So this is my second time at this restaurant and it's literally becoming one of my favorites anytime I'm visiting Augusta, Georgia. I was able to have their Sunday brunch and it was absolutely delicious. I love that the food was in a separate space than where you sat so it didn't cause any congestion. They also had a good variety of hot and fresh food. The mac & cheese is delicious and creamy, the greens had great flavor, and the biscuits and gravy were perfect. They also had made to order omelettes, which were huge along with French toast and a carving station. The dining room is always great and we had extra friendly service. I also got a mimosa which were amazing as well. This is one of the top places I would recommend anybody go to.

Went here to celebrate my aunts birthday, party of five. We had a reservation and we were seated immediately but the place wasn't busy. They were anticipating a twenty person table though! We ordered the burnt ends to start and boyyyyy were they delicious! IDK what the sauce was but bottle it! The nuts were pointless though, as well as the rabbit food on the plate. I ordered the salmon entree and it was perfect but I'd never been asked how I wanted my salmon cooked but well done I guess lol. Katelyn our waitress was a peach! She was kind and so helpful. My aunts friend had made a cake and she put it in the back to keep it cool for us until we were ready for it. They overcooked a steak but redid it! Otherwise, we had no complaints. Great place, linked to the school so I'm pretty sure most of the staff are students. I'd definitely go back!

Dessert included in brunch is extensive. This is just a few.

We had a table of 15 and this was no problem for this amazing group of Chefs and students. The food was amazing, fresh, and played well. It is wonderful to know that everything you purchase here goes back into the college to provide training programs for the community. The area has been refreshed and is very clean!

I visited last Friday with a few coworkers. The service and most of the food was fantastic as usual. I was a bit disappointed that my steak didn't taste great. It had an "off" taste to it. Due to time restraints on our evening, I only ate half and took the rest home and fixed it to my liking on my stovetop. I didn't make a fuss about it but did let someone know. I hope the next time it's better. I've had the New York Strip several times and they've even made it at lunch when I visited although it's a dinner menu. This was the first time it tasted off. The atmosphere of the place is always pleasant and not too rowdy.

Our experience was overall incredible! The special was a sea bass with puréed lemon cauliflower and the dish was perfect - so unique and delicious! The Edgar's salad was also absolutely delicious and the grilled chicken was seasoned perfectly. The drinks and warm bread with their special butter was all also wonderful! Would highly recommend!

I booked a party of 10 for a birthday dinner at edgars. I called the week of to make the reservation & they accommodated my needs. Passion was our server, she was excellent. She kept beverages full & suggested appetizers that didn't miss! I ordered oysters and crab cakes for appetizers & a Ribeye steak w/ a twice baked potato & asparagus for entreé.

Had Edgar's for the first time the other day and it was a great experience. The bread and peppered butter was fantastic. The bread was soft and the butter had a neat kick to it that made it hard not to overeat prior to the meal. For the appetizers we ordered the pork belly burnt ends and charcuterie board. For my entree, I ordered the lamb chops. Pork belly burnt ends (3.5/5): i enjoyed the tangy sauce that was on the burnt ends and the nuts and pickles were nice too. The burnt ends had a great smoky flavor, but I felt it could have been more tender. Compared to Texas bbq or Chinese braised pork belly, I do feel it lacked that melt in your mouth, barely need to chew texture I normally prefer. Charcuterie (4/5): Im no charcuterie snob at all- I'll eat any assortment of meat, cheese, jams, and fruits. This board was like any other good charcuterie I've had in the past. I always enjoy fig jam and they had a good variety of options to mix and match. Lamb rack (5/5): these were cooked a perfect medium rare and definitely a highlight of the meal. They were perfectly tender, each and every piece. The glaze was mildly sweet and the potatoes nice and creamy. Can't go wrong with grilled asparagus as a side and these were nice and crunchy. All around executed very well. Overall I had a great meal here and is definitely a place I recommend for any occasion.

Bodega isn't going anywhere, I am. And as I begin the moving process I have created a mental list of places I will miss in the Augusta area. And trust me, I know all the places. Fancy, hole-in-the-wall, no online presence, hyper online presence. I know all about them. And Bodega has consistently been a go-to spot for me over the years. Typically it is a Sunday morning/early afternoon, with a cup of coffee, and about half the time a soft shelled crab sandwich. Every other time, I throw caution to the wind. Could be a biscuit. Could be a pulled pork sandwich or The Lox. Who knows. But here's what I do know. The service, ambiance, and quality of what I order is always always at a level of excellence. And where else can you interact with the furry team member (Ash) as part of the experience? Such a relaxing spot, with the ceiling fans cooling you off (and the table fans keeping flies at bay) and the fountain trickling in the background. My girlfriend had the turkey bacon, the COE cakes (which are delicious hash browns), and the classic sweet waffles. I went with the beef quesadilla and the classic lemonade, which comes with free refills. The quesadilla was a great choice and the hash browns were very tasty. The waffle had a great flavor and was nice and soft, though it was served a bit cold. One thing to keep in mind is the presentation; the food is served on plastic plates with plastic silverware. While we tried not to let that affect our judgment since we were there for the food, presentation does eventually matter. Also, the temperature inside was a little warmer than I'd like--it was about 58 degrees outside, but that coolness definitely didn't translate to the dining room.
