Crawfish was amazing as usual! I had the Happy Hour special. The service was great and I loved the ambiance.

First Time here! Happy Labor Day!

Big place. They have a sitting area in the front and back. The service was excellent. Our server was cool and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was delicious. Now the catfish, I ordered it blackened and it was really salty. I was thinking the catfish was going to be bigger so I will definitely not do that again. Other than that, I still will recommend and come again!

This is one of my favorite restaurants when I come to Augusta. The decor is simple and rustic, but the food is excellent. The fish dishes are really good, but one of my favorites is the black-eyed pea jambalaya, which you won't find anywhere else. Service is friendly and fast.

Casual spot with great staff. Most importantly the food is amazing and FRESH! I've been here multiple times and have never had a bad dish. The best item in my opinion (personal preference) Oysters Rockefeller. Certain items can be steamed, blackened or fried which is an added plus.

Every time I got to Beamie's the food is great and the service is even better which i really appreciate. I do like the ambiance of inside seating versus outside though. We will be back!!

Sometimes you have to take the fried food dive. I ordered the seafood platter with catfish which I requested to be extra crispy. They didn't disappoint. Oh, fyi it was my first time trying oysters. I only sampled one because they come with bacon which I don't eat and it was actually tasty. I'd definitely try again, minus the pork. Customer service was awesome our drinks were weak! But I'll be back.

The food is absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is great. The service is above Top Notch!

Baylee's service was amazing, pours were strong and vibes were off the charts sitting at the bar. Highly recommend coming while she's on shift. First time having oysters and this place made me a big fan!

We picked Beamie's at the River because of its reviews, that it was a casual seafood restaurant, and that it might be along the river. First off, Beamie's is not on the Savannah River, it is a few minutes' walk away. There is no view of the river at Beamie's. From the moment we entered, there was an awkward vibe from the folks who worked at Beamie's. They were always in a rush to move, but the strange thing is that nothing was rushed about order taking or bringing out the food. They weren't unfriendly, but they really didn't know how to interact comfortably. The food was mostly tasty, but we remember some of the dishes being oversalted. We each had a beer, seafood or fish, hushpuppies, green beans, grits, and rice. If you have an aversion to dogs, please know that Beamie's lets dogs (including big dogs) in their restaurant. If you're in a pinch, Beamie's could work, but we figure there are better options.

I came to Beamie's with friends. I enjoyed myself! The food was great as well as the service. The prices are reasonable too. I had the basket with shrimp and catfish, and it was delicious! Overall a great place to get some seafood when you are downtown.

Happy hour was a joke. Maybe only 2 or 3 things on the happy hour menu. This place is overrated. Not coming back. It's a tourist trap.

I ordered the Australian Wagyu , it was okay, tasty but not tender. The side faux potato was awful. My partners pork chop was better. The crème brûlée was the best part. I'm still wondering if I would have preferred one of the specials. For the price of this meal I can go to other places such as Frog & Hen, or Cork & Flame, and get the crumbs scraped off my tablecloth with a knife. Sorry, but when a customer arrives expecting to pay top dollar for a meal, they expect the meal, the service and the atmosphere to be too notch as well. Brinkleys didn't hit that mark.

Equally impressive was the broccolini I know, right I don't even like broccolini, but this was so good cooked again perfectly with this delicious garlic with a little bit of Parmesan. Holy cow then there was the corn risotto. I don't know it didn't have cheese in it, but it was really good. I think I even like it better without all the cheese! I got Bernaise sauce on the side-again perfectly prepared beautiful flavor and consistency! Next time I think I'll go into the restaurant and try one of those amazing steaks... Parking was its usual Broad Street challenge, yet once inside there was plenty of space and an easygoing rhythm to the dining room. The only real hiccup was the slightly counterintuitive flow of things, since you order first and then find a seat, and I wasn't the only one who walked in and paused awkwardly until someone pointed out the process. I've said for a while that you should stick to what a place is named for, because ordering chicken wings at a pizza shop or a barbecue joint has burned me more than once, but tonight I ignored that rule and it turned out to be the right call. Mrs. K took down my side of fries with enthusiasm while I focused on the wings, meaty and generously sauced, the kind you finish without a second thought and then sit back with a local beer feeling like you made exactly the right choice. Every single one was worth it, no regrets at all, a small delight tucked inside a busy Augusta evening. I did see two of those massively stacked burgers get delivered to another table and while I was a little jealous, I know that having it without the bun wouldn't have honored it the way it should be. Maybe when I'm not on keto. [Review 228 of 2026 - 928 in Georgia - 25417 overall]

The restaurant is unique on the inside and gives a somewhat hole-in-the-wall bar vibe (but cleaner). During the day time, I would say it is family friendly, but at night it can definitely get rowdier so go at your own risk, it is called Whiskey Bar after all. The burgers are very good and are cooked very well with lots of options for customization. I always go for the classic WB(K) burger with Swiss cheese and pickles. The waffle fries are always so crisp and yummy. The same goes for the potstickers as an appetizer. Even their other burger combos that seem strange are actually pretty good if you are into that type of burger. The service is always pretty good. Friendly staff that was quick. Not a long wait on a Tuesday night, but have definitely waited before on a Friday or Saturday. They have a first come, first serve bar as well. The tables can be somewhat cramped depending on where you are sat and it is definitely not an accessible place as the entrance is crammed and all the tables are high tops on the inside, the outside is better with low top tables and benches. The Diet Coke was okay. A little syrupy so their ratio on the fountain soda machine must be a little off. Still good, but I have had better. Overall, one of the best burger restaurants in Augusta and most stop place in the area!
