I'm sorry to write that I had a very disappointing experience at Farmhaus Burger today. The plan was to visit Farmhaus Burger with a friend for burgers and a few beers on a non-descript Tuesday afternoon. Before visiting I checked the website to see when Happy Hour was and it was clearly advertised as being from 3-6PM (the pic should be attach as part of my review). Because you know, as a customer you want to know what the policies are and plan accordingly. So we plan to land there around the 3:30ish time frame. So, sure enough we end up there right around 3:30PM. We get in line and get our burgers ordered, I ask about Happy Hour and I'm told that it starts at 4PM. OK, that's odd, b/c the website clearly said differently. But no big deal. Because I'll get seated, pull up the website, show them what is clearly being advertised and they will honor it, right? Wrong. Allow me to elaborate. I get seated at the bar and I talk to the bartender (the other guy who told me about Happy Hour was working the cashier so maybe he wasn't in the loop). I bring up the website and show him that Happy Hour is clearly advertised as being from 3-6PM (on the front page no less). I am told that this is an "old picture" but offers to talk to a manager. He comes back and tells me they are "in the process of changing". I'm not really sure what that means, but OK. So, I make a suggestion. The current time was 3:39PM and I asked if he could serve me a beer, and then ring it in at 4:00PM. That way, they get to honor what was advertised and drew me into restaurant, I get my beer, and they have time to change whatever needs changing. It's a win-win situation. This was also a no go. At this point I'm legitimately baffled at their poor customer service. I don't make a scene. I don't ask to speak to the manager. We simply eat our food and go. Heck, I was treated better at Target when I was returning a printer earlier in the day. Long story short, I will not be returning and they will not be getting any more of my money. I'm not sure what else is incorrect on their website. But good luck if you decide to visit.
Had an excellent turkey burger with Gouda and avocado. It was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The ranch was delicious. My only complaint was the service at the bar was slow. They seemed more interested in chatting with their friends at the bar, but food was good.
Farmhaus is exactly what you think they are; a good burger joint. It has a nice ambiance with inside seating, a bar and outside seating for larger parties. Instead of wait staff coming to each table, you order your food at a counter and they bring it to your table. I loved the option to make your own burger and I took full advantage by making one to my liking. The drink was good and the burger was fresh, juicy, and delicious. The fries were a bit salty for my taste but it was an overall pleasant dining experience.
The only thing stopping me from calling this fast food is the fact that the food wasn't fast. Granted most fast foods don't use metal utensils or bring you the food, but no sit down restaurant makes you order standing in a queue (noting buffets are really a different class) or organize your dishes after you've eaten. And while the main vibe is sit down restaurant, the massive "TRASH" and order here signs thoroughly break any immersion the atmosphere pretends. The food was good, mind you, but tainted by the rest of this distracting me from it.
Went for lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday and wanted to grab something quick before her birthday massage. Food came out quick, as you order at the register and are given a ticket. You choose your own seating and wait for someone to bring it out. You can choose to sit inside or out, or sit at the full service bar. The burgers are fresh, juicy and customizable. Definitely the place to go for an elevated burger and fries experience but still want a relaxed vibe.
The Farm always comes through. Can't decide where to go for a meal? Any meal? Yes, even breakfast (order the Farmstyle). They have you covered. Though I have visited frequently since my last review, I will highlight the speciality burgers. This, and the speciality milkshakes, will always keep you coming back. Even if you run the gamut of burgers (including the Build Your Burger), hotdogs, salads, grilled cheese sandwiches, wings, and sides, you will still have a "new" burger waiting for you every one-two months. Recently it was the French Onion burger. Half a pound of angus, crispy fried onions, Swiss cheese, grilled onions, French Onion mayo, on a toasted onion roll! Oh and did I mention it comes with a side of au jus sauce?! Yeah, see what I'm talking about. And then I topped it off with the strawberry milkshake, with the graham cracker mixed in. I'll be back. Again. And Again. And again.
For a fancier burger in Augusta this would be the spot. I went with the Bacon and Blue burger and it was great. Service was excellent, you order at the register, your food is brought out to you and your tray is picked up after your meal. Ambiance reminds me somewhat of a BBQ spot, like old style American. Enough seating for a work luncheon or gathering, and very clean. Presentation is on point along with the taste. Great quality at a good price for a more elevated burger.
The original Farmhaus is in Augusta's suburbia, but it was a larger and nicer building than I expected. The reason I had a better time at this one is largely because I customized my sea island red pea burger. Don't get me wrong; the default option wasn't bad, but adding a mix of toppings at very reasonable prices was a good decision, particularly some jalapenos to kick things up a notch. With a variety of topping options, several at no extra charge, different buns or the option to get a burger over greens, you can really get what you want. Their online ordering system even labeled which of the topping options had dairy or egg in them. I added a seasonal caramel apple shake, which was about as delicious as it sounds. For a compatibilist like me who is a vegetarian but will eat at places that clearly weren't built for me, they do about as good a job as I could hope for: a distinctive, local option with lots of choices that ensure that almost anyone can find a meal here regardless of their stance on animal products, carbs, or whatever else. I would like them to kick up the salads a notch and offer some seasonal variety there as well, but what they're doing now is working.
This was a cute restaurant with lots of good burger options and a full bar. You order at a counter, take a number and then find a table. It wasn't too busy around 7:30pm on a Friday night, we easily found seating. It did take a while for the food to be delivered (maybe a normal sit down restaurant amount of time) but not too bothersome. I ordered the New Mexico Burger, which has green chiles and pepper jack cheese. It was very tasty. Had a hint of spice, but not too much. French fries were good. I ordered the creamy feta sauce, but it wasn't really my thing. Tasted like cottage cheese with salt and pepper. My sister ordered the grilled cheese and liked it, although, she said she wished it was on bread, instead of an upside down bun. She also ordered the sweet potato tots, which were like fried mashed potato balls, so not actually tot-like. She wasn't a fan - the texture was too weird. My mom ordered a bacon cheese burger and also enjoyed it. Overall, a good place to get a burger, wasn't overwhelmingly expensive.

Was in town visiting my son, he suggested this place. Not too busy. We were greeted right away and the lady at the register helped us out and explained the menu. Gave us a number and they would bring out the food. Husband got the Haus burger with fries. He said it was good but the mustard was just a little too much for him but still good. I ordered the BYO burger. A double with cheddar and lettuce and pickle with Dukes mayo. My hamburger patty was like a smash burger nice and juicy. The bun was so fresh. We also ordered some chili cheese fries. Chili had a nice flavor also. Overall a good experience. read more

We really like the food and service at Farmhaus Burger. The Farmhaus burgers with thick onions and Gouda were very juicy and hit the spot! Our favorite side was the fries. They were supposed to be cooked separately and gluten free. The farmhouse ambiance was really special and home-like. I love the rustic corrugated metal used as bathroom stall and galvanized pipe toilet paper holders. read more

I have been to the farmhaus in Augusta and if you like that one you will like this one too! The food is so good (ratings below on what we ordered). The employees are all very nice and all helpful. They are also are very knowledgeable about the food and drink items if you have questions. You wait in line to order food (or sit at the bar for full service) and then you get a number to take to your table. They have indoor booth and table options along with covered outdoor seating. The restaurant looks very well maintained and clean. Samoa boozy milk shake : 10/10 , has cookies blended inside and one on top Bourbon Carmel boozy milkshake : 10/10 delicious and goes down very easy! #5 bacon and blue cheese burger: 10/10 the bacon is nice and thick, delicious combo #6 the farm style burger : 9/10 you can choice how you would like your egg cooked ! #7 chili cheese burger : 10/10 the chili , onion ring, jalapeños and pepper Jack cheese is a great combination French fries: 8/10 if you like five guy fries you'll like these. They are fried in peanut oil, or at least taste like it Sweet potato tots: 5/10 they are good but are more of a dessert in my opinion, they are mashed sweet potato deep fried so they are big and come with a cinnamon sauce that is very good Fried pickles : 9/10 definitely very good and come with a white sauce that has a little kick Onion rings : 7/10 beer battered and very good We will definitely go back! read more

Definitely the best burger place in Augusta! Hands down. Come here quite often for my burger fix. Order their new sandwich (Cuban-RITA). Very great and delicious. An order & sit down kind of restaurant. Great thing I like about this place is that they ask you how you like your burger cooked. They have beer, wine, and spiked floats that is very good. The vibe in this location (Wrightsboro Rd) is always welcoming. During times of the day, it is busy which speaks volume that this place is great to eat at. Give this place a try. read more
I came into town to visit a friend for her birthday and I was starving so I made a stop here to eat. We weren't eating for about 5-6 hours yet, and I was famished. I'm obsessed with the New Mexico burger and I love the pickles. I also got a nanas pudding boozy milkshake. Something I didn't notice before, they have full service at the bar. So if you don't want to wait in the line and you're just by yourself, I recommend the bar! read more
Despite living in Augusta for the past almost 4 years, I am late to the FarmHaus trend! Now I can officially say I was missing out! Never have I tried an egg on a burger but this place made it delicious! Bacon, egg, and cheese on the double patty was absolutely delicious! Now I'm not a huge milkshake gal either, but this changed my mind! I absolutely loved the seasonal snickerdoodle milkshake! Not to mention the alcohol was not overpowering, perfect balance! Absolutely will be going back, determined to try the rest of the boozy milkshake & burger combos now! read more

Let just say, this is hands down the most delicious burger I have ever had at a restaurant before. The service was great. The atmosphere was as expected at a restaurant, light chatter. The only thing I would recommend is more salt for the sweet potato tater tots and maybe a different recipe only because they taste more like hush puppies. read more
OMG -- this is such a good spot for a bite to eat! Think Five Guys, but with more options! I'm a huge Five Guys fan but have always wished they had chicken burgers, salads, and just more options. Well I found that at Farmhaus and was not disappointed! I tried the chicken burger, which turns out to be a grilled chicken breast sandwich (so not ground chicken) and while they have burgers on the menu, paired with specific toppings, I did a build your own and chose the toppings I wanted. I love the aioli -- even with the fries too!! I also tried my sandwich on the gluten free bun and it was very good, and dairy free! The fries are not quite as good as Five Guys and they don't have cajun seasoning, which was disappointing. But the fries are still good and they are also hand cut. Another benefit of choosing Farmhaus over Five Guys is that they have a FULL bar! Cheers to that! I will definitely return to Farmhaus for a chicken burger next time I'm in the area. read more

The basis of this review was the complete disappointment of the food I received. I was staying across the street at the Hyatt place on a business trip. I ordered the farmhouse burger recommended by the cashier gal. I also ordered the onion rings and fried pickles to try. The entire order was cold. The only warm thing in my order was the fried egg on the burger. The burger patties were cold, the cheese was cold, along with all my other items. It certainly was not made to order and it was food cooked way in advance with the result being dry and cold. I do not recommend this place! read more

Farmhaus Burgers on Flowing Wells Road is serving some good food, cold brews and some outta site milkshakes ((with liquor). I stopped to visit during happy hour ordered from the bar, some fried jalapeño and a beer, the bartender had heavy orders for ice cream based drink ( bourbon caramel shake ) so I just had to order one.... Now I'm no fan of these kinds of beverages however this particular one was outstanding. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, especially the ladies. The establishment was crowded (Saturday) however the atmosphere was chilled and people at the bar was chatting it up also the bartender was great. read more

I really like Farmhaus Burger. This is my first time at this location and I ordered take-out. The online ordering process was pretty easy and once I got there it did not take long to get my order. I ordered the Garden Burger with American Cheese and the Sweet Potato Tots. The red pea burger was very tasty. I enjoyed it a lot but wish it were hotter (temperature-wise). Normally, I love sweet potato tots but these were a bit different. They definitely had a different texture than I am used to. You can tell they are prepared in-house and not processed. The texture is like a mashed sweet potato ball that has been fried. However, the Tot Sauce is everything. It is a great accompaniment to the tots. I was prepared to eat ketchup with my tots but I am glad I chose different. I am going to try one of their grilled cheese sandwiches the next time I visit!! read more
Me and my wife went here for a casual lunch while out shopping. Now normally I am a huge burger fan which is what made me want to try this place out, but I also love a good grilled cheese since I am still a kid at heart. Once I saw the Boss Hog grilled cheese with pulled pork and bacon jam I was sold. It was absolutely amazing and am so glad I got it, though I will definitely be back soon to try out their vast array of burgers. My wife had the chili cheese fries since she wasnt as hungry and of course I had to eat some as well since they looked delicious. The portion size was huge enough to allow my wife to fill up and for me to top off my stomach from the grilled cheese. The fact that this place also has a full bar makes it a top spot on my list for a lunch or dinner where you want to relax in a restaurant without it being a full-service type restaurant. They have outdoor seating as well so it is good for groups or small children so take the whole family as there is something for everyone! read more

We were NOT pleased with our food here nor the prices! Their food is sold separately so instead of paying 13.75 for a drink, fries and burger ... YOU ONLY GET A BURGER! You have to pay separately for a drink and separately again for the fries! They need to make combo meals a thing there. I had the southern bbq chicken wings, which again came as only the wings-- no side or drink. Although the chicken wings had a great sauce, the chicken was extremely dry. My husband got the special of the month: the venison burger, and it was nothing but disappointing. Everything from the mushrooms, to the cheese, to the burger itself had no flavor, it was tasteless! A big mushy burger for a big price. We spent $35 dollars and dumped half of it in the trash. Which is so disappointing! Wish we could have gotten a refund. read more
