I tried all the apps Mac n cheese balls were my favorite. The egg rolls weren't for me but my husband liked them. The devil eggs were deviled eggs. My salmon meal was pretty good loved the grits on the bottom. Our server was great with great fast service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute frog and chicken decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We all left very full and wanting a long nap.

Stopped here on a whim with my wife for our little breakfast together getaway. The food was all delicious, well seasoned and a wide variety for "regular" diners, to vegans, to those wanting something lighter. Dee was our waitress, and she was on it, very attentive and provided customer service the area is lacking. We were impressed and thankful for sure. Service was fast and friendly, and recommendations exceeded expectations. I had the Chicken and Waffles, which was lightly battered fried chicken strips and an airy Belgian Waffle! I also got the side French Toast, which my wife wanted with her breakfast and it was just right. She ordered the breakfast plate and a cinnamon roll with candied bacon on top. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a laid back place as far as ambiance, come as you are from tshirts to polos to suits to scrubs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall a great dining experience. Our server Dee was wonderful again...kudos!

We had an amazing time Friends Breaking Bread together

Came in to enjoy a meal with our family. Greeting service was a bit lack luster; didn't feel warm or inviting by the hostess. Our party of 5 waited as they fixed a table for us to sit at. After a short wait, we were shown to our table. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was decorated in a pleasant motif and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We all enjoyed our meals to the fullest. My CIN FULL coffee was very tasty! Wish I could grant a 5 star rating, but our first greeting from the hostess did not feel inviting and she never smiled or appeared happy to even be there. She definitely didn't match the rest of our experience.

Pierre was our server & was absolutely fantastic! Food was delicious as always and the weather was nice enough that we sat outside, perfect Sunday!

This place was actually 2nd on our list and they were DELICIOUS! We really wanted wings and honestly had we known we would've just ordered those and fries! They were sooo delicious. Perfectly fried and the ranch is fantastic. The service was good. The server gave us some recommendations and was pretty attentive. The southern fried chicken sandwich was soooo flavorful and juicy. There was so much I only ate half. Fries were nice and hot. Stopping by was honestly a win for us! Would absolutely recommend going in for lunch!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First time here, very cute restaurant, hostess was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was good my only negative comment was that my hot chocolate was ice cold. I did receive a new hot chocolate later. I had the shrimp and grits it was great.

We visited Frog and Hen during a busy brunch rush and were seated in under 10 minutes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was immediate, and the atmosphere was spot-on: classic 80s hits, perfect lighting, and a classy bar area that sets a great tone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with the Pineapple Mimosa carafe ($18 for about 4 mimosas--great value!), but the real star was the Apple Cider mimosa we ordered later. I highly recommend starting with the cider! As a farm-to-table spot, the 30-minute wait for food was completely reasonable and well worth it. My Chicken and Waffles were cooked to perfection; honestly, the best I've ever had. My girlfriend's breakfast platter was equally impressive, specifically the house-made jam, which was a fresh, standout highlight. We finished with the Hello Honey and Cinn Full iced coffees to go, both of which were incredible. After a week in Augusta, this is my highest recommendation!"

That salmon was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside! The grits were creamy and the green beans could've used some seasoning but all together it was a MEAL! Very filling. Our server Dee was great and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place was pretty busy but not too busy during lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was low but you could still hear it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Traveling again! We had brunch here as a friend living in the area likes it... we had Brunch on Sunday. A breakfast grits bowl was my choice, I'm from the west and finding grits is tough !! Love being here where it's staple! The bowl had creamy grits, egg, bacon and was filling and tasty. My friend had biscuits and gravy, meal was good, gravy is standard, decent. The biscuit is big and was good, soft with a crisp top and honey butter over it. We like the variety of juices they offer too! I like grapefruit juice and not a lot of restaurants offer it. They only prepare eggs 3 ways, over easy, scrambled or over hard period. I haaaate runny whites when I eat eggs but ok with runny yellow so order OM usually but I wasn't risking it and scrambled mine in the bowl, asking for scrambled "well" hoping they were not too wet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It sounds picky but texture... they were cooked fine and we liked the restaurant, servers and overall vibes here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They had a cute bakery case too with some large cake pops, cookies and great looking desserts! I planned to take home a cookie but was so full I couldn't ... they have a good menu and I'd love to get back there and try more things!!

A must go when visiting Augusta. The food here is phenomenal specifically the Nashville Chicken Dip is a must have. Their Chicken Chicken Sandwich portion size is good and very juicy. The Bread Pudding is probably the best bread pudding ever. My biggest take aways are, doing take out is not really the best because the portion sizes are a bit smaller and the chicken wings are all right. But for Dine in, it is worth it. Service is decent but it varies depending on how busy it is.

Amazing food & friendly service! Before we got sat, we were warned that they were shortstaffed, but that really didn't impact our experience at all. The fried chicken biscuit was to die for, I would go back just for that. I did get my egg fried hard because I don't do runny eggs, so if you're like me, that's an option - don't overlook this dish! The picture does not do it justice. It was just perfect. Plenty of seating and very hip country-esque decor.

This place is cute and quirky inside and the service was phenomenal! We were seated right away and our waitress was super helpful with making choices on what to eat. The food was delicious although the cheese balls we felt had too much Gouda flavor and we weren't a fan. The dessert was 10/10 I would recommend, not pictured was the vanilla bean cheesecake that we also highly recommend.

Starting with our drinks, we both had coffee-which I would return for the coffee alone! It was bold, curious, mysterious and honestly had me asking for the name of the coffee before I left! We had a server in training, so two servers! Both were outstanding! Quick to refill our drinks and remove plates that were empty. The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding. I was truly impressed, with his creativity and his attention to detail because it shined like a diamond from the front of house all the way down to the sweet lady filling the cakes when I was taking my pictures for this review! "Let me get it all full and pretty now before you get those pictures!" I mean, if she wasn't just the sweetest thing, and took 100% pride in her work. Same with the gentleman working the omelet station. He came in the day before to prep the fish (which is a long day of work!) The love they put into each dish truly shines through effortlessly! With permission, personally, I would suggest they rename their Sunday Brunch to "Soul-filled Sunday Brunch" because #1 I left ready to go to sleep! #2 I had a religious experienced during that meal, in blessings and dining I have only ever had at Church Potlucks! #3 It elevated some fancy and some common foods to such heights, I was expect to be hearing gospel music while I ate! #4 Personally, I hope heaven's banquet table is much like today's-full of love, flavor and most importantly-community! Everyone from other diners enjoying their brunch to servers, sous chefs to the top man himself-not one person wasn't smiling from ear to ear. It's been near a decade since I've seen that many smiling people all in one place! While I will have to limit how often I come for Brunch lest my clothes start shrinking! Edgar's by far, takes the trophy for elevated dining experiences in Augusta, Ga! Best of all, a percentage of all their sales goes back directly into Helms College (located in the same shopping center.) Helms college offers hands-on education in culinary arts, health services, and industrial trades like HVAC/R. Keep up the amazing work, I eagerly look forward to dining with you again!

I am an avid food lover, and I photograph just about every beautiful dish placed in front of me. But Cork & Flame was different. From the moment we walked through the doors, the experience was so exceptional and immersive that, for once, I simply forgot about the camera. I was too busy being present and enjoying every moment. We were immediately greeted by smiling hostesses who congratulated us on our anniversary. While we waited to be seated, we were presented with two beautiful flutes of champagne,- a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for what was to come. We were also presented with the most thoughtful Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff. Once seated, we were welcomed by an incredible team, but our waitress was truly in a class of her own. I have never encountered service quite like hers. Her knowledge of the menu was exceptional, and every detail of the evening felt intentional. The way she guided us through our selections and thoughtfully presented each course made something as simple as ordering dinner feel like part of a carefully choreographed work of art. We began with an amuse-bouche, and even the experience surrounding it was remarkable. Before enjoying it, we were presented with the most thoughtfully prepared Japanese hand wipes, delicately infused with yuzu and hydrated right before us in the most discreet and elegant fashion. It was such a small detail, but one we never knew we needed until we experienced it. It was the kind of thoughtful touch that made the entire evening feel so carefully considered. Then came the beef and onion empanadas, and they were absolutely out of this world, beautifully prepared and exploding with layers of exciting flavor. Alongside them came a beautiful board of crunchy, delicious bread paired with the lightest, fluffiest butter I have ever experienced. The butter itself was infused with a subtle smoky flavor and was unlike anything I have ever tasted. Somehow, even something as simple as bread and butter felt completely elevated and memorable. For our entrées, we were once again completely blown away. My husband had the lobster gnocchi, bursting with incredible flavors of lobster and chorizo, perfectly balanced and beautifully finished. My entrée was the chef's special by ,Chef Gaston, a breathtaking rosemary infused skirt steak served with whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. It arrived beneath a beautiful dome that preserved the aromatic smoke until it was lifted tableside in front of me. It wasn't simply dinner; it was a presentation, an aroma, a moment, and an experience all at once. And then came dessert, which somehow managed to continue the perfection of the evening. My husband enjoyed an incredibly decadent yet surprisingly light dessert accompanied by an assortment of unforgettable dips, including a pineapple dip unlike anything we had ever experienced. I opted for a refreshing and beautifully light Limoncello tiramisu, and once again, every element was executed flawlessly. From the food to the presentation, the service to the smallest details, everything was truly top tier. There was such a level of care and intention behind everything we experienced that it made the entire evening feel incredibly special. It wasn't just a meal--it was an experience thoughtfully designed from beginning to end. Cork & Flame doesn't simply serve a meal--it creates an experience. It feels like stepping into another world, almost like taking a culinary journey without ever leaving your table. Every course tells a story, every detail has a purpose, and every member of the staff seems genuinely invested in making your experience extraordinary. I would recommend Cork & Flame a million times over--not just for the food, but for the entire experience. If you appreciate culinary artistry, exceptional service, thoughtful details, and a restaurant that genuinely cares about creating a memorable evening, this is somewhere you absolutely need to experience. And honestly, the fact that I have no pictures to show you might be the greatest compliment I can give. For once, I didn't need my camera. I just needed to be present for one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had.

It has been mentioned before that reservations are necessary even for a weekday. For Evans, that is unique. We were lucky that a table was available and that we had a good view of the interior and the kitchen. My husband is the chef in our house so he observed the kitchen staff while I, interested in ambiance, made note of the clientele and the wait staff. This is the conclusion I made. This venue looked like a great place for a first date, a drink in the evening with friends or dinner with someone special. I would not go there for a family birthday party and it is definitely an adult venue. The staff was obviously well trained for excellent service. The smiles were genuine. Our server's recital of the days' specials wasn't rushed and she answered my husband's questions. She was also was patient with my husband's suggestion for an already perfect dish. The tables were uncluttered by table clothes and condiment's. The noise level set off our smart watch's alarm but we had not problem conversing. Just one more thing. I almost never see restrooms mentioned. Winston's Tavern has clean, very clean, restrooms as befitting a very classy venue. Thank you for the experience. You will do well especially during the masters.
