If it was based on to the Sales experience alone I would give them a 5 star rating but unfortunately there's more to it than just that. Troy was absolutely outstanding. He made the whole process so easy and comfortable. When it came to financing John was a complete pleasure to work with. They both would get 5 stars in my book. Customer service and the detailing department is a different story. Here is when, where and why the 3 stars come in: I purchased a used vehicle (so I know the car won't be perfect) however I do have standards. When purchasing the vehicle, the gas tank was empty so I asked them to fill it. They said since it's a used car, they can only give me a half tank of gas. I then asked for the keyless key battery to be changed because it was dead and I only received one key. They tried to charge me for the battery. I told them that I'm not going to pay for that and so they said we will put in a battery in free of charge but that it wasn't the right size so they can't guarantee it will work or last. Then comes the car cleaning- I asked for it to be detailed because the car needed it. It looks they they just drove it through the gas station car wash. Please see pictures with proof that they didn't even touch the interior which I specifically asked for (not to mention the children's hand prints of dirt that are all over the cloth as well- I don't have children). The pictures are from day of "detailing". So disappointed. read more

I am truly amazed by the professional courtesy, competence and level of commitment to customer service by Dave Brown and his group at Dublin Mazda. I'm grateful for the hassle-free and headache-less experience of purchasing the car, and was quite contented with the entire process. I have to admit car shopping is my least favorite thing to do, and my experience with Dublin Mazda was amazing! It feels great to walk into a dealership, and get greeted with knowledgeable staff and a low pressure enviroment!! . A bonus is the dealership is beautiful!! The General Manager, Dave Brown was fantastic as well. He helped me get a great financing deal with some excellent extended coverage packages which he gave me a good price on!! Several members of the staff stopped by and chatted with me about my car and it was easy to see that they just have a great team. Every step of the buying process was easy. If you are in the market for a new or used car, I highly recommend stopping by Dublin Mazda!! read more

I love this dealership! I loved my first Mazda3 so much I had to come back and take a look at the 2015 Mazda3 itouring hatchback! Long story short I fell in love and now I'm the proud owner of a brand new Mazda! Special thanks to my salesman Juan and the finance manager John! Made the process of buying a vehicle quick and easy. The service department was always ready to help when I brought my previous Mazda in! I will look forward to getting my car serviced here! Thanks again!! read more

I had a great experience purchasing my new Miata from Dublin Mazda. My purchase required a plane flight and a long drive home, so I was more concerned then usual about making sure everything would go smoothly. Keith Morita and George were very helpful over the phone in advance and gave me confidence in my plans. They even reported a very minor knick in the paint in advance, sent pictures and arranged in advance to have it repaired. The pickup day was a crowded Saturday at the dealership but Keith did a great job juggling customers and getting me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Overall it was a very nice experience and I would certainly recommend this dealer to friends. read more

Dreading the car buying experience where you spend 8 hours at the delearship nickel and diming and getting haggled into every purchase option imaginable, I was extremely pleased with the experience at Dublin Mazda. In February I had a rental from Hertz for a Mazda CX-9. I've never driven a Mazda and how I got so lucky to get a SUV rental, I don't know. I loved it so much that I decided to check out the Consumer Reports reviews and look into getting one of my own. My 2001 Honda Accord with manual locks and windows (yes, I realize there are very few of these even still around) was, well, let's just say embarassing. Stephen Butterfield, Sales Consultant made me feel very comfortable from the start. He allowed me as much time as I needed to try out a few options until I made my decision to purchase a 2011 CX-9 Touring. Even when I didn't have my husband's full buy into the car purchase, Stephen and Reyes offered to allow me to take the car home overnight. Next day, I returned with my husband and 3 hours later drove off with my new car. I was impressed by the time in negotiation and financing department. I was already done with all the sign-offs and the only thing I was still waiting for was the car detail! Now, that's fast... I look forward to the same experience with their shop department this week. I have to take it in for a few repairs that were not picked up in the inspection, but I expect I will have the same positive experience as I did when I purchased the car. ('ll update this review after the services) I definately recommend to everyone who wants a pleasant experience in purchasing a car. read more

I am surprised to see anything below 5 stars for this dealer. Being an enthusiast in the mazda community, Its hard to find a dealer who you can trust with your baby. Especially one that will do warranty work if you have little things like an Intake or exhaust, However Ken Harvey welcomed me with open arms! I do all maintenance here at this dealer and let me tell you they always try to go above and beyond with all customers. recently I took my car in on a busy Saturday, and they said it should be just about 2 hours to do my oil change, and wash my car.. TALK ABOUT SERVICE! a car wash and a oil change?? the price was good esp. for synthetic oil and they had the car finished in under 70 minutes. If you are ever worried about your car this dealer will take care of you. I will be going back to buy my wife her mazda6 Skyactiv-D next year as they have earned my business over and over! Speak with Carlos in parts (works weekdays) and Paul in service. both are great easy going people that provide Excellent service. read more

I recently went to Dublin Mazda for the first time, and had a great experience. I worked with Jim Anthony in sales, and although new to the Mazda dealership, showed extensive knowledge of the 2013 Mazdaspeed3 I was looking at, along with knowledge of close comparison cars. Without hesitation, they put me in the car for a test drive (I hate when people hesitate because I'm young). I had already driven one the day previous at another Mazda dealer, but was not happy with the pushy service, so I thought I would try Dublin. I knew I wanted the car, but initially I wasn't offered what I wanted for my trade in. Reyes Garcia, the sales manager, came through and got me what I wanted for my trade in, making it an easy decision for me. The following day when I went to sign paperwork was when I actually decided on my color choice, I chose a white one that was $200 more than the silver one I looked at due to the pearl flake in the paint. Reyes told me they would give the white one to me for the same price. It may not sound like much, but he did this for me without me saying anything. I also had a bit of time with John Sutton in the finance department. He was great to work with, and very honest of his intention on the up-selling of warranty, etc. He showed me what they had to offer, I declined everything and that was it, no pushing, he just presented the facts. The only thing I opted for was a 5 year Xzilon exterior and interior protectant. This was worth it to me due to the sap found on my car on a daily basis from the pine trees in my parking lot. Overall I had a great experience, superb service on all ends, and very fast to make anything happen to get you in the car you want. I would recommend them to anyone I know,or don't know. Thanks Jim, Reyes, and John. I can honestly say I had the best experience I've ever had this time around buying a vehicle, and this is the 8th time for me. read more

I bought a car at Mazda and had a great experience. I was looking for a sports car and I took a couple of weeks to do some research. Rebekah helped me and she was very knowledgeable and she never pressured us into purchasing. She was more than willing to wait until we were ready to make a purchase. We popped in a couple of times without any notice and she always made herself available for more questions. When we finally decided to make the purchase Rebekah and her manager Garth and John were very helpful in finishing closing up the deal. I'll definitely come back to Dublin Mazda for any future car purchase. read more

Garth Wall is the MAN! I was enlisted by my friend Leisa Garcia to help her get a great deal on her new CX-5. He absolutely did not disappoint. I had reached out to him via phone then email with the needs list. He contacted my friend we made the appointment and he had us in and out within an hour. It would have been faster but the F&I office is a busy place. Because Garth is so awesome he got us lunch while we waited. I can't say enough nice things about my (our) experience at this Harvey Family Dealership. As a former car dealership employee I really appreciated the company culture and friendly environment. It's clear that relationships matter here! I will definitely refer family, friends, etc to come down and meet Garth and the professional crew at Taz Harvey's Dublin Mazda! And no I'm not a paid endorser just another educated, satisfied customer. read more

I visited this dealership one week ago, intending to shop for a CX-5. My younger brother (mid-50s) and his son (mid-20s with dreds) were with me. We were not greeted when we entered the showroom, nor was there any help offered by a salesperson. After 20 minutes of examining the CX-5 on our own and never, ever being acknowledged, we left. My experience at the Honda dealership just across the parking lot was completely different. I hadn't even crossed the door's threshold before I was greeted by Ravi and invited into the showroom. Within the next 15 minutes I was in a CR-V (the other car I was considering) taking a test drive. Upon my return, Ravi presented me with figures to consider on either leasing or buying the car. Although I did not leave the dealership with a car, I made the point to thank Ravi for taking me, a black woman with money to buy a car, SERIOUSLY. read more

I bought a used Mazda here this week and overall it was a great experience...about as painless as shopping for/buying a used car can be. With the exception of some very small undisclosed fees (less than $50) and unexpected financing paperwork despite the fact that we were paying cash for the car upfront, it was a straightforward interaction. Everyone at the dealership was incredibly nice! It was a very friendly environment, much more so than I had experienced while shopping around at other dealers to find the right car for me. Special huge shout-out to Troy, who was really great and spent extra time walking me through how to use all the features of my car. He really went out of his way to make it a great experience for me! I am super happy with my Mazda CX-5, and I know that I will love this car for a long time to come. read more

Backstory... I had a terrible experience at San Francisco Mazda and left with my car having problems it didnt have when I went in. They said they would order a part I needed and never called back. I decided to bring my car to Dublin instead. I was blown away by how great the customer service was! Kristen was so accomedating and she went above and beyond for me and made sure I was well taken care of, in addition to my car. They had my part in the next day and got me in and out in an hour, which is HUGE because I have waited 5 hours in SF for just a basic service and oil change:( I am so relieved I have found a reliable place to bring my car from now on! This peace of mind means a lot to me! Side note... Everyone that worked there was super sweet to my daughter! read more

Phenomenal experience here at Dublin Mazda. I purchased my new CX-5 here back in October 2020 and from start to finish everyone was so helpful and accommodating. They have a clean and modern office with friendly employees. I was beyond impressed with the servicing here as well. Great service, especially a lady who helped me at parts department and sales rep giving me information on new and pre-owned car. After getting terrible terrible customer service at Capitol Mazda in San Jose (which is closer to my house), I visited Dublin Mazda to see if I can get a parts for my Mazda with reasonable price. Initially I wasn't there to talk to sales person at all but I ended up talking with them because of the very transparent quote, very reasonable price, clear explanation and sincere service at parts department. Kudos to their customer service. If I'm buying next Mazda, I know where to go now. read more

This past weekend I bought my 2014 Mazda 6 from here. I started my car hunt by shopping around at different Mazda dealerships in the area to make sure I was getting the best price and service. Not even one of the other dealerships were able to compete with this one. They gave me the best price for my car and no one else was able to beat their offer. I worked with Bruce Bode, Mike Davis, and Reyes Garcia. Ask for any of them and you will be taken care of. They treated me with respect and made the whole car buying process fun and painless. Even the general manager came out to say hi and make sure I was being taken care of! That usually only happens if there's a problem. Over all I had a great experience at Dublin Mazda and encourage any one to who is ready to buy a car to stop by here... you won't regret it. read more

I was very happy with my experience at Dublin Mazda with Garth Wall. I found Dublin Mazda through truecar.com. Once the website recommended 2-3 dealerships within my area, Garth immediately reached out to me and notified me of their stock in regards to what I was looking for. He was able to quickly provide me quotations for multiple cars with the requested options and set up an appointment for me on the weekend. When I came in to the dealership, Garth was very knowledgeable of the car, answered all my questions upfront and was awesome to deal with. He was patient with all the questions I asked and if was unsure of the question he pulled in help from management to get the correct answer. After I had settled on the car and went ahead with the purchase I had trouble getting insurance due to the availability of my insurance agent. Garth suggested that I could leave the car there, take BART later in the week (since i lived in Fremont) and that he would pick me up! Two days later after I had purchased my insurance, Garth sure enough picked me up from BART, so that I could drive my car home! Garth Wall was definitely a great to work with in my search for my new car. I am a happy new Mazda6 owner and recommend Garth and the guys at Dublin Mazda if you are interested in doing business with honest and professional guys! read more

I just bought a car here today... And it was the greatest experience ever! They were very nice, accommodating, and gave me a really amazing deal on the exact car that I wanted! My salesperson, Lance, was really attentive and strived to get me the best deal possible! And Michael B. was really great by showing all the features in my car and helping me personalize some of the new settings! Overall, I had a wonderful experience! Disappointing experience. The initial purchase of our car went smoothly enough then things went down hill from there. First off the back seat headrests were missing when we purchased the car. Since we rarely use the back seat we didn't even notice at first so a few weeks went by before I notified Dublin Mazda. They told us there was nothing they could do and disputed the fact that the were missing at the time of purchase because the paperwork stated everything was there. I told them the paperwork was wrong because the were definitely not there but they simply didn't believe us. To add insult to injury they told us we could purchase new ones at "dealer cost" which was $186 for two lousy head rests! I would up getting them online for 70 bucks. Next they screwed up our paperwork so I never received the first bill from the bank. I kept calling our finance person but eventually found out she didn't work there anymore. A bunch of calls later I was finally able to sort things out with the bank but not before we missed the first payment. Lastly and maybe most frustrating of all is the fact that the car makes a bunch of squeaking noises that were present from day 1. At the first service I told them about the noises but they said they couldn't hear them and I needed to come back and go on a ride with the mechanic which is a total inconvenience. It's hard to believe they can't hear the noises since they are present every time the door locks engage, you back up or go over some bumps. read more

had a good/smooth sales experience a couple years ago, but it has been the consistent, positive experience with the service department that really deserves a shout-out... we have 2 mazdas -one pretty new and the other quite aged- and Dublin Mazda has gone the extra mile for us on both cars, not only the warrantied one we bought from them. Today I purchased a Mazda 6. The experience from start to finish exceeded my expectations. The level of service provided from Nicholas Luzvey was absolutley amazing!! Nicholas is humble and patient, and most all caring. From the first time I contacted Nicholas all the way to the end of the sale was exceptional. Nicholas is not your regular/average salesman. Nicholas did a great job of uncovering my needs, and what I really expected from a new auto purchase. As I am a Manager for a large Credit Union in the Bay Area I know the importance of educating individuals in regards to product and services, and Nicolas did just that. Nicholas was not overbearing, pushy, or SLEEZY. I was able to tell from his demeanor he wanted to ensure that this was the right vehicle for me, and that the number were to my budget. My Uncle was with because he is a mechanic, and was so impressed with the high level of service Nicholas provided. My Uncle is really hard to please and impress, so for him to say that Nicholas was great, was astonishing. My Uncle consistently said "Nicholas is great, and you can tell he is a good guy". Even after the purchase was final, Nicolas wanted to ensure that I was driving off the lot satisfied. He spent an additional 40 minutes with me to go every feature that the car had to ensure that I was comfortable. Rosie was the finance Manager. She is great, and very welcoming. She made the documentation process seamless, and stress free. If you're in market for a new vehicle go to Mazda and ask for Nicholas Luzvey. He is your guy. If you have to wait for him, WAIT, he is well worth it. read more

This is a review of the SERVICE department. I took my 2014 Mazda 3 in for a 75,000 mile service on 5/21/18. I made an appointment but waited over 20 min in line for a service member. I am not sure why it took so long, perhaps the service department is understaffed. I explained that my car needed a regular service that was included in the service contract I purchased when I bought the car. In addition, I asked for new windshield wipers and an estimate to replace my tires. The gentleman took the odometer reading and I was sent on my way. Over an hour later, I received a call. I was told my car's odometer read 78,000 miles and that my last paid service was for 75,000 miles. I said, ok, go a head and do the 75,000 service. I was told he would not do it because the odometer read 78,000 miles. WHAT!? I paid for the service when I bought the car! I asked him why he couldn't do a service I already paid for!?! Because the car was at 78,000 miles and not 75,000 miles. BUT, I already PAID for it!!!!! Nope! I told them to go a head and do a basic. When I went to pick up the car, I had to wait again. The service member was quick to tell me the quote on the tires. Btw, these were very expensive tires and I had no intension of buying them from the service department after they wouldn't do the PREPAID service on my car. Finally, I got my car, but a light indicating that the windshield wiper fluid was low was still ON. I went back into the service department to find out if they could reset the indicator. Another 15 min passes before the same service member came and told me, "Oh, yeah I forgot, it wouldn't reset". I asked him about my extended warranty and if the light sensor could be fixed (remember I bought the car AT this dealer). He said, "you will have to find your paperwork to see if you have warranty". "You mean you can't look it up?" No, he basically told me to find my paperwork. I left, with my light on. The kicker was when I went to use my windshield wipers. Did they change them per my VERY SPECIFIC request??? No, streaks all over my windshield. #1 NEVER buy a service contract from this dealer #2 Don't expect this dealer and service department to honor your service contract if they can use a technicality to get out of it. #3 Build extra time in your schedule to wait inline when you drop the car and pick it up. #4 Make sure they actually do everything you ask them to do. #5 Keep your contract handy because they can't answer any questions about your warranty if you have an issue. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Had a simple question about whether or not you need to reprogram a key fob after changing the battery for my 2015 Mazda 3. Spoke to 2 people at different times at Dublin who both said yes a reprogram is necessary, and that they charge $120. You'd also have to wait 90 minutes for the battery change. Called Fremont and Concord locations, they said you do not need to reprogram the fob and they would do the battery change for almost free in a matter of minutes. I went with the advice from Fremont/Concord and changed the battery myself. Lo and behold, they were right and the fobs work good as new. Dublin was completely wrong and tried to suck $120 out of my pocket for something I did myself. If Dublin is lying and charging for this kind of service, imagine what they are doing with actual problems! DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

I just purchased my Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve at another Mazda Dealership.  I have used Dublin Mazda for all my service needs for my previous Mazda 3 GT.  The service felt. Has always been very professional and informative.  My new CX-5 had been broken into and my window was broken along with the standard vent window.  After speaking with other window repair local shops, I decided to stick with Dublin Mazda.  The price was the same as other vendors.  Heather Brown was my service provider.  The window needed to be ordered and took a couple of days to repair, due to a part arriving later than anticipated.  Heather was very professional, courteous and friendly.  Our window was repaired perfectly and the customer service dept. continues to go above and beyond.  The only reason I didn't by my Mazda CX-5 at Dublin Mazda was because they didn't have my particular car in stock, however, I will continue to use Dublin Mazda for my service needs. read more

I was very apprehensive about going to a dealership but since my boyfriend know Reyes we went. It was a Saturday and they were pretty busy. We already knew what car we were looking for. In my experience that's a record! Reyes, Michael L and John were very professional and nice but not pushy. John called us again on Monday to let us know that they were able to get a better rate for the car loan! What more could you ask for? Even Michael called to see how everything is with the car. After researching a couple of different auto makes and models, my husband and I decided that the Mazda CX-9 would best suit our needs and price range. So, in the late afternoon on August 3rd, we ventured into Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda. We first walked around the lot and looked at what was available. We really appreciated the fact that we were not immediately met by a salesman. We wanted time to discuss all the options in private before we made a final decision. When we were ready, we entered the showroom and were introduced to Garth Wall, the Fleet Manager. It had been 10 years since we bought a new vehicle. So many things have changed since then. Garth was terrific. He was very patient and understanding of our situation. He explained the differences between the models, helped us to decide what model would best suit our needs and answered all of our questions. We went over all the rebates and items that would be added in the overall package. Such as Itrax Vehicle Recovery System, Cilajet Aviation Grade Automotive Sealant to name a few. As part of their incentive program, Mazda is paying for the first 2 installment payments. With the help of Garth and John Sutfin, the Finance Director, we worked out all the financial issues to our satisfaction. Let me add that both Garth and John went the extra, extra mile. Because we didn't get there until late in the afternoon, by the time we completed the sale and all the pertinent paperwork, it was well past closing time. I would say it was around 10:00pm before we completely finished. We were very impressed with their dedication to their customers and the fact that they didn't mind giving up a few extra hours of personal time. Within a day or so, Garth followed up with us via an e-mail video. He wanted to check in with us and offered his help in case we had any questions or concerns. Buying a vehicle can be a stressful process. Garth and John made it extremely comfortable for us. We felt an immediate friendship with them and appreciate all their time and efforts on our behalf. Plus, I really love my new CX-9. It drives like a dream, lots of power, has plenty of seats (7) and more than adequate storage space. I'm still learning about what all the buttons do, but everything in good time. Thanks to all at Dublin Mazda. read more

Dear customers I purchased a Mazda CX-5 last March 2018, almost immediately I had error codes going off on my dashboard from braking, cruise control and visibility camera. I have taken my car in on five different occasions and they have even replaced the camera on my new car and yet it keeps happening. In October it happen again and this time I called General Manager Dave Brown, he promised me if it happen again I was to bring in car and he would call manufacturer rep and get them involved, well it happen again in January took car in could find nothing wrong and wanted to send me on my way yet again. I spoke with Gen. Mgr. Dave Brown and we exchanged words and he told me as far as he was concerned it was fixed, I then reminded him of our conversation in October he told me he did not recall (I reminded him in great detail). He appeared to not care at all, I became frustrated and remind him again what he had promised by this time I had raised my voice out of frustration, he told me I was no longer welcome there to have my car serviced, and then to add insult to injury he told me he needed to leave and pick up his daughter from school (at 3:00pm during business hours) that's why he wanted to just get rid of me so he could attend to his personal life during business hours, never mind that I spent $30,000 on a brand new vehicle (lemon)! Let me just say that the service department is great they did their best it's the general manager Dave Brown that gives Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda a bad name by not honoring his word. I am now forced to take my car all the way to Concord when the error codes go off. It is a terrible inconvenience, not to say expensive every time I have to leave work for hours to take my NEW car in, isn't that why we buy a new car so not to have problems???? PS. I called Mazda Corp. They took my complaint and told me the could do nothing they are all individually owned. BUYERS BEWARE OF DUBLIN MAZDA!!!!! read more

Alex (sales manager) and Robert are very nice sales. Dublin Mazda provide competitive price in Bay Area.

After months of car shopping, we found a car in Dublin that we were very interested in. We contacted the dealership online and were followed up with by Product Specialist, Troy Dunlop. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had about the vehicle, unlike every other salesman we experienced before. The pre-approval process was easy and Troy even juggled answering my calls and texts and my boyfriends calls easily. After deciding this was the car we wanted to get, we drove almost 3 hours just to see the vehicle. Troy had it ready at the front upon arrival for us to test drive. After the test drive, we were sold and the paperwork started. Troy and Harry answered all our questions while we waited for the car to be detailed. After the paperwork was done, my car was waiting for me and Troy took the time to explain the features of the vehicle, while I sat in the vehicle and he was outside. Dublin Mazda practiced all the COVID-19 safety protocols requested of businesses that reopened. We couldn't be more happy with our purchase and the service we received at Dublin Mazda. After visiting countless dealerships and being met with subpar customer service, we were super impressed with the knowledge and service Troy offered us. The 3 hour drive home was well worth it and we would be happy to do it again if we were in the market for another vehicle.
