Gamecock roll

Visiting for overnight stopover I came to this place because of the nice cheap happy hour menu. We don't have happy hour in nc and definitely don't include buffalo trace in many drink specials. The sushi was ok and the jerk shrimp tacos had decent flavor but need some sort of sauce on them as it was kind of dry. The ladies at the bar were very nice and attentive.

Our server Katelynn, and her manager Harley were so amazing and made sure we loved our meal. They serve amazing sushi and their outside patio with firepits are so awesome. They are pet friendly on the patio also. My dog enjoyed the pup roll and salmon, and our rolls were all so so good! I would highly recommended this place and would definitely go back again and again!

Sole is a great downtown establishment. The staff is awesome, the long bar is something to behold and the outside bar is fantastic. I had the mashed potato spring rolls and a spicy tuna roll. Both were excellent. I also had a couple of regional craft beers. I would have liked to try a cocktail or two, but couldn't stay long. They have ample tvs displaying any number of sporting events, which is great. Combined with a large and open dining area, this is a spot to come and hang out on your own or with a group. I can't wait to go back!

Ambience. B Service. A Food. A Price. A Found in Broad street with lots of street parking. huge space with indoor air conditioning and lots of outdoor seating. full bar and lots of television around. Can get really loud with crowds. Tons of staff to get support and recommendations. I love mondays as they have $5.50 sushi rolls ALL day!!! Made to order. Nice texture of rice and nori with fresh tasting vegetables and raw and cooked seafood options. I'm a FaN!!! I love them all!!

Sole is one of the few places I keep coming back to downtown and is always consistent with great customer service and food quality. The one thing that keeps reeling me back in is the mashed potato egg rolls, simply the best! The tacos are great but the sushi rolls are phenomenal, just the diversity of what you can get in a single sitting doesn't get much better plus it's great for sharing with your table if you can't decide. Me and the wife usually split a roll and the street tacos and that calls it a night for us. The drinks here are fantastic, such a large selection they have about everything you need and if you are a whiskey/bourbon drinker such as myself they have all the top tier bottles to select from. This last time I was here I had 2 old fashions and they were so good I forgot my card when I left, not to worry I had an Uber take me home however she prefers I call her my wife. Always have a plan! The thing I love about this spot is that they have a great indoor area but also a large outdoor patio both upstairs and downstairs that is great during the winter when they have fire pits to sit by. They have live music that comes through and one time even had water pong tables available late le in the evening with a DJ and dance floor to drink and have fun with friends.

A friend had recommended this place for dinner and it was a good choice. We started with the mashed potato egg rolls which was unique but very flavorful. Also had the spinach dip. It was fine once added a pinch of salt. For entree I had the Gamecock roll. Ended the night with cheesecake it was creamy. This restaurant has plenty of space inside so would be great for a big party.

Tonight was a very special night for my Line Sisters and me. We celebrated our first Founders Day, . We'd began calling around a few weeks ago to different restaurants inquiring of reserving for a large party. Some places told us they just couldn't accommodate us, others wanted a $200 deposit upfront, wanted to give us select options from the menu...it was crazy. I told one of my Sisters that I was gonna reach out to Solé and see what they say. I first sent an email on January 4th, a weekend. The restaurant was closed the 6th-9th. It didn't look good. BUT a couple days before they were due to open back up, I received a response from one of the managers, Rachel. She told they don't take reservations, but they could set me up for priority seating. Rachel asked me what date, what time, and how many people. We were confirmed for 20 people, 6 pm, January 13th. Our number grew and we worried that we may not all be able to sit together. I went in a little ahead of time to see if we could increase our count. I did not the get the young lady's name up front, but she said, "no problem". I said all of that to say, Solé gave great service from beginning to end. The food was good, service good, great atmosphere. Thank you again to all of the staff that helped in anyway! 10 out of 10!

Came on a Saturday around 8:30 on our way back home from Miami. Party of 2 we sat immediately. We have sole in Seneca where we live and was missing it. This one is so much better! It's bigger and they have music(kinda loud) We sat outside because it's cool outside tonight. We ordered the gyoza, a side salad, fireside, and the fiery habenero rolls(way hotter than Seneca, sc). Service was excellent. Fun environment.

This review is for the sushi 101 class/fundraiser Everything was very well managed from wait times to mis en plas for the sushi stations. There were employees who circulated to offer assistance, but for the most part this was pretty hands off and some of the pieces were very creative. After we finished the rolls we queued up to have them sliced. The lines got long but moved steadily. I took mine to go and was offered wasabi and ginger as well as a choice of sauces. I enjoyed the demo and would be interested in others.

The unassuming place is absolutely huge inside. Doesmt looknlike much outaide butnwhen you go inside its very trendy & comfortable. About 10 tvs on the wall and a bar with comfy chairs almost the length of the building. The place was about half full. Wait staff kind and very attentive. The fried gyoza was great. The mashed potato egg rolls were very different. Not bad but not really that memorable. They needed some Cajun spice like some Tony Chachere inside and the Cajun Ranch needed some too but overall good. The sushi was pretty but lacked flavor. It was just ok. The fish was fresh so nothing like that but it just needed flavor or maybe some salt or rice vinegar or something. It was all.jsut average. I would go again because it was a really nice ambiance and welcoming but what we ate was just okay. We will go back and maybe try burgers...

First time here for dinner. The restaurant was clean. The staff is nice , our waitress was helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. Everything went well here. Except our waitress was not aware of the special's on the menu and I was charged full price for things. But other then that everything was good. I do recommend and we will be back. Overall it was a nice experience. The general manager was super nice he brought us a sample of the tiger sushi roll. They also have other food besides sushi.

The restaurant is unique on the inside and gives a somewhat hole-in-the-wall bar vibe (but cleaner). During the day time, I would say it is family friendly, but at night it can definitely get rowdier so go at your own risk, it is called Whiskey Bar after all. The burgers are very good and are cooked very well with lots of options for customization. I always go for the classic WB(K) burger with Swiss cheese and pickles. The waffle fries are always so crisp and yummy. The same goes for the potstickers as an appetizer. Even their other burger combos that seem strange are actually pretty good if you are into that type of burger. The service is always pretty good. Friendly staff that was quick. Not a long wait on a Tuesday night, but have definitely waited before on a Friday or Saturday. They have a first come, first serve bar as well. The tables can be somewhat cramped depending on where you are sat and it is definitely not an accessible place as the entrance is crammed and all the tables are high tops on the inside, the outside is better with low top tables and benches. The Diet Coke was okay. A little syrupy so their ratio on the fountain soda machine must be a little off. Still good, but I have had better. Overall, one of the best burger restaurants in Augusta and most stop place in the area!

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner.
