The first time I went here was with Yelp and I was wanting Mexican one afternoon so me and a friend met up here. I ended up sitting at the bar and ordered a mangonada, I didn't know it would be a frozen drink, but it was really good. I ordered birria tacos and Mexican street corn and my friend ordered Texas rice. Everything was hot and my tacos were soo good that I had to close my eyes to enjoy the goodness. They are by for in my top 3 of good Mexican restaurants in the csra

Service is wonderful. Food was delicious reminded me of home . Nyc street vendors. So flavorful and the drinks are amazing....if your a light weighte one will do. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Truly a nice spot to chill on a Saturday afternoon evening and enjoy whatever game ia playing, music or whomever you are with.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

Immediately was greeted by smiling and welcoming faces on walking in. Restaurant was overall clean and a good vibe with good music! I had a cantaritos to drink and it was delicious! My dad had a margarita and it was as big as my head! Ordered the fajitas for dinner and they were good just lacking on flavor. However that doesn't mean I won't be returning to try more! Overall great first experience and excited to return.

Lokos Taco-Boy Scout Road Augusta, GA Food: We had the Street Tacos with steak, cheese and onions also, Texas Rice with steak, chicken and shrimp. Service: Great service! Ambiance: I simply enjoyed the spacious dining area and patio seating. Upon entering you cross over a little stream and waterfall... how cool!

How do you improve on perfection? Delicious food, cocktails with a heavy pour, friendly service that rivals family meals for the holidays. One word, space. And lots of it! But let me focus on location a moment. You may not frequent Boy Scout Road. Honestly, you may have never driven it while in Augusta. Here's what you need to know, this Lokos Tacos is literally 2 minutes off Washington Road (as you near 1-20). And the nice thing about that is the absence of all the traffic noise. So I arrived, making sure I had my appetite in two. You don't come here to "snack" because the portions for any menu item is meal worthy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside space has room for a 100+ folks, not including the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you have a large group with a large appetite, this is where you need to go. But I like al fresco and again, this is the improvement upon perfection. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A massive deck (three levels) with table seating, a outdoor taco bar, and a gazebo converted into a bar (aka, 360 bar!).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The middle level is covered (the other tables have umbrellas) and has ceiling fans so even on those warm evenings you can enjoy the outdoors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I am a fan of the entire menu, but my first trip to this location I went with the carne asada which is served with grilled cactus, cambray onions, panela cheese, jalapeño toreado, and of course rice, beans, and tortillas. The sizzle of cast iron plate brought a beautiful aroma to my nostrils as the team member approach. I honestly could not chew fast enough. This was a work of art. Make a point to stop in today (and tomorrow). And if you can't stay, call ahead and have your order ready for pickup!

This place was exactly what I wanted! The queso is fantastic and when you walk in, they give you complimentary Mexican noodle soup which was very good also. The tacos were so good! So much flavor and just the right size. I love that you can order as many tacos as you want and you can mix and match meat; meaning you can in fact have your cake and eat it too which we all know I like. Highly recommend!

I have been wanting to try the new location but hadn't until late one Thursday night. Despite walking in at 9:10pm, the staff was friendly and attentive. I was quickly helped with my drink order, a house margarita, which was very tasty and plenty big. Next came the chips and salsa. This was the only down part of the visit. The salsa was fresh and tasty. For those of you afraid of the heat, don't worry! The chips; however, had a bit of a burnt flavor. I wonder if they were fried in old oil. I didn't let it detract from my dinner though. I ordered two tacos and a side of refried beans. The tacos came with so much meat that I had to eat them with a fork...awesome! The pastor was juicy and delicious. The campechana is one I'll be back for. The combination of steak and chorizo is excellent. They are served with two types of taco sauce. The green is very mild and fresh. The red is a little smoky and has a nice amount of spice. I added some of both but more of the red. I'm excited to visit again when it's more lively. I've heard they boast mariachi. The TV situation is excellent and the bar is a perfect place to enjoy a meal, a drink, and lively conversation.

Tried Lokos Tacos new locations on Boys Scout road on a Tuesday night. Got there around 5:45. They weren't super busy from what I could tell. They had a large parking lot and lots of seating and they have a large outdoor patio. I enjoyed the tacos and the chips were fresh. The magarita was huge (bigger than my head). Looking forward to coming back

The service & ambiance was great. The food was also pretty good but my two complaints are. 1. They don't devein shrimp the shrimp. 2. All the tortillas were dipped in something, which made it overly salty.

My husband and I had a great experience at this new location. The inside remodel is wonderful and I'm glad to see it back in business. Great food, clean and great service! You need to give these guys a try!

I am an avid food lover, and I photograph just about every beautiful dish placed in front of me. But Cork & Flame was different. From the moment we walked through the doors, the experience was so exceptional and immersive that, for once, I simply forgot about the camera. I was too busy being present and enjoying every moment. We were immediately greeted by smiling hostesses who congratulated us on our anniversary. While we waited to be seated, we were presented with two beautiful flutes of champagne,- a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for what was to come. We were also presented with the most thoughtful Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff. Once seated, we were welcomed by an incredible team, but our waitress was truly in a class of her own. I have never encountered service quite like hers. Her knowledge of the menu was exceptional, and every detail of the evening felt intentional. The way she guided us through our selections and thoughtfully presented each course made something as simple as ordering dinner feel like part of a carefully choreographed work of art. We began with an amuse-bouche, and even the experience surrounding it was remarkable. Before enjoying it, we were presented with the most thoughtfully prepared Japanese hand wipes, delicately infused with yuzu and hydrated right before us in the most discreet and elegant fashion. It was such a small detail, but one we never knew we needed until we experienced it. It was the kind of thoughtful touch that made the entire evening feel so carefully considered. Then came the beef and onion empanadas, and they were absolutely out of this world, beautifully prepared and exploding with layers of exciting flavor. Alongside them came a beautiful board of crunchy, delicious bread paired with the lightest, fluffiest butter I have ever experienced. The butter itself was infused with a subtle smoky flavor and was unlike anything I have ever tasted. Somehow, even something as simple as bread and butter felt completely elevated and memorable. For our entrées, we were once again completely blown away. My husband had the lobster gnocchi, bursting with incredible flavors of lobster and chorizo, perfectly balanced and beautifully finished. My entrée was the chef's special by ,Chef Gaston, a breathtaking rosemary infused skirt steak served with whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. It arrived beneath a beautiful dome that preserved the aromatic smoke until it was lifted tableside in front of me. It wasn't simply dinner; it was a presentation, an aroma, a moment, and an experience all at once. And then came dessert, which somehow managed to continue the perfection of the evening. My husband enjoyed an incredibly decadent yet surprisingly light dessert accompanied by an assortment of unforgettable dips, including a pineapple dip unlike anything we had ever experienced. I opted for a refreshing and beautifully light Limoncello tiramisu, and once again, every element was executed flawlessly. From the food to the presentation, the service to the smallest details, everything was truly top tier. There was such a level of care and intention behind everything we experienced that it made the entire evening feel incredibly special. It wasn't just a meal--it was an experience thoughtfully designed from beginning to end. Cork & Flame doesn't simply serve a meal--it creates an experience. It feels like stepping into another world, almost like taking a culinary journey without ever leaving your table. Every course tells a story, every detail has a purpose, and every member of the staff seems genuinely invested in making your experience extraordinary. I would recommend Cork & Flame a million times over--not just for the food, but for the entire experience. If you appreciate culinary artistry, exceptional service, thoughtful details, and a restaurant that genuinely cares about creating a memorable evening, this is somewhere you absolutely need to experience. And honestly, the fact that I have no pictures to show you might be the greatest compliment I can give. For once, I didn't need my camera. I just needed to be present for one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had.
