This Mazda Dealership really big. I love the décor in the main building. Very neat, modern looking and clean. We were instantly approached by a salesman name Richard. I instantly fell in love with the CX 5. There Richard was not pushy at all and gave us excellent customer service. He was very knowledgeable about the car. But we decided not to make an impulsive buy and to try out the other cars. Since we were so close to other Dealerships nearby. But I knew I would be back. Came back 3 days later and decided to buy the car. We came in around 6pm and the place closes at 8pm. Not once did they rush us out. They actually took the time to make sure we had the price we wanted and can afford. After a couple of back and forth on the price, Rosie who did our paperwork was excellent and we bought the car. She made the paperwork part as easy and not painful at all. Vinay was our sales person that day, because Richard didn't work that day, she was really helpful but I can tell she was new. Both Sales persons had excellent customer services. Would definitely recommend them. Then 3 days later we made an appointment to get a top coat for the car that protects the paint. Detailed guy said he notice Overspray on the car =( . Basically it looked like someone painted a white car next to my Blue CX-5 and got some on my car because it was all over my brand new car. I immediately called the Sales Manager Sam. He said bring the car in and they will take care of it. Well, brought it in Monday and they tried multiples times to get the Overspray off by buffing it. But the Overspray was not coming off and you can tell the car has been majorly buffed because you can visually see the scratches from it. At this point I did not want the car anymore because it was not a brand new car that I paid for. I was stressing out at this point thinking they were going to screw me over on this and make me keep the car. Definitely a buyers worst nightmare. But Mazda did not do that. Not only did they not make me take a car like that but they went and found me a brand new =) Excellent dealership!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would because they deserve it. Definitely no joke when it comes to OUTSTANDING CUSTOMERS SERVICE!!! I am a very happy owner of a 2017 Mazda CX-5 =) read more

I have a 2018 CX-5 that I purchased from Putnam Mazda in Burlingame and boy do I regret not buying it from Dublin Mazda... When I originally had bought my vehicle the salesman promised he would have Apple CarPlay installed on my vehicle at its first service. Upon taking my car to Burlingame for its first service that apparently was a huge lie and the salesman never made good on his promise. After this I wanted to take my car elsewhere. So when the car was due for its second service I took it to Concord Mazda, at first I liked the service advisor I had and he told me he felt bad about what happened in Burlingame and that if I paid for the part he would install Apple CarPlay for me. 2 weeks after the 2nd service part arrives, yet my service advisor I found out has been fired? So now, I'm stuck with a part I don't know how to install and getting weird vibes from Concord Mazda. Not to mention getting ahold of anyone in service department at Concord Mazda is nearly impossible. I gave Dublin Mazda a phone call (they answered almost immediately) told them the situation I was in and that all I wanted was Apple CarPlay. They made an appointment me for the very next day. Anthony Green was the service advisor who helped me when I walked in, and he was incredible. A complete 180 from every other service department I had been to in the Bay Area. Anthony went over everything with me, quoted me the same price they did on the phone, looked at the part I was bringing from Concord Mazda assured me there shouldn't be any problems. What's nice about Dublin Mazda is that you can walk around locally and get something to eat or hangout elsewhere while your car is getting worked on. Came back to my beautiful CX-5 washed, sanitized (due to COVID-19), and now with Apple CarPlay! I was so excited, it honestly felt like I was driving away with a new car. I like that service advisors handle payment rather than shooing you away to a receptionist of some sort. Anthony even took the time and used his own iPhone cable to show me how CarPlay worked. Overall 12/10, I will go out of my way to bring my car back for service to Dublin Mazda! Thanks Anthony! read more

Dublin Mazda - Apple CarPlay Retrofit for 2018 CX-5 Touring w/ Premium Package. - Car Dealers Near Me - Dublin, California

As a first time car buyer, I am happy that I walked away with the car that I wanted at a price that I found fair. I'm not so happy about the customer service, I walked out feeling completely manipulated and taken advantage of. Upon arriving to the dealership as a walk-in, my girlfriend and I were approached by Troy - who stated that he hadn't been working there very long. Which is completely fine, I don't need a top of the line salesman, I'm young, he's young, whatever. What annoyed me was that he was SO scripted, take it down a level dude. Be a person. We test drove the car, I loved it, I wanted it, so I decided to buy it. He came back to me with a certain monthly financing price, but what was online for a quote was different so I pushed on that for a while and after Troy kept going back and forth to his manager 700 times we finally agreed upon a monthly payment that felt comfortable for me. He repeatedly offered me the extended warranty and other add on services which I continually declined. This is where I feel slightly cheated. I then went into the financing man's office, his name was John, nice guy and all, but totally knew how to manipulate a first time buyer. He continued to push the extended warranties which ran FAR over my comfortable budget. When he pushed them he showed me what my monthly cost would be with the options (in which is kept pushing down the interest rates). He made me think the this car that I was purchasing is going to fail on me, that I NEEDED to have these warranties and I believed it. I purchased the extra add on plans (two different: one service and one general extended) and have had a pit in my stomach about the decision ever since. I went back in today to drop off the title and extra keys for my trade in and asked for some further explanations, which I now understand that my 2014 used car is covered for 8 years beyond normal wear and tear (tires, brakes, belt, etc). Basically they manipulate numbers to get you to buy into these things. If you're a first time buyer, research everything about a dealership prior to going. I bought some things I highly doubt I will need in the future. I have slight piece of mind if something crazy does happen to this car I will hopefully be covered. Now I know for the future. I like Mazda's and you bet I'll be back at that dealership for every maintenance and service I'm paying for. read more

This review is strictly based on a conversation I had via email. I inquired about a vehicle listed on CarGurus. When a specific person followed up, I noticed the price on their website was higher than the CarGurus price. I followed up to confirm and he said the Mazda website was the correct price but if I can print out the CarGurus price to prove it, he would look into matching. When I went back to the website right after his email, they had already fixed the CarGurus price to match their Mazda website price. I replied saying, obviously someone just flagged it and updated it so I can no longer print it but never heard back. Perhaps it was my fault for calling the mistake out in the first place but I would assume this would be handled with better principle. This review has nothing to do with the website differences. It's about how it was handled after. Don't set a potential customer up by making a nonrealistic suggestion. Pretty bummed out based on their positive reviews on how such a small matter was handled. Looking forward to hearing back from them! read more

Heads Up Ladies!! If I could give a 0/5 I would. I had a very simple request from Dublin Mazda. I had a small broken piece in my trunk, and wanted to get that piece replaced. I went in, one of the managers said it was quick and easy to replace, they said it would be covered since my car was only 8 months old. And they ordered and called me when it was in. GREAT. So easy. I called back to make an appt & this is where things just got bad. I'll make the story short. I was told by a service representative that the piece I needed wasn't a simple fix, it was a multi-day job and the cost was not covered and the manager that told me it was free no longer worked there... I was on the phone for 3-4 days trying to find out the truth & trying to get a manager to call me back. After leaving multiple messages, I called the general manager after what felt like the 100th time he finally answered. I have never felt so offended. What a condescending, sexist creep. He couldn't even remember my name. He spoke down to me like he was disciplining a child and blamed all of the confusion on the fact that I called too many times. He said I was lying about what the service rep told me. I regretted purchasing my Mazda purely based off this horrible experience over something SO SIMPLE. I will never do any sort of business with Dublin Mazda. Clearly. They're rude, unapologetic, and think they could take advantage of me because I am a WOMAN and I look a lot younger than I am. I'm actually a very busy 30 year old that isn't going to put up with their garbage service. I will be sending a more detailed experience review to corporate. Good luck gentlemen. read more

We were shopping for a car since we had a VW TDI and due to the diesel scandal, VW was buying it back. So I went to Mazda and shopped for the CX-5. I have had problems with car shopping and car salesman so I was sort of dreading this. I worked with Gregory and he was fantastic. No stress at all. I went there over 6 times, 1 with my 3 year old and 1 with my 8 year old and probably did about 4 test drives. After doing my shopping and test drives of cars, I decided on a 2017 CX-5 and ended up working with Troy Dunlop to finalize the purchase. He was to easy to work with. He was able to keep this a smooth process. When it came time to drive away, he gave me a thorough rundown on everything and was super patient with me. Helped set up lots of the technology and made sure I knew I could contact him if I need anything at all. A few days later he followed up with an email also, to make sure I knew to contact him with any questions. Dublin Mazda was a pleasure to work with. I hope I dont have to shop for a car for a long time, however now I won't dread it as much. Thanks Troy! read more

So let me start by saying I have NEVER bought a new car or any car from a dealership befor. I've always been wary of car salesman and just didnt think it was for me. Until I met Tristan. (My salesman) Not only did this gentleman convince me to buy a 2018 Mazda 6, but he absolutely went out of his way to make sure I not only got the best deal possible but he took the time to make sure I understood everything from what my contract expected of me right down to staying late to make sure I knew EXACTLY how everything in my car worked, including setting up my blue tooth, music stations and all my new settings!!!!! I am now a PROUD Mazda owner and will be converting all my family's vehicles to mazda as well! If you are looking for a honest reputable salesman I HIGHLY reccomend you go see Tristan at Dublin Mazda!!! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this dealer! Everything went smooth! I would highly recommend them! And when you go ask for Keith! Really good guy made this buying experience so much easier for me read more

Michael B (The friendly guy with magic tricks) Keith (The Professor - he spent almost an hour teaching us about our new car) Stephen (the cool English guy) Sam (the boss that acts like he doesn't like kids...maybe?) The Bubbly Finance girl (you'll know when you see her) and the rest of the team.... What a great team you have there at Dublin Mazda. You didn't care how serious or not we were but you all did make us feel welcome from the moment we drove onto the lot. From Michael's 'no-pressure we're here if u need us & I got a magic trick for you' sales approach to Stephen's 'lets see what we can do to get you into this car and I got some great stories for you while you wait' to Keith's unbelievable 'pickup the new car experience'. We really are glad we bought a Mazda and we're even more glad we bought from these guys at Dublin Mazda. I'll definitely consider our next car to be another Mazda (will be our 3rd) just because of the way these guys took care of us. Great job everyone...bravo! read more

Troy assisted me in finding the right car for me. Not only that we went over the features of the car, a planned route to test drive on, had a lot of knowledge about the car I was looking into, and etc. He treated me with respect, answered my questions, and took his time to make sure I knew what the Mazda Sport has to offer. read more

I had a great experience at Dublin Mazda. I had the privilege of working with Troy who is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional. The dealership is really clean and the manager is great as well. Highly recommend Dublin Mazda and do yourself a favor and work with Troy! Recently bought a vehicle from Dublin Mazda and would like to thank Troy for his excellent customer service

I was going to wait longer to review, just to be sure, but four days after buying my little lady I can't contain it anymore...Dublin Mazda is amazing!!! I wasted a lot of time at other places, endured days of disappointment and frustration, then finally hit the web and landed at Dublin Mazda based on inventory and customer reviews. It was further than other dealerships, but the research definitely paid off. I really feel like the whole team went out of their way to make me comfortable and give me the best deal possible. I never felt any pressure, and the entire process was more clear and detailed than anywhere else I went. No handwritten offers in sharpie on the back of a piece of paper. I never once heard "What is it going to take for you to buy this car today?" (or else I would've walked out!). At one point I was nervously waiting, visibly anxious, and one of the back office guys walked by me and said "don't worry, you're approved." Whew! Buying a car is an emotional roller coaster, but in a nutshell - I love my car, I love my loan, and I LOVE the dealership. How many new car buyers can say that? Well done, Dublin Mazda...I can't thank you enough. Shout out to my salesman, Reyes, and John, the finance guy. That's how good they are...even the finance guy gets kudos. If you want a Mazda, you owe it to yourself to visit Ken Harvey's Dublin Mazda. read more

We bought a 2013 Mazda3 there several months ago and worked with Juan V. He and the team worked with us, answering a thousand questions my husband had for them. We left very happy. We were very impressed with the service we got from there and the fact we have been saving gas with our Mazda3 that comes with the Skyactiv engine, we went back a few months later and traded in our Sienna for a 2013 C-X5 with the Skyactiv engine. But before we did so, we did research on the value of our Sienna's trade-in. We stopped at several places, and got a good deal with one dealership. We took the information we had and showed Juan. The amazing thing is that they were willing to work with us on that offer we got from another dealership. Again, we left very impressed. We will be back when its time for a trade-in or a new car in a couple years. People are referred to this place as the staff are great people to work with, one less worry in the back of your mind when buying a vehicle. read more

I went in here a month ago to buy a 2014 Mazda CX-5, knew exactly what color and specs I wanted (grand touring, soul red, AWD of course!), and had a VW to trade-in. I called before I went to check on inventory, and from the start, Danny was very courteous and helpful. After getting there and test driving - there were 1-2 roundtrips of negotiation needed to get to a final deal, but Danny, Gregory, and Sean were very helpful and pleasant to work with. At the end, they worked with me for a reasonable trade-in value and fair price for a new model year car. Both Danny and Greg were very knowledgable and gave some good tips in the car walkthrough - although some people might think a feature walkthrough for the car is TMI, I actually appreciated it since the car is packed with some great technology features I was not familiar with. The only negative to mention was that the car buying/financing process needs to be quicker. For a customer like myself who has excellent credit and knew exactly what I wanted, the transaction should not have taken longer than 60 minutes (-1 star). As for service, I'm very happy that they threw in a complimentary 1k check up and 5-7k oil change. Love the new car! Will buy here again if I ever want to pick up another Mazda. read more

As a preface ... I 'hate' car dealerships. Especially Service Departments. I've always walked out of them angry and feeling like not only was I ripped off, but I had to endure bad attitudes. As an example, the last major service on my car done at Fremont Mazda included the mechanic leaving for vacation after disassembling my car and having it sit there for 3 weeks - meanwhile telling me they were back ordered on parts. Maybe it's me, maybe I'm unlucky .. but that's my typical experience. I'm not a big reviewer, but I appreciate good customer service and Dublin Mazda deserves my time to say thanks in this review. Brought my car there recently because the AC was broken. Got a quote, left the car and went off waiting for whatever problem was sure to pop up. The service writer called me that same afternoon, not with a 'oops' but rather to tell me that after researching my problem, they had come up with alternative solution that would save me a lot of money and still replace the bad part. I was floored. After I agreed to the higher priced quote, they actually went out of their way to save me money. Finally a dealership that understands how to build GOOD relationships with customers. Dubin Mazda will always have my business. read more

We recently purchased a used 2013 Mazda CX-9 from Dublin Mazda. After weeks of research we narrowed it down to getting a Mazda Certified 2013 AWD CX-9, and Dublin Mazda had six on the lot, the best selection in Northern California. Each car had a booklet inside describing the model, mileage and features, as well as the car fax. Juan Vasquez patiently and cheerfully went through all six CX-9's with us, inspecting every scratch and smudge. He had no agenda to sell us any particular one. We made a choice, test drove it and got down to business. Dublin Mazda does their research and prices the pre-owned cars at the low end of competing internet offerings, so there's not a lot of haggle room, but Juan and Reyes worked with us on the trade-in and we were able to do the deal. My least favorite aspect of car dealerships is being handed off to the finance officer to complete the paperwork and get the hard sell on the extended warranty and maintenance plan. Our guy John did his job and while unhappy with our decisions, he was reasonably polite about it. I've endured much worse. And he beat our pre-approved financing by a quarter point. All in all we had a positive experience buying our CX-9 at Dublin Mazda, and we got a better car than anticipated. Juan Vasquez was great to work with - knowledgeable, patient and respectful. read more

I bought a used certified 2013 Mazda3 on August 24, 2014. (I reviewed Dublin Mazda the very next day, but the review has mysteriously disappeared, so here it is again!) I've bought a lot of cars over the years but this was the best experience I've had with a dealer. Although Dublin is a bit of a drive for us, we chose this dealership because they had, by a fair margin, the largest inventory of used cars, including certified pre-owned cars, of any Mazda dealer in the Bay Area. I worked with Allan Bentley, who was unfailingly courteous, friendly, very helpful, no-nonsense, and no-hype, and I'd encourage anyone who's interested in buying a Mazda or any other car at this dealership to seek him out. He made the experience of buying a car, which can often be trying, a pleasant one. The dealer's management and finance team was also excellent. read more

I just purchased a car, and I had the best salesman I've ever dealt with - especially in car sales! I worked with Keith Morita , and just had to say that he goes above and beyond. I've never had a sales person take so much time to help me understand my new car. Thanks Keith, I'll highly recommend you if the opportunity arises. read more

I had such an amazing experience as a first time car buyer at this dealership. I purchased the Mazda CX-5 from the sales person Robert. I got the most amazing customer service throughout the entire process. I never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision. I was in the dealership for over 5 hours and not ONCE felt this way. I would totally recommend buying a car from Robert. He is super personable and funny. THEY ARE NOT PUSHY HERE. I was also able to negotiate a great price. After many trips to the managers office Robert was able to get me down to just $6 over my monthly car price. I bought a brand new car and got approved for an unbeatable loan. Rossie in the finance department helped me answer all of questions I had in regards to loan, and trust me I had a lot. Never felt rushed during this process either. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I would highly recommend. read more

I was pleasantly pleased with my car buying experience at Pleasanton Mazda. Aaron, Rosie and the entire Mazda family were a pleasure to work with. He was even kind and patient enough to find a sales rep at Honda because I was interested in the Honda Civic as well. Long story short I stuck with Mazda and I'm so happy with my decision. I'm not sure which was better driving off in my brand new 2017 Mazda 6 or the wonderful customer service I experienced. I would definitely refer my friends and family to Dublin Mazda. read more

Purchased a 2017 CX-5 with the help of internet salesman Bill Scholvin. I got a very competitive price and the process was painless. The price was much lower than those hokey Truecar or Costco arrangements. I looked at a lot of cars at a lot of different dealerships and Dublin Mazda was very knowledgable about what they carry, had a lot in stock to choose from, and were willing to give me a good deal. I've purchased a lot of new cars in my years and this was one of the better experiences. I might add that many of the dealerships in the bay area are dumps compared to the dealerships on the east coast in size and facilities. I don't know what it is about California car dealers. But the Dublin Mazda dealership is beautiful. read more

I brought my wife's Mazda Miata in today for a recall and oil/filter change. This was our first visit to Dublin Mazda. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. Damon Becerra was our Service Advisor. Damon was friendly, helpful and informative. Damon even applied a ten dollar off coupon. He advised us that we would be contacted when our car's service was complete. The car was ready when promised. Our Technician, Mark Bugay sent me a video showing the inspection and servicing of our car. We have never received anything like this before from anyone servicing our vehicle. All companies should institute this. Mark thoroughly explained what was done to our car and that it was ready for pick-up. Needless to say, we will be returning to Diablo Mazda for our car servicing needs. read more

My wife and I just bought a 2016 CX3 for her at Dublin Mazda We are very happy with both the car and our experience with the dealership. Mistakes can be made and made up for. Starting at the top... I brought my car in because it was having issue starting hot, I was able to drop it off easily and was provided a loaner car for the day. It turned out the the engine had low compression and needed to be replaced under warranty. I was told that it would be a few weeks to get it ordered and installed. I was also told that if I paid for the parts they would install a new clutch for me while they where in there for no additional labor charge, awesome. There was some issues getting my engine shipped but in the end when you are going to replace a entire engine a few hiccups are expected. Once they got my old engine out they suggested that i replace the spark plugs because when the engine when kaput it fouled them out. again, I paid for the parts and was not charged any extra labor, awesome x2! After they got the new engine in and running they found that somehow while transferring parts from the old engine to the new engine the radiator and two ignition coils had been damaged. They did the right thing, the HONEST thing and took care of it for me at no charge, with no hassle. I was amazed that any sort of speed bump I ran into, Paul, the service adviser who was helping me, Jerrod, the service manage, and even Lyle, the general manager all made themselves available to go over any concerns with the car or the repair. I was able to spend enough time with Lyle, the general manager that he was kind enough to set me up with a very specific car off the used lot for me to use as a loaner car. I am in the market for a new mazdaspeed 3, and now after driving one for a few days while my car was in the shop and seeing how amazing and helpful the staff where at Dublin Mazda, I know where I will go with my down payment. Straight to Lyle. I big thank you to Paul, Jerrod, and Lyle at Dublin Mazda TL;DR---All the staff, all the way up to the general manger where awesome, upfront, honest and really went the extra mile. I would recommend the sales department and the service department for anything you need. read more

My expectations are high and it's not often, those expectations are exceeded. We have been loyal not only to the Mazda Brand, but to the Dublin Mazda Dealership. Over the weekend we leased our fourth Mazda, from this dealership. Dublin Mazda consistently exceeds expectations, from the moment you walk into the door through to the time you trade in your vehicle for the next. When you receive an experience like this, you know the leadership provided by the owner, and dealership management set the tone and expectations. The success of their business is truly an example of their leadership. In addition to representing one of the best car brands out there, one particular member of their sales team is the most phenomenal car sales representative we have ever worked with. We've had many cars and many brands, however Keith Morita is the reason we continue to remain loyal to the Dublin Mazda location! Keith is more than just a sales person, he is knowledgeable, caring, genuine, and treats you like family! We will continue to work with him in the future and already looking forward to our 5th Mazda in three years! I don't want to leave out some other outstanding members of the Dublin Mazda Family! We've had the privilege to interact with the General Manager, Dave Brown, their excellent service department, their Sales Manager Alex, Harry and their front desk administrative rep Tracy! What a team! Thank you Dublin Mazda for consistently exceeding our expectations and for raising the bar! You set the tone and have the business model other dealerships should be modeling! I just bought what is my family's 5th Mazda from Dublin Mazda. My sales representative,Keith Morita, was absolutely amazing. He was patient and worked hard to make sure I was satisfied. Keith really walks the walk as he also drives a Mazda. The day after I bought the car, he called to see if I had any questions, and on the day I was picking up my car he sent me a picture so I can see how beautiful my car was. Keith really took the stress out of the whole process. Additionally, John in finance was great. Don't go out of your way, because they won't either. I stopped by this dealership because they had a specific color CX-5 that I wanted to buy. I was helped by Bruce. Prior to shopping I had done the usual research on the car's price. CX-5's sell for an average 400-700 below MSRP, which isn't much given that it is Mazda's popular model at the moment. When it came time to negotiate the car's price I was bluntly informed by Bruce that the price of the car is MSRP with zero room to negotiate. I was told that Dublin Mazda has too many customers buying the CX-5. I certainly hope that is true, because they just lost one in me. In addition, I didn't feel very welcome at the dealership shopping with my partner. At one point I overheard one of the other sales associates talking about him in a derogatory manner when he didn't realize I was in earshot. I don't believe the sales staff here is gay friendly. Bottom line - you will not get any flexibility in price at this dealership, nor will you get a friendly experience. I am taking my business elsewhere. read more
