    Mac N Cheeseburger and Fries

Came here when we arrived the evening before The Masters. We were happy to see other patrons there and had fun talking with them at the bar. It was busy, but we were served quickly and efficiently, and the staff was very nice. The food was great, we loved the friend pickles and cheese curds. I tried the Mac N Cheeseburger, which was a special for Masters week. It was great as well, I love the creamy Mac n cheese with the crispy Texas toast. I'd for sure come back again!

Second time here and nothing really impressive the food is okay... Service is slow to average... People in our group were given warm bottle beer. By warm I am talking room temperature and this was on a Saturday evening. If someone said the beer came from the warehouse to the truck to the table and bypassed any refrigeration.... I would believe it.

First time here & after reading all the recommendations, you better get those egg rolls!! The portions are perfect for sharing, there was only 3 of us but we made a dent in those nachos. Service was decent, our server was friendly. Great place to hang out too it seems like.

We haven't been out to eat when we come to Augusta. I chose this place because it was close to the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased by this place. It's nicely put together and very spacious. The vibe is great. The service was top tier our waitress made sure we were well taken of. I had wings and boy oh boy they didn't have those small wings. Flavors were great. I am coming back to Augusta to dine here again.

The parking lot looked super packed on a late Saturday afternoon, but we figured we would still try to get in. No wait, and the place did not appear full. The service was very friendly, and the decor was "barish". The food, however, was delicious. We started with drinks - list in the photos. We opted for the Black Cherry Cider, and it did not disappoint. He got the mac n cheese with burnt ends (it could have had a few more pieces included in the dish), but the mac n cheese was rich and creamy, and the ends were tasty. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with a side of mac - it was HOT HOT and good. The only reason I did not give this a five-star review was the restrooms were disgusting - they smelled terrible and needed a good cleaning. I can imagine this place gets pretty busy on sporting days, and on nights, they have live entertainment and are family-friendly in the afternoons and early evenings.

Good food, oysters were okay (obviously not as good as New England oysters), my club sandwich was fresh and came in big portion. It's more like a sports bar, great place to grab quick lunch and some drinks during the daytime, good atmosphere.

Who doesn't like a good brunch?! Doc's was recommended by a Facebook friend and I went for a birthday brunch with a good friend. The parking lot looked super packed, but there was still open spaces to park further in the rear. Walking into the establishment, there was lots of cheer going in because there was a football game on at the time. I was sat at a table very quickly and my waitress came just seconds later. (I love that) I decided to get the chicken and waffles with the unlimited mimosas. The waffles had a crispy texture and just the right sweetness, the chicken tenders were juicy, seasoned just right and went well with the side of gravy. If you're looking for mimosas, that MIMOSA LIKE BRUNCH MIMOSAS SHOULD, Doc's is the place for you. I tried both the pineapple juice and Orange juice mimosas and they both were a hit. If you like a sweeter mimosa, opt for the orange juice. The food came out quickly and we weren't rushed out like most other places that try to turn over tables quickly. Everything was A+ and this restaurant is now my #1 pick for brunch in Augusta.

Great space with a vacation vibe. We tried the Carolina hot chicken sandwich. Excellent! My husband loved it and kept commenting on how good the coleslaw was. I had the seafood skillet. It was good, but incredibly rich! I asked for some tortilla chips on the side so I could use them to eat the crawfish dip at the bottom of my skillet.

Starting with our drinks, we both had coffee-which I would return for the coffee alone! It was bold, curious, mysterious and honestly had me asking for the name of the coffee before I left! We had a server in training, so two servers! Both were outstanding! Quick to refill our drinks and remove plates that were empty. The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding. I was truly impressed, with his creativity and his attention to detail because it shined like a diamond from the front of house all the way down to the sweet lady filling the cakes when I was taking my pictures for this review! "Let me get it all full and pretty now before you get those pictures!" I mean, if she wasn't just the sweetest thing, and took 100% pride in her work. Same with the gentleman working the omelet station. He came in the day before to prep the fish (which is a long day of work!) The love they put into each dish truly shines through effortlessly! With permission, personally, I would suggest they rename their Sunday Brunch to "Soul-filled Sunday Brunch" because #1 I left ready to go to sleep! #2 I had a religious experienced during that meal, in blessings and dining I have only ever had at Church Potlucks! #3 It elevated some fancy and some common foods to such heights, I was expect to be hearing gospel music while I ate! #4 Personally, I hope heaven's banquet table is much like today's-full of love, flavor and most importantly-community! Everyone from other diners enjoying their brunch to servers, sous chefs to the top man himself-not one person wasn't smiling from ear to ear. It's been near a decade since I've seen that many smiling people all in one place! While I will have to limit how often I come for Brunch lest my clothes start shrinking! Edgar's by far, takes the trophy for elevated dining experiences in Augusta, Ga! Best of all, a percentage of all their sales goes back directly into Helms College (located in the same shopping center.) Helms college offers hands-on education in culinary arts, health services, and industrial trades like HVAC/R. Keep up the amazing work, I eagerly look forward to dining with you again!

I am an avid food lover, and I photograph just about every beautiful dish placed in front of me. But Cork & Flame was different. From the moment we walked through the doors, the experience was so exceptional and immersive that, for once, I simply forgot about the camera. I was too busy being present and enjoying every moment. We were immediately greeted by smiling hostesses who congratulated us on our anniversary. While we waited to be seated, we were presented with two beautiful flutes of champagne,- a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for what was to come. We were also presented with the most thoughtful Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff. Once seated, we were welcomed by an incredible team, but our waitress was truly in a class of her own. I have never encountered service quite like hers. Her knowledge of the menu was exceptional, and every detail of the evening felt intentional. The way she guided us through our selections and thoughtfully presented each course made something as simple as ordering dinner feel like part of a carefully choreographed work of art. We began with an amuse-bouche, and even the experience surrounding it was remarkable. Before enjoying it, we were presented with the most thoughtfully prepared Japanese hand wipes, delicately infused with yuzu and hydrated right before us in the most discreet and elegant fashion. It was such a small detail, but one we never knew we needed until we experienced it. It was the kind of thoughtful touch that made the entire evening feel so carefully considered. Then came the beef and onion empanadas, and they were absolutely out of this world, beautifully prepared and exploding with layers of exciting flavor. Alongside them came a beautiful board of crunchy, delicious bread paired with the lightest, fluffiest butter I have ever experienced. The butter itself was infused with a subtle smoky flavor and was unlike anything I have ever tasted. Somehow, even something as simple as bread and butter felt completely elevated and memorable. For our entrées, we were once again completely blown away. My husband had the lobster gnocchi, bursting with incredible flavors of lobster and chorizo, perfectly balanced and beautifully finished. My entrée was the chef's special by ,Chef Gaston, a breathtaking rosemary infused skirt steak served with whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. It arrived beneath a beautiful dome that preserved the aromatic smoke until it was lifted tableside in front of me. It wasn't simply dinner; it was a presentation, an aroma, a moment, and an experience all at once. And then came dessert, which somehow managed to continue the perfection of the evening. My husband enjoyed an incredibly decadent yet surprisingly light dessert accompanied by an assortment of unforgettable dips, including a pineapple dip unlike anything we had ever experienced. I opted for a refreshing and beautifully light Limoncello tiramisu, and once again, every element was executed flawlessly. From the food to the presentation, the service to the smallest details, everything was truly top tier. There was such a level of care and intention behind everything we experienced that it made the entire evening feel incredibly special. It wasn't just a meal--it was an experience thoughtfully designed from beginning to end. Cork & Flame doesn't simply serve a meal--it creates an experience. It feels like stepping into another world, almost like taking a culinary journey without ever leaving your table. Every course tells a story, every detail has a purpose, and every member of the staff seems genuinely invested in making your experience extraordinary. I would recommend Cork & Flame a million times over--not just for the food, but for the entire experience. If you appreciate culinary artistry, exceptional service, thoughtful details, and a restaurant that genuinely cares about creating a memorable evening, this is somewhere you absolutely need to experience. And honestly, the fact that I have no pictures to show you might be the greatest compliment I can give. For once, I didn't need my camera. I just needed to be present for one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had.

The ambience has changed, the food quality has changed and serving sizes have definitely decreased while prices have gone up. A favorite go to has been their Crab Chop. We ordered the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, two orders of Crab Chops and steamed oysters. When the fried green tomatoes arrived they were not the quality we have received every time visit. The breading was a different flavor and texture, the tomatoes were not hot. They seemed to have been prepared earlier that day. The steamed oysters we ordered were delivered to the table raw. We sent them back and when they were delivered again they were prepared correctly but they failed to bring any horseradish or lemons. Our Crab Chops were overcooked, not warm enough and borderline tasteless. Rather than embrace ourselves in front of our guests we let everything slide.
