I am from out of town and staying with a friend. I found this restaurant today and had lunch and brought the friend back for dinner there. Absolutely amazing food, having lived by New Orleans for several years I was so excited. The food was on point and reminded me of my favorites from when I lived by New Orleans.

A group of 4 of us came here to eat on a Saturday evening. We didn't have reservations and they were able to seat us right away. Our waiter was Philip and he did superb taking care of us throughout our meal. We had an order of fried green tomatoes as our appetizer. Then we ordered our main course. I got the seafood au gratin and it was delicious! Everyone was happy with their food choices and would visit again!

Went here when I was Augusta craving a taste of home. I did not get that taste. I had the seafood stuffed trout. Overall very bland. The fish was cooked well, nice and crisp but just bland and so was the seafood stuffing. The best thing there was the house made honey something salad dressing. Ended buying a jar of that. But everything else was bland. No salt and certainly no creole or Cajun seasoning. I the service was good and quick and the place was chill. But food not good enough for me to go back.

Enjoyed dining with coworkers at The French Market Grille Augusta location for Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday. If you want to experience a little piece of New Orleans locally this is the place to go! There was live music and everyone from the waiters to patrons were decked out in Mardi Gras attire and beads. I would highly recommend making reservations or getting there early. The food is always delicious and worth the wait.

Food is good and good service. Price is reasonable as well. Ordered crawfish popcorn, she crap soup and cajun benedict Crawfish popcorn is okay, kinda lots of flour making it hard to taste the crawfish flavor. She crap soup (bowl) is huge amount, if you like creamy then it's good. Light taste of sherry. I'd personally prefer the one at Abel Brown closed by, less creamy, more crab and more flavor of sherry. Cajun Benedict is delicious. The poached eggs are good, crab chops are made really tasty, kind of like hashbrown.

My husband and I visited this place a few weeks ago and it was better than we anticipated. We got the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were crispy but they lacked flavor. We got the stuffed salmon and the blackened seafood pasta for our entrees and they were great. Both were well seasoned and fresh. The best thing about this place was the waiter. He was kind and attentive, even though he was the only waiter working and the place was pretty busy. This is a great place for a date night or just a nice dinner.

Ambience. B Service. A Food. A Price. A Late lunch at 1:00...lots of parking in private lot, albeit, can get full as surrey center has lots of businesses. Not much as far as decor has changed in ambience in 40 years. They have extended out for more window seating areas that looks out into the parking lot. Host was quick in greeting and appeased me picking my own seat. Server was quick to greet and serve and take order. I've been here Ordered fried oysters. $17. Comes with drink and salad. Avocado dressing is creamy and light. Fried oysters fried crispy outside and some a little over fried chewy oyster bites inside and some were moist morsels, albeit quite small size portions. I got 7 small oysters for the r lunch plate with nice pilaf rice and housemade tarter sauce. I'm still a fan! Remind me to call periodically to see if they have soft shell crabs on the menu!!!

Great food. Great service. Local charm. An Augusta classic. We've been going there for 30 years.

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. After we finished, I met the owners, and told them how much we truly enjoyed it all. They were very appreciative of my compliments. We would certainly stop by here again.

I looked up steakhouses near the area on Yelp and Finch & Fifth had the best reviews. My fiancée and I looked at the menu and were sold. It was small and simple but all looked great. I made reservations for dinner on Black Friday. The inside and bar area is small, a bit dark yet inviting. Our server was Cassandra. Down to earth and very attentive. She told me that their menu changes. That's a good thing. It's always nice to try different meals. I would describe their menu- Southern American fusion. They serve appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, entrees and dessert. They do have happy hour and specials. We ordered: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola -The drunken goat Spanish cheese -Red Dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad We started off with the charcuterie board and we all enjoyed it. The bacon jam went well with it. Then our entrees came out. My fiancée and I split the beet salad. So good! My dad demolished his plate. He really enjoyed his pork loin with the veggies. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner. Sarah was very sweet and nice to talk to. Everyone had a great time and loved the food! I can say we are fans and definitely coming back. Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful. Especially my parents, they hardly go out to eat and loved their meals.

From the moment we sat down, Hunter moved with the precision of a Navy SEAL and the grace of a gazelle. Before I could even THINK about needing a refill, he was already there, sweet tea in hand, like he had tapped into my subconscious. At one point I'm pretty sure he sensed my desire for extra ranch from across the restaurant. The steaks? Perfect. The rolls? Endless. The vibes? Immaculate. But Hunter elevated the experience to levels previously thought impossible by modern science. My buddy ordered his steak medium rare and Hunter looked him dead in the eyes and said, "Say less." That steak came out so perfect it nearly brought tears to the table. One guy stood up and saluted. I watched Hunter carry 14 plates at once with the confidence of a man who has absolutely nothing to lose. Small children stared in awe. An elderly couple whispered, "He's the chosen one." At one point, I dropped my fork and before it hit the ground Hunter somehow replaced it with a fresh one. I still don't understand how. If Hunter ever leaves Texas Roadhouse, the stock market will feel it. 10/10 service. Would trust him to babysit my future children, officiate my wedding, and lead a small nation.

We had the chicken thighs which were juicy and full of flavor. The brussels sprouts with the goat cheese and balsamic glaze was a combination of flavors and texture that were absolutely beautiful. I finished the evening with an adorable birthday dessert, which was a candy bar like dish with Nutella ice cream. The sparkler candle was so cute.
