Went here for Father's Day and it was great. It has a laid back relaxed casual vibe. Our service was great thanks to Bri for taking care of my family. Food was well seasoned and portions were good for the cost. Started off with the Visalia Onion Dip and Bravas and Brussels. Then for main meals I got the daily special which was a Blackened Pork Chop over Mashed Potatoes with a side of Crispy Brussels Sprouts. My wife had the Prime Rib which was seasoned to perfection. Our kids had the Blackened Salmon and the other had the Chicken Caprese. Everything tasted great and we had wanted to go here and finally did and will most likely be back again for a different dish or two... and sorry I only got one pic of the drink we got, oops. read more

Came here on Sunday and they only offered brunch - which was totally fine. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the rest of my party all ordered the chicken and waffles. Everything on the chicken and waffles and the biscuits and gravy was super spicy. I could not finish my meal. I was super excited for the idea of my meal, but it really over powered the meal. Even the people at our table that liked spice, said all the food was spicy. Service was okay, our waitress seemed occupied with other tables, but food came out fast. Drinks were not refilled and the water carafes were refilled once the bill was paid. Small little place that sits about 50ish with a bar so reservations are a good ideas. This restaurant is in a high end shopping center but I found it to be very mediocre. The menu is uninspired. Not bad. Just nothing to write home about. I'll tell you what made me unhappy. We were there on a 95 degree day. When we were seated our waitress brought us a carafe of water and 2 glasses. Room temperature water and no ice. I asked for ice and she brought us a cup of ice. Not really enough for 2 people and it melted down as soon as I poured water over it. I figured that the only way I would get ice was to order a drink, so I ordered ice tea. That usually comes with ice. Right?? Well our waitress said that she had to brew me a fresh cup of tea which when you pour that over ice the ice melts away and again I had a glass of room temperature tea. I couldn't get a cold drink here to save my life. And did I mention that it was 95 degrees out? My wife ordered a Rubin sandwich, not realizing that it was a spicy sandwich. One bite and she was done. She doesn't like spicy food so I traded her for my simple bacon egg sandwich on a bagel and I had her spicy Rubin. And it was spicy! They had a mustard that must've been made with jalapeño and if you like heat, you will like this. Plenty of parking. Full bar. Clean restroom. Very average. read more

My fiancée and I looked at the menu and were sold. It was small and simple but all looked great. I made reservations for dinner on Black Friday. The inside and bar area is small, a bit dark yet inviting. Our server was Cassandra. Down to earth and very attentive. She told me that their menu changes. That's a good thing. It's always nice to try different meals. I would describe their menu- Southern American fusion. They serve appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, entrees and dessert. They do have happy hour and specials. The bacon jam went well with it. Then our entrees came out. My fiancée and I split the beet salad. So good! My dad demolished his plate. He really enjoyed his pork loin with the veggies. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner. We chose Finch and Fifth for lunch as it was recommended by our credit card company. We arrived just five minutes before noon on a Monday and ordered pretty quickly away. It took 35 minutes for our appetizer (onion dip) to arrive and an additional for our food, resulting in 55 minutes for our entree. We were told once we asked what the hold up was that the kitchen was slammed. This was crazy as we were one of the only 6 tables full! Even with a slammed kitchen there's no excuse. For our entrees, I had a salad and sadly my cucumbers were not edible. My partner had the turkey sandwich with slaw. The sandwich was good and the slaw super watery. I wouldn't recommend coming here. It's a shame since it's adorable inside and in a good area. read more

What an absolute gem of a spot, especially during their happy hour drink and food specials. Cocktails are great, and the food specials include a couple of dips (the Vidalia dip is amazing) with house-made pita chips, a trio of really well prepared sliders, and a few other things, including some super cheap boiled peanuts if that's your thing. Star of the show, IMO, is the charcuterie though, and on Wednesdays, it's half off. Take a look at my picture -- even on 1/2 off days, they are not skimping on quality or quantity. Fifth and Finch is one of the epitomes of southern fine dining. They do a great job with the few things on the menu. Elias one of their bartenders is a fabulous human and the drinks are delicious. They even have great mocktails. It's definitely a nice date night place with dim warm lighting and classy bar vibes. I enjoy most of their appetizers such as the dip and bravas and Brussels. They have a smaller menu but things are cooked well and are fresh. I enjoy my time going here and I don't feel disappointed when I leave. The only caveat is the slight heart burn I get since food is very rich here. read more

We dined in at Finch & Fifth days before the 70.3 Ironman event. Upon walking in we were graciously greeted by our host and we chose to sit outside on the patio. We had a phenomenal dining experience thanks to our server Ally who was an absolute delight and master of hospitality including her knowledge of the menu as well as her recommendatons which were all spot-on! We started off with the Braised Peach Crostini (yum) and several of us opted for the NY Steak Strip dinners which were flavorful & delicious including the silky smooth and buttery mashed potatoes. We also had the Pork Tenderloin Roulade which was cooked perfectly and juicy. Paired our dinners with their signature Old Fashion cocktails and we all split the Cheesecake. Ended the evening with a Scotch and expressed our gratitude for the exceptional service and engaging demeanor which elevated the quality of our meal. Had the Bacon Blue salad with chicken and it was one of the best salads I've had in a long time. The bacon jam is perfection. Usually too salty or overly sweet, this one was was neither and had a hint of spicy bite and lots of chewy bacon. Really good. Finch and fifth is a place I commonly go to for their happy hours after work. They usually have a good selection of drinks and appetizers at a very fair price. I have had their bravas and brussels, sliders, and vidalia onion dip and everything has been nice to share. Stopped by the other day and ordered their christmas cocktails and sliders. The holly jolly mule was a vodka with cranberry lime and ginger beer making it a very refreshing drink. The feliz navidad and cocoa menta were nice and festive with chocolate and peanut butter flavor. Sliders are typical sliders but pretty juicy and a nice little side. Probably one of the best happy hours in augusta in my opinion, and I regularly come back here almost once a month. read more

This was such a fun experience! Our waiter had great energy and was so friendly and fun. Starting with drinks, definitely liked them- they were out of the drink I wanted to order, but they ended up making a similar cocktail on the spot, which I loved. The drinks did feel a little heavy on the ice, but we liked them regardless. For food, the absolute highlight of the menu was the bacon pimiento sliders. They were SO delicious that hilariously, my actual main burger paled a bit in comparison. Don't get me wrong, the burger was delicious as well but the sliders were next level. We celebrated a friend's birthday this time around. The food was delicious as usual and the service was great. I really wanted the sliders again but they weren't on the lunch menu. I had the shrimp and grits which was equally delicious. It was a bit loud in the back where I was being seated (no fault of the restaurant). There was a table of several making the noise so i asked to be seated in a more quiet area and the hostess had no problems moving me. I greatly appreciated that. read more

While in town for the first day of the Masters Practice Round, we stopped here to grab brunch on Sunday. When we arrived, the hostess asked us if we had a reservation (which we did not) and she made it seem like she was squeezing us in. There were a few empty tables inside and outside though throughout our meal so not sure what that was all about. While service felt slow (took a long time for drinks to come out, etc), our waitress was very pleasant. We decided to share the boiled peanuts and Vidalia onion dip to start. The onion dip was delicious, as were the chips that came along with it. The boiled peanuts were good but they were served in a bowl that was filled very high with the broth they were boiled in, making it very messy. I would recommend they just serve the nuts as is - we don't need all that broth. For entrees, I tried the Fried Chicken and Waffle while my friends got the Brunch BLT and Surrey Pig Bennie. The chicken & waffle was delicious; the butter on it delightful. The BLT was huge and looked really good. My friend said the pig bennie dish was average/underwhelming. All in all, we had a nice meal. The restaurant is in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking and other restaurant options. read more

Seemed like he was more concerned about a customer's table being too wobbly? I used to come here all the time because I wanted so badly to like it. I'm back in town for a brief visit and wondered if it improved. Unfortunately, the problems seem to have persisted the last couple years- primarily, the quality of the food and the pricing. For a slightly upscale establishment, the pricing would be fine, but the food & drink just do not make that cut. Many of the dishes I've tried have been simple and bland. Today, I only attended brunch. I ordered a mimosa ($8) and the biscuits & gravy with fried chicken ($19). The mimosa tasted good, but it was such a small amount, especially for being heavy on the OJ. I prefer it like that, so I think it tasted great, but way too small. I ordered the biscuits & gravy with added fried chicken- for some reason this was delivered in a small bowl. Trying to use silverware to cut the chicken in the bowl was useless, so it had to be torn apart. This made a huge mess. The bread was too dry & hard for my taste, but the sausage and gravy were delicious. Like I felt before, I would call this a mixed bag. You definitely have potential to have a wonderful meal here, but maybe try to peep what it looks like first before spending so much. read more

We have been here several times for different occasions (brunch, happy hour, dinner) and the food was always mediocre at best. It always takes a long time (30 plus min to get food, even when not busy). At least the ambiance is nice enough for business meetings and social gatherings. I finally decided to write this review after my most recent brunch experience because everything we ordered was horrendous for the price. Fried chicken and waffles: the waffles were so dense and rubbery, not fluffy at all. The fried chicken was so small, it was more like a nugget. Mexican hash with avocados and egg: The potatoes were raw. They were hard and uncooked! This is totally unacceptable for a dish that is 80% potatoes and cost $20 after tax and tip. I suspect this restaurant is still business because the fine dining options in Augusta are abysmal. They need to hire new kitchen staff STAT. I invited several friends with us to celebrate my husband's birthday luncheon. Either of us had never been to the restaurant. We all had the best time and our service was phenomenal. Our server was Chelsea , she was patient and didn't miss a beat. The food was amazing. We all enjoyed our meal. We ordered two Charcuterie boards which came to the table arranged beautifully. Unfortunately my burgers weren't even room temperature warm and after waiting 20 minutes after being seated for a waitress to start I didn't want to complain so I could get a new trio brought out. The grilled cheese was nothing impressive, along with the soup. I would recommend going and having a few drinks outside and enjoying some fresh air on the patio, but if you want food there are a few places on the strip that would be better choices.
