My wife and I recently went to Dublin Mazda to purchase a new car. We arranged our purchase through an online service and we made arrangements to meet with the Internet Sales Manager, Roger Thurman. We couldn't have been happier with Roger! He was extremely friendly and professional and made our buying experience painless. Even though we had a prearranged price through the online service, Roger was able to get us an even better deal! I highly recommend using Roger as your sales person, you won't be disappointed! Most importantly, Dublin Mazda doesn't mount the front license plate bracket unless requested. I hate it when dealers ruin their cars by drilling holes in the front bumper!!! read more

Just bought a brand new Mazda 3 Sedan today. I live in Fremont so I decided to check out the Fremont Mazda dealer. I will never go back to Fremont Mazda again! All they were concerned about was trying to get me to buy something the second I got there. They were of no help. When I asked about the car they told me to come in and talk numbers and then they will give me some info. I bought my car from Dublin and they were all kind and very informative and didn't talk numbers whatsoever until i was ready to. The people who were most helpful was Gregory Gutierrez and Bruce Bode! they really knew their stuff and were extremely helpful and informative and were willing to negotiate what I thought was a very fair deal. Would definitely come back here again and would love to do business with Gregory and/or Bruce again! read more

Drove out to dublin because the Oakland mazda on broadway closed. Very pleasant buying experience. Allan was knowledgeable, friendly and I appreciated that he didn't push extras on me after I told him I wanted to stick with the base model. They have a huge inventory, which helped me find the car I wanted that day, and the discussions about pricing and options felt like a friendly discussion, not adversarial. Finance staff was great at explaining all the paperwork. Good experience, which I was not expecting at a car dealership. read more

Dublin Mazda - Car Dealers Near Me - Dublin, California

I have been told to never trust a car salesman. And my first yelp review is on a car salesman from Ken Harvey Mazda, Dublin, CA.I recently bought a crystal blue Auto iTouring Mazda 6 .Before setting foot in the dealership, I had already decided I wanted a crystal blue Mazda 6 with a moonroof. My wife wanted the blind spot monitoring and the rear view camera but I knew these were included in the moonroof iTouring model.I also knew I did not want the navigation. And helping me in the process was Mr. Garth Wall who is Fleet Manager in Ken Harvey Mazda. What followed was my best car buying experience. It was direct, tough, to the point and clear. He was pleasant, courteous to my wife and to me, occasionally funny, said no when he needed to but also held hope that a negotiation was possible.I will never know if I got the best price possible but I know I got what I asked for and was delivered what I was promised. If you know what you want and what you are willing to pay, I am sure Mr Wall will make it possible. And if he cannot, he will tell you that too. If you are interested in financing (as we were) you will end up meeting 'Big Mike' who as my wife said looks like Santa Claus delivering what you wanted and explaining all the packages available.A special 'Thank you' to Mr. Sean who at the backend(Mr Wall's boss?) made everything possible . And sometimes during that process you might end up liking a car salesman.Thank you for everything. read more

Paul Carozza at the service department is awesome! He went the extra mile to resolve the issue with my car under warranty, and I couldn't be more grateful. He's a rock star and deserves a raise and an award. read more

Walked in with my gf, and we walked out with a new 2014 sport Mazda3 happily. Despite of being in there for 3.5 hours. The experience was very pleasant, staffs were very friendly and informative about their inventories. We were greeted by Jack Luong, he instantly showed us the the different trims along with the different features each trim consisted. Mr. Jack showed us around the car lot to let us explore which colored models we were interested most, and allowed both of us to each take turns test driving the car. After we narrowed down to colors, we negotiated to a awesome deal but wanted to take some time to do some more financial research to prepare for insurance and whatnot, Jack was very patient and gave us all the time we needed to prepare for our big committed purchase. We came back today a week later and jumped right into business with Mr Jack again to select our preferred color model and flew through the paperwork. The entire process was smooth and quick!! We even got our Mazda3 washed during the paperwork process. We met the manager , John Smith. Mr. Smith gave us a good rundown about how freqently we would drive our new car, how long we were expecting to keep it and leading down to what we can do the take good care of it with warranty/maintenace package and the GAP coverage. I have read from edmunds.com that dealers often try to make $$ out of selling accessories that are unecessary but extended warranties can be an exception. At first we weren't that convinced of getting the warranty/maintenace package, but we had to do our weigh and balances: -living in a town that's full of DUI drivers; i had my own car totaled overnight and it was devastating -GAP coverage to prevent the nightmare of paying for a totaled car you no longer have because of a contract you've signed (which happened to my gf's coworker's bro) -technology of cars nowadays are so advanced that mechanics aren't consistent with reparing those high-tech features, so did we wanted to get ripped off by a mechanic who simply replace parts that may not even be compatible with the car that will lead it to die down again a week or 2 later for an extreme high cost? nah The catch was that the mainteance/warranty will cover repairs for 7 years, but we did had bills and other financial burdens to take care of, so Mr. Smith was understanding enough to suggest we may not need the GAP coverage to meet our financial needs. However, he still highly recommended it since we couldn't afford not to have it. After doing our weigh and balances carefully, we decided to take the package, so we can live happily with our purchase in the long run!! In the end, service was excellent and it was definitely a pleasurable experience thanks to Mr. Jack and Mr. Smith!! We will look forward to buying another car here in the near future!!! read more

(It had been 19 years since I bought a brand new car)...The team at Dublin Mazda delivered 5-star service to me throughout the whole process. Taz Harvey, (the Owner), personally greeted me and worked out a comfortable and EASY plan for me. Kaz Harstra expertly explained all of the car's specs without a hitch; he's very kind. Reyes, "literally" treated me like family, making my 'short time' there pleasant with his radiant smile. And last, 'Big Mike" has such a nice personality and is easy-going. I'd like to thank Marty J. for introducing me to such a wonderful team :) Sincerely, Angela (Angie) 4/8/14 read more

Incredibly terrible experience. Will never do business with them again. The salesperson I spoke with was pleasant, but something's severely wrong with the management. Sold my car to them on June 29th. On July 14th I get a call saying there's an issue with the transmission and I have to take the car back. This is already very strange to me, so after coming in I call the DMV and find out that dealerships can reverse these transactions if there's an issue with the car. Unfortunate, but if that's the law then all's fair. I take a walk around the car, and not only have they removed all the modifications I've spent money on, they also scratched the infotainment screen. I bring up the infotainment screen to them, and show them the picture of the infotainment before I gave them the car. Their mechanic comes in and says that the level of scratching currently on the car is how he got it. I have a literal picture with timestamp but they refused to even look at it, or offer any kind of solution. The attitude seemed to just be, "this dude signed the paperwork, now we don't owe anything to him." Can't emphasize enough, do not sell your car to these guys. You're better off with carvana or carmax because even if they lowball, at least they won't mess with your car and then back out of the sale 2 weeks later. read more

My first car shopping. I have always wanted a Mazda, either a 3 or 6, so my family decided to go to the Dublin Mazda to take a look and see what they have. The location of the dealership was right off the highway, and easy to find. That is a plus! When my family and I got there, we were greeted by MICHAEL BARRILLEAUX, definitely recommend him to anyone who is interested in buying a Mazda. I told him what I was looking for and what price range I was looking at. He showed me bunch of Mazda 3 and 6. He explained to me what the differences between each of them were. We ended up test driving a Mazda 3 grand touring and the Mazda 6. He show how the system works and what I should know about these cars. After testing driving, I had a hard time deciding what car I like more. My dad wants me to go for the bigger car for comfort and more stable. I like the 3, where it's more gas efficient and decent size. After that we started looking at numbers. I must say, I have never met anyone like Michael, who is patient with me and my family. He never made me feel like you need to walk out with this car today, never said anything to make me feel bad. I don't have too many experiences with dealers but in some sense I do know they want to make a sale. He let me take my time for me to decide this is my car and I feel comfortable with this price. He asked me many times "what do I think, what do I think, what do I want." and not you should get this. But since the car was going to be under my name and being fresh out of college, I felt like my APR rate was too high and my family and I had to walk out... Try to figure out some other way to bring it down... Good new is that my family and I went back the next day bc I really like the car and I know that I wouldn't find another salesman that's going to be as patient as Michael (one of the other reason we return here). It was the same process all of again, taking the car for another test drive, looking at numbers. Once we started looking at numbers, which is the hardest part. Because my family and I have a budget of what we want to spend and how much we can pay. You can feel the tension there. I guess you can say my family doesn't want to pay overprice of what we can really get it for. Dealers don't want to sell for less, which is understandable, it's business. That process must of taken hours... It was long but both sides came to a compromise and I got the car I wanted. My first experience of buying a car was a good one. Michael was there the whole time, even though he was suppose to leave around 4 to go with his wife for an appointment. They are expecting their first baby, Congratulations again. I felt kinda bad, but I'm glad he stay till the end. My family and I didn't drive off until 6. And if his wife is reading this, which Michael told me that she would, congratulations and your husband was one of the best salesman, pleasant and he shared many wonderful stories with me. Once again, I would recommend Dublin Mazda and Michael if anyone is interested in buying a Mazda Tori C. read more

My husband and I are new in town, new to the USA, actually. Buying a car could be a very upsetting, stressful process if you get caught up with the wrong people or the wrong car but thanks to Garth Wall, Fleet Manager at Dublin Mazda, the whole process was easy and as stress-free as it can get. We got exactly what we wanted - the car, warranty and financing was exactly what we had in mind when we set foot in Dublin Mazda. Nothing felt cloudy or shady; Garth was totally warm, open and honest. Not once did we feel worried, suspicious or at a disadvantage because we were newbies. If you're looking to get a car, especially if the process is new or foreign to you, I highly recommend you look for Garth Wall. He will walk you through all the details and make sure you're happy with your purchase. Well, after a poor experience at Fremont Mazda (feel free to see my recent review for details) my wife and I drove over to Dublin Mazda. Upon arrival we were properly greeted by the very pleasant and professional Tom Rood. I really didn't think a new car was in my "wheelhouse", as we were initially looking to buy something used. However, after looking into the CX-5 and taking a couple test drives, we found it to be the right car for us. Working out the numbers took a llittle longer than we'd hoped, and though it was exhausting, everyone there was really friendly and knowledgeable - Tom, Sean, and John specifically. I also wanted to add that Tom was probably the most genuinely caring car salesmen I've ever worked with. I honestly felt like our experience of buying the right car was his priority - as opposed to just making the sale. Kudos for understanding something basic, yet extremely important, that a lot of salesmen have forgotten in this industry. Thanks for being so great throughout the process, gents - we look forward to working with and seeing you at the dealership in years to come. All the best, Arturo & Jessica read more

My sister had been into the dealership and had a great experience and ended up with a new Mazda3 hatch and loved it. I had been in the market for a smaller car with better gas mileage and decided to come in and check out what I could do with my trade-in. Danny helped me out with the sale and was very straight forward and friendly. No hard sell, just honest conversation. No games were played and I ended up with a car matching my sister's. Overall I would definitely come back and buy again. Great service and friendly staff. Goodluck on your car shopping! read more

Special shoutout to Bill Scholvin. I would definitely come back here. Here is why: I particularly prefer when a sales associate treats you with respect and kindness you don't see much anymore. I even wore real plain slippers, shorts, and a tshirt with a basketball logo on and didn't even fix my hair to not attract attention. I even hid my wife's brand new Range Rover away from plain view to not get pressured into buying a car while i take a look at the Mazda 3 Grand Touring and Touring Hatchbacks. I prefer to do research, look at the car in person, go home, sit on it, then buy the car. I shy away from sales pitches and pressure to buying a car when I am not an impulsive person. I have already browsed about 7 mazda 3s when I saw Bill walk over to me. I uttered to myself "I think it is time to go". But Bill came up, said hi, and we just had a fairly long simple chat about cars, mazda, and the dealership. I was amazed on how professional he was dealing with me. He did not pressure me or put me into a sales pitch right away which usually makes me politely walk away and never come back. My daily-driver honda fit car to work is at 100,000 miles now and i will come back to Bill when i am ready to replace my baby. So, I show up on Superbowl Sunday to test drive a car- the 2014 (yep 2014) CX5. I had seen online that they had one in the configuration I wanted, so I thought I'd take a drive to check it out. I had talked to Michael on the phone, but when I got there Tom helped me out. Anyway- cut to the chase... While negotiating a price for my now new car, the team there fed me from their mini Super Bowl buffet- gladly letting me watch commercials (oh, and the game) with them. Tom was able to get me to a price I wanted for the car and was incredibly great to work with. Talking with Michael, John and Sean while I was there about different things about the car made the whole process painless. My dad has always helped my buy my cars (because he likes the process), but with these guys I felt very comfortable working with them through the process myself. I HIGHLY recommend going there if you are looking for a new Mazda. If only they were closer so I could do my maintenance there, it would be 110% perfect! read more

This is a positive review for Stephen Butterfield, who provided us with excellent service when my girlfriend decided it was time to buy a car. Stephen was very polite and knowledgeable about what Mazda had to offer. We had already done our research prior to coming in. We targeted a Mazda 3, and even with our preparation, Stephen still impressed us with all the stuff he knew about the product. He was also great at making us feel comfortable. Buying a car was a big step for my girlfriend, and we're always weary about sales people badgering us and making us feel hustled. Stephen was not the case. He was kind and assuring, and let us make the decisions on what we wanted. In the end, my GF drove out with a new Mazda 3 and didn't have a single ounce of regret. I normally dread the car buying process, but I'm happy to say it was not the case this time! read more

This review is for sales team of Dublin Mazda. It's amazing that only in the auto industry the person who takes thousands of dollars of your hard earned money from you can get away with treating you so badly. Which brings me to Mike Davis. We wouldn't need sales people if everyone knew what they exactly wanted to buy. Mike was rude and unprofessional and therefore on principle I decided not to work with Dublin Mazda. read more

I had the pleasure of buying a Mazda 3 here in August. It was a really easy process and Bruce made it feel like a no pressure afternoon and did not belittle me or my mother (I am looking at you, honda salesman that called me "fun sized") and was very kind and well versed in his products. We bought the car and I drove into the sunset... Until a lunatic ran into me and totaled my car in December. To mazda'a credit I was totally unhurt even if the car was totaled. But I found myself needing a new car! Back to Bruce. He helped my mom reserve a similar 3 in a different color to ensure we got it, before the weekend rush. Big mike was great helping with the finances. A few days later I came in, signed my name, wrote a check and rolled away. Seriously easy and Bruce and big mike were kind and helpful the whole way through. I recommend them! read more

This is for the Service department. I wouldn't normally review a car dealership but these guys really impressed me. I have a Mazda CX9 that had a very strange problem: A hesitation upon acceleration (only in 6th gear and +45mph). I took it to another local dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong. And I paid them quite a bit to tell me that. It was getting worse so I drove 30 minutes out of my way to Dublin Mazda. I explained the problem and the problem clearly intrigued them. The car didn't throw any error codes, but they took a diagnostic laptop along in the car for a drive, and drove it until the car presented the problem. That did it, it was showing a misfiring in 3 cylinders which was due to failing ignition coils. The replaced the coils, plugs, and had the car ready the next day. On top of a great investigative job, they offered me a discount on parts and service and honored a price they quoted me over the phone (which was very low considering the repair). Well done, they've won over a new customer! read more

It's a LEMON! Unreliable vehicle at best. I purchased a brand new Mazda 6 Touring with a few bonus features, and a another vehicle from this deal ship, what a mistake! The 6 is a year old, it has a barrage of functionality issues. The safety sensors never functioned properly, they go off for no reason and the anti collision light will stay on; or on the other hand, the sensor won't detect obstructions; the navigational system continually crashes; the tires weren't balanced so the steering wheel shook excessively every time I braked, I had the issue resolved but now my tire light is stuck on permanently and the vehicle will lock you out even with the clicker key at bay. Overall, the electrical system, which is the heart of any new vehicle --- which again, a vehicle only one year of age should not be experiencing these issues --- is poorly crafted and completely unreliable. Don't buy Mazda unless you have AAA & an extended warranty, because you'll need it! In terms of the buying experience, it's a big meh there. The dealership did not have their paperwork together, the final docs had 3 different VIN numbers on it. The paperwork woman lost her cool and left to curse out the salesman. She was very heated. The front office is discombobulated and the salesmen don't care because they just care about the sale. Be warned. read more

I would stay away from Dublin Mazda. I have never been treated so poorly by people who I am trying to spend tens of thousands of dollars with. I made my first trip to their dealership this morning and no one greeted me or tried to interact with me. I realized they were busy so I figured I would try again later. My second trip of the day I waited around for 15 mins and no one came to talk to me. I went to ask the receptionist if there was someone to help us and she paged the salesmen. No one still talked to us for 10 mins. I saw a salesmen was not with customers so I walked to his office and ask if he could assist us. He said " I'm swamped. I have three customers waiting and you need to talk the receptionist." I walked back to my wife and said no one is available. We were going to leave but the salesman walked up to us and said " what are you looking for?". I told him we wanted to test drive and no one has even said hello to us two times now. " He said well you should go find another dealer that has more salesmen because we can't help you were swamped. To me this is so shocking. We we're looking to buy but we needed to test drive first. I would drive out of my way to another Mazda dealership. I very much understand they were busy. Good for them, but it's inexcusable how I was talked to. Best place to purchase a car!! If anyone is looking to buy a car, this is the place. But you must see Keith Morita as he has got to be the most friendly, courteous and knowledgeable person there. Had my first scheduled service with Dublin Mazda last week. The whole process was awesome. I scheduled the appointment on line and when I got there Jesus Vega checked my car in but he also helped me to re-connect my Iphone to the car's stereo. Then he gave me an unexpected big savings on my tuneup costs PLUS paid for Lyft to drive me home. This place is amazing! Walked in Sunday late afternoon wanting to test drive a car, however, didn't realize how busy this place was. Immediately after walking in we thought to ourselves, "this might take a long time", well to our surprise we were wrong. Elvis Nessari walked up to us with a big smile and asked if he could help. We are beyond thankful he helped us. Without his genuine care and knowledge of the car we probably wouldn't of walked out of there with our brand new 2019 Mazda 3 AWD. Test driving the base model and then the premium model, we knew which one was the right one for us. We knew the process of buying a car can be long and tiring but Elvis was so friendly and talked through many different options that time went by so fast. He gave us all the details and numbers of buying and leasing. He wasn't pushy, he just took his time and allowed my fiancé and I to talk things over. Dublin Mazda - Me and my 2015 CX-5. I couldn't be happier! - Car Dealers Near Me - Dublin, California

Prior to the pandemic I received a loan to purchase a car. After about 2.5 weeks ago I found a car at Dublin Mazda. They finally opened about a week ago and I test drove and loved the car. After a little negotiation we agree on a price. In the last 5 business days I have made 3 appointments to get the purchase order from Dublin Mazda and 3 times they canceled. Yesterday, was the third time I was suppose to meet with them and canceled because their business manager was sick. When I expressed my frustration with them the sales person and the GM said "Let's shake hands and part ways." What they heck?!?!?!?! I have my funding set. We agreed on a price. All I needed was purchase order and the deal was done. Dublin Mazda, what's up? LOL, I received in the mail today an envelope from SiriusXM satellite radio congratulating me the purchase of new Mazda. This just shows how far the purchase had gotten and then they shut down. This is some crazy stuff here. read more

My wife and I found a previously owned SUV online @ Dublin Mazda. I submitted an inquiry and received a call back from Rebekah Secada, She was hyper-responsive and very helpful. The next day, my wife and I went to the dealership to test drive the car. We took the test drive with Rebekah but advised her that we didn't have very much time that day and that we would come back again. A week later, I contacted Rebekah to see if the SUV was still available and she again was very responsive and advised that it still was. I came back to the dealership and told her that we were very interested and we made an appointment to see the car again. She had the car ready for another test drive and when I got to the dealership, it was such a smooth and easy experience. Rebekah was very helpful and responsive.
