El Presidente Dinner part 1 Chicken Fajitas, Carnitas, Rice and Beans
    Richard M.

The salsa (and chips) has a little bit of ZING... I like it but some people who don't like it a little spicy, they might sample a little first. I had the El Presidente Dinner (Chicken Fajitas, Carnitas, Rice, Beans, Beef taquito, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and a Chimichanga), there's enough food for two people if you fill up on chips and salsa while the meal is cooked. Even if you don't fill up, it's a good sized meal for just under $20 and you'll probably not finish. The service was good and the restaurant wasn't very noisy. I will come back again and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Our waitress was ok. Service just OK. Food was great. We ordered the Texas rice-perfect amount of veggies and meats. Requested side of pico it was good and flour tortillas, could have given us more than 3 minis. The queso is soooo good. Salsa and chips are always great. The cheese enchilada was ok at best. To saucy and super flat. Meh. The super burrito my dad said was good. We also ordered a pitcher of Mango Margaritas which we asked to be on the rocks but she brought it back blended. Way too much Mango syrup concentrate however the alcohol content was decent. Just too hard to drink what thick of syrup. The bar was packed full of people and seemed to keep the attention of the wait staff. I've been several times mostly for drinks after work. I love the outside patio in the eves.

Dried steak and chicken. Burnt veggies

Worst tasting Mexican in Augusta. Veggies were burnt, and doa replacement order and they were raw when they brought them out. Its crazy that the steak and chicken were over cooked tasted burnt

As a family we were passing by during our travel. Was visiting the river walk and happen to find this Mexican restaurant close to river walk. Visited during the afternoon time, it was not crowded and we ordered soups and the other one was I guess it's kind of fajita. Overall the food was great and the quantity was really large for us. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. Definitely will visit again if I am up for Mexican and I am near the river walk.

Last month My cousin had her birthday party there. Everything was great to the food and service but I think I could be better with more help. They really need more staff especially at night. If anyone is looking for a job then they should definitely try their hand at applying. Oh, the place was really clean too! The manager and staff were amazing!

So I tried another Mexican restaurant! I ordered the strawberry margarita with a sugar rim. I am sad to say that it was very Soupy. It was not good. The waitress was very nice to take it back.

Food was amazing and margs were strong! Chips and salsa were good as well, appreciated getting individual bowls for my salsa!

Under all this mess is beans tamale and an enchilada. Can you see it??

Carter provides excellent service and amazing southern hospitality. We were actually traveling from Charleston to Savannah to Atlanta and stumbled upon this place on the way to Charleston since it's have way. We just so happened to make it to happy hour between 3-6. Food was priced well as well as the drinks. I actually want to say they had better seafood than a few places that we visited from Charleston. Oysters were good, crawfish was a bit smaller, but good. The ambiance was bit on the dive bar side so don't expect much, but what they lack in ambiance, they made up pricing and flavors. I would recommend this place to anyone.

If you've never been there, they will start you out with samples of all of their lemonade (which all of them are incredibly flavorful) and you'll inevitably get one because it's THAT good. The staff comes with recommendations to help you navigate the menu and they are so attentive and helpful. I'd go as far to say that they had some of the best service in Augusta. Now to the food, 10/10 I could not recommend them enough. I've had the honey lemon pepper wings and the loyalty platter. And it was so good. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I've also had a few nibbles of their seafood and ‍. Then when you're ready for dessert, don't worry you get samples too. The blue velvet is my favorite but all of them are award winning so you can't go wrong when it comes to Nattas sweet treats. Over all, great experience, great people, and great place. Get out and support local, it'll never disappoint. P.S. if you think it's pricey, you're wrong. You get what you pay for here. You get no less than two meals out of one plate.

Southern charm, incredible lunch, legendary desserts, and truly wonderful service…read more Boll Weevil is one of those places that feels like you stumbled into something special. From the moment you see the brick building and walk inside, you get this warm, classic Georgia café vibe. It is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It is the kind of place you want to slow down and enjoy. We came in for lunch and everything was outstanding. I had the Curious George, which is turkey topped with spinach dip and provolone cheese on sourdough bread. It was absolutely fantastic. Warm, savory, and perfectly balanced, it felt like true comfort food done right. It also came with a fresh side salad and great dressing that honestly could have been a meal on its own. My boys ordered the chicken quesadilla and nachos, and both were big wins. The quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. The nachos were fully loaded with seasoned beef, black beans, melted cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plus salsa and ranch on the side. The portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. Then came the desserts. We tried chocolate cake, carrot cake, and red velvet cake. We ordered half slices and they were still huge. Every single one was incredible. The red velvet and carrot cake were made with real cream cheese frosting. The carrot cake was rich and moist. The chocolate cake was deeply decadent. Pairing the carrot cake with a cup of their coffee was the perfect finish. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and exactly what you want with dessert. We were also lucky enough to be taken care of by Reagan, who was incredibly kind, beautifully stylish, and so helpful with my boys and me. She gave great recommendations on dishes and portion sizes. Her warmth and attention truly elevated the entire experience. Between the cozy atmosphere, outstanding food, unforgettable desserts, and exceptional service, Boll Weevil is now officially a must stop every time we are in Augusta. Come hungry. She picked up on my husband's "I like to cause a little trouble just because I can" energy within seconds. Without missing a beat she said, "Listen... we're going to put him in time out right there." Another guest nearby started chuckling and I knew right then we were in good hands. Our waitress Kim was just as amazing. I ordered the Lady Killer and let me tell you... it absolutely understood the assignment. Whatever magic was happening in that kitchen... keep doing it. The salad was huge. And the cocktail... round of applause... smooth, balanced, and pretty enough to make you pause before the first sip. All in all... great energy, great service, and food that delivered. The manager walked around inquiring about the service given.
