Came here for lunch with friends after church since it was right down the street. It wasn't as busy as I had expected, were sat immediately, were able to get drinks right away, and order in a timely manner. Food didn't take long either! And for the portion size you get, price isn't bad either. Food was flavorful and fresh! This little hole in the wall joint pack an amazing punch. I've been coming here for years and they just keep coming back. Over the last decade + they have had a few bad days, but for every one of those they have had amazing months. I hate that the construction has them more or less blocked off. Today I ventured out to El Teresa's. The food was pretty decent. I got the Arroz Con Pollo Texas style which has shrimp, chicken and steak. Good portion sizes and really fills you up. Plenty of servers constantly checking in on you so you feel welcomed and appreciated. All smiling faces and friendly. Authentic Mexican food is my weakness and normally they are amazing but my sister got the wrong thing brought out the first time she ordered and it wasn't fully cooked. I guess it's normally a hit but tonight it was more of a miss. The place itself is cute and quaint. Plenty of tvs to watch movies or games and lots of hand painted murals all over the walls. I love the feel and authenticity of this place. I will be back but tonight wasn't the best. read more

A solid choice with excellent service. We dined outside on the covered dog friendly patio. Extensive menu, decent food and great service. I would absolutely return. So I did return 5/24. Once again, excellent service and the quesadilla Chihuahua was so good! We also ordered the Fiesta dip. It was loaded with chorizo and super cheesy. Completed with tortillas & pico de gallo. Went with some friends and had a pretty good experience. There was a bit of a mix up with part of our orders but everything worked out in the end. Tried the street tacos...you get to pick 3. I ordered lengua (usually pretty legit when they have lengua) asada and al pastor but I think I got a chicken one instead of al pastor. Surprisingly the chicken one wasn't bad. Chicken was juicy. Each taco was filled with a lot of meat. Price for all 3 was $7.50 was quite a steal since some places sell 1 taco for that price. I also got a Texas marg (small) that was good too. They kept the chips coming and the chips were nice and warm. Salsa wasn't anything special but would recommend the cheese dip. read more

Two for dinner on a Saturday evening. My plate and food were room temperature which should have been a warning sign. A beef chimichanga, rice, beans and salad. Hot food was not hot, cold food was not cold. The food tasted okay but within an hour of getting home I became ill. Stomach in knots and diarrhea. I can only surmise my reaction was due to spoilage of the food from not being prepared properly or served hot. I will not be returning. read more

Food is always great and the Texas margaritas are excellent. All of the wait staff and owners are always on spot.

Cozy spot with American/Mexican food. They do have a few authentic dishes. The staff is always friendly and the booths are very cozy.

Heard some good things about this restaurant and wanted to try it out! We were seated right away and they brought out the chips and salsa before we even sat down. The salsa was very watered down and the guacamole was not good at all. The cheese dip was pretty good, but our's came out just warm so we sent it back to be heated. The frozen margaritas were solid. My wife and I split the Texas fajitas for 2 and it was great. All of the staff there was very nice and happy to help. The staff is the best part of Teresa's. If they improved their salsa, guac, and queso it would be a great mexican spot. read more

We eat here pretty regularly. Came in on Easter Sunday, dinner time. If they had been closed I would not have been mad. Our server certainly did not want to be there. Occasionally I will have a margarita with my dinner, maybe two. Tonight I had three glasses of margarita mix. When our server brought the third she snapped, "we will be closing soon by the way". I have been eating at Teresa's since I was young. I have also eaten at other establishments owned by Wally and have had no issues but the food is absolutely disgusting. The beef in my taco was unseasoned and mushy, the tortillas stale and obviously pulled right out of a bag without so much as even toasting them. My chili relleno was completely inedible, it tasted like dirt with canned ravioli sauce. Our host was very nice but our server was rude. My husbands meal was not great but at least it was edible. Just skip it and go to Monterray or Mi Rancho instead. read more
