He knew we were deciding between two different car brands and did not pressure us in the least. We decided on a Mazda CX5 and I couldn't be happier. I came to this place to find a speed3 that I had been looking around for, and they had one of the last around. Shaun and Michael were awesome, they waited after hours for me to come by because I couldn't get off of work (two days in a row). They showed me several different options, and were overall very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Not at all pushy, and very down to earth; not like so many other over the top salesmen who just want to make their dollar. When I ended up choosing the car I wanted, Shaun went out of his way to work with me on financing and giving me an awesome deal, and going through basically every financial institution around to find me the lowest rate, even though I was happy with one of his first offers. The car itself I am very happy with also; came detailed and perfect. Big Mike, who finalized the deal, is a great guy and very knowledgeable, going over anything that I had a question on very patiently. Whether or not you end up buying a car from them, I can say that you will have a great experience. read more

Drove considerably out of my way because the Mazda website indicated that there were several of the car model I was looking for in inventory. My husband and I stopped by a couple of weekends ago. We initially were checking out all of the Miatas at the very front of the entrance. I wasn't surprised that no one approached us, considering the current physical distancing guidelines- so no issues there. However, upon entering the front desk , there were two gentlemen dressed in suit and ties - one of them approached without introducing themselves, and when my husband asked if he can test drive a Mazda, the guy looked at us - up and down as if we were too dressed down to conduct business. He did mention that we can only test drive by appointment, but what I found annoying was that he just left it at that. He didn't ask to take down our names, and just left us feeling very unwelcome. I called the Manager immediately and complained about the discrimination that we experienced. Just because we look comfortable, and we're brown - does not mean that we don't deserve the respect that everyone else does. In this time, your sales team should have serious training on how to treat everyone with respect. Regardless of skin color, how we dress. I would not recommend this place, and would never come here again. By the way, I've bought a car here before. That's another reason why it's upsetting. Train your team better and keep up with the current news! read more

Do not visit or buy from Dublin Mazda. I purchased a Mazda 3 in 2016. Upon purchase, Mazda Dublin assured me two years of rode side assistance with the car. That was 11 months ago. I had a flat tire this weekend. I called Mazda rode side assistance to fix it. Road side assistance told me, you're not registered for road side assistance, call Dublin Mazda to rectify things. I called. Dublin Mazda said, you are not not covered by road side assistance. Dublin Mazda lied to me. Dublin Mazda left me to discover this lie while stranded on the freeway at 1230AM. Thanks Dublin Mazda. Do not trust or buy from Dublin Mazda. ____________________________________________________________________________________ *If you do decide to visit and potentially buy from this dealership (I am not sure why you would buy from them), here is something to tell the sales guy: "If the finance person tries to sell me one extra thing I did not come here to buy (extended warranty, etc), I am NOT buying this car." If the finance person muscles you to buy useless, unwanted crap, stick to to your guns and walk out the front door. You did not go there to buy that stuff. Respect yourself and walk out. Everyone knows the reputation car dealerships have about trying to wrest every dollar they can out of customers. We made an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and a car vacuuming to be done per a coupon that was sent to us in the mail. My wife took the car in and was told she was due for over $650 of "scheduled maintenance" on her vehicle. Many people are unfamiliar with vehicles and what services needs to be done--cars are only becoming more complicated as time goes on! Over the years I've had different employees at this dealership tell me to change my synthetic oil every 4k, 7k, or 10k miles... So, when presented with a list of work that is "scheduled" many opt for it because they think they need it. Of course, much of this work isn't necessary at the time especially if you stay up on the maintenance of your vehicle and are aware of how you drive it. My wife was hesitant on this service at first but was convinced to go for it when they took a few things off and got the price down to $400 (the breakdown included $260 in labor alone). I went in the next day and spoke to the service rep that signed her up for all the additional work and was told "I showed her the list and she signed for the work." I wasn't getting anywhere with him, so I asked to speak to the service manager. He told me, I kid you not, "If you're a mechanic maybe your wife can call you next time before she OKs any work." Unbelievably condescending. Looking at the reviews it looks like almost 1 out of every 5 reviews are three stars are under at this dealership. After 7 years, countless recommendations to others, and two brand new vehicles purchased off this lot, I guess it was my turn to be a "1." I'll be choosing where my next dollar goes, and it isn't a Ken Harvey's dealership. Here's the kicker- after waiting a couple hours for the work to be done the car wasn't even vacuumed! They had to take back and do that real quick. ***One edit-- because this detail I left out. The service manager told me that when his out of state mother takes her Honda in for service she gives him a call to make sure those services are necessary. Thanks for admitting that dealerships oftentimes push unnecessary work and maintenance on their customers! I'm glad your mom has someone looking out for her. read more

When it comes to reviewing the sales experience at a car dealer, it is always difficult to report back with a positive experience - this one was no different. I won't give it one star though, because what can I expect other than headaches, tough conversations, and deceits? It all started when I called them for a price match. Troy picked up and was very friendly. I fed him the numbers and didn't expect to hear from him for a while, since those numbers probably required him to lead an army to battle to get approval for. I was surprised to hear back from within minutes, so that's when I started getting suspicious. Regardless, I decided to take a risk by taking the 45 minute trip to the dealership, because I'd pretty much to do anything to score a deal. By the way, it is important to know that he even sent me a text agreeing to the numbers for the later part of the review. When I got there, I met Troy and he gave me a wonderful test drive just to make sure that I picked the right car. We then returned and went into his office to fill out the paperwork and to run my credit. That whole process took a good 20 minutes. He then returned and gave me the typical speech about cars being easily sold at msrp, in which I immediately knew that bad news was coming. He backed out of the deal that he confirmed to me via text. This obviously made me upset, because he already ran my credit and everything. Being a rational guy, I told him a deal is a deal - there is no deal if you're going to back out of what you promised me. He brought his manager in and I told him the same thing. After the manager refused, I promptly told him that I will go to the original dealership that gave me the pricing. The manager told me this: don't buy because of price; buy because of the people. I didn't want to be rude, but I thought to myself - if I want to buy because of the people, then I should take my business to people who don't back out of deals!!! As I walked out the door towards my car, their price kept coming down and down. It pretty much went down to the point where the difference was immaterial, but there was no way I was going to give business to people who lied to get me to come. The main things that made me upset was that they ran my credit BEFORE revealing their trickery. It was probably all an elaborate scheme to get me to waste as much time as possible before pulling the rug underneath me. But I was not having it. Even if they ended up offering me the same price, I wouldn't give my business to people who try to take advantage of people. That's not good business; especially if an "agreement" was made beforehand. I suspect Troy didn't really ask for his managers approval after I made the initial call. I will only fault Troy for that and for revealing the lie after running my credit, but he still tried to rectify the situation to the best of his ability. Nevertheless, a deal is a deal, so don't come here expecting them to honor any deal NOT made in person. They pretty much say anything to get you to come. Luckily, the other dealer honored our deal and even added some nice gifts on top of it due to the situation I faced over here. So to that, I thank you Dublin Mazda!
