Fried lobster

Yay for Becks!! Came here to celebrate a friend at med school and so glad we did!! What a cute spot with a great upscale vibe inside. Our waitress was fantastic (I can't remember her name but she was a red head and super nice))! And she gave us AWESOME recommendations. We all got some drinks to start and of course we got some oysters (chef's choice). There was a great mix of briney or more sweet oysters and you could tell they picked them with care. For my main I got the fried lobster tail which was delicious. Brussels were also great (not my fave vegetable but I enjoyed these)! One thing was I wish the lobster came with butter instead of the Asian sauce but it was still delish. We ended the meal with dessert and the gooey butter cake was to die for but the peach cobbler stole the show. 10/10

went with some friends to celebrate a birthday on a thursday night around 7, pretty packed and parking was terrible. Staff was so incredibly nice, ESPECIALLY the host mackenzie! Our server was nice and friendly but couldn't really answer questions about the wines by the glass and when I asked about the oysters she just handed me her hand written list, for her, from her book. I feel like a printed menu would be much nicer and professional. The oysters were delicious but it's hard to mess that up. The okra was really tasty and the pimento hush puppies were good but lukewarm. I enjoyed my mussels, and you get soooo many for the price point which was nice. My friends said their steaks and fish were fine but nothing more, both bland. We ordered the slutty brownie and blueberry bread pudding for dessert and both were very delicious! Our server was sweet and put a candle in one for the bday girl. Overall we probably won't be back unfortunately, we had our hopes up and it just wasn't what we got.

Becks located at off Central Ave Augusta, GA Food: Fried Lobster Tail with Collards and Onion Rings. My first time eating fried lobster and it was so good , pleasantly surprised. Appetizer: Fried Oysters. What can I say fried to perfection... Blackened Grouper with Creamy Spinach and Potato. The grouper was sweet and flaky, no fishy smell or taste at all. Appetizer: Baked Chicken Wings. I enjoyed the wings however I found myself wishing for a spicier sauce but very good overall. Service: Our server "Anna" was super!!! Ambiance: Nicely lit dining area in the rear of the restaurant... much quieter than dining around the bar area

Becks gives off a fine-dining experience that locals love. I arrived right after opening and this place filled up very quickly on a Thursday night. I ordered the off the menu fried oysters. So delicious and perfectly fried. I would order this again and again. Please make these a regular staple. The ambiance was nice, tables were completed with place settings, a tealight candle and fresh flowers. Perfect for a date night! My entree included the fried catfish, collard greens and black eyed peas. It was okay, I think I was just hung up on the oysters. Definitely will return.

We enjoyed celebrating my uncle tonight for his birthday. The restaurant is very open and dimly lit for an intimate atmosphere. The hushpuppies were amazing. They had a smoky heat flavor and the pimento cheese was very creamy inside the hush puppy. The summer salad was delicious and the fruit was so sweet. The shrimp had a nice kick to it and the poppyseed dressing was the right choice. The steaks were cooked to perfection and delicious. The chicken sandwich was good but my daughter ended up removing the breading bc she didn't like the texture of it. After the breading was gone she said the chicken sandwich was really good. She enjoyed the homemade pickles that were on it as well. Our server was very attentive to our table and kept our drink glasses full and made sure we didn't need anything.

I came here for a special occasion and had placed a reservation. The atmosphere here cozy and their staff are super friendly. We got their mussels small plate, fish and chips, and shrimp burger. The portion sizes are very generous. Everything was absolutely delicious and the pricing was super reasonable. Will definitely be coming back again.

Best date night restaurant I've been to in a long time!! I felt like we were back on our honeymoon at an all-inclusive resort. We ordered the jalapeño and regular baked oysters, short rib with coconut rice and broccolini, soft shell crab with corn grit and stir-fry mix, and for dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée and coffee ice cream. I love that you can substitute any side with your entree. All the food was AMAZING. As for the service, our waitress was very nice. And it seems like the servers help each other out by clearing food and getting refills. They were all very professional and cleared plates in a timely manner. I wish I had more quality pictures, because these do not do this restaurant justice. Can't wait to go back again because I am already dreaming of coming back to Beck's!

What a delightful experience! Liz got our after wedding group a table in the back dining area on short notice. Not a large menu selection but there is something for everyone. Save room for dessert for sure.

I've visited Becks several times and love it! I only had one issue with my salmon during a past visit but it was corrected and I never had any issues since. I've always had amazing service. I don't like sitting in the back area and when I reserve, they make certain to place me up front where it's more livelier. I love the atmosphere at Becks! The food is delicious each time I go!!

A quick visit to North Augusta sent me immediately to Yelp to find dinner because I've never been to this area before and had no point of reference. We decided on dining at Becks. I immediately noticed that this restaurant was busting and wondered if we would be able to be seated without a reservation. I got that "OMG I'm so hungry...I'm in a panic" feeling in the pit of my stomach and I believe the hostess noticed! She calmly said to me "Honey, there is a reservation that is late but I'll give them a call and if they don't show up it's all yours!" She calls and I over hear her say "ok no worries we were just checking..." I prayed silently to myself for a cancellation and God answers prayers y'all! She handed the waitress our menus and told us to enjoy our dining experience! We were seated in the back room of the restaurant and it was also full but the tables are spaced apart nicely. Our waitress Kim hands down knew the menu and answered all of our questions and was so nice. Her recommendations were on point and the knowledge she had of each dish was like she created them herself! She did not miss! The BEST Chilean sea bass dish I ever had! Slightly charred but still moist and packed with flavor and that sauce on top? WINNER!!!!!! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals even the picky teenager cleaned his plate. Cant forget to mention the oysters we tried the St. Anne's, Malpeque, Pink Moon, Thunder Caps ALL TASTY AND FRESH! Thank you Yelp for sending me here!

Met up with some friends for a ladies night. I'm Glad we made reservations because this place stays packed. We got seated right away, nice ambiance low lighting with rustic chairs and tables. Our waitress was nice and suggested some great starters and drinks. When it was time to order she explained the specials so I was pleased. The food was really good! Overall great place to eat and socialize for it only being open three days out of the week.

We were put onto this place through a couple friends and we haven't stopped talking about it since…read more Natta and Angie were so incredibly welcoming and sweet. If you've never been there, they will start you out with samples of all of their lemonade (which all of them are incredibly flavorful) and you'll inevitably get one because it's THAT good. The staff comes with recommendations to help you navigate the menu and they are so attentive and helpful. I'd go as far to say that they had some of the best service in Augusta. Now to the food, 10/10 I could not recommend them enough. I've had the honey lemon pepper wings and the loyalty platter. And it was so good. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I've also had a few nibbles of their seafood and ‍. Then when you're ready for dessert, don't worry you get samples too. The blue velvet is my favorite but all of them are award winning so you can't go wrong when it comes to Nattas sweet treats. Over all, great experience, great people, and great place. Get out and support local, it'll never disappoint. P.S. if you think it's pricey, you're wrong. You get what you pay for here. You get no less than two meals out of one plate.

The portion sizes are generous and very tasty. I made a Southern Palmer with their Peach Tea and Unsweetened Ice Tea 1/2 & 1/2 of both mixed together, was the perfect beverage to pair with the Honor Platter. I finished the honorable meal with The Strawberry Velvet Cake Brownie & Red Velvet Brownie dessert pairing. The service from when I stepped in, while eating and leaving was exceptional, inviting and very pleasant. Shurell was fabulous, vibrant and a fresh of breath air. I highly recommend Kitchen Kings x Natta's Sweet Bakery to discover Augusta's Hidden Gem off Gordon Hwy. The Ambiance was the perfect R&B Vibe for a casual, sexy Saturday. The music Playlist was the perfect R&B garnish to the entire dining experience. I will be back for their Low Country Boil & the wonderful Strawberry Velvet Cake. Kings Kitchen x Natta's Sweet Bakery will not disappoint you. In fact, it will make ypur day better. Please honor my review and take a taste for yourself today and dine like a King or Queen mixed with sweetness from the Bakery.

The ambiance is nice. The menu offers several types of oysters, as well as about ten small plates and ten large plates. We split a frito misto, which included calamari, okra and Cod. We split a half dozen oysters to start and they were perfect. We chose to enjoy 3 of two types of the oysters from their selection. I could've easily had many more. We made the decision to split three of the dishes off the snacks at the top of their menu, which was plenty enough for two of us to share along with the oysters. We had the chicken thighs which were juicy and full of flavor. The brussels sprouts with the goat cheese and balsamic glaze was a combination of flavors and texture that were absolutely beautiful. I finished the evening with an adorable birthday dessert, which was a candy bar like dish with Nutella ice cream. The sparkler candle was so cute. We cannot wait to come back to enjoy more oysters, great food, and amazing service. A huge shout out to Nick for helping us make this evening amazing.

Huuuuge Sigh, I started this review seven days ago and again…read moresixteen hours ago. My apologies for the delay. I will start by stating that I am from NOLA, where Cajun is KING!!! I've spent countless hours researching both "online" and local fresh seafood. Yearning for a taste of home and having literally spent thousands of dollars on what I l will refer to "research and development". I placed a order for fresh crawfish (sold in 2 ish or 5 ish Lb ziplock bags) boiled with all the amazing fixings which consisted of soft buttery melt in your mouth potatoes, Cajun smoked with flavor and not just heat sausage, an array of onions and vegetables that were infused with flavors that continued to build and did not disappoint in taste. Boudreaux' displays such a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere that it's a hard sell to believe that this is actually a place of business. What with the inviting atmosphere and the gang sitting around the table in the back of a business eating crab legs, my mistake crawfish. Along with the precious babies running around, add a Beautiful friendly dog the size of Marmaduke and what do you have?? Louisiana in the great state of Georgia!!!!! Will I be back??? Sadly I tried and they were out of EVERYTHING!!!! I Managed to snag a $25 bag of large buttery shrimp and was so grateful for the opportunity to purchase. Pricey you say, not as much as a airfare, Lodging and meals to Louisiana. They are making one last crawfish run this week and you'll find me anxiously awaiting their safe return. Good luck and bring her home guys!!!! I would be remiss if I failed to mention the snowballs. I ordered one as an after thought and really just to be kind and out of respect for the beautiful hard-working woman behind the counter. These are like snowballs you have never tasted before in life!!!! Firstly, how do you make a snowball taste like ice cream without ice cream??? The hundreds of flavors that they offer are amazing and show stoppers in themselves. I mean who would've thought seafood and snow balls, that just doesn't make any sense unless, you get a snowball from Boudreaux's not to be missed Both in efforts to cool off from the 90 to 100+ degree temperatures, but for all the good things that you can make it, get the Crawdaddy size, you won't regret it and your welcome Pros-- all of the above Only con -- I'm still investigating, clearly I missed something, I don't believe in perfection. If I have to commit it would call for a minimum of 35 additional visit's but, as a Yelp elite badge holder, it's all about the sacrifice. Your welcome
