Nice Bar & Grill on the corner of 10th. We went in for lunch so it was not very crowed. I can only imagine how lively it gets in here during happy hour. The menu has alot going on, in all the good ways. I noticed many items in the style of New Orleans cuisine. Our waitress was kind and attentive. She provided friendly service. The have $10 lunch special otherwise expect to spend $13-18 on your meal. Everything we ordered was delicious. I would say the wings were a bit over on the salt & the sandwich was a little light on the filling. Don't let that stop you from trying them out. read more

The atmosphere is cool and the service was good. Amazing selection of beers on tap! My chicken tenders were significantly over fried to the point that they were close to burnt. When I asked the server if they are normally that dark she said yes that they fry them harder than other places. That's unfortunate because with such a light beer battered coating they had the potential to be so tasty. No need to fry that hard, in my opinion. The inside of the chicken tenders were nice and juicy though. The loaded fries appetizer was really good but it was the size of a side of fries. For $9.99 it should have been twice the size of what it was. My husband got 10 wings and really enjoyed them. We'd come back, but I wouldn't get the chicken tenders again or the loaded fries since you don't get enough food for the price. read more

I visited the restaurant on Friday around maybe 3 PM. It was not my first time so I will leave an average rating of the visits I've had. The service is typically OK, not bad but I wouldn't call it excellent. Definitely wouldn't say I had complaints before. It was definitely terrible this day. When we walked in, we were greeted, but the energy was very low. And her face looked as if she were upset we were interrupting her conversation. We proceeded to sit at the bar and I think we ordered waters. She asked for a drink orders and I asked about beer prices. She gave me a range which I found strange. It's such an inconvenience to have to ask how much every beer is when ordering. Arsenal has a rotating tap and WoB has a number of beers as well and there is never an issue with upfront pricing. Also my friend asked did they have a particular alcohol and she said no. So he asked what drinks does she like to make? She shrugged as if she were irritated. I did order a sour and drank it within five minutes and we left. When we were walking out, she was here to ear, smiling assisting another table. Typically bartenders makes suggestions when they don't have alcohol you were looking for. Or would at least have an answer when asked what drinks they like to make. She just seemed like she did not want to be bothered with us in particular so we left and went to the new tavern in North Augusta. I think I've eaten here two or three times before and I did not have any complaints. I actually think it was under the name Manny's the first time I visited. This was within the first 3 to 6 months of them taking that name. I think I ordered a burger, fries and wings. I'd like to say the burger was advertised as a Smashburger. It was not, but it was delicious. I do not remember the fries, but I do not remember disliking them. I do remember the wings being quite large and that's not to my liking. Since being under the name Tanks & Taps, I have visited three or four times. My new order has been the Chicago Tavern Pizza. I just get pepperoni. It's fairly simple, but I find it quite delectable. I have plans or have had plans to try the Detroit, but just never do it. I have heard great things about the chicken tenders and this was actually my reason for this visit. Maybe I'll return another day and I'll get that slightly above average service that I'm used to and Miranda won't be there so I can try them. read more

This place is legit! Don't let the outside of it scare you, might seem a little sketchy but the inside the place the be. Definitely a sports bar and the food was killer! Had the double downer which and could have done it again. The bartender was literally doing it all, waiting tables and bartending but did a great job. Definitely recommend this spot read more

I would have left 5 stars, but..... I ordered the $15 chicken tenders, and asked for bbq sauce. On the check they hit me with a $1 charge for the bbq sauce. The bartender clarified that yes, you have to pay extra if you want sauce with your chicken tenders. It's $1 PER sauce cup, (and one cup is very sparing for 3 strips.) I wish I could rate negative stars, and I hope whoever's idea this was catches a debilitating illness. It's okay, that person doesn't face the actual customers; their staff workers can listen to the outrage on their behalf. read more

Good vibe, but the service ruined it. The bar staff were terrible--long wait and no acknowledgment at all. Definitely won't be back.

Near 100 pull drafts/ full bar. Walk in and got an available seat. If real busy, just go up to server at bar. Otherwise, they'll eventually come to you. When busy, good luck trying to get attention. Manny now cooks, I hear. Advertised beat smash burger in town. Nicely well-done moist burger with lettuce tomato pickle. Wish burger had come out hotter. Cooked off pretty quickly. Albeit, a good hangover food with skinny fries. Very crowded and loud for 4:00 afternoon Sunday. I'm a Fan! read more

The changeover to Tank n Taps has been good. The food is good and the beer selection is pretty great; however, they were out of my first choice...dang! The staff is super friendly and Karaoke night is a hoot. There are some good singers and some with questionable voices. Nonetheless, good entertainment for all. They also have several TVs playing a myriad of sports. We enjoyed some F1 while we sang and drank. One thing to note is that Tank n Taps is one of the few places open late on a Sunday that serves food. Augusta is a pretty sleepy town and Sunday through Tuesday can be challenging to find places that are open. Stop by and enjoy a drink! read more

Odd bartenders and atmosphere. Went to a private event where 21+ wore wristbands, yet was rudely asked for ID when ordering a drink. Also found it strange that they took shots on the clock, coming from someone who also works at a bar. College students are still patrons and should be treated with respect. Thanks read more

a group of us came & there were 2 bartenders on a ga game. one bartender stayed taking shots instead of tending to customers and the other was working for the both of them. unless you like seeing tits and buying shots for her to take with you i dont recommend. read more
