I just got done signing the papers on my brand new 2012 Mazda3 Touring, in the sickest silver color available. I have to say I am beyond words right now thanks to Tony Roberts and Big Mike in Finance. Before I get into why this dealership - and more specifically Tony Roberts - are top class, let me just say that for any other dealership I would have been a challenging sale. I am a veteran of the auto industry and auto sales. I know what dealers do to people most often, and how easily they manage to get over on people. I've seen the tricks, heard the stories and have even been targeted by some of these tactics in recent weeks. I will also say that buying a car right now was NOT something I really wanted to do, but circumstances being what they were I was left with little choice. And being that I was not really wanting to buy a car right now, I hadn't prepared for it at all. I actually found Tony and Dublin Mazda through nobullcarloan.com. Knowing what I know about my own credit history, my finances, my current loan and how car sales work, I knew to expect the worst of news when it came to getting financed. I emailed Tony a few days ago, ran through everything I could that was relevant to getting me a loan and prepared for being told some terrible news. He emailed me back very quickly and assured me that he would be able to help me with very possibly no money down. So I decided to put him to the test. I filled out my credit application yesterday evening. Tony called me this morning and told me he was getting to work on it and needed to ask a few questions. We were on the phone for about five minutes and he told me he should know something within the next 48 hours. 10 minutes later he texted me to tell me he got me a deal. He then emailed me the entire deal structure, including the expected down payment - in my case, nothing - and everything else I needed to know to get my car. I asked when I could come in, I set up an appointment and at about 4:00 PM this afternoon, I and three of my children were sitting in front of him. He set the kids up in the waiting area, where they had access to the large screen TV, free hot cocoa and plenty of space to draw, read and such. Tony told me to expect to be there about two hours, and when I got there we got right to work. He evaluated my trade, showed me some cars and it ended up being that I was able to buy a new car - a 2012 Mazda3 - with very little down. Yes, I could have bought a used car with nothing down. But when I was told I could get a new car instead of a used car I jumped at the chance. He got me all taken care of, handed me off to Mike in Finance and in about two hours and twenty minutes of total time, I was driving off the lot in my new car. I wish I could put into better words just how much this was a pleasure to experience. Tony was up front about everything, was true to his word in every way and never once pressured me into anything I didn't want to do. He gave me options and made sure I was always fully aware of what was going on through the entire process. I had been to two different dealerships, had spoken to many finance managers and internet managers on the phone and all of them had the same thing to say: Come in, fill out a credit app and let's see if we can make a deal. Tony was the total opposite. He made me a deal then had me come in. He answered my questions clearly and honestly, showed me every number I asked for and was with me through the entire purchase process. I had such an amazing experience as a first time car buyer at this dealership. I purchased the Mazda CX-5 from the sales person Robert. I got the most amazing customer service throughout the entire process. I never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision. I was in the dealership for over 5 hours and not ONCE felt this way. I would totally recommend buying a car from Robert. He is super personable and funny. THEY ARE NOT PUSHY HERE. I was also able to negotiate a great price. After many trips to the managers office Robert was able to get me down to just $6 over my monthly car price. I bought a brand new car and got approved for an unbeatable loan. Rossie in the finance department helped me answer all of questions I had in regards to loan, and trust me I had a lot. Never felt rushed during this process either. I was pleasantly pleased with my car buying experience at Pleasanton Mazda. Aaron, Rosie and the entire Mazda family were a pleasure to work with. Purchased a 2017 CX-5 with the help of internet salesman Bill Scholvin. I got a very competitive price and the process was painless. The price was much lower than those hokey Truecar or Costco arrangements. I looked at a lot of cars at a lot of different dealerships and Dublin Mazda was very knowledgable about what they carry, had a lot in stock to choose from, and were willing to give me a good deal. I've purchased a lot of new cars in my years and this was one of the better experiences. I might add that many of the dealerships in the bay area are dumps compared to the dealerships on the east coast in size and facilities. I don't know what it is about California car dealers. My wife and I just bought a 2016 CX3 for her at Dublin Mazda We are very happy with both the car and our experience with the dealership. Our salesman was Troy Dunlop and he was great, no high pressure, just very relaxed and helpful. He is someone who seems trustworthy from the beginning. When we drove the car home we realized there was no "SD chip" for the navigation, we called Troy, he said to bring the car in and he installed it for us and gave us a tutorial on the navigation. I brought my wife's Mazda Miata in today for a recall and oil/filter change. This was our first visit to Dublin Mazda. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. Damon Becerra was our Service Advisor. Damon was friendly, helpful and informative. Damon even applied a ten dollar off coupon. He advised us that we would be contacted when our car's service was complete. The car was ready when promised. Our Technician, Mark Bugay sent me a video showing the inspection and servicing of our car. We have never received anything like this before from anyone servicing our vehicle. All companies should institute this. Mark thoroughly explained what was done to our car and that it was ready for pick-up. We bought a used Sienna minivan here about 2 months ago and I was very pleased with the experience. The van we bought was a local trade in that they had just received. I called the first day it was listed an cars.com and they let me know they were detailing it and it would be ready later that day. The purchase was easily negotiated, with the exception of the warranty. I didn't want one and my husband did, but that isn't the dealerships fault. If you are considering the used car warranty make sure you negotiate that price very aggressively, we were able to get a very substantial discount. As part of our deal the bumper needed repainting and we needed hubcaps that we went back for a few days later, but they did give us a loaner car into use while the work was completed. Minus one star because they didn't use Toyota hubcaps, but part of that is my fault for not getting that written into the contract. Overall, a great experience and. There is nothing that I have hated more than buying a new car. In the past, it has been such a draining experience that I dread every minute of it. I was not looking forward to it this year, but my husband insisted I go, since this was going to be my car . The experience at Dublin Mazda was quite a surprise. Our sales man Jim Anthony was great. I came to this place to find a speed3 that I had been looking around for, and they had one of the last around. Shaun and Michael were awesome, they waited after hours for me to come by because I couldn't get off of work (two days in a row). They showed me several different options, and were overall very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Not at all pushy, and very down to earth; not like so many other over the top salesmen who just want to make their dollar. When I ended up choosing the car I wanted, Shaun went out of his way to work with me on financing and giving me an awesome deal, and going through basically every financial institution around to find me the lowest rate, even though I was happy with one of his first offers. The car itself I am very happy with also; came detailed and perfect. I just bought what is my family's 5th Mazda from Dublin Mazda. My sales representative,Keith Morita, was absolutely amazing. He was patient and worked hard to make sure I was satisfied. Keith really walks the walk as he also drives a Mazda. The day after I bought the car, he called to see if I had any questions, and on the day I was picking up my car he sent me a picture so I can see how beautiful my car was. Keith Morita was a blessing - things do happen for a purpose. We were ready to buy a new car, but that evening, we saw a Mazda CX-5, TV commercial 5 X in one show. I insisted and got my wife and I to go to a dealership in Dublin. Didn't have one close by. We looked at most of the sub-SUV and were about to buy one. Again, we walked in, they gave us a key, said we're local and off we drove. Came back but had all these Safety Features questions? Wife wanted to walk away but Keith approach us and with caring intentions asked us if we needed help- no pressure as we said we were just looking, but we all know car salesman, just want to make a sale and push you towards Finance Manager. He first made sure he understood and net all our needs, then he took his time looking for a discount option, that we can help lower the price. When he felt that he had answered all our questions and concerns. He gave us his card and said he will be there when we are ready to buy. Never bad mouth competition, he didn't have to. Very professional, but most important was that he cared for us the buyer and not just make a sale. We bought the CX-5, that evening because we realized, maintenance, support, and follow-up care that most important factor after a SALE, and we were comfortable coming back to him. We would want to have a relationship and be able to go back to someone we can trust when we need to buy another one. This review is for the service center. Took my Mazda 3 in for the seat bolt attachment recall. Decided to have an oil change and service inspection. I don't know what they did, but AFTER the routine service the car drove horribly. It was making an incredibly loud sound and was pulling and hard to drive. I went across town and then immediately went back. I was told that the noise was "normal" because my tires had been rotated and they had some cupping issues. When my husband drove the car, he said he has never driven a car that sounded so bad or was so difficult to handle. Basically they took advantage of the fact that I was a woman who came in alone. They made it so that I would have to bring in the car sooner rather than later for the "recommended" repairs. Never going there again and never purchasing another Mazda. read more

After going through other dealerships and not finding what I was looking for I called Dublin and spoke with Michael. Within minutes he was able to find what I was looking for. My boyfriend said he was great when he went to do a preview of cars. The next day I met with Stephen (it was Michael's day off). Stephen was realistic about what cars were in my budget and did not waste my time. After a test drive and some great conversation I found my perfect car. While they didn't have the car in their inventory, never did Keith try to sell me something on their lot or try to talk me into something else. My husband and I ended up in the area earlier than scheduled, so we stopped at the dealership to see if they could get us in any sooner (since we saw an available appointment online for an earlier time than we had). The guy we spoke to said there were too many appointments to change our time, and the car would be done by 10:30. Ok no big deal, it was worth a shot. Then a young woman who was next to us was told they would be able to fit her car in that morning without an appointment. Which wouldn't have bothered me so much if her car wasn't done 2 hours before ours was. I'm 9 months pregnant, and I get that I'm more irritated than usual, but at least accommodate the people with appointments first. Our car wasn't done at 10:30, it was done at 11:30. And the service guy was laughing when he said our car was finally done. So after 3 1/2 hours and $120 later, for a simple oil change, we were finally on our way. Then we walk outside and I find my car with water spots and dirt on it after I had just washed it the day before! Apparently they spray water on it and say they washed it. Let's just say I'll be going to any other shop to get an oil change from now on. read more

My pregnant wife and I just had THE WORST possible car buying experience. We walked in, and 3 men just stared at us.....finally one of them approached when we got to the desk. His name tag said Gregory, but we didn't find out for 15 minutes that it was correct. What we did find out before his name was that his pants were so tight that we could see more than you should see on a first date much less when trying to buy a car, He asked us what we were looking for. My wife explained that we were pre approved for an amount and that the amount and pre approval said that we could put no money down. we saw a car that we wanted to look at. He pulled it up, I asked if things would go faster since we were pre aprroved. He responded with the standard response about test driving. He pulled the car around, we test drove. Conversation was forced, and half assed. Bear in mind that my wife walked in wearing an Oklahoma Thunder Tshirt AND jacket. Yet he still asked if we were from around here....really? Then as we were getting close to the dealership he casually said (as if it would help showing the 30's-40's lesbian couple) that his GRANDMOTHER has had 2 Chrysler mini-vans (that's what we were test driving). Once back inside, he again showed zero real desire to sell the car. He of course asked if we would finance through them if they could beat the rate we already got. To which we re-explained no money down, blah blah blah. He got all the info he needed, our car keys on the car that we made clear we owed money on and would have to be the trade in VERY EARLY ON. He did the whole "Let me go talk to my manager" routine back and forth. Finally he sat down and told us that we would have to put 5700 down becuase we are 6k under on our car and that it was through the same lender that we were pre approved under. When that was pointed out he just stared at us with confusion. Then repeated that we were under on the car....which we reminded him 3 times that WE HAD TOLD HIM THAT AND WERE PRE APPROVED FOR MORE THAN 10K OVER THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE CAR. To which he just kept asking "Well what can you put down?" Also if we had THAT AMOUNT OF CASH BURNING A HOLE IN OUR POCKETS IT WOULD HAVE GONE INTO PAYING DOWN THE CAR WE ARE TRYING TO TRADE IN FOR THE MINI VAN! WHAT MAKES YOU THINK IF WE HAD THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY WITH TWINS COMING IN 3 MONTHS, THAT WE WOULD POUR IT ALL INTO A CAR DOWN PAYMENT TO RAISE OUR MONTHLY CAR PAYMENTS? KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE BUDDY! I was done, I got up and walked out. GREGORY, you didn't want our business clearly. It must be nice to be balling so hard that you could treat people this way. You didn't even bother phoning it in buddy. Dublin Mazda: 1) Just because we don't come rolling in, in a brand new bmw like the family you were falling all over to help, doesn't mean that we don't deserve to be helped. 2) Teach yours salesmen how to shake hands and introduce themselves. 3) Why did we not SEE A SINGLE FEMALE EMPLOYEE IN THE WHOLE PLACE? This dealer had a lot more inventory of the Mazda3 hatchbacks than other dealers in the area, and they have a lot of staff on hand to make the car buying process as smooth as possible. There were some minor issues but it was a good experience overall. We worked with Robert, who answered our questions and helped us find the car we were looking for. He got us a decent price, and the negotiation process was not as painful as I would have expected. Robert's a nice guy! read more

The staff are very welcoming and accommodating and break down every detail on what sort of repairs or maintenance they performed. What I like the most is that they are patient when you try to explain something that might be bothering you about your car and they will gladly inspect it and address it. I came to Dublin Mazda to get an oil change and inspection on the car. Was told I needed a new battery and that my light bulb was burnt out. I bought a new battery and as I purchased new bulb I saw that there wasn't an issue on the light bulb and so I decided to look on fuses I saw I was missing fuses. I saw my invoice and it wasn't my bulb was burned out the bottom part was broken. I called to complain to a manager because I felt I inspected the car more then they did. Never going back.
