Previously my review was that the restaurant was a small establishment with about 4-6 indoor seats and about the same outdoor. Great location downtown. I did state the the customer service was hit or miss but mostly miss. The food is great however establishment is usually not clean(floors etc and has a weird smell) and the establishment could use pest control. I did however go back to the establishment today and the restaurant was much cleaner and the customer service was much better from the person who took my order to the person who address my concerns about my order. My food was not prepared to their usual standards and the issue was resolved. I have had the black eye sandwich which is a chicken Philly and fries. Both are usually delicious. My mom has had the Thai chili wings which she enjoyed. Their drinks are canned and bottled so be prepared to spend around $2-$3 per drink. Great eats. I'd definitely eat here again. This is exactly the kind of place we look for when we visit a new city. This is a "whole-in-the-wall" no frills joint with amazing food. I ordered the Blackeye chicken sandwich and it was perfect, with soft bread, plenty of cheese, juicy chicken seasoned just right. The sauce they gave me to dip it in was reminiscent of the sauce that one of my favorite Japanese steak houses used to serve. My wife had the veggie sub, and she loved it as well. My daughter had their burger, and we all had sides of fries. No complaints from any of us. We will definitely return, if ever in the area. read more

They have a cute hole in the wall vibe with a cashier counter that you order from and pick up your sandwich to enjoy yourself. It's mostly self service for food and beverage. The price is ~$10-$18 for a meal that is satisfying and delicious. Trust me on the fries. The sandwiches are on a white mini sub like bread that is fluffy and way better than chains like panera or subway. These sandwiches are HUGE and delicious! I ordered the Philly sandwich. And it was SO GOOD! My husband ordered the one with jalapeño's and it was also very good. They have a unique seasoning on the fries but they are good. I rubbed off some of the seasoning but that's just my preference. They have some really cool artwork/ displays in the restaurant and it's boxing themed which is pretty cool. I'm from Philly so seeing a Rocky themed restaurant was fun! A tiny little spot with seating for 10 inside with a few tables outside also. We enjoyed the Black Eye Chicken and the Uppercut Cheesesteak, which we could not finish. We've been here a few times and they never disappoint! The sandwiches are huge and the fries are delicious. It's a small hole-in-the-wall with a whole five tables, but it's worth it if you have to stand or eat outside! The fries are the only reason I'm giving this 2 stars. Not at all impressed with the staff or the food. I got the Philly sandwich and it tasted like a bottle of Worcestershire sauce - disgusting. The guy at the counter seemed annoyed that people were there. And above all, I HATE when restaurant employees act like they deserve tips for standing there and taking orders. Overall pretty solid sandwiches. The place is recessed on Broad near Garden City and slightly hard to find but has a nice outdoor seating area. Very cool menu with a few options that looked really good. I tried the Knuckle Sandwich. High price for the amount of food ($16 after tax), but the quality of meat was really good. Delicious sandwiches, locally run, hole in the wall. Every sandwich is delicious and the fries just need to pull back on the salt. First, the place is small so it is hard to find but it's nice that they have tables on the outside. Thankfully when I came it was sunny The customer service was nice and very professional. She brought the food to me and even answered all questions I needed. I honestly would rate this place a 4.5 because the cake and fries were delicious! I came here after one of my friends in town recommended this place. They did warn me about the limited vegetarian options so I was well aware of my options. The part I didn't like was their lack of accommodation -- for example, I asked them to make the grilled cheese similar to the Jalapeño Melt and they said no. Similarly, I asked for my partner's fries to be separate from the meat, they said no. Then I asked for a box of fries, still "no". I just made me feel unwelcome which I didn't sit right with me. Food-wise, my partner ordered the Jalapeño melt for $14 and he thought it was 4/5. He thought it was good and would come back but mainly to try their chicken options. The jalapeño melt is not spicy but the steak is definitely juicy and greasy (in a good way). The fries were sprinkled with freshly ground pepper and sea salt -- nothing crazy, just your typical fries. Overall, a decent experience food wise. read more

I got the "Swiss & mushroom grilled cheese", which has, marinated grilled baby bella mushrooms and melty Swiss on a toasted hoagie, served with fries and a side of Thai chili ranch for $10. First and fore most... THE FRIES!!!! these were some of the best fries I have ever had, no seriously. Perfectly crispy on the outside, nice potato filling on the inside with great seasoning! The grilled cheese was okay, the mushrooms were great but to me the Swiss cheese tasted more like white American cheese. The staff was also so kind and helpful, I told them it was my first time and they were so accommodating and eager to please! I recommend giving Knuckle Sandwiches a try! I have been wanting to go to this place for a few months and finally was able to.......And today was the day. Had this sandwich called the Knuckle Sandwich....just like the name of the restaurant. If you have a sandwich that has the name of the place, it sure better have something special to it. You definitely must walk up to the counter to order before being seated. As the cashier took our order, she definitely said, that is a great sandwich. And I replied with, "I hope so because it's my first time at this place." Maaaaaaan, when I say that it didn't take but 5-7mins to get our food, I'm not kidding. We hit the end of lunch rush so it was expected to get a little slow. Apparently it doesn't! Fast service. Great attitude with the staff that worked inside. And when I got my sandwich, I couldn't get my eyes to stop staring. This sandwich had a luscious pulled pork that was on top of a blacked fish, which was paired with 2 slices of bacon and gooey mozzarella cheese. The fries were so crunchy that even the small ones were still at its taste until I devoured the plate. This sandwich comes with two sauces as well, one that was like a chipotle peppercorn ranch and the other with a mixture of marinara and BBQ sauce in it. Both were runny but delicious to dip your sandwich or fries with. Very small place but completely packed with goodness. If you come with a party of 10, you would fill up every seat inside the restaurant but there are 2 more tables outside that you may sit at as well. Inside had a very oldie but homie vibe to the surrounding. They play music but it is soft and not overbearing to listen to. Nice to sit and listen to something besides the chomping of mouths eating the scrumptious food Either way, great place to sit or grab and go. They accept Apple Pay and orders online.
