My daughter wanted to go to Brinks Tavern for her birthday. The atmosphere was great! We loved all the screens with different types of sports playing, and the music that was playing was awesome!! I ordered the million dollar bacon with deviled eggs. The bacon was good, but eggs lacked seasoning. I also ordered the platter with chicken strips, shrimp, French Fries, and hushpuppies, and all of it was delicious, especially the fries. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. The only negative is the food and their alcoholic drinks are way over priced!

If you don't have a reservation be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes. We sat at the bar which was perfect for 2. The drinks are absolutely amazing. We alway at the bar and the bartender was absolutely amazing. He knew exactly what I should order. We placed our orders and watched all of the great TVs in the establishment. It's a great place to watch the games and the serves and hostesses are fabulous. It's a little loud but that's to be expected. The dress is casual. The food came out quickly and was still hot. The crab hush puppies were absolutely amazing and the jumbo shrimp were seasoned to perfection. I will come again.

Not a bad place by any means, the inside is nice. 3 Stars is being generous. 2 1/2 maybe. The food is a little fancier than the establishment itself. The brick wall between the front door and the bar is pretty cool, makes for a nice barrier. This was my second visit. Probably my last. A little on the pricey side. I can't get behind a $25 burger. Or a $7 Blue Moon (bottle), when a six pack is only $10 in the store. I mean, they already have Brinkley's Chop House for the rich people, they could make this one a smidge more affordable for the average person. $50 for two people for lunch is a bit ridiculous. A little disappointing. It's definitely not a place to go sit at the bar and watch a game... You'll go broke! Roast Beef Po Boy was good, but the bread was extremely hard. I had a couple bites and waited to eat the rest at home so I could put it in the micro to soften the bread. I had the Chef's Platter second visit, hush puppies had really good flavor, but a little undercooked. Although that dish came with shrimp, I was charged extra for cocktail sauce. That's crazy. The service was OK, a little slow when you're waiting to pay your bill. That's a little frustrating when you're ready to go. Overall, I'd go somewhere else.

Servers are attentive, food comes out fast and fresh and the outdoor seating has nice views.

We sat outside. There were fans to assist with the South Carolina heat. TVs in case you wanted to catch a game with friends. And corn hole in case you needed something to do while waiting on your food! We enjoyed the food overall. Fries were thick (usually a thin fry girl, myself) but still pleasant! I LOVE cornbread and I'd happily put on 20 lbs for a good one, but this one made me lose some weight. Not my favorite iteration of the southern classic. Gritty and lacking that usual flavor. Shrimp and sauce on the sammy were good but there was too! Much! Bread! As for my catch all meal -- chicken tenders and shrimp were a delight. Hush puppies: not too shabby. We'd come back again!

Went during lunch and service was fast! The ambiance was very nice. Leather seats were fancy. The food was very good!

I came here after seeing they're pretty new, for gameday, and hearing mixed reviews. I asked to be sat by the big screen to watch the game, but like any tavern they have tvs all over and outside. They also have outdoor seating, which is a plus, but also be aware of the very limited parking spots. You might want to park a bit further and walk here. We were sat immediately, ordered drinks, and for food we got the single crab cake with collared greens and the endito poutine (seafood loaded fries rather than actual poutine). Prices are a bit high, but it is a seafood tavern. I liked the flavors of the food, so I do highly recommend something off the menu that's seafood. Their sandwiches also do look good! Service is good, and will take care of you if you decide to stay for an entire game. The vibes are pretty chill, but a lot of people do come here to watch the game so think of it as a chill watch party (unless you come at night maybe...?). Overall, I'd recommend!!!!

1LB crab legs. The garlic butter sauce was amazing.

Took my mom out to eat on a Thursday. Service was great. We enjoyed our food. The lighting is a little dim but light on your phone helps.

If you're looking for a place in North Augusta to question your life choices over bacon from a paper clip and sassy cocktails, Brinks Tavern is it. Walked in for dinner with the girls (just three of us this time, so only slightly less chaos) and left with a new appreciation for good service, strong drinks, and the subtle art of Gypsey Dining. Not sure what that evens means but apparently there are gypsy sightings this side of town. Mallory, our waitress, deserves a medal. She handled our table like it was an Olympic sport, even as we loudly debated the existence or "lack of" soulmates over boudin balls. Five stars just for her patience. Kristen (with an EN) was everywhere at once. I'm convinced she's cloned herself. Need a refill? Kristen. More ranch? Kristen. Existential advice? Kristen, probably. The drinks were so good that even the one made wrong was still amazing. I have no idea what it was supposed to be, but it tasted like "yes, I will have another." Honestly, I'd trust these bartenders to mix my coffee in the morning. Especially the darked hair handsome male: back to referencing the lack of a soulmate and too many cocktails The vibe is "classy tavern meets your favorite college bar, but with less regret and way more repsonsibilty." The food came out hot, the staff treated us like queens, and nobody judged us (at least that I could see) Highly recommend for your next girls' night, awkward first date, or solo mission to drink something neon.

I was greeted after standing there for a min by Shulindra, she was kind, gave me some recommendations. I went with the Cajun Turkey BLT which came with fries. I wanted the green apple lemonade but they only had the blueberry and it was alright, basically Kool aid imo. They were out of a few things actually but that BLT wasn't anything to write home about. I honestly thought it was going to be a turkey bacon LT, not a BLT with turkey slices so I was a bit disappointed. The lettuce and tomato were really fresh but there was nothing Cajun about it. I ate every bite for the $16 I paid for it! The fries were pretty dry, similar to Popeyes.. I guess I'd go back to try other items.

They have a valet system, so no worries about parking. Staff have been very professional and friendly, so 5/5 stars for that. I ordered the 8oz filet mignon, medium rare. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly! It came with asparagus and mashed potatoes covered in a crispy layer of batter, which all complimented the steak well. I tried their tuna tartare, which had an interesting take on what the tuna was served on. I've always been used to tuna tartare being accommodated with bread, but this was sushi rice compacted and covered in some light batter. Felt like I was eating tuna sushi. Apply some of the sauces it comes with and seriously was fantastic. I also got to try 4oz of their Japanese A5 Wagyu. Super expensive; $80 dollars for four ounces, but worth the experience. You cook the thin pieces over a hot stone and apply some of the seasonings like salt it comes with. I cooked each side for about 30 seconds, sprinkled some salt, and it melted in my mouth! I ended my meal with their carrot cake and it was moist, not overly sweet, and had a great savory taste. I really enjoyed my time here and certainly will be back again. There is a bar and at the back of the restaurant, you can see the baseball field. Restrooms were clean, but only one stall from what I've seen in the men's room. Overall 5/5 steak house experience.

Between the playground right next door, open outdoor seating, and nearby walking trails, it seemed like the perfect road trip pitstop for our stir-crazy kids (and parents). Bonus: we saw they had drinks and a promising-looking menu. Total win, right? Unfortunately, we rolled in an hour before opening--my fault for not checking the hours. That would've been a disaster since my 4-year-old and I were both doing the "I need to pee" dance, but thankfully, the kind kitchen staff let us in to use the restroom while they prepped. We decided to hang around and wait for them to open, and honestly, the outdoor space made it easy to kill an hour. The kids ran around, we played on the playground, and when a sudden downpour rolled in, we took cover under their patio and even got to play a round of giant Connect 4. By the time 4:00 rolled around, we were wet, hungry, and ready to eat. And then it got awkward. We rushed inside excitedly... only to be met with a trio of staff who looked just as confused by us as we were by the vibe. No one greeted us, no host stand, just a blank stare until someone finally said we could sit anywhere. So we awkwardly claimed a table and tried to shake off the weird energy. Our server came over soon after, and we placed our order. I got the drink special--a gin Paloma--which was fine, nothing remarkable. We started with fried pickles (solid but unmemorable), and then moved on to our mains: cheese pitas for the girls, hot honey chicken sliders with sweet potato fries for me, and fish and chips for my husband. Sadly, things went downhill from there. My chicken sliders were just basic chicken tenders on toasted buns. The goat cheese added a little something, but the hot honey was nowhere to be found. The sweet potato fries were floppy and undercooked. The girls' cheese pita was... well, exactly what the menu said: pita with melted cheese. But it somehow still felt a little sad. The worst offender? The fish and chips. The fish was soggy, and the breading slid off like it was trying to escape the plate. The potato wedges were also undercooked. My husband ended up sending it back and opting for the warm chocolate brownie instead. The brownie was better than the fish--barely--but it was clearly just a microwaved store-bought dessert with a drizzle of syrup. In the end, the best part of our visit wasn't the food--it was the playground, the covered patio, and the generosity of the kitchen staff who let us in before opening. We were grateful for the rest stop, but the restaurant itself fell way short of expectations. for the family-friendly location and outdoor amenities for the kind kitchen staff and covered patio with games Points off for food quality (main dishes and dessert mostly disappointing) for the awkward service vibe at opening for lack of value and underwhelming execution If they improved food execution and tightened up the front-of-house experience, this place could easily be a 4-star gem for families on the go. As it stands, it's a pretty setting with subpar substance.
