Trashiest place ever. Bartender tried to overcharge me for an extra beer, and when I called her on it and told her exactly where I was and when I ordered each beer, she said "fine, I guess I'll pay for your beer then" and slammed the tab down on the table. I was still going to give her a nice tip despite the rudeness -- it's the holidays after all -- but Tubs McTubberson, their "security" decided to play Macho Man and threaten to "take this outside" or whatever annoying fat middle-aged white people think sounds cool to say. I was just there to have a few beers and sing a couple songs, and I was the legitimate opposite of belligerent. Literally sitting silently by myself. Guess they only want military folk there, no clue. Or maybe they're homophobic. Could be that too. Either way, never going back to this dumpster fire. When you pull in and think to yourself, "damn, this place looks rough," trust your gut and turn around. read more

We got the lemon pepper and mango jalapeño wing and a pulled pork sandwich. Let's talk about the wings, they fry them on with thick chicken skin so you get a nice crunch in texture along with flavor. Lemon pepper is one flavor your can't go wrong, along a lil more salty than a few other places I've been too. I wish their veggie portion was bigger to balance out the meal. And next is their pulled pork sandwich! It comes with choice of fries or a side salad. The fry portion was a lil small considering. And the sandwich was on the smaller side as well. It tasted amazing tho. Full is savory flavors and moist. Also great place to support your military! read more

I was trying to find something on or near Fort Gordon where I could simply go grab a beer. This place was listed as somewhere close, and honestly it was exactly what I was looking for. Plenty of parking, and a nice sized bar inside with PLENTY of seating area around the restaurant. They also have a bunch of dart boards with tall bar tables at each so you can rest your drinks. There's also a pool table for $1 a game. Most or all of the beers are in bottles, but they have a really nice variety of options and a pretty large list considering. I have now been there twice in the three weeks I have been here, and would probably make it my easy, local go-to bar if I lived at Gordon permanently. Every bartender has been super nice. I have never gotten food here, but they do have a full menu if you want to eat with your beer. I can't figure out why two of the previous three reviews were "not recommended" or removed. If anything, those are the two that SHOULD be part of the review as they are objective and provide relevant information that I would want to know. Before I chose this place the first time, it was those two Yelp reviews that I used to decide this was my best option. So, let me sum up the relevant information they posted: the bar is very supportive of the military, always nice! Also, it appears the bar was recently remodeled/redone and possibly new ownership -- the space is totally different from what it was previously in a good way. If you haven't stopped in to check this place out, do it. It's a fun place and I hope to go back one more time before I leave Georgia. read more

We loved this place, and the only things preventing it from a five-star rating were: 1) Lack of a drinks menu (even including a drink list on the food menu would be better than nothing), and 2) No draft beer options. Every bar should have some signature drinks, so the customers who don't drink beer aren't left with just seltzers. The bartender laughingly said there used to be drink menus, but nobody knew where they went. The place was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly, the patrons were nice, and the karaoke talent on a Friday night was worth seeing. That being said, we'll definitely be back, I hope to see this establishment continue to be successful! read more

Second time here since their remodel. The new place is so much nicer and the layout is great. Yes they still have pool and an abundance of dart boards. The menu is fairly small but the food is great. I am especially partial to their lemon pepper wings, and they rank high for me in the Augusta area. Great flavor, and not tiny, so they make a great meal. The staff are very friendly and the place is very clean. Check them out if you are in the area. read more

Love this place! For those that are local, it is the old Rub It Inn, but has been TOTALLY redone! It has a full kitchen and excellent pub style food. Actually, they have our favorite chicken wings in town now. It is an excellent place to play darts or pool, and they also have karaoke and live bands. In addition, the staff is talented, hard-working and friendly - hard to find around here these days. I highly recommend this place! read more

They have huge jumbo wings and they are delicious Garlic parmesian, I could only eat four they are so good. Very clean inside, its all brand new. The staff is friendly and they make you feel right at home. read more
