In case you wondering, they have the beers.

Almost a year later and still going strong! I can't express enough how happy it makes me that they keep the bay door (facing Broad Street) open almost all of the time. That indoor/outdoor space is perfect and makes the place feel even bigger (though it is plenty big enough). Always a fan of the cheese dip with beef added and lately my go-to has been the tacos. Usually my appetite demands a burrito (and beans and rice and...), but their tacos has me hooked. The team here are always top notch and the orders come out at breakneck speed. A much welcomed and needed addition to downtown Augusta!

Fourth time here and the food is always great. Usually I get carne asada tacos but the last two times I've gotten the birria tacos which is an off menu item that you have to ask for. Highly recommend. The wait staff is always great and attentive. I've never encountered a wait to be seated but I have passed by one time and there was a line out the door. The inside is decorated with murals representing Hispanic culture.

Top shelf Mexican food and drinks!!! Just a great place with great service and cool music too! Now most other Mexican restaurants are at the bottom of the barrel.

Ambience. B Service. A Food. A Price. A Today was a little warm in places. The heat factor over 85 degrees-in Augusta just can't get some places cool enough. I just pretended I was in Mexico on a balmy day. Service was friendly and swift. Always get the Michelida with homemade tomato mix and spicy with 6 shrimps. I request modelo beer $16! Also, perfect for me is one ala carte tamale with green sauce. $4 And the chips and salsa are complimentary Also, remind me to always ask for Charro beans soup as my bean substitute. Delicious!!! I'm a FaN!

Dirty and not well maintained restaurant serving up loud canned music, canned salsa and bland lukewarm food. Our visit was punctuated with slow inept service. I had a bad feeling when we approached the restaurant and the decorative brick flowerbed out front was devoid of plants but full of people deterrant spikes and rat poison bait boxes. Sad just sad. There were 6 waitresses standing around chatting and texting in front of us at the station at the front of the restaurant. Several were in the women's restroom doing their hair as well. We didn't see any other customers in the place which should have been a red flag. Charro beans were good. If you have to eat here just get a bowl of those and ask for them to be heated up. Way overpriced small portions and very plain. Just not good food. Will never walk in the place again. I highly suggest you skip this place and go elsewhere.

My grandson recommended getting dinner here. I hadn't been in the building since it was a pizza place. The interior is bright and colorful with vibrant tiles and painted murals. It was a Wednesday evening and it wasn't terribly crowded. We asked the hostess for a low regular table. It took us three tries before we found a table that wasn't wobbly. Once seated our very nice server Sienna was there to take our drink order. She told us draft beer was on special and recommended a Mexican lager when mom's requested Mondela was not available. I ordered a house margarita and i wished Sierra had mentioned that there was a special on small margs during happy hour. She brought us a basket of chips, a small bowl of salsa and a small bowl of bean dip. Both dips were good. Oldest grandson chose shrimp nachos, the younger one got the cheeseburger and mom and I ordered the "nachos locos" to share. We also ordered a tamale, a chili relleno, and a cheese dip. All the food tasted fine but I thought the portions were on the small side given what they were charging. The tamale was one of the best I have ever had. The chili relleno could have been crispier but the flavors were there. The total bill was $98 before a tip.

I am always down for Mexican food. Great selection, even on the lunch menu. I don't know if it was happy hour since it was lunchtime, but the beer is very inexpensive. And cold! Pretty cool atmosphere in and out, we sat outside. The taco salad was good, (average)...my friend had fish tacos, and they looked delicious! Diana was wonderful, service was excellent! I'd go again!

This is my second time here. Both times, the food has been good. I will say, the service is a little slow. But nothing that can't improved upon. I'm happy to see that this place is still open in Downtown Augusta. My only complaint (if that's what you call it), would be to have Agua Fresca in store. The menu says that you have some. Even though when I ask what kind you have, the waiter/waitress says we don't have any. I would recommend either you get some or take it off the menu. Being from Vegas where we have all kinds of Mexican places to eat, this place fills the void if your craving Mexican.

Downtown Augusta has new eatery on the block. Walking in,I was greeted by smiling faces. The place is very colorful with a small area outside for seating. I was pleased to see a vegetarian section on the menu, from which I chose the spinach and mushroom quesadillas. I also had the table side guacamole . My drink was frozen mango and watermelon margarita and they serve chips with black bean and regular salsa. Everything was very tasty my server checked on me often and someone came by to ask how was everything. I enjoyed my food, service and drink.

Our group had a great experience at El Paso. The service was great, the food is delicious and the bartender knows their way around a margarita. We'll be back and next time we bring more friends.

Good vibes here for sure. I got a well tequila shot, Mexican mule, and the shredded chicken chimichanga for $30. I was disappointed in the portion size of the chimichanga. It was $13 and it was a pretty small burrito. Definitely not what I was expecting. The drinks were okay. Not very strong but tasted good. Salsa was made with care to not be spiced at all. Our server was amazing. I don't remember her name but she was super down to earth and attentive.

First time here. Seated at a booth in the foyer! Aluminum foil on the floor and chips all in the booth. Opened the menus to choose the food and both mine and my wife's menu were sticky and had food residue on them which was now on our hands. Waitress was a little slow with drink top ups. The prices are top end Mexican prices so we did not expect the above for the price we paid. Ordered the fried fish which was excellent. It was really yummy which really saved this review. Would we go again - maybe !

Food was delicious!!!! Wait staff was great. The jalapeno margarita was way too hot for me. But it had a good flavor. I would definitely revisit!

The menu is a thoughtful fusion--think jalapeño cornbread salad and impeccably fresh ingredients that shine in every dish. We sat at the bar and received excellent service--our bartender was attentive, with spot-on food and drink recommendations. Their house-infused spirits and handcrafted mixers made for refreshing, balanced cocktails. We tried a wide selection, and the pork chop was the favorite--smoky, juicy, and bold. Venison followed closely behind, rich and perfectly cooked. Scallops were a bit fishy but beautifully plated. The eggplant fries and mussels app combo was unexpectedly delightful--sweet, savory, spicy... fire. And dessert? The chocolate mousse cake with a shot of espresso martini wrapped up the meal on a luxurious note. If you're looking for refined Southern fare with an inventive edge, Frog Hollow delivers.
