My husband and I went through Costco to purchase our new 2014 CX5 and were blessed with the service we received from Dubln Mazda. Jason K. was an absolute pleasure to work with and, hands down, would be the reason I would return to Dublin Mazda in the future. The Dublin Mazda staff did all they could to find exactly what we were looking for and we're extremely happy with our purchase. read more

I visited the Dublin Mazda dealership yesterday after making an appointment with their service department for an oil change and to get my key batteries replaced. The woman who helped me make the appointment by phone was very friendly and helpful. I showed up for my appointment to a friendly gentleman who checked me in. After checking me in, he said I was almost due for my 30k mile service. For the 30k service, he presented me with three packages ranging from $505-666 and a list of services each package provides. Since I was close, but not quite at 30k miles and my husband can do things that were on that list, (i.e., change filters,) I told him I'd take it home, show it to him, and make another appointment when I knew exactly what we needed. His demeanor changed from friendly to annoyed. He huffed and asked "well, then why are you even here?" I responded, "I'm here for my appointment. It's for an oil change and to get my key batteries replaced." My first thought was, "not only did I mention this upon pulling up, but isn't it in your system?" He responded something along the lines of "you're here for a service... so, which one?" As if I had to choose one of the packages. I repeated, "I'm here to get an oil change and to get my key batteries replaced." Annoyed and seemingly confused as to why I wasn't biting, he resigned and told me the oil change would be $90. I said that seemed high and told him I'd go elsewhere, and our exchange ended. I then went down the street and got a full synthetic oil, oil change for $52 at Midas. It took 30 minutes. The technician told me about my dirty filters, but gave me the option to get them replaced rather than acting as if I had to do it right there and then. He did not make me feel like an idiot for opting out of this service and he also agreed that myself or my husband could replace them on our own. His service was fast, straight forward, and I was treated respectfully. At Dublin Mazda, I was made to feel that by virtue of showing up, I owed them something vs. the other way around. There was no understanding from the service man that I called ahead, made an appointment, and expected just that to get done. Furthermore, I was criticized for coming in the first place, as implied in the "well, why are you even here?" and then again for essentially saying "thank you, but no thanks right now," even though it's normal and well within the customer's right to agree or disagree to anything the service provider offers. These principles all seem so simple and straight forward, and yet it didn't feel that way at Dublin Mazda. This is why I'm writing my third ever yelp review (the first one that is negative) and hoping that fundamental customer service skills are carried forward in the future. It's also why I will not return or do future business with Dublin Mazda. Which is unfortunate, because I'm a loyal customer (currently on my third Mazda), 8-months pregnant with our second child, and planned to eventually upgrade to a bigger model to accommodate. read more

I purchased a certified pre-owned 2016 Mazda CX-5 from Dublin Mazda about two weeks ago and can't get over how great of an experience it was. I worked with Troy Dunlop to schedule the initial test drive, then came back in a few days later to finalize the trade-in and purchase. The entire process went so smooth. Troy was able to answer all of my questions and negotiate for the value of my trade-in. So happy with my new car! read more

When I first started my car search, Dublin Mazda wasn't on my radar since they're pretty far from Burlingame. However, a quick search on truecar.com (highly recommend them as well) showed that they were offering the lowest price for the Mazda 3 2014 that I was interested in. I got in contact with Mike from the sales department, who was friendly and informative. This was my very first time buying a car, and Mike really made the process simple and easy to understand. He never pressured me to buy or even to come in like other salespeople do, which I really respected. I told him exactly what I wanted and he gave me a quote and let me get in touch again when I was ready to buy. The buying and finance process was very smooth and everyone there was super nice (I guess they have to be if you're spending that much money ;). They had to trade for the make and color that I wanted and was happy to hear they don't charge trading fees. I'm actually kind of bummed that I live so far away from the dealership, otherwise I would definitely go to them for my maintenance. Thanks for everything, Mike! read more

Let's NOT make a deal??? Went to Dublin Mazda today with my husband to upgrade our 2015 CX9 which is in very good condition. From the start it seemed as if salesman Roger Thurman was not interesting in selling us a car or doing any type of business with us. He kept feeding us undesirable information and underhanded offers in order to persuade us to leave. His tactics were very unprofessional and dishonest. First of all, we did not show up in a 1994 Ford vehicle, we were Mazda owners! Can we get a little respect? He gave us a ridiculous low ball offer on our CX9 trade-in. Seeing our concern he quickly stated that we may get more money if we sold it to someone else ourselves and paused as if waiting for us to exit. We still wanted the car that we just picked out and stayed longer than we probably should have. Of course the price on the window was nonnegotiable. Another accept my BS or leave opportunity. Here's the kicker- if we accept his ridiculous terms, we would have to put down "at least $10,000". Really Roger? He did not run our credit or discuss any financing, yet we are hearing the minimum down payment. At this point it was made very clear that Roger was pushing us out of dealership via unfair terms and deceptive numbers. Discriminatory or just plain sleazy? I would not recommend buying a car from Dublin Mazda. read more

This was our first stop when we started looking for cars. We originally came here looking for a used car we saw online but saw a new Mazda 6 which we were really drawn to. Michael Leung helped us and we loved how he was not at all pushy or aggressive. He was very informative and spent a lot of time with us explaining how a lease worked. We then realized what a great option it was for us. We shopped around at other dealerships (even another Mazda dealership), but after 2 days of looking, we decided to go back to Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda. We liked how Michael quoted us the best deal right off the bat. Other places would quote us high to start then negotiate down but the numbers still weren't as good. Since Michael was going to be off on the day we were going back, he assured us that the manager would make sure we were taken care of. The manager introduced us to Jim Anthony who was just as helpful and informative as Michael. He made sure we were happy with the price and explained every detail and feature of the car. Overall, our experience with this dealership was excellent and would highly recommend them. read more

The worst car experience of my life (after purchasing cars for 35 years)! I coordinated with the sales office (won't name the car salesman) at the price, financing arrangements and a scheduled pickup time for the car ONLY TO BE TOLD that the car had been sold to someone else. Why waste my time and travel (was driving over 60 miles to get the car) if you were simply going to allow some other customer to just come in and by the car. I had agreed to pay the asking price so it was not like they were getting more money from someone else. I will never recommend nor go anywhere near this dealership again and I would suggest that unless you are there in person and taking the car with you, don't trust that even with an agreement in place that you will have that car waiting when you show up. The industry already has a shadowy reputation and actions like this do not help the cause. Read the other reviews closely, there is a trend setting up over time. read more

January 2020 update. After 6.5 years of trusty service (82k miles without a *single* repair being needed), I decided to replace the CX-5 I bought back in 2013. I went back to Dublin Mazda. Since Tom had retired, I was helped by Roger in sales. The first day I simply took a quick test drive of the new CX-30 because I was curious about it. About 3 weeks later, Roger and I had quick email back and forth regarding pricing. After agreeing to a price, I came in to purchase the CX-30. It took only 30 minutes from the time sitting down with Roger to me driving off with my new car. Completely painless car buying experience and Roger was a tremendous help with the questions I had early on in the process. read more

Tonight I had the most painless car buying experience I've ever had. Knowing that the dealership closed at 8:00, Bruce met with me at 7:30 anyway. After allowing me to take the Mazda3 out on my own, I was promptly greeted with a fair price for my trade in. After little need for deliberation, I was in and out of Dublin Mazda with my new car and financials squared away in a mere hour and a half. At no point did Bruce or Reyes make me feel rushed, as they answered all of my questions efficiently and with ease. The gentleman in financials (blanking on his name :( ) was very prompt and helpful as well. Thank you, folks at Dublin Mazda. You make buying cars fun! :) read more

I just purchased a Used 2006 Dodge Ram Truck from them this week. After Searching for that truck for a month, Dublin Mazda had what I was looking for. Meet with Mike their salesman On a thursday to look at he truck (was very Clean!) came back on Friday to test drive and Purchase. The truck had problems on the first test drive (Fuel Pump going bad and a Fuel injector!) and threw a check engine light. Knowing that the truck had issues, I still purchased it. Mike and the sales team made it almost painless to purchase. (it is CAR SALES!) and was able to get a 1month warranty on the vehicle. Brought the truck back to them this week and Jesse and the Service crew took care of all the issues I Had! Didn't even charge me the $100 deductible that's stated on the Warranty!! Very Happy with the way They treated me!! Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that the truck only had 1/4 tank of gas @ purchase and was not Filled up!! ( I did just drop $15,000 on a truck!!!) could have filled it up!!! Just saying!! read more

Fantastic buying experience at Dublin Mazda today. I had the best experience at this dealership! Suman Acharya is a top-notch sales advisor who is transparent, kind, and honest. First, I asked for coffee which at the time was not available due to a broken coffee machine or some kind of a restriction, but Suman went out of his way to get me one. I came in knowing what car I wanted for my daughter - CX5 Grand Touring - and he worked with me to make it work without pressuring me or being dishonest. I even thought it was me who pressured Suman to give me the best deal - which he did. I had been to a few Mazda dealerships in search of a replacement car for my daughter, Suman gave me the best service possible as well as Harry, the Finance Manager. I highly recommend this dealership and I don't do that often! Everyone skipped lunch ( - although so did I) to help me as well as other customers without an attitude or a single complaint. My 1.5 round-trip drive to Dublin Mazda was worth it. My daughter loves her new car! I have no doubt these same awesome guys will take care of me and prospective car buyers in the future! Smooth transaction and absolutely best car buying experience. Thanks Suman and Harry! You guys are rock stars! read more

Wife knew what she wanted, we called ahead to make sure they had it. We drove 1.5 hours there to find our they didn't have either of the 2 I asked for? One sold 24 hrs before we called and they didn't know, the other one the owners wife took for the weekend. Then when we arrived the kept putting us in used cars when we wanted a new one. I guess they didn't want to sell us a new car. We drove 20mins to Concord and bought the new car for cheaper than the used car Dublin was trying to sell us. Beware and do your homework before you have to waste your time at this dealership! read more

Buying a car from Dublin Mazda was such a great overall experience. Everything from our first call to discuss inventory and price all the way through to our final walk-through of the car was a smooth, easy, and stress free process! Had the opportunity to work with Ken Harvey and Troy, who were both extremely knowledgeable and fair. Even our paperwork with finance was a good experience. I really appreciated how trustworthy, transparent, and upfront all of the staff were throughout the whole process. This was the absolute easiest car buying process and definitely worth the extra trip to the East Bay. Thank you Dublin Mazda!! read more

Let me start this by saying that I work at a car dealership in San Jose. Dublin Mazda offered a great experience that made me feel totally comfortable in the new car buying process. I was searching for a specific trim and color combination in a 2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata, one that was rare in California given the short production cycle of 2018 MX-5s. Luckily, Dublin Mazda had one that matched what I was after. I sent a request for an online quote and got a response the next day with an attractive price tag. When I got to the dealership I was greeted by Keith Morita who was very friendly and asked if I needed help with anything. The salesman I was going to see hit a snag and was running late. Keith took me inside and offered water and coffee while we found the information and keys for the Miata I was interested in. The showroom is very clean and comfortable, plenty of space to sit and relax while waiting for your vehicle to be serviced or your salesperson to find the new Mazda you want. Keith gave me time to check out the car and answer any questions I had, then we went for a test drive. He was very personable and knowledgeable of the Miata. The test drive Keith took me on was very nice, a good mix of freeway and city to get a real understanding of the car. Keith was very patient and personable, he shared his experiences with his own Miata and some of his life experiences. After getting back I was pretty interested and wanted to talk numbers. We talked numbers and Keith came back with a good one. He was able to get me a good idea of monthly payments and cost break down. It took some back and forth to get the insurance side of things worked out due to the fact that I'm still on my parents insurance policy. After getting squared away it was time to talk to Rosie, the finance manager. Rosie, just like Keith and the other salesman I spoke to, Troy, was very friendly and informative. I left with the 2018 Miata of my dreams, a free goody bag and my first scheduled maintenance. Oh yeah, the process from arriving to leaving was about 5 hours. Thanks again Keith and Rosie. We just recently bought the CX-5 and I can't stress enough how smooth the process was! I was very particular with what I wanted, and I was not familiar with Mazda but Keith was seriously THE BEST! He took time to really understand what I was looking for, and once we talked about the features that I wanted, he explained them inside the car (I mean in detail, which we appreciated). I'm honestly just blown away by his customer service! We've been to many dealerships and it always feels like they don't really care about you, just the sale. This is definitely NOT the case with Keith. We were hungry and he even went above and beyond by sharing his snack (made my his wife) and also bought us a few things out of the vending machine. My CX-5 Grand Touring is absolutely beautiful and to top it off I feel so comfortable knowing that if I need anything at all that I can stop by and talk with Keith. Thank you for all the help Keith, and thank you Dublin Mazda for my beautiful car!! read more

Dublin Mazda - Car Dealers Near Me - Dublin, California

After months and months of looking to buy my first car and shopping around Toyota and Honda Dealerships, I decided to check out the Mazda 3S Grand Touring at Dublin Mazda. Not only did they have the car that I wanted in the color that I wanted, but Nick, Bruce and "Big Mike" made the first-time buying experience real simple and clear with no pressure and a price point below than what I anticipated for my first car. As a first time buyer, it took me two days to get the car only because I had to spend one night to sleep on it before making a huge purchase. When I decided to purchase the car the next day, Bruce and Nick scheduled a time to pick me up from the BART station and drive me to Dublin Mazda. When I was hungry while waiting to speak to "Big Mike," Bruce let me borrow one of their cars to pick-up some food. Bruce were super accommodating, very friendly and very very helpful. "Big Mike" was super friendly and was able to better explain the procedures of financing the car. Nick was super helpful and super friendly and provided excellent customer service. All-in-all, first time car buying experience was very pleasurable thanks to Dublin Mazda. read more

Re: Dublin Mazda We have a unique story. On an extremely rainy morning, my husband was in a car accident, air bags deployed, car totaled. This wonderful man and his wife pulled over to keep my husband still until the ambulance arrived. On Dec 31st 2015, we went to Dublin Mazda to meet this man who stood in the pouring rain. We wanted to say thank-you from the bottom of our hearts. It turned out to be Garth Wall, the Fleet Manager. Get this, Garth was touched that we came to find him. We decided to look at cars. We needed one! We found one! This was the easiest car buying experience we had ever had. Absolutely no pressure. It was just good old-fashioned hospitality. Can you say you've ever experienced that in buying a car ? This team of people at Dublin Mazda; the Cashiers, Sales Consultants, Sales Manager, Finance Director, and Auto Detailers are as kind and helpful as their Fleet Manager! You never know where life will take you. We are so grateful. Thanks you Garth, Greg, Reyes, John, and Keith (Bailey's Dad !). We now look forward to meeting the service department. Enter at your own risk! There are a couple of nice younger guys working at Dublin Mazda; however, unfortunately there are some incredibly downright rude and arrogant salesmen here as well. I have not ever experienced such appalling behaviour in a business establishment! The manager did not do a thing to resolve the situation. If you really desire to consider a Mazda I would strongly suggest taking your business to a different location where you might receive respectable service. These gentlemen are only nice when sales are slow and they need the business. read more

After my long drive back to the Bay from the SW, then driving all over to Sacramento and Palo Alto for two weeks, my poor SUV had been thru the ringer. I had gotten my brake pads replaced in Phoenix before I moved back, though while in Sacto, my car started to make some weird noises. Had it checked out up there, and was given the green light, tho thru the rainstorms and windy days, the sound persisted and enough to make me concerned and finally take it to the dealership. The team went above and beyond. Was immediately greeted and engaged with to find out why I was there. Sam was the tech that worked on my car- went on a test drive with me, easy conversation and made me feel comfortable with his knowledge and attentiveness to the car. Didn't hear the strange noise while driving so he put it up in the garage, took everything off, discussed with others and took me back there himself to show me exactly what they thought the issue was (using non-Mazda manufactured parts, apparently). The detailed analysis and thorough explanation completely put me at ease and while nothing has changed, the sound is not as frequent anymore. Before leaving, was advised to get the battery cleaned off as acid was starting to accumulate. I think they quoted me a $40 charge or something- so I said to go ahead and lets take care of it. I found an online coupon and Jesse said he'd honor it with the service, no problem. When it came time to settle the bill, holy cow- they did it for no charge. I had mentioned that I would be trading in my car for a new one in 2015- its time. My SUV is almost ten years old- though never gave me any problems. I've only driven Mazda's all my life, so its easy for me to know I'd be here to do the trade-in anyway. I was so appreciative of the customer service, then the complimentary service. Got into my car and saw they had vacuumed up the debris from the storms, waxed and filled my tires too. Thanks so much, Sam and Jesse, and I will totally be back to get my new car next year! **Oh yeah, they also put my new Cali tags back on in the process too. So rad, I'm telling you, this team is! :) read more

Excellent service this past weekend at Dublin Mazda. Robin greeted us right away, and was extremely helpful. I test drove a Mazda 2, but being that it was my first test drive of the day, we left without buying. Well, we were back later that day to purchase it. The whole process was easy, and never once did I feel pushed into something I didn't want to do (which is something my Dad warned me about before we went out for the day. First time car buyer here.) Robin was very knowledgeable and helpful and took the time to really explain everything about my new car to me. I love my new car! Thanks for your help, Robin! * minus one star due to the long wait. We arrived back at Mazda a little after 2, and I believe I was pulling out of the parking lot with my new car a bit before 6. But, I also had a migraine and was hungry, so I was probably more irritable than normal : ) read more

Forgot to write this a year ago. Took my car here. Needed brake work and needed them to replace my lighter as it had a charger stuck in it. They screwed up my brakes and left air in the brake lines. I had to take my car to a 3rd party to fix it. They also screwed up my lighter replacement as it they actually just REMOVED it and failed to install the new one. Gross incompetence. I couldn't come back immediately and the woman who told me that they would resolve the issue had left the company. In the end I just paid another company to do the work as I don't have an hour to drive to go back to Dublin. read more

Brian approached us as we were looking at cars and showed us to the line-up of CX-9's that we were interested in. They had several cars available and he helped us find the one that was perfect for us. Reyes worked with us to get to a price we were happy with. We requested the paperwork be processed quickly because we needed to get the kids home. They worked really fast and were extremely courteous the entire time. They even helped me with my warranty refund for my trade-in. I received calls from both Brian and Reyes making sure I was completely satisfied with my new car. I returned a few days later (for help with warranty refund) and Reyes immediately came over and made sure all was well with the car. In the past, as soon as a dealership got my $, I never heard from them again but I like that Dublin Mazda made several attempts to show they care about my satisfaction. I waited to write this review until after my free 1 month inspection and car wash and I just did that last week. I was in and out within 40 minutes with a sparkling car! They somehow forgot to armor all one of my tires though LOL I didn't even notice until my husband asked why my car was wearing mix-matched shoes haha But that's not enough to deduct a star...considering the rest of my experience was 5 STAR! read more

By far the most painless car buying experience thus far in my life! I am very impressed with how this dealership went above and beyond to get my the car I truly wanted. I had visited the dealership a couple times over the corse of a month to window shop for a 2013 Mazda 3 5 door. When I was ready to pull the trigger and finally purchase this beauty of a car, I worked with Kaz (My salesman) on my different options and colors. My whole life I have wanted to purchase a blue car but unfortunately as Kaz and I found out, they had discontinued the Indigo Blue color of the car I was interested in. As I settled into my fate of having to pick a less appealing color, another dealership employee overheard us talking and did a quick search of incoming cars from the factory. Turns out he was able to hunt down a single Indigo Blue Mazda 3 5-door with a Manual Transmission that had just arrived at the docks down south in Long Beach. Upon hearing this I was ecstatic! We stayed right till closing that first night to make sure they could secure the car and a week an a half later it had made it's way from the port in Long Beach to the dealership. Follow all this up with great financing options and incentives and you end up with me being one VERY happy customer. If you are going to buy a Mazda, get it from the good people at Dublin Mazda. read more

I could not be happier with the support from Dublin Mazda. From sales with Tristan Freeman to service, they have always been accommodating. Still trying to wrap my head around what happened yesterday. I came to Dublin Mazda with an appointment to meet with Erin after we communicated a little over a week and to finalize the paperwork needed to purchase the 2020 Mazda CX-30, but he was a no show. A colleague of his said he had called out sick. As a courtesy, it would have been nice to have been notified about his absence and to have someone else on the Dublin Mazda team assist, but none of his colleagues were informed of my appointment. I explained to another worker Daniel that I came in to purchase the CX-30 and just needed to go over the quoted rates and terms Erin and I have been discussing. But just as he was trying to look for the keys to hand to me, within a matter of 10 minutes of me being there, I was told another customer had purchased the car. Can you imagine how upset and frustrating this was? I get that business is business but this type of service is unacceptable. I also found it EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional how I was given A SCRATCHER as the team's way of telling me tough luck and try to win some money from this instead. This came out very insulting to me. I hope my poor experience helps to improve the process at Dublin Mazda better. I would not want anyone else to go through what I had. read more

I had been car shopping for quite some time (months and months) during which I visited a countless number of dealerships...primarily Toyota, Honda, and Mazda. During this time I came to discover that each dealership definitely has its own personality. Some dealerships are pushy, some nice, some passive, some aggressive, and some overly aggressive...and then there's Dublin Mazda. If I had to summarize Dublin Mazda's personality with one word, I would say "AMAZING!!". Dublin Mazda had the most caring, supportive, honest, and understanding staff of any dealership that I visited. Let me break it down a bit: I had first contacted Dublin Mazda with a quote I had received on a 2015 Mazda3 itouring with the technology package and was put in contact with Rebekah from their sales department. Rebekah was the most genuinely nice person that I had met at any of the dealerships I visited. She started by asking questions in order to find out as much information as possible about me as well as the vehicle I was interested in. She was extremely professional and, unlike EVERY other dealership I had been emailing, actually responded with emails that were well written. All other dealers seemed to use email like some people text...using the number 2 instead of 'to', lacking periods, etc. This may seem like such a small thing, but when you start getting confused by some of the offers that you're getting, this type of professionalism really stands out. After exchanging quite a few emails and spending some time on the phone, Rebekah not only offered me a fantastic price on the exact vehicle that I wanted but really took the time to make sure that I understood what every single detail of what the quote meant. Although another dealership had even offered to throw in some 'freebies', I decided that I really wanted to work with Rebekah to buy my first 'new' car. I knew that if I went to another dealer then I would run the chance of having to make sure that my guard is up, look for any shady deals, and make sure that I'm not being ripped off. I'm so glad that I chose to go through Dublin. The entire time that I was there I felt that I was the #1 priority and that they truly valued my business. If you end up going through with getting a car you will most likely run into Big Mike (finance). This guy is great at what he does. He definitely understands the value of being honest and makes sure to walk you through everything that you will sign. Since this was my first time buying a car through a dealership I had a lot of questions, and he made me feel like no question was too small or unimportant. He also took the time to get to know me as a person and had some amazing stories to tell about his life. Once done with financing I met up with Rebekah again and she did something that was truly amazing. AFTER already selling me the car she spent the next 30 minutes talking with me and helping me customize/set up the car through a very detailed tutorial. We had great conversations and even found out that we are both slightly obsessed with the same band, and talked about the last time that they played a show in Oakland that we both happened to go to. AWESOME customer service!! (As a comparison, the other dealerships I visited couldn't wait to get rid of me whenever I told them I wasn't interested in buying a car right there on the spot) BOTTOM LINE: - If you want to be treated respectfully, as a valued customer, as a part of a family, and not feel like you're being ripped off, go to Dublin Mazda. I can't say it enough, but talk to Rebekah!! I plan on my car lasting for the next 10 years, but when it is finally time to look for a new one Dublin Mazda will be my first stop. - If you want to feel like you're being ripped off, rushed, or having to haggle through every step of the car buying process, go somewhere else. To the leadership of Dublin Mazda: - I truly hope you understand how great of a team you have. As someone who has worked in sales and spent quite some time in leadership, it is easy to identify individuals who are passionate and great at what they do. Both Rebekah and Big Mike are amazing representatives of Mazda and fantastic individuals. read more

Mazda service is excellent! I recently had a chronic lift-gate trim problem on my 2017 CX-5 that was caused by an outside glass shop that was not fixable. The Mazda service director Bryon K. listened to my explanations, help diagnosed the problem, offered to fix the trim without charging labor. I then had the pleasure to work with Justin, who is a total pro! When the initial attempt to fix the trim wasn't working he end up replacing the whole trim. Not only that, Bryon found out I needed to wait for hours and was able to prioritize the service orders by pushing back cars that require multiple days of service and a brand new trim was replaced in less than 2 hours! Bryon and Justin went WAY beyond my expectations for a car service from Mazda. I've been coming here since 2014 and they have always been honest and reasonable but now they have just risen to a whole new level! Look no further, I recommend them without reservation! They really do care about their customers! read more

Car purchase: This gets 5 stars. My wife and I bought our Mazda3 GT hatch at the beginning of this year (2016) and everyone who was involved was great, as well as the service department. Practices: 1 star? Let me explain: Over at Dublin Honda, there has been a 2014 Audi allroad on the lot for approx two months (maybe more). I had been keeping a blind eye on it, seeing if the price would drop into a price range that was comfortable for me and my family. I came in to have my Mazda3 serviced on 10/6/16 and the allroad was still there at approx $27.6K. When I looked online yesterday (10/8/16), the car was now on the Mazda lot priced at almost $30K. Now, I know that if a car doesn't sell on one lot, the sister dealer can purchase it and put a slightly higher price on it. But to raise the price by close to $2.5K?!? The car didn't get any newer over those two days. It makes me question if I want to buy a car again from this dealer... read more

There was a mix up the other day where the dealership had lost one of my license plate frames when I had gotten my car serviced for an oil change. I had left a voice mail and a Yelp review for the service department and was pretty upset since they were closed. Who knew that the dealership was paying attention to their Yelp review. One of the General Managers Dave Brown personally gave me a call to apologize for the situation. It's very rare for a dealership to go out of their way to reach out to a customer for a bad experience. For that, they have won me over and I am giving them 5 stars on Yelp. It's the principle that matters, and if you are willing to go out of your way for a customer, that speaks very highly of the staff and the business. Thanks again Dave! read more

How to make me happy, in 3 easy steps: 1. Let me email you my info, trade-in details, and the stock number I want from your website. 2. Let me have you run my credit before I get there and get me pre-approved. 3. Let me come in, verify the paperwork, give the new vehicle a quick test drive, sign off, and go home. Bruce Bode - Internet Sales - Cool as a cucumber. No BS, just got me what I asked for. Great guy. Big Mike in Finance - Gentle giant, again very straightforward, no weird "sales show" like at some other dealerships (cough Stevens Creek Nissan cough). Genuine guy, didn't feel like I was being 'marketed' to. All in all, I came in at about a quarter to 7PM with my trade, and was on my way home at about ten minutes to 9PM with my new ride. I am a very low-maintenance, low BS-tolerance customer, so I can't stand wasted time. Dublin Mazda recognized that and treated me with respect, courtesy, care and professionalism. When it's time to trade in again, I know where I'm going! read more

Great customer service from Elvis Nessari! He was very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. He was there from start to finish. My wife and I had a really good experience at this dealership when we purchased our 2018 Honda Civic on 7/27. In my 28 years of buying cars for myself and family, I don't think I've ever been in/out of a dealership so quickly while purchasing a car. Thanks, Elvis, John, and Ken! read more

3.5 stars Just rolled off this lot with a 2014 Mazda 3 Hatchback this past weekend! Cons: - Saw the vehicle listed on CarGurus for $18,200 and called to inquire and set an appointment for this vehicle. Upon arrival ticket price was at $18,889 and the listing was removed from online - Car was "Detailed" while I filled out paperwork, however I still saw smudges and the gas tank was only at a quarter so I had to fill it up before hitting the road ((was this because I haggled? maybe because I didn't buy the extended warranty?) Pros: - Michael Barrilleaux! He was upbeat, kind, and understanding. He worked it out so I would leave the lot with a smile on my face. Would have been a wider smile if the price started at $18,200, BUT he showed my brother and I a magic trick on our way out. A perfect end to a long day that was ending in delirium :) I would ask for him if you're thinking about shopping here. - Thanks to manager Dave B. for bringing the price down to what I saw it for! - Many options on the lot - quick service, refreshments, and clean bathrooms NOTE: first time buyers ~ bring Drivers license, paycheck stub, check book, and be prepared to sign up for car insurance. read more
